Sadly, it couldn't work that way. Heck, I tried that once, in a way. Couldn't say it was the best first thread...

I've found that those kinds of tales usually work best as flashbacks, or conversations about what happened one day one with another player.  I think it might be better if you tried having a thread where you and the others in it were doing a quest/task while talking about what everyone's first day was like.  It's more of a goal-oriented focus, and lets multiple players take turns in the spotlight.
