  1. Assassin herself takes a seat next to her familiar with Simmone. She seemed to be done with the bento despite not finishing the entire thing. Luckily she hadn't wasted it though, most of the contents were gone. Her hand streaked through her familiar's fur, a soft cloud of fluff. With a smile, she looked up to the Lotus.

"Neko-chan it is." She simplifies it in her native language. Neko was a pretty common, easy and cute word to remember. "If you don't know very much Japanese, it just means cat." She explains, thinking that she might not be versed enough in her language to understand.

Even though her master was giving her all the necessary attention, Hyoh still seemed to be enjoying the attention that she was getting from Simmone. Though, Assassin was still her top priority, Simmone was easy to get a long with. Her affection for felines came in handy here. Maybe that was why Felix had just come out of nowhere and sit in her lap.

  2. Whosawhatnow. Assassin looked at the woman with a perplexed expression. How the heck was she supposed to remember a name like that? She couldn't even remember Nee-chan's name without having to think on it for a good second. She choked down the food and gave her an awkward smile. "uh.. I won't remember that." She put it as plainly as she could. If Simmone wanted to be adressed by anything but 'Miss' she was going to need a shorter name.

Hyoh chased the smaller cat around the market place, rather uncharacteristic of her. Hyoh is normally lazy when she doesn't have to keep up with Assassin. Seems like having a new friend would really help her get around more. Sin was a little nervous that Hyoh might accidentally crush Felix at this point if she wasn't careful though, so she kept an eye on the situation of the feline familiars.

  3. Hyoh herself had realized her mistake pretty quickly and pulled her punches for the next playful pat. She laid on her side and got comfy with her position whilst making playful jabs with the kitten. Or well, Felix was a kitten in comparison to her.

Assassin smiled as she watched the two play. It was nice to see Hyoh getting along with other animals and people. She hadn't had her long, but finding her familiar was one of the nicest things that had happened to her. "I like your familiar. He is really cute." She compliments as she stuffs her mouth with more food, marking the halfway point of her finishing the free bento. She was still making something a mess on her face, though she wiped it up somewhat quickly.

"I'm glad you were able to find something so easily as well, miss- Oh, wait, you don't even know my name." The girl thinks on it. Assassin was a less than pleasing name, so she would resort to what Ariel calls her. "You can call me Sin-chan."

  4. Assassin blinked not once, not twice, but four times as a random cat just jumped into the ladies lap. What was the luck that she would find a familiar so easily? That being said, Assassin beamed when she saw the adorable little feline she couldn't hold back her excitement. "Kitty!!" She got up from her seat and came over to pet the cat. If it  moved away from her, she would look a little upset.

Hyoh, being upset herself, moved between them however. Not liking that her master was taking a liking to any other cat than her. Assassin gave the fuzzy giant feline a hug and smiled. "You're my favorite kitty though, even more than Kimba." And with one last pet to Hyou, the girl sits back down, trying to finish off her bento box that Simmone had provided. "What are you going to name her miss?" The girl asked with a full mouth.

  5. With a little bit of effort, Assassin was able to get some sort of bearing on the food in the bento. She wasn't really the best with them, dropping food back into the box trying to pick it up, but she at least ate with some mannerisms that was likely pretty uncharacteristic. Kaya didn't really strike anyone as the curt, clean type, but she seemed to understand table manners well enough.

Munching on the food, she looked down at Hyoh who was pressuring the raven haired merchant to continue giving her well deserved attention. Assassin's ears perk when Simmone brought up potentially taking her own familiar. She quickly changed the subject. "Why don't you get your own!" Her tone comes of nervously, but not in a harsh way. "I'm sure there's a kitty waiting for you to find, they want you to take them and love them with all your heart!"

  6. The girl was glad to see that the woman's intentions weren't menacing. She came off as difficult to read so far, changing attitudes rather quick. At first, she felt like the woman was pretty intimidating but seeing as how Hyoh had warmed up to her so fast, she must be fine.

Looking at the chopsticks, Assassin's head nodded to the side. She'd seen the care taker make use of chopsticks but she had never use them herself. She could probably copy it. Taking the elegant looking chopsticks in her hand she looked over the exquisite looking bento. This food looked better than anything that she had eaten in a long time. If her mouth could water it surely would. "Thank you miss!" The girl chimes as she tries to figure out how to use the Japanese utensils. She herself was Japanese as still had trouble figuring some things out. Her mind had been solely on surviving since she reached the orphanage.

  7. Assassin looked down at her familiar. It gave her something of a docile stare, and moved forward a little, sitting just in front of Simmone. It's tail drifted over the stone in expectation of the much desired attention it was about to receive.

"Looks like she's fine with that, yeah. Go ahead. Her name is Hyou. It means leopard in Japanese. I found her alone in the wild without her parents, so I thought I should bring her along with me. I would have hated to think that if I left her there that she might end up getting hurt by some meanies." The Assassin started to eat her meal, if you could even call it that. It would be better to describe it as a snack. She watched intently to ensure that this stranger wouldn't do anything to her familiar. While she was safe in the towns, she wasn't sure if players could harm familiars or not.

  8. "I'm alright!" The girl said stabilizing herself with Simmone's hand and giving the much taller woman a smile. She checked the food that she had collected to make sure that it wasn't ruined, after ensuring it was fine, she looked back up to the Black Cat. "Sorry again. I got distracted by all the foods."

It was then that the girls pet came around the corner and moved between her and Simmone. It growled a little until Assassin pet its head with her free hand. "Come on Hyou, be nice for a change. She's not a meanie so you don't have to be mean to her." With that, the familiar stopped it's growl and returned to the child's side. "Good girl." Breaking off a piece of the food, Assassin gave the pet feline a treat for listening to her. "She can be protective, she won't bite you for no reason though, don't worry."

  9. Assassin could easily navigate these streets by now. She had lived on this floor ever since the game began, and ever since she's learned to burst her speed the way she has, she could get anywhere that she wanted with ease. The stalls that were open right now mostly served snacks of their own creation. Usually it was other players trying to improve their cooking skills. Other NPCs would sell more traditional foods and some other oddities.

Walking along the strip, Assassin attempts to find her lunch. Anything that looked sweet and wasn't too expensive would work for her. Fro some reason, it was hard to find something like that though. Looking over the stalls as she walked, she didn't even see the person in front of her. A light thud hit the dark haired woman, Assasssin fell to her back end. "Oof- Oh, sorry miss. I was n't looking where I was going." She said getting up off the ground with a spring and smile.

  10. Assassin winced upon receiving more scolding from her older sister. The girl was just trying to have fun in the first place. She didn't mean to get sucked into this event, it kind of just happened for her. As the hooded figure made her way out, Assassin followed behind her.

"N-Nee-san, wait! I'm sorry, I'll do better. I'm still learning how to keep myself alive. I know I'm not doing the best but I want to keep practicing with you." She says finally catching up to the other woman enough to slow down her speed. The child gave her a smile, trying to get on Hidden's good side again. She already knew that she was having a hard time getting used to having someone close to her, so she didn't want to push her luck to much, lest Hidden leave her behind. That was something that she definitely didn't want.

  11. "Is there more to that story?" The deep voice asked from the door as it opened. Assassin assumed that he was talking to someone else, until she saw that he was looking directly at her. "O-Oh.." She started. His eyes were scanning her for some reason, she could see it. "Um... Well, there isn't much to it really. I got myself in danger and then tank-lady helped protecting me, then a wolf bit my leg. I think if she wasn't there, I wouldn't have been able to beat it." She looked over to snow for a moment with a smile. "I don't think I ever said thank you. So... Thank you!"

Ariel's hand place lightly on her head, the Assassin looked up at her. "Klaya Areil D'soel? That's a difficult name to remember. Nee-chan is so much easier." Every once in awhile, she would look over to Shield. His eyes were analyzing her every move and she could see it. Every time she looked over to him, her focus snapped back to her food. With the constant thought of being watched, Assassin felt nothing but tense. From then on, she wouldn't take a single bite of the food she had in front of her.

  12. Assassin_Yukata_F25.png?width=571&heightThe work that went into the attire that Assassin was currently wearing was too overbearing for her, quite frankly. Working with clothing was annoying. She had to stand like a mannequin completely still so that Mari could measure her dimensions and fit cloth around her body just to get it around her size. Not even just that, after it was finished, it had taken around twenty minutes just to get the thing on. At this point, Ariel could see that Assassin was visibly frustrated with the entire ordeal. After some time though, she seemed to have cooled down and taken a liking to the outfit.

"Do I look that scary?" The Lioness asked Assassin, who really only shrugged in response. She watched the boy run off back to his position, trying to get away from the duo as quickly as possible it seemed. That was fine by her.

"Are you excited to visit the estate again? We'll get to meet some of the people from last time, and more... hopefully." That's where Assassin was fearing this trip the most. Meeting new people was fun, but big get together's like these made her shut in more than anything. Sin-chan couldn't even form a response to Ariel's question when she asked it. She didn't like too many new people at once, she had opened up to Ariel so quickly because they were the only ones around when they first met.

Unfortunately, that was exactly what was happening right now. When she had originally came to this place, she was only curious to find where Ariel was going after they separated. Now she had been roped into some meeting that she knew nothing about. Already there was more people than she could count on her fingers looking down at her and welcoming her with names that she wouldn't be able to retain with faces. As they approached to try and welcome her, she only clung closer to Ariel - The only person that was familiar to her.

The girl wasn't much one for conversation at all. Shield's face was familiar enough to her, but she couldn't remember his name, as usual. Nicknames were so much easier. Even as Ariel found her way over to try and have a private conversation, Assassin followed in with her, clinging to her older companion's kimono's lower half, ensuring that she wouldn't lose her. As she noticed the tall, brown-haired ronin, she couldn't muster much more than a wave to him. And in this entire time, Assassin was unwilling to speak to anyone that wasn't Ariel. Would Ariel prod her to speak up again? She hoped not.

  13. Tumbling to the ground from the force of a push, the joy ride that she had originally taken hold of was tromping off without her. She reached out for it as it ran away at lightning speed. "Wait! I was having fun..." She said upset with her fun being ruined. She turned over, angry at the person that had disrupted the good time. "You big meanie! I was having some fun and you-" Assassin paused as she noticed who it was that had knocked her into the grass.

"N-Nee-san?! What are you doing here?! The pig got away..." Her sad tone was interrupted by the scolding of her older sister. She covered her face and looked up at her through her fingers. "I-I was just trying to have some fun... What's wrong with that? Nothing I do here is changing anything, so..." Assassin stopped there, wondering how she could appease herself with Hidden.

    @Ariel - The Crowned Lion @Hidden

  14. The Assassin plopped down on her own bed as Hidden spoke to her. Was she really that worried about her trying to attack her? Well, if she was going to try and fight Hidden off now would a better time than any since Hidden actually can't fight back in the safe zone.

    But instead.

She took her belt of weapons and handed them over to Hidden. The three daggers jangled around in their holsters as she set them on the ground next to the cloaked figure's bed. "Move them into your inventory if you want. They're nothing special anyways." She said, moving back into her own bed and plopping her head back down into her pillow. Now she had no weapons on her person and couldn't attack anyone with anything other than her hands. With a yawn the girl began to fall asleep quickly.

"Goodnight Nee-san, see you in the morning."

  15. "We're going to do another quest tomorrow? Cool!" The girl whispered as the two of them snuck through the town, avoiding any of the guards to make sure that she wouldn't be beat up by them. Once they were at the inn, run by another player, Hidden did a lot of convincing to persuade the player into letting them stay. Soon, she was able to get the room, though, and Assassin was much more tired than she expected. When she entered the room, she let out a loud yawn and stretched her arms.

"Back to inn rooms." She mutters to herself. She had basically been living in inns at this point. Maybe soon she would have enough Col to afford her own place and she wouldn't have to worry about it any longer. And again, there was only a single bed. Did rooms with two beds even exist in Aincrad? It was a way to shill more money for parties who didn't have homes probably.

"I would argue that you should take the bed, but every time I try to do that with anyone else, they force me to sleep in the bed." She takes a moment to open her menu and switches from her armor into a large, modern looking t-shirt that came down to her shins.

  16. The warmth of Hidden's hand against her hair was a feeling the girl was coming to enjoy . Why she had taken such a liking to this affection, she would never know. She took a quick step back, giving Hidden some room in her personal space and following next to her as she walked them back to the town.

"I know you enough now to like you." Assassin said with a smile. "You were mean to me at first, but I guess I was mean to you too. So that kind of makes us even." The girls attention was drawn else where. It seemed like she had already forgotten that Hidden, no less than two hours beforehand, had threatened to murder her. The turn that she had taken though had helped her understand that Hidden didn't want to hurt her. If she really wanted to do anything bad to Assassin, she would have done it to her already. She didn't seem like the type of person to deal with bullshit.

    @Hidden

  17. Watching the agility of Akio's climbing technique, she was just as amazed as he was when she show cased her amazing speed to him. He had scaled that tree in a matter of seconds without any problems whatsoever. The girl got a bit giddy as he told her how she should approach it. More methodical, less speed. Precision over agility. Without replying, the girl took a moment to map out the route in her head. She could see what he meant now. Mapping the route made it easier to see how to go about it.

With a burst of speed, the girl rushed up the tree as quickly as she could handle without breaking any branches. She definitely wasn't as quick at it as he was, but she made it to the top on a separate branch from the boy with some effort. Looking over at him with smile, she swung her legs in the air underneath the branch she was sitting on. "How's that?"

  18. Assassin's vision went dark for a moment after Ariel covered her eyes. She moved the woman's hand out of the way and turned around to see her. "Hey Nee-chan! I found Kimba some food." The girl pointed over to Ariel's familiar, who was indulging herself in some of Snow's food. Speaking of Snow. "Oh hey, this is tank-lady!" The girl pointed over to Snow with a smile. "She protected me from a mean wasp when I was a lower level! Tank-lady, this is Nee-chan!"

The girl's introduction of the two hardly meant anything without actual names, but those were too hard to remember. Once she introduced them, she went back to eating her food. She didn't have much to say to Calrex, though she did keep an eye on him. He was looking at her with that kind of look when people first learn her username. Hopefully he wouldn't base his opinion of her on that.

  19. Assassin nods at the remark. If anyone could protect her from meanies like that bear, it would be Hidden and Ariel. The both of them were so insanely strong, not to mention how much she enjoyed the attention from the both of them. The child didn't even realize that was the reason that she liked the two so much. Either way, she wanted to make sure that she didn't have to lean on them all the time. "I will work super hard so I can protect myself! Then you won't have to worry about me so much. I want to keep getting stronger so I can survive. I don't like the world outside of this one that much, but I definitely don't want to die. I'm glad I got to meet someone like you Nee-san!"

Without thinking the girl threw her arms around Hidden, in attempt to give her a hug. Once she remember the reaction that she had gotten from the first time she clung on to her, she instantly let go of Hidden, however. "O-Oh, sorry."

  20. Assassin just shrugged. She hadn't done anything for him that merit him doing something in return for her. She had only quested with him to gain the experience, likely he was fine with the same. It was mutual gain for both parties and not really much more. Frankly, she liked it to stay that way with most people.

"You don't really owe me anything, if that's what you mean." She said biting into the food she still had. "We both got benefit out of fighting together, so I don't really think you should give me anything. I don't want people to think that they owe me debts or anything like that. It would be too stressful." The girl said looking up at him. The blade was interesting. It didn't look like anything she had ever seen. But she could feel that it was special like Nee-chan and Nee-sans' weapons. She wondered what it would be capable of.

  21. "Um..." The girl had only just woken up, so her thought process was still coming back from it's fuzziness. "Well, first there's Nee-chan. She's one of the strongest people you can meet in the world. She helps clear the floors and stuff. Then there was tank-lady. She was a little bit higher level than me, though I think I'm catching up with her on that. I also met someone who kind of scared me when I first met them but then they protected me from a big mean bear." If there was anyone else, it wasn't so much that she had forgotten about them, it was more that she wasn't awake enough to remember to bring them up. Those three had some of the biggest impact on her since she started to level up in the game. "What about you? Has there been anyone who has helped you out since the game started?"

  22. "The floor wasn't as comfortable as the bed. I laid there expecting you to come and use it, but I must have crawled into the bed sometime when I was half asleep." She explained, taking a bit of her breakfast. She seemed like she was in a much better mood opposed to how she was feeling yesterday. It was a wonder what sleep could do for someone's attitude, even in a digital video game where most basic functions were null.

"I've already done that quest that you said you were going to do and I know that you're pretty close to out leveling it, so once you've done that and finished it, I wouldn't mind meeting up to do more quests again. You're an interesting person to be around." Assassin didn't really mean for that sentence to come off as an insult. It came from more of the child like understanding that she had on some things.

  23. The morning came more quickly than she had expected. At some point, she realized that Freyd wasn't coming to the room that she had, and she must have crawled into the bed half asleep to get more comfortable, though it was fuzzy. Assassin was a slow one to wake up. The sun peered through the curtains of the window that strained her vision for some time before she could find herself out of the bed. Once she finally did, she changed into her common clothes and went to go see if Freyd was still around. He probably went on with his own works. He did say he wanted to get that quest done that she had already finished herself with Nee-chan. Maybe he had gone to do that.

Well, she was wrong. He was sleeping at one of the tavern's tables. Just like Snow had when she forced her to sleep in the bed. The girl sighed. She was young, but she definitely didn't enjoy the feeling of being treated like a child. She went up to the bar and ordered something to eat for the both of them and sat down at the table across from him. Her head rested in her arms while she waited to be served.

  24. The information dump was overwhelming to the Assassin. She couldn't begin to take all that into play without it being slowed down, or at least shown in practice. Thankfully, his diagram helped her understand the risks of parkour and how it could be potentially fatal. She definitely was going to try anything stupid with it, but she would do her best to improve upon the knowledge she had been given.

"That doesn't sound too difficult, it's the same with running! You have to know where you are going and what obstacles are bound to cause you to trip." Trying to put his knowledge into play, she kicks herself into a tree and tried to climb it as fast as possible. As she is making her way up though, she grabs a weak branch. It snaps the moment that she grabs hold of it and meets her at the ground. She takes a little bit of falling damage, but looks fine. Not to mention the materials that had fallen out of the tree with her. "Oh hey, I almost had it!"

  25. Too worn out to really put up much of an argument that she could pay for her own room. She watched him walk over to his seat at a table and look over his menu. Assassin herself would go and find the room with the matching key. All of this questing in one day was enough to make her pass out instantly. Upon entering the room, she noticed that, once again, there wasn't a single inn in this entire game that had two bed rooms. If they did it would always be taken for the night already. Sighing quietly, she wondered if Freyd would act the same way that Snow and Ariel had when she tried to sleep on the floor. He wasn't up in the room like they were. If he even planned to use the same room as her that was.

Quickly, she changed out of her armor and into the large t-shirt she normally wore to sleep that covered her body like a long dress, passing further than her knees and almost scraping against the floor. She laid down on the soft rug that was over the inn floor and quickly fell into a deep slumber there.
