  1. The girl shot up the moment the giant fish monster exploded from the water. It's grotesque appearance was easily one of the most digusting things that she had seen in the game so far, but that wouldn't stop her from helping Nee-san fight. Assassin dove into combat quickly, her blade lighting up with a pleasing hum of energy, colored in a powerful purple. The blade shot into the skin of her prey easily, slashing and dashing in every direction like a tornado of daggers piercing from every side.

When her attack was finished, the girl made her way back behind Ariel, being sure not to draw too much attention to herself. Worrying Ariel with her own mistakes would only upset her. "It's so groooosssss. Beat him up quick before he starts spitting some kind of icky slime or something." The girl complained getting into position to launch her next attack.

  2. The dirt covering Assassin's face was wiped completely clean thanks to Ariel. She offered the little salamander to her with a smile after having cleaned her up. "I didn't want you to lose it though. Some dirt isn't going to hurt me."

Tagging alongside Ariel with Raidou in tow, the group made their way back to the lake without a problem. Her motherly-figure put the lizard on a hook and cast the poor little thing into the water. The girl watched eagerly, sitting in on the edge of the pier. Her legs dangled just above the water. Fishing wasn't the most interactive or fun thing Assassin had in mind for today, but she wouldn't turn down spending time with Ariel.

After a few minutes, the bobber in the water remained untouched. The young girl was looking a bit impatient already. "People do this for fun?" She asked quietly, "This is so boring."

    Nothing seems to be biting...

  3. Assassin smiled to Ariel. Though she was slightly bothered by the fact that she was scared of Hyoh, she wasn't going to complain. It wasn't something she could control so it wouldn't be fair to force it on her. She hugged the woman back as she knelt down to console the girl. When asked about her want to get a familiar like Kimba, Sin nodded and smiled again. "I found Hyoh abandoned by her parents. She was sad, so I brought her along with me."

From there the party ventured into the forest and Ariel located their bait almost instantly. Easily done, nothing could escape Assassin. Her eyes grew focused and serious as she crouched down to get a head-start. A deep exhale and inhale escaped her lips.

The moment that she took off, a gust of wind exploded by the two adults in the form of a black blur heading straight for the bait. The moment it saw the girl chasing it, the lizard bolted across the ground. She threw her dagger at it, attempting to stop it in it's tracks but missed. Passing over her dagger, she speeds up more and dives for the cold-blooded creature, just falling short of that as well. "Come back here you little- HYOH!"

In an instant, the Leopard jumped from the bushes and slammed it's massive paw down on the lizard. Hopefully they didn't need live bait, cause it surely wasn't moving after that. Assassin came and collected the bait and Hyoh returned to the bushes. "There." The girl said, dirt covering her face and the front of her wardrobe. "Easy."

    Lizard Caught!

  4. Even though Ariel tried to explain her reasoning, the girl still seemed to be somewhat disappointed that she didn't have the reaction that she was expecting to her familiar. She looked down at Hyoh, who seemed somewhat unbothered by this turn of events, and whispered something in her ear. The big cat rose to her feet and bounded off into the bushes.

"I asked her to stay out of sight for you Nee-san. It would be bad if you were scared while you were in combat. I'm sure you'll come to like her soon though." Assassin smiled and got up of the ground to follow the group into the base of the mountain.

Assassin seemed to go quiet after that. She was really hoping that Ariel would be happy that she was so influenced by Kimba that she got a familiar like the lion. With a heavy sigh, the girl followed beside Ariel.

  5. Assassin followed Ariel into the estate proper. She was still nerved as they walked in, sticking close to Ariel enough to ensure that she wouldn't lose her in the crowd.

Ariel took her off into the familiar kitchen however to find a man that was nearly two times her own height selling tacos to the mass of participants at this meeting. Ariel took a moment to make her the taco and tamales. She had had tacos every once in a blue-moon, but as far as a tamale? Assassin had never heard of this thing before. She took a bite out of the taco, her minds seemingly off the giant of a man that was Oscar and onto the great Mexican food he had prepared.

The duo headed into the hall where the meeting was happening. Assassin took a seat against the wall as Ariel had, sitting close to her as possible without making her uncomfortable. The girl made a small mess between her legs as she bit into the taco again. Once she finished with that food, she made and attempt to clean up the mess of meat, cheese and lettuce. It seemed at this point, she was in her own mental space, even as Ariel spoke up to tell the paladin how terrifying this boss was.

Next it was time to try the tamale. The girl took a bite into the soft shell of the food, liking it more than the taco since it didn't make such a mess. She scarfed it down rather quickly for her size, but still wasn't satisfied with her hunger. Once Oscar had brought his prepared foods into the room, the girl walked over and grabbed three more of the tortilla wrapped foods. She quickly headed back to Ariel, after thanking the cook, with a napkin this time. She set the tissue in her lap and enjoyed the food at her leisure.

That was about when Hidden dove into the party. Assassin had no idea that it was her until she walked over and stood next to her. She shrunk at first, not realizing the face she saw was a familiar one, since the rogue is normally seen in a hood hiding her face.

"You had me worried there for a bit Ayame."

The girl's ears perked as she looked deeper at the face. No one would call her Ayame, other than, "Nee-chan?" She said to Hidden, only realizing how badly her nicknames were going to clash with Ariel and Hidden. Ariel being Nee-san; Hidden being Nee-chan. She whispered quietly to the woman. "Why would you worry, I'm here with Ariel." The girl raised a finger over to the lioness, to put a face with a name.

    @Ariel - The Crowned Lion @Hidden @Oscar

  6. Assassin's mood shifted. Seeing how she was starting to feel upset about bringing up her real name, she should probably stop pushing that subject. Instead she smiled to Hidden. "Don't worry about it, Nee-chan. Hidden, Sis. No matter what I call you, you're still Nee-chan to me."

The girl's mood had shifted from it's serious tone to her more normal upbeat and cheery tune. She did her best to keep up appearances to ensure that no one  could really see a clear side of her, but in this case, she wasn't really trying to hide anything from the rogue. All she wanted to do was do what she can do to help her. She had no main goal in the future anyways, the only reason that she was tagging along with people so often was because she literally had nothing better to do than stick with them. She would help Hidden, even in this gloomy place.

  7. Assassin jumped as Ariel seemed to flee in terror of Hyoh. She was terrified of her, but not of Kimba? Weren't they both of the feline variety.

"B-But Nee-san, this Hyoh is cuddly and nice." She says hugging the fat chonk of a leopard that was next to her and rubbing her head into the fur. "She wont hurt you I promise. I found her in a forest all alone, abandoned by her parents and she loves me. I told her that you're a super nice person that wouldn't hurt me so she wouldn't growl at you and everything."

Assassin was doing her best to sell her familiars kindness to her motherly-figure. Yeah, at this point, Ariel was beginning to feel more and more like a mother to her, which was starting to feel weird the more she thought about it, since she had no idea what having a mother even felt like in the first place.

  8. Before she even got the chance to jump in and help them, they had already killed the beast. Hidden's angry tone came out again, making Assassin's ears fold behind her head and her tail shrink between her legs. "I-I'm s-" Before she could even apologize, Hidden was walking off without her. She debated even chasing after her, but ultimately, she didn't have anywhere else to go. The pitter patter of her short stride soon caught up to the rogue.

"N-Nee-chan, I'm sorry I should have listened to you, please don't be so mad." The little girl walked in front of her and started back pedaling her steps in front of her unless she stopped to talk with her. "I just want to get stronger and help you fight! I want to prove that I can be helpful to you and not..." She shrank even more. "And not be... dead weight..."

  9. Her real name? Was that something she should be doing? Kobayashi-san probably wouldn't like it, but she hasn't seen her in years. Plus, it's Nee-chan, so she wouldn't use it against her. "Yeah, I don't like the name Assassin too much. If you want to call me be another name, I don't mind. Though, I'm not sure what you should call me. I guess if you don't come up with anything... you could call me by my real name..." She stopped as Hidden did. Waiting for an answer on Hidden's query, she wondered if it was just best to let the woman use her real name. Kaya wasn't such a bad name. The caretaker said it meant peace or pure, which sounded nice in her head anyways.

"If I tell you my real name, would you be willing to tell me yours?" She did say that they were a mix of her first and last name. Maybe she could figure it out on her own if she was lucky.

  10. "I don't care if your name is cool or not, I just like being with you." She mumbled out quietly but still loud enough for Hidden to hear her. "I bet you think I was trying to come up with a really cool and dangerous name so people would be scared of me, but really, I didn't get to choose the name upon entering the game. It was already assigned by the person who wanted the helmet thingie. I stole it from someone in the orphanage cause they were mean to me." She went silent for a moment, looking down at her feet.

"I didn't even want the name, I hate it. People get scared of me because I have that name and the only way I can wield a weapon correctly is because tiny daggers exist. Everything else that is good has to be held in two-hands and weighs a lot. It's annoying and hard to swing."

  11. The younger girl cleared her throat a bit. She didn't want to act that nervous around Hidden, but this floor had an eerie effect on her. She couldn't take it.

"As long as I have Nee-chan, I can't be too scared." She gave her an awkward smile, trying to lighten the mood for her at least. The duo traveled through the caverns of floor ten, the only thing to be heard through their conversation is the sound of the shoes clicking on the rocky floor. The silence still put her in unease, so she tried to think of something else to talk about. Looking up to the names of the party, she just remembered that Nee-chan's name is Hidden. A confused look on her face, she looks up to her roguish counterpart.

"Um, why is your name 'Hidden'?" She asked, hoping that she wouldn't yell at her for asking a dumb question.

  12. Floor 10. The spooky floor that she had come to before to find a familiar that was interesting. The air only seemed to be threatening though, so she had retreated to the second floor to find something less terrifying. Hyoh was her partner now, and she doesn't regret leaving this floor to have found the cub abandoned by it's parents.

It had been awhile since Assassin had seen Hidden, but she called her to finish these quests that involved bosses like the mean bear. She had been somewhat quiet up to this point, but Assassin was beginning to feel a little antsy with the silence and the gloomy back ground. "H-Hey, Nee-chan. What are we going to be fighting?"

She stuck close to her older sister, being sure not to cling to her like she does with Ariel and ensuring that her familiar was following suit. "I hope we finish it quickly."

  13. Assassin watched the group lay the Rhino to waste in just a single flurry of blows. It was certain that victory was inevitable for the group, but Assassin couldn't help but notice Raidou's use of a tank ability. That was the one that could draw attention of enemies. The Rhino hadn't shown any area of attack damage yet either, so she would be absolutely safe to jump in and help.

A grinding of steel under her cloak rang over the sound of the crowd. The powerful hum of her intensely red weapon  was music to her ears. She was about to unleash something insanely devastating - no going back now.

A blur of black and a streak of red moved through the other three players. A mad dash of ultra-speed in the form of a child slashed the rhino from every direction, leaving red marks all over it's tough hide. Once her attack was finished, she returned to her sister's side and smiled. "I-I can help!"

  14. Assassin nodded to her superior and gave her a smile. "Yeah, this'll be fun!" She was almost always in a hyperactive mood around Ariel or Hidden. The two of them kept her constant was for attention fulfilled as long as she came with them. Sitting down on the edge of pier looking down into the water, the scars that lined her face didn't even seem to bother her.

"You're trying to fish up some big monster out of the lake right?" She asked looking at the duo of other player behind her who seemed to be setting up the fishing gear. "Can I help you beat it up? If I help I'll get stronger and be able to help Nee-chan more when she fights!" She had noticed that Ariel was feeling less vibrant than she usually was, so she was making her best attempt to help her feel better, even if she didn't know she was doing it.

"Oh hey!" Assassin remember something important. "Nee-chan! I have someone you need to meet!" Placing her fingers to her mouth, the girl lets out a loud whistle and her feline follower comes from the bushes. Hyoh brushes up to Assassin and lays next to her looking up at Ariel. "This is Hyoh! She's my pet like you have for Kimba!"

  15. Assassin piped up, trying not to eat sand flying sand. "The skill makes it so that you don't take damage from environmental effects like this sand storm and it increases your health regeneration while you're not fighting. It barely costs any skill points, and it takes up an extra slot instead of a regular skill slot."

Assassin was still waking up so she let a bit of her unbridled personality show. The facade of being an innocent child was natural to her, but even she let it skip sometimes. Soon, the view of a cart came through the cloud of sand ahead of them. The cargo was located. "Here it is!" She said running a head and diving through the contents of the cart to find something. The item she found was a package that was simply marked as 'Delivery'. "Well, since we have this stupid box now, can we get out of this sand. It's getting really annoying, and hot."

    image.png

  16. Once the group had entered the arena, Assassin grabbed Hidden's hand and smiled up the woman. Her glowing emerald eyes showed promise to her older sister. "Good luck Nee-san. Please don't let the meanie beat you up." And with that, she released her hand and set up a hiding spot the best she could against the wall of the colosseum. There really wasn't anywhere to hide, but as long as she stayed away from the combat, she would be entirely fine.

What came out of the other end of the arena wasn't what she expected. Normally one would see lion in these types of dueling arena's but it looks like this one was eccentric. Assassin watched intently. She was eager to see Hidden fight again after watching her completely destroy the bear that they had fought without a problem. Hopefully the other two would be able to help her though, if she needed it.

  17. Assassin, who was still struggling to get up herself, jumped at Ariel's response to their other duo who had wanted to get a move on the same as her. Assassin wasn't very fond of spats like this, even if they were just a little more than light jabs between the two, she didn't like confrontation like this. The girl crawled back on to her sleeping bag, waiting for Ariel to wake up so that they could start getting dressed and ready.

Once everything was done, Assassin left the tent and sighed. That wasn't the most relieving sleep that she had ever gotten, but she could deal with it. "Morning," The child said to the rest of the group, stretching out her back and yawning. The smell of eggs caught her nose and now she was really starting to feel the hunger. She took a seat by the fire and watched the eggs intently, waiting for her share of them.

    image.png

  18. The girl stuck close to her older sister. She didn't want the other two to be close to her unless they tried something, but Hidden seemed to assuage her fears enough to stand without clinging to her. The way she made it sound was as if she could beat up the sneaky boy at her level. That would be fun to do. Maybe after they killed the boss, she could try it.

When Hidden teased her about riding on the back of bosses, she pouted a little. "Aw, come on, that was fun..." She stopped there in fear of bring up any past mistakes, but was fine after she received the momentary affect of Hidden's hand ruffling her hair. She smiled and blushed slightly, trying not to interrupt the adult's conversation. "I'll just hide in the corner from the meanie! It's super easy for me to hide since I'm so small!"

  19. As Crozeph turned around, he was met with the unfamiliar and scarred face of a child. She seemed to have moved over to him after being told not to engage the boss. "Hi Mister! Why are you sneaking around where Nee-san is?" Assassin looked back over to Hidden and yelled. "Hey, Nee-san! There's a guy sneaking around watching us over here!" She ran back over to Hidden, who was likely checking a message. Once they settled their dispute, however, Assassin reassessed what Hidden had told her. It was just like the bear. She would have to sit and watch.

"Don't worry, Nee-san. I wont do anything dangerous. I promise." Assassin gave her a grin. She knew better than to make Hidden mad. When she gets mad, she really gets angry. Anyone that invoked her wrath would be a total idiot to do so. "I'll just stand to the side and watch you fight, cause you fight really awesome."

  20. A slow one to wake, Assassin was met with Ariel's face much more close than she expected. Her eyes were closed and she seemed relaxed enough to be a sleep. Assassin quickly scoot back a few inches to get some breathing room. Had Ariel pulled her close when she moved her into the tent, or did she move close to her during her sleep? She would never know, well unless Ariel told her when she woke up.

Seeing as how they ate before they went to bed, the Assassin couldn't really complain about her half empty stomach. She got up from her seat, letting the make shift sleeping bag fall into her lap quietly and stretched her back out. They weren't that far out of the location that she had marked on the map, so it wouldn't take them much longer to find the shipment. Luckily, they hadn't taken any damage throughout the night when they were sleeping, so that was lucky. However, they would need to get started soon so they could leave this hot desert already. The silver haired girl scoot over to Ariel again on her knees and gave her a gentle shake. "Nee-chan? Nee-chan? We need to get moving soon."

    image.png

  21. As the evening falls into night, Assassin can feel her weariness catching up with her sooner than expected. She watched Ariel construct a tent for them in mere minutes with her master tailoring skill. She herself was thinking that it might be useful to get a skill like that of her own, but she had yet to commit. After the group had something to eat, Assassin herself was starting to fall into a lull of drowsiness. Several times she nearly nods off sitting up.

She let's out a loud yawn for the entire group to hear and crawled down to her side, almost falling asleep right there. The fire made it easy for her to feel warm enough to fall asleep right where she was. Sooner or later, she closed her her eyes right there and started falling asleep right where she was. Her cloak acting as her blanket, she laid there quietly with nothing to be heard but soft breaths.

  22. Assassin looked over to her side and saw a bunch of fruits that were up in the tree. They were tagged with materials like the herbs were so she would be able to use them for her friend here, who was already climbing back down the tree.

Getting down was a challenge compared to getting up. Assassin struggled constantly having to look down and make sure that she wasn't going to slip on a branch or break a weak one and fall from the tree. Once she finally made it down to the bottom, Akio was ready to move on to teaching her more about how to preform the climbing more quickly.

"Oh we're jumping right into it? Okay then, let's go! Don't worry if I fall or anything. I will be alright. I've tripped a bunch while running full speed, but that's how we get tougher and better at the things we do!"

    image.png

    Materials Found: 5

  23. Assassin was distracted with finding the shipment that was lost on the way to the settlement. She almost missed the conversation that the others were having. It was starting to get darker already. Visibility was getting even worse and she was beginning to think that they really would be sleeping in the sand. Taking another quick look around, she finds a rocky outcropping in the sand that juts out taller than them. "Let's check that out." She says, pointing towards the structure. She quickly moves over to it, stepping on the rocks and looking at their jutting forms.

After a moment of walking around, she fails to see the dip that the rocks made, hiding a small rocky crag. The girl screams until she hits the ground just ten feet below her. The sand puffs out around her as she lands. "Oof- Oh, hey! There's a small cave down here! We could stay down here for the night so the sand doesn't bug us!"

    image.png

    No damage.

  24. The girl took hold of the umbrella, allowing Ariel to finally walk straight without nearly being pulled to the ground by the girl who refused to leave her side. She held it out in front of her momentarily to spin it in her hands, trying to take her mind off the event around them while Ariel had a serious conversation with the man they had walked up to. She honestly didn't have much interest in being here, but Ariel was someone that she followed around like a lost puppy these days. She made it easy to move forward without being scared of getting stomped on.

She would have been completely fine to interact with absolutely nobody this entire visit. She had only felt like a guest of Ariel's so she was too afraid to do anything in fear of someone getting mad at her Nee-chan, and cause crowds or random people could make anyone feel somewhat nervous. Even @Shield, one of the few faces she recalled but couldn't recall a name for had greeted her, reached her eye level to give her a welcome, but she could see how forced it was. Deceit wasn't something you could get past her, though she would never show her knowledge to anyone.

Nerves did come soon when a player she didn't recognize with sleek, beautiful hair and a stunning kimono bent down to greet herself. A smile was followed with such greeting. @Cordelia seemed to be attempting to assuage the child's fear of larger crowds, and it was actually somewhat helping. "H-Hi. I'm Assassin." Another time she let her mouth work before her brain. She probably shouldn't have used that name around a bunch of high level players who might get the wrong idea. Once their hand shake had ended, the tiny girl moved to the other side of Ariel, almost bumping into @Baldur in the process. She quickly shifted over and gave an apologetic bow. "S-Sorry."

After a few more moments, Ariel pulled the two of them over by a red cloaked man. Being on the outside of the crowd didn't really help her too much. The crowd itself is what made her most nervous. It wasn't that she feared anyone here, or because she had done anything wrong, she was just too nervous around groups of more than four. She took a seat on the ground for a moment, resting her feet against a wall behind her. "I-I'm sorry Nee-chan. People make me feel nervous. They all keep looking at me like I'm not supposed to be here."

When Ariel had introduced her to @Raidou, she didn't do much other than glance up at him. She was still sitting on her rear and resting her head into her knees, but she offered the man a wave. She didn't seem ready to be moving from her spot until they had to.

    @Ariel - The Crowned Lion

  25. Assassin looked down at Hyoh, who looked over to her questioningly. "Um, what do you mean? Hyoh just kind of scares off the meanies when they try to be mean to me." It was obvious that the girl was unaware of the benefits that a familiar could hold if one trained it correctly. Trying to change the conversation on to something else, Assassin smiled to her new friend and Felix.

"Can me and Hyoh hang out with you guys for a little longer? She looked like she was having a lot of fun with the kitty. Maybe they could play a little bit longer before we split up." She offered. Hyoh seemed to be enjoying that idea standing up from her sitting position and rubbing it's heavy, fluffy frame against Assassin's leg. "Plus, maybe I can thank you some how for the food you gave me. People don't really just give me stuff like that."
