  1. Dashing briskly through the battle field and completely confusing the boar pup, the Assassin danced circles around her enemy. Her speed was insanely hard to track. With the help of the super human system, nothing could catch her if she didn't want it to.

A sharp dash into the boars side and her crimson-painted dagger piercing unforgivably deep into it's skin, it burst into nothing but data without even activating a sword art. Once the polygons dispersed, the quest item was revealed, falling into the grass. The dark cloaked child dipped down and picked it up. Her silhouette looked over to Freyd. "I'm really fast, but can't attack more than one target at a time. Makes fighting these meanies pretty hard."

The girl kicked the dirt where the boar had died and dispersed. It was only now that the leopard cub made itself visible. Realizing that her master was now alone with a stranger, she came out growling deeply at him until Assassin called for her. "Hey, Hyou. No." The growl of the beast calmed long enough for her to rejoin her master. "Also, hi."

  2. Having gotten here first, she felt as though she should have finished before another person, but even still, the boy was already done. With only a single tusk in her possession, the Assassin adjusted the grip of her blood-colored dagger.

A hidden pair of emerald-eyes peered up to him as she noticed he had left only one boar remaining. Her face was nothing much but a shadowed silhouette. The only two notable features that could be seen were her short white locks of hair and her shining green eyes.

"Hey, looks like you got 'em all. I'll take this last one then." Her soft, yet clarion voice was likely unexpected from her appearance. Without giving him much time to react, her form had rushed past him faster than he could blink. Dagger-users were gifted an incredible swiftness, but her size aided with that even further. There was likely no one that could keep up with her agility.

The remaining boar charged her as she approached, but tripped over it's own hoof as they were about to make contact. Assassin's blade barely missed it's mark as it collided with the grass.

  3. Nothing around her was spawning. There was hardly any boars anywhere around here, and now another player had appeared and annihilated three boars all at once. Jealousy was already welling within her when she saw him loot up two of the tusks for himself. All the mobs were focused on him and she couldn't get anything to look at her. Maybe it was time to force something to look at her.

A boar was approaching the boy from behind for a sneak attack. As much as she could care less about him getting attacked, and he would probably be alright judging by his health bar, she really wanted to get started with this tusk thing.

Crouching low to the ground and blasting forward with speed, she made enough noise for the boy to hear approach. From his perspective, it probably looked as though she was rearing towards him to slash him in half, until her blade clawed through the boar behind him. It whined in pain before exploding into data and leaving behind it's tiny little tusk. Grass kicked up under her feet as she stopped her momentum to pick up the ivory bone. One down, two to go.

  4. Back to the first floor. It had been awhile since Assassin found herself on the sunny, beginner-friendly floor. There were some quests that the preteen needed to work on before she headed further up. While she had been on higher, scarier looking floors, she had never really engaged in combat without a friend to help her, like Onee-chan. Raising the darkened, worn cloak over her frosted-white hair, Assassin made her way out of the safe zone of the Town of Beginnings.

The field was just as bright and beautiful as she remembered it. Weak monsters and low level players, including herself, wandered about their own business. Luckily, once she arrived to the boar's spawning location, no one else was there. Working in peace would feel nice.

The grinding of steel sounded underneath the rough leather coat as the girl pulled her dagger loose from it's sheath. A twist of the blade into a reverse grip and she was ready to fight her first boar. Not that it would be difficult. The massive wasp, giant bats and tree-meanies already fell to her. (Or was that because Ariel and Snow killed them all?)

  5. Both Snow and Ariel moved ahead of Assassin, but she didn't want to be left behind. Her tiny body went low to the ground before her burst of speed left a gust of wind between both of her companions. Nothing was going to out pace her, definitely not a trio of big meanies. The blade she wielded with an underhand grip turned into it's normal purple hue, humming with power. This would be the first time she used this stronger level sword art and she was going to make it count.

The blade slashed through the goblin's side, faster than the eye could see and before anyone could find her, she was already next to Ariel after her charging attack. Looking up to her with a smile, Assassin changed her dagger's grip in her hand. "Nee-chan that was really cool! Keep it up and these jerks will regret messing with us, right?!"

  6. "Don't think like that." Assassin put plainly. "We'll find her. The quest would fail if she was dead... wouldn't it?" Hopefully the merit in those words would help keep her tank focused on the fight in front of them now.

With a gust of wind, Snow felt the presence of her roguish ally beam past her. She was hard to see in this low light, until her dagger lit up with it's familiar colored hue. The red blade slashed through the air, hitting absolutely nothing in front of her. An annoyed strain on her face, the Assassin zoomed back to ensure nothing would hit her in the cross fire. While she considered the dark her ally, it was rather fickle to have it blocking her vision so much that she actually missed an attack.

"These meanies wont stop us from helping that girl! Stay focused tank-lady! You can't help anyone if you get beat up."

  7. Run, run, run. Nothing was more fun than being around everywhere her feet could take her. The more she continued to run, the faster and faster she had gotten. Nothing in this world was able to keep up with her speed that she had found just yet. That also meant that nothing was able to out pace her if they tried to run from her.

It had been a full week since the message had went out to ever player in the entire game. Now there was a big, massive crowd around the area where it was supposed to be happening. Assassin didn't see much of a use to it to be honest, but whatever. Her opinion changed a bit when she saw the familiar set of armor walking towards the crowd. Diverting her track, the Assassin hopped on Snow's back and yelled out. "Tank-lady! What's everyone doing here?" The child asked, peering over the blonde's shoulder to see the crowd.

  8. The Assassin looked at the sand surrounding them. The harsh environment was eating away at her cheerful bravado pretty quickly. The child's hand lifted the cloak up to protect her eyes from the sand flying at her face. Her gaze crossed over to Ariel. "Man, it's a little worse out here than I thought it would be. Hopefully we don't take too long to find the stuff. The camping thing sounds fun, but maybe on a floor that isn't so harsh."

Thankfully, it wasn't draining her health yet, not that it would be a cause for alarm since she was already a pretty decent level, but the rogue's health points wouldn't regenerate out here.

Walking down the path, she looked out for anything that could be useful to help them track the shipment that went missing. Already the sun was starting to set on thier journey. Looks like they would be out here for the night.

  9. Assassin closed the map on her menu and looked back over to Ariel and the other two boys. The tailor seemed to be upset with their whispering to one on another like they were kids in class trying to pass a note between each other. They're demeanor screamed liar. It was difficult to lie to someone who was a great liar themselves. However, there wasn't much reason to bring up his misstep, even if it would be a little funny.

"Okay, let's not waste any time! I need to get the skill and get stronger! More quest means more experience and that means I get closer to being as stronger as Nee-chan!" Assassin led the way out into the desert, noticing the harsh conditions almost instantly. Readjusting her cloak to cover some of her face, the girl turned to ensure that the others were following her. Best not to split up too far in these conditions.

  10. Finding the cave was relatively easy with the both of them working to find it. The damp darkness penetrated the light of the sun into a void of unseen threats. They would have to be careful, neither of them had brought a light source. Looking up to Snow she was about to make a comment before the tank spoke first.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine. There's..." Thinking on the fly to get those thoughts out of her mind, she blurted out something else. "I was just lost in my thoughts for a moment-" That wasn't really what she meant to say. Too late to change it now. Then she mentioned the girl. "O-Oh yeah. The girl is in danger, we have to help her." No matter how much she tried to play it off, acting like a hero wasn't her style. Why couldn't she feel pleased about helping a girl her age from a fatal situation when she has the power to do so?

    @Snow

  11. "M-Me?" Ariel was putting her on the spot as the parties leader. If she was alone, it would be much simpler of a choice. She would just run everywhere around the area that was marked until she found the thing, but would everyone be able to keep up with her... or would she be able to keep up with them. "Um... Well..." The hum of her menu sounded with the wave of an arm. Looking over the location that was covered in a massive circle around the inspection area, she thought momentarily.

"Um... We wont be able to find any tracks since the sandstorm will have shifted all the prints and stuff around. The best bet that we could hope for is that the stuff is just sitting near the roads here." The girl pointed to marked roads through the map and traced them with her finger as she continued. "If we can't find them there, maybe there's a clue we can go off of to find it."

  12. The girl fixed the cape that had been made from her run back into it's normal appearance as a cloak. She wouldn't go anywhere outside the safe zone without the cloak she wore. Seeing Kimba again made her smile. "Hey Kimba! I think you'll be happy, 'cause I'm going to be getting a friend for you soon!" The girl addressed that thought before looking up to Ariel. Completely fount with energy over-bursting, Assassin would make quick work of this quest with her speed and keen eye.

"That sounds easy enough for such a nice skill. Sounds like something I'll need in the future, so yeah lets do it!" The girl walked over and talked with the NPC in her cloak, finding the general location where her stuff was lost and getting a location marker on her map to search in a massive general area. "Whoa, that does look like it will take some time to cover. I'm glad I'll have you to help me find it Aneki."

  13. Run run run. That was all Assassin felt like she did in this world anymore. There wasn't much need to condition yourself physically, but Assassin was still getting used to the fact that she was almost as fast as a four-legged animal at her top speed. Being a dagger user was fun because it felt as though nothing in the world could ever catch her.

A beep lit up her menu as she got a message from someone. Likely Ariel or Snow. The girl skid to a stop and waved her arm down, the hum of her menu sounding as she did so. A smile came across her lips at the offer of more questing, and for a new skill she could have on all the time. It was a win-win. She worked on typing a message while she made her way back to the teleporter.

"I'll be right there." And in no time, the girl was on floor five, meeting up with Ariel at the coordinates she specified. "Hi Nee-chan!~"

  14. Assassin could tell that whatever she said was upsetting Ariel in some way. It would probably be best for her to stop talking about it for now, even if it wasn't her that she was getting mad with specifically. Generally hearing a sad back story wouldn't be easy for someone as compassionate as Ariel has been to her. Remaining quiet was her best tactic now, hoepfully that would allow Nee-chan to calm down. They made it it wall the way to the inn before Ariel spoke up again.

It was pretty much impossible to find an inn in this stupid world that had a double bed room free. Sharing a single bed wouldn't be entirely impossible for an adult and a kid her size, but she feared making Ariel uncomfortable, especially after her slight fit of anger. "Uh...Um, I d-don't mind sleeping the floor..." The girl offered opening up her menu and switching to her pajamas. Pajamas being nothing but and over-sized t-shirt, the girl took a seat on the rug. Petting Kimba as she came to give the girl some licks.

"I've been used to sleeping on the floor before. I really..." She was sure that Ariel wasn't going to accept that answer. If anything, it would be a repeat of her time with Snow. No matter what, she was sure that she would end up in the bed one way or another. At least this way, she wouldn't hog the bed from Ariel. "Um... Yeah, I'll sleep in the bed with you." Her defeated tone apparent to the Lioness, she crawled into the bed and laid down against the pillow. Her weariness was already taking over her demeanor. "Goodnight...Nee-chan..." And with that, the girl was already fast asleep.

  15. Assassin paused as Ariel reached out and stroked her cheek. She had something in her mouth while the woman spoke, so she couldn't respond right away. She chewed up the food and swallowed once more touching her own face like she wasn't sure what she was talking about. After a few seconds she realized what Ariel was talking about.

"I don't think the caretaker would allow me to something like that. She doesn't like it when kids draw on their skin cause then she has to make them take baths or help them clean it off. I can't clean these off. She told me that it was upsetting but they would never come off my face. She told me also that I had them before I was put in the orphanage. I've been there since I was... I don't know. As long as I can remember, I've lived there. I'd say at least 10 years. Physical memories of bad intentions will scar my face forever. Whoever the meanies are who did it to me didn't care about me, I'm glad they're gone."

The girl continued to eat her food, nearly done by now. She wondered if Ariel wanted to rent a room since it was getting later now and sleep here. "Hey, the sun is going down now. Do you want me to rent a room in town? I don't really have a home to go to, yet."

  16. Assassin watched Kimba run up to Calrex. They must already know each other, though she was beginning to realize that most of the people here already knew each other. She was keen enough to notice that at least. Walking over to the counter, she took a smell of what had been cooking. She took a plate and started to get some of the foo that was made already.

"If you know Kimba, that means you know Nee-chan, don't you? She's here right now, talking with some really big man. He was kind of scary when I first saw him. I kind of snuck around and followed her here. She said she knew the whole time, so she kind of let me come here with her." Looking over at Calrex, she smiled and wave to him. "Hi, mister. My name is Sin-chan, at least that's how Nee-chan calls me. She's here right now and told me to make sure that Kimba got something to eat."

After collecting some food for herself, she grabbed a bowl and put some down for Kimba as well calling her over. "Here Kimba! I got something for you to eat!" The girl said taking a seat at the table and starting to eat her own food. She looked back over to snow and smiled with her mouth full of food. "Hey, tank-lady, how have you been since we last saw each other. I know it wasn't that long ago, but I was kind of starting to miss you!"

  17. The child shook her head, her white locks waving between her cheeks with a mouth stuffed full with lettuce and greens. "Just because I think I should focus all on my own build, doesn't mean that I don't want to meet other people and have fun! Even if I become real strong like you, I don't think I could do everything on my own. I'm sure that even someone as strong as you needs help from friends and allies at some point."

The Assassin looked down to the lion cub to check on her progress on the raw steak. She had almost forgotten about the meat that she herself had been ordered. Eating anything could satisfy hunger, but she preferred it if she could eat something that tasted more delicious than just the leaves of lettuce and other vegetables. "I don't know what I'll do when I get as strong as you, Nee-Chan, but I'll do something, that's for sure!"

  18. Familiar: Hyou
    Type: Leopard Cub
    Taming Link
Description: A leopard cub with very light, white fur that was found by Assassin with no parents in sight. Upon approaching the girl, she attached herself to Assassin rather quickly. The little cub is female and is extremely protective of her master. Any getting close to Assassin will be greeted by the leopard cub's low growl and maybe a deep roar if they seem too dangerous. Hyou is about as big as a familiar can get, being about the size of a great dane, standing at about 2' 8 inches when sitting weighing more than Assassin herself: 105lbs.

    121-1210313_hd-pics-photos-attractive-leopard-tiger-cat-family.jpg

  19. Now with her familiar acquired, Assassin felt as though anything she fought would fall to it's knees and fear her. However, that in its self wasn't enough for her. She would need to gain more levels and train her familiar. That being said she hadn't even given the thing a name. What name would really suit a little leopard cub? It was now that she wished Ariel was here to help with it. She would ask her how she got Kimba's name in the first place. For now, she would stick with something basic. She already sucked enough with names. "Are you fine with the name Hyou?"

The leopard cub rubbed itself against her leg and purred happily at its new master. She smiled and gave the feline a nice few pets. "Great! We'll have so much fun Hyou! Wait until you meet Nee-chan and Kimba! You'll like them a lot."

  20. The wolf desperately ran through the trees, bolting through Assassin as quick as it could to get away from her onslaught, but to think that it was faster than her. The girl bound quickly through the trees after it, making sure that her chance for some col and loot wouldn't be missed on a target that got away from her.

Her blade turned purple once again, barely catching up with the wolf, she dug her dagger into it again, stopping it in it's tracks completely and falling to the ground. It's HP was draining into zero, until the wolf exploded into nothing but blue mist of data. An item cube lay as it's gravestone, moving into the Assassin's inventory automatically without any problem. The wolf had been slain and she had found her new little ally, so now would be a good time to make haste back to the main settlement.

  21. The wolf was losing this battle with the girl completely, it desperately tried to find something it could do to stop this before it faded into nothing. What else could it do besides just bite the girl? Hesitating for only a moment was enough for the Assassin to jump back in and embed her purple dagger into the wolf several times. It did it's best to attack back, slicing her arm on her side open. Unfortunately, it was pretty much too late for the canine. The bleeding may have dissipated but the next attack from Assassin would surely finish it off. It struggle desperately to get away from her. Any hope it could have to make it out of this alive was a chance that it was willing to take.

Assassin wasn't going to allow her prey to escape. All it would take was a single weak sword art to finish her enemy off and then they would be alright to return to the safe zone. What would Ariel think if she knew that she found a pet all on her own?

  22. The wolf at this point had completely lost it's target to the shadows. Assassin was becoming too resourceful and smart. Sooner or later, the purple blade came from the shadows once more, gnawing its way into the wolf's fur once again. No re-inflict of bleed but even still, it would be lucky to survive another attack from the child. She may have to finish it off with a basic attack or a weaker sword art, but that didn't matter as long as it died all the same.

It didn't even try to retaliate as the hidden fighter slipped back into places that it couldn't see. The Assassin was too quick, too fast for the low level mob, and funnily enough, this was likely as strong as they came for this floor based on it's HP bar. If this was all she had to worry about from the best of floor two, how bad could higher floors be?

  23. The wolf was suffering after that attack, Assassin could see it. It whined in a low growl at her, attempting to make due of the situation, but the girl was too insanely fast. The combination of her tiny body, the choice in a light weapon and the added effects of the familiar enhancing her abilities made something that was incredibly difficult to track and keep an eye on. Within a moment, the Assassin was behind her target, blade humming low with its usual purple glow, it dug deeply into the canine's back, re-inflicting the bleed effect.

The wolf howled in pain before Assassin kicked it in it's ass, making it fall to the ground. 1/4 of it's HP bar had fallen from that attack with bleed alone and now it was sitting on half of its HP, she could easily kill it in about two more successful hits if she was lucky enough to inflict the bleed effect one more time.
