Shiina 0 Posted yesterday at 01:02 AM #81 Share Posted yesterday at 01:02 AM "Of course it is." Shiina remarks without a whole lot of context to what she was responding to, bobbing her head from left to right in time with CC's playing and staring intently at the stage and all of the festive streaks of color. "OH your violin? Right, its pretty messed up right?" The songstress responds quizzically to Miki as if she knew more then she let on. "The names Mochi, Shiina. Yeah like the food. I know its weird but tough tiddies." The girl cackles wildly and presents a hand to shake. The music amplifies as the girl laughs, causing one of CC's amps to blow and send a spray of sparks and the lights to fall dim. "Oops, my bad." Shiina remarks scratching the back of her head, turning toward the reader of this post and whispering beneath her breath. Cupping her mouth with her hand. "What?, it wasn't on purpose. Go read Lessa and Jomei or watch Sinnamon getting frisked by a cactus you gooners instead of judging me with your eyes." Turning back to look at Miki, the girl smiles wide. "So if you want to find your violin." Shiina becomes silent, nodding every so often and tilting her head. "Got it." she remarks to the cave, holding her arm out and presenting a pair of devil horns to CC still trying to figure out how her machine blew. "Rock on dude. Anyway, ahem." Shiina remarks clearing her throat and becoming dead serious. "Where a spire of time was lost but is a stage, where tired memories and old instruments have been reduced to ruin from age. Under a myriad of prancing petals in the lands between, where all truths are made real and no lie can be seen. That is where the strings of silver have been renewed." Shiina finishes the speech, the light on her eyes fades as she shuts them. "Whatever that means, amirite?" @Miki @CC
Miki 0 Posted yesterday at 01:10 AM #82 Share Posted yesterday at 01:10 AM The girl comments on her violin like she knew what happened to the one she originally had. How could she though, Miki didn't know this girl. "Ooo I love Mochi. The strawberry one is my favorite, I like your name Shiina. It has a nice ring to it." They would both laugh and Miki would jump a bit when the amp blows up on stage. "How the heck?" questioning but then slowly looks to Shiina with a brow raised. This girl knew things that she shouldn't, there was something about her. The girl would speak again about her violin and finding it. This is when Shiina froze but was nodding like she was responding to someone or something that couldn't be seen by the naked eye. Seeing the girls eyes switch and her voice change and speak in a different tone that didn't even sound like it should of came out of the girls mouth. When the girls eyes shift back and her voice normalized like whatever happened was normal. "Okay, hold on, wait a minute." She flops backward on her butt and leans against the cavern wall but continue to look at Shiina. "You can talk to ghost? Somehow you make object burst with your laughter and you know things about me that I have not told anyone but my mother." She would start naming of all the crazy but was it actually that crazy? She hadn't even said her name since she had come into the game so how did she know this. "Are you like a fortune teller or something?" She knew that those existed but wasn't sure if she believed in it. "Who are you Mochi, Shiina?" She was honestly asking because she needed something. "Also yes, that statement didn't give me any headwind on where to find my violin if it is even in the game." Miki was genuinely confused.
CC 0 Posted yesterday at 02:48 AM #83 Share Posted yesterday at 02:48 AM Playing away with her strange captive audience and yet she felt like the captee here. Who these girls were was quite the curious question, given they seemed to arrive out of nowhere and she wasn't exactly in the middle of a busy street. Song after song concludes and every so often Candice can pick out one of them in the dark, actually seeming to enjoy the music wholeheartedly. It was as endearing as it was creepy. Half way through another verse, the amplifier behind her on her right begins to spark and burst in a loud boom. All she can make out with her ears ringing is the faintest hum. "The hell was that?" CC extrudes in a sharp bite, in all her time as a professional musician she'd never had an amp burst at such a low volume and usually there was some warning. This thing seemed to just dial straight up to 11 with distortion and get overloaded, but she hadn't touched any dial or stepped on any pedals. The fuck? Candy presses the guitar into the stand after tucking her head through its strap, leaning it against the back and tracing the line for some break or ground in the cable. Nope, there wasn't any fault. It causes her focus to fall on the amp itself. Her hands begin to run down its length and trace the spots where it blew up, and the damage mirrored when it was pushed too hard. In the back as her hearing was starting to come back, she is caught by a phrase from the dark. The volume carried and in it she heard some strange vibration, like an echo impossibly large. The cavern itself felt more alive, the howl within it more vibrant and audible like a creature breathing in her ear. Holding her head CC moves toward the stage, shaking it back and forth trying to find some ground in reality. Picking up her guitar, the strings make sound despite the lightest touch. Out of nowhere her instrument roars ablaze in color like it had a mind of its own. A girl that had been running on autopilot had a prompt scream into view on a HUD she barely paid any attention to causing her eyes to become wide and addled: <<Virtuoso Dynamo: Ringing Dischord>> Unlocked. "What the actual fuck is happening!?" Candice shrieks shocked and a little scared, having done nothing. "Rock on Dude" @Miki @Shiina
Lynn 0 Posted yesterday at 02:48 AM #84 Share Posted yesterday at 02:48 AM "Yeah, I guess... Haha." The fake laugh really had her deciding if she could get away with strangling Eruda in some back alley. Its not like she wasn't wearing decent boots or whatever, this place just sucked. Big time sucked. "What gave it away?" Lynn comments after a sigh of relief now that Eruda was taking on the burden, allowing her to get her damn foot out of the mud. "Maybe, I gotta say...you're pretty cool. Strong too, obviously. Thanks for showing me around." The girl was about as friendly as one could be, practicing a decent amount of faux appreciation that was very well masked as honest. Trudging along behind Eruda a bit begrudgingly mostly just along for the ride and to pull a new friend and ally. "Last delivery for the day?" the blonde asks quizzically of her travel companion, trying to rationalize the statement to logic. "You did this more then one time? More then once a week?" God was she a glorified delivery boy or something, why would anyone willingly do this more then once? A hand escapes Eruda and moves to tap Lynn. "Oh, its great to meet you Elda. I'm a...." how could she sound cooler then she was, This chick was obviously some sort of bad ass high level, only seemed fitting to try and impress her. "Helios." Clasping the other blondes hand in her own, she gives it a single hardy shake but fuck if the other girls grip wasn't tight enough to break her fingers. High levels are scary people, don't even realize how over the hill they were. Lynn focused on what she could on her map, trying to learn directions or whatever gamers did. It wasn't really clicking but, yep it sure was a map in the corner of her screen. it existed. @Eruda
Eruda 0 Posted yesterday at 03:15 AM #85 Share Posted yesterday at 03:15 AM Walking into one of the settlements looking back as she hears the slush of the woman getting unstuck. She would smile as she complements her. "Thanks, you are pretty cool in by book too." Not a murderous freak, check. Not an ass hole, check. Decent company, check. Pushing a door to a building open with her back, entering with a turn and a friendly greeting. Setting the crates down on the counter top and taking something from the shop keeps hand with a nod. "Uh yea, usually about five a day. Sometimes its just a few items that shop keepers have requested. Other times it's crates of goods that they need, typically twice a week depending on the product." It was a little much to understand but truth in the words. "You want to grab a drink?" Eruda would ask as she finds that she is still follow. She would smile at the introduction, more so that there was a pause when the name was said. That meant two things to her, it was not a real name or like her, it was only a half truth. Eruda didn't trust new people easily so giving the name Elda wasn't a lie because it was real but at the same time it couldn't be tracked because it wasn't her user name. Opening another door but this time for of tables. She wasn't going to eat anything because she would soon eat with Rai but she still had a little time. She wanted to wait for the rain to ease up before she started heading back. Eruda would order green tea. The woman orders Boba and they talk a bit more just hanging out for a bit. Time would pass and the rain had finally stopped. She would say their good bye's after Eruda had shown the girl to the warp gate.
Illisandra 0 Posted yesterday at 04:14 AM #86 Share Posted yesterday at 04:14 AM "Could have fooled me, creeping around basically tip toeing. A little closer and I could have lopped your head off." Scanning the chick she takes note of the weird clothing choice mixed with a scythe. "Still a pretty weird place to try and pick fruit or whatever." Illi sized her up, checking for telltale signs this was some sort of demon or specter trying to get one up on her, but every sign pointed to a living breathing human girl. The way her eyes focused, the way her chest rose and fall, the way the grass folded with her stance as she adjusted. The smell of foodstuff lingering on her person, all of it reeked of real. The white colored chalk like rock had her attention, even though her words were flowing pretty simply toward the blonde. "I gotta..." She points and starts to follow the trail of white stones, and absolute chaos breaks out while her back is turned. Illisandra only catches the ass end of whatever had occured, and the left over image of a bee now brutally carved into two pieces for some damn reason. "Little much don't you think? You get a kick out of punching leaves too?" A sour twist of her nose, she'd huff and catch the slightest tinge of sulfur. "You smell that? Huh..." Another glance toward Freyja has her dismiss the girl, she probably had zero clue the significance. It just went to show that although they both used scythes the modus to how they functioned and their knowledge was drastically different. The long purple pigtails sway as she starts to trace source of the scent, actively huffing the air and it dawns on her after a bit. The source was Freyja "Why do you smell like sulfur and brimstone? Talk. Out with it" @Freya
Freya 0 Posted yesterday at 04:15 AM #87 Share Posted yesterday at 04:15 AM The mist completely fades as she approaches the girl. Would she attack leaves, a slight twist of her head as she thinks a moment. "Under the circumstance that the leaves started moving by themselves then yea." In that case it usually meant the one, there was something invisible traveling through or two, someone was watching her and she had to acted quickly for her sake. "I smell a lot, you gonna have to be a little more specific than" sentence drops as the woman huffs the air and looks directly at her. "I smell like what?" she mentioned that brimstone again. Thinking back about what she had said earlier and seen this woman doing. Did this girl actually believe in things that went bump in the night, how far did it go. Sitting on a rock near by, her expression shifted into something that most would see as sadness but for her it was acceptance. "I never believed in all that paranormal stuff before coming into the game. If I'm being honest I still don't understand it fully." A dead brother of a friend that saved another while they were still alive. Because he died he was there to save her ass. If he was not there she would not be standing here today, all while being linked with Nisahime and whatever she is. For he it was blind faith, she owed this woman her life. "All I can say is I have a guardian angel and it is not my story to tell. If you want to know more you will have to talk to a friend of mine." It was almost like she was caught red handed by how could she begin to try explaining something that she didn't understand herself. She would sit there waiting for this woman to respond, she was unsure what more she could say. All she knew was it was nothing but her truth, part of it at least.
Majineko 0 Posted 9 hours ago #88 Share Posted 9 hours ago Lucia wiggles and bends abruptly with every stroke of her ears and tail, causing her nervous system to jerk with odd sensation. Some pleasant, others not so much. The fish the girl had collected was finally made still with a sharp nail and rake of bladed fingers. Like a filet its shaved into slices with section of scaly hide peeled off. The boiling skin of a freshly caught flounder had her huffing the air. "You're an artist? Was that got to dnyu with fyud?" She perks with half a lump of fish flesh flipping out of her mouth, a scale caught in her left canine. The chocolate cat girl couldn't quite make the connection what a person who draws had with someone who was cooking food or whatever. those two things were hardly related. Unless of course she was drawing pictures with like frosting or something. Did that count? As the girl started gathering components for a campfire and getting it set up it really threw Lucia through a loop. Just who the hell was this person, Rambo? That guy from Taken with a particular set of skills. Was everyone in Aincrad so masterful at everything? As if they tripped and fell out of some perfect reality and had ended up here where normal people were. It kind of wasn't fair. The girl expressed all the nuanced thoughts the same way she had when the heavens spoke to her about a week ago. "Nyah? You pretty good at a lot of stuff, not me." she expressed in a chirp toward Enya happily, the deeper thoughts being buried by something more surface dominant that quickly scrubbed it away.. @Enya
Enya 0 Posted 7 hours ago #89 Share Posted 7 hours ago "I guess it has nothing to do with food but one of the way I keep tabs on what I make is I draw them." She had two drawing pads. One that she kept in her kitchen and the other she kept on her person just in case something inspirational crossed her path. Taking out a small knife she would scrape the scales off the fish as she spun the stick that the fish was on with the other. "Are you kidding me, catching that amount of fish just now was pure talent if I ever saw it. It would take me much longer to catch just one with a fishing pole put you caught three in seconds." A surprised expression toward to cat girl that she would even think she wasn't good at things. "I would say I'm good at a lot of stuff. I read so I know things but being good at anything is a far leap from that." Thinking a moment, in the short time that she has known this girl, she was nothing but impressive. "I know a few things that you are good at. Being a friend and having fun. To be honest there is nothing better than that in my book" saying as she opened her HUD and sent the cat girl a friend request. This cat girl is a lot like she use to be, fun. She wanted to get back there. Enjoying being in this game just as much as she did. "I can see us being great friends in the very near future. My name is Enya" she would say with a wide smile as she took the fish off the heat. While the both ate Enya would show the cat girl her drawings in the pad that she did have with her. For the first time in a while, she was having actual fun.
Mirianna 1 Posted 7 hours ago #90 Share Posted 7 hours ago The woman palms the key given by Shayla like a good little pet, turning it over to inspect it. A brass and old looking key, easily mirrored the lock it was designed to go into. The list unfurled, she turns it over to a glance on both sides of the slip of paper. "Aren't you cute? And why would I tell you that? It doesn't really matter what I do, or my reasons for doing them. At least to you. But I must admit I thought we were going to have a misunderstanding. Glad that you decided to see things my way." Mirianna snapped coolly before moving to the altar to claim her prize from its hidden compartment. The key slides into the tumbler, turning with a heavy click that causes the ground to begin to rumble. Descending dust drops from seams that begin to open, the top revealing an inner most frame as it slides open upward. Inside that box is a singular felt pillow and its outlined with glass, like a display case. Centered inside is a small unassuming goblet on a pedestal. "There it is." Mirianna expresses wistfully, a drawn out gasp shows her appreciation. A success claimed quite easily, and the recovery effort not in vain. Her finger extends as she raises her hand from her waist, pointing toward the device. Her fingernail converts into a long razor like blade of ice, and with a press against the glass its punched through and shatters into a million little pieces. Leaning forward she snags the cup and turns it around to inspect it, comparing it to accounts and records she'd read in regards to it. But what it was wouldn't be shared, and where it would end up wouldn't be either. The cup would remain an enigma to everyone but her and those it was destined to end up with. Without a word, Mirianna leaves Shayla where she stands but at least she would leave this church in one piece. @Shayla
Shayla 0 Posted 6 hours ago #91 Share Posted 6 hours ago Sitting in one of the benches that seemed a bit dusty, but it wasn't as bad as out there. Taking a deep breath, the plan was ruined. "I miss you papa and ma" saying in a accent. Her mother Nadia raised her and taught her how to speak Russian and home schooled her because they traveled to different bases to many times to count. Her father gave her a little tough love and showed her how to fight from a young again. Yea it wasn't an ideal childhood but it was hers. She had nothing here, if she could just back something that even resembled close to what she had, maybe she would be okay. Messing with something on her wrist, a charm bracelet. It had a charm for every country they traveled to as a family. Taking a deep breath, she couldn't give up, she needed this. She just needed to find the right loop hole to worm her way into. Someone would see value in her, her father did. Getting up from where she sat, walking out of the building looking around outside. Sometime between her entering and now it started raining, how unfortunate. She needed a new plan or at the very least and new target, where to get that was the question. She would head north, starting at the end of the list on the parchment. Maybe she would run into someone else that she could play nice with. Arriving at a building, the door was on the ground and from the looks of the damage it was broken from the inside outward. Seeing a staircase to the right and a large pile of stuff in the middle of the room, someone was already here. That is another spot that she could mark off the list. She would go through everything closely to see if anything that was left could be used. Finding a few thing of worth but not value, she would put the stuff in a bag and head upstairs. Walking into one of the rooms, moving the bed to look and the door and shutting it. Pushing a chair under the handle, if anyone trying to get in she would hear and be able to figure out her next move from there. Closing the blinds and laying on the bed, she would get some shut eye while she waited for the storm outside to stop going through a depressive rage.
Rosaria 0 Posted 6 hours ago #92 Share Posted 6 hours ago Milling about in her own space, being almost worshiped for even the smallest smile or slightest giggle. It would be clear through a slip of a strap or a slight lift of her skirt that she had quite the number on a mental leash. It was no surprise how easy it was when one knew how to abuse how hot she was, and use such attraction as a form of bait. Like a gaggle of drooling monkey's dancing around the worlds largest banana, she is bought drinks and fawned over from afar and every honeyed word leads more to become trapped in that web. Taking her pick of a few of the many that had made offers, Rosaria takes direct hold with hooks in those that rung back the strongest. Unique looking armors, or different boasts, their appearances set them apart and made them targets. What equated to 3 players that looked quite tough, that were encouraging a drunk looking woman to party with them. Past the bar counter, held on the arm of one Rosaria cannot help but steal a glance at Kodo. The dumbstruck look of bewilderment and flushed redness on his face showed full well the way he swung even if it wasn't something he even noticed. No wonder, kids an idiot and doesn't even know what he fancies. Some hotshot.... The thought races through her head as the group of 4 make it to the door. What follows in the next few hours is a gaggle of three, being hoodwinked and stripped down to their skivvies, left to be captured and chained. Those same players would end up in an unknown location in Tartarus surrounded by mooks o plenty and passed to wardens. Where Genma would break them to pieces, either mentally or physically. Meanwhile Rosaria would end up on floor 7, repeating her trade at another bar and catching more mice for the kill. @Kodo
Kodo 0 Posted 6 hours ago #93 Share Posted 6 hours ago The man on the counter took another sit of Kodo's glass. He swallows hard unable to move his eyes off this guy. Tan skin, masculine, short black hair that was combed to the right. It looked like he used hair gel to keep it in place. "I'm sorry I'm" clearing his throat trying to speak. The man would chuckle as he would see Kodo Fluster. "You are kinda cute. I am off in an hour if you want to stick around. Maybe then we could get better acquainted." The man would give him a smile as he would take one more sip of his drink and walk off to the other side of the building, still behind the counter. Taking orders and sending orders off to the waitresses that came to the counter. At the corner of his vision he would see that pink haired female walk out with three men, it would seem that she was irresistible to most. Good on her, at least she had an idea how to pick people up. He had not the first clue. If he was being honest he was unsure what this mystery man behind the counter was intending from him. Was he looking to >Hook up< or just get to know him. For all he knew this person could be a killer or something. He was not into one night stands. If he were to stay and talk with this man he would have to understand that. He wasn't even sure that he wanted a relationship but this was all new territory for him. Glancing back to the man he was cleaning a cup with a microfiber cloth. They would both sneak a glance at one another, Kodo would turn away swiftly as he could feel his cheek get hot. Taking a heavy breath looking down at the food. He wanted to know what was going to happen next, god only knows that he would never be able to predict it. He would finish his drink quickly and start munching down on the food that sat in front of him. He was going to wait.
Celeste 1 Posted 5 hours ago #94 Share Posted 5 hours ago As the azure flames remained a vibrant rush of heat, the shadows cast leave both women to be cast in odd lighting with such color at their fronts. "You might be right, I don't fucking know." Her arms remain crossed as the fire raged, keeping alive for longer then most normally would. There might have been some sort of accelerant or it might have had something to do to the obtuse nature of Celeste's brand of fire. "Relations? You mean fucking?" Celeste picked apart the statement about as tactfully as hitting a watermelon with a sledgehammer. The woman cannot help but bust out laughing when it dawns on her that Mari had bright orange hair. "You know, when someone says fire crotch they didn't mean.... Nah, won't judge. Can't say I cant appreciate a little kinky shit myself." Celeste offers a shrug, dismissing the thought as she wasn't entirely interested into digging into her love life with a woman she met all about 15 minutes ago. "You think it survived?" Celeste asked after another couple minutes, not really knowing when the fire would die out either. Her eyes glance over to receive a response but manage to catch Mari playing with the flames, poking at it and eying them curiously. "Copper Sulfate? I don't know what that is. Sounds nerdy." The woman offered with a dismissive wave of her hand, half listening. "Oh, its a skill sorta, or an item? fuck if I know. Got it from Gabrandr, that raid boss on floor 26. Long story, but its not really normal flames. If it wants to burn something it will, and it is short lived but fucking real hot. Also I cant be burned by it like at all, good thing to. Given it just likes to go off at fucking random right on top of me. How it works, well you'd have to ask the former king of Galtea for the answer to that. He called them 'The flames of the father.' and its a result of my inheritance of the armiger and the crown. Yep, long winded way of saying I was given it. If you subscribe to all that shit." @Mari
Mari 1 Posted 5 hours ago #95 Share Posted 5 hours ago (edited) "I guess its a little nerdy." Mari said, placing emphasis on the word. "It is all science, chemical reactions and the like." Mari didn't say much else on the matter, as Celeste didn't seem all too interested. That was fine. Not everyone had the same interests as she. Instead Mari intently listened. Gabrandr...a brief memory of a flame Eruda also seemed to have, it was the same colour. Mari assumed it a parlour trick. Did the other woman also have something to do with that? "Flames of the father?" Mari tilted her head. "Didn't really peg you as someone who was a frontliner...or into religious stuff." A roll of her eyes at the mention of 'father' anyone who called themself that was full of themselves. Celeste rattled off more names at Mari. something about an armiger of the crown.. a place called Galtea. "Mmm....Not really, no. I tend to not involve myself in the politics of NPCs." But maybe she should? IF this was the kind of reward you'd get. The flames began to die down, and Mari kicked at the ash covered ground. House, obliterated. "Quite potent though....I do like that...suppose its a good thing I'm fireproof." She shot the woman small smirk before she started to walk around the debris left in the fires wake. Every so often kicking at a large pile of ash. "Honestly... going off at random sounds troublesome though..." A distracted remark as she continued her search. 'Thunk' Her foot hit metal, and with a few scrapes of her shoe she revealed a trap door that had survived the fires. "I assume what you are looking for...is beneath this." Mari knelt down to lift up the door but it was sealed shut, melted by the flames. Mari sighed as she placed her hand against the metal, it erupted into a concentrated heat and burned a hole into it. As pretty as Celestes flames were...it was much better to be able to have control over things. With a hard yank Mari ripped the small door up, revealing another box made of stone. Mari picked it up and gave it a small shake. It rattled. "Hope this was what you were lookin' for." Mari stood and passed it to Celeste. "Was...interesting meeting you, but I got a date with a fire crotch." Mari would offer the woman a small salute as she turned to walk away. This floor was nasty. She was in dire need of a bath. Mari opened up her messenger to Lancaster. Mari --> Lancaster; You would not believe the day I had. @Celeste Edited 4 hours ago by Mari
Lancaster 1 Posted 5 hours ago #96 Share Posted 5 hours ago Vex was an odd one, just like the others in that little troupe of looney toons that were under Tybalt. All of them were so god damn hard to control, Lancaster couldn't help but wonder why they were even here or what the hell the lord did to control these ass clowns. Even when he was still a finger, they kind of did some approximation of what was asked of them but it was always some backwards ass interpretation of it. Like trying to hit a bullseye with a rocket launcher, you'll get it but there is going to be a shit load of collateral damage. Behind the bar counter Lancaster was already helping himself to the register, trying to keep his distance from Vex to lower of the odds he snaps and turns the dude into ashes. As much as he wanted to condemn him to a dust pan, it would spell the end of his unstable truce. Especially when it came to Tybalt. The chaotic nature of his domination of guards as they punched through the threshold proved once again to Lancaster probably the reason why they were kept around. Despite being so damn hard to control, when it came to dealing with crowds that group of asylum patients were quite efficient. Kings of the distraction. A couple expensive looking bottles ripped out of a backroom shelf, it wasn't easy locating the primo shit that was shipped around under tables and spoken in secret. His wife loved her fancy whiskeys and the sheer amount that had to be gotten through rumor and bloodshed was nearly all of them. Like expensive paintings, no one wanted to part with them willingly and frankly they were so fucking expensive it would be outside of his price range unless he could pawn off some gold bars and shit he stole. "Is all I needed, grazi." Vincent folds pressing the bottle into his stomach. "Now get bent, I will see myself away...." He taps his head with the mouth of one bottle. "And remember, if I find out you are near my wife.... I'll kill you. No threat....Is a promise, mi amico." The man kicks backward shoving open a burning door, with three slightly burnt bottles of extremely expensive alcohol tucked against his stomach. He had what he came for, and Vex had proven a good little boy. @Vex Vexxus
Vex Vexxus 1 Posted 4 hours ago #97 Share Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Oh man, Oh man Oh man....This was so amusing. The little firebug was filled with threat after threat. Just like she was. So entrenched in each other, could you imagine? I surely couldn't.... having such tethers to someone seemed like a nuisance more than anything. Most the guards were taken care of by this point; the run down mess of a place didn't hold much. So I leaned on a door frame, watching the former first finger work. "You worry far too much!" I sang out to him. The man shot me a glare in response. I straightened, and offered him a low bow. "I assure you... I don't mean to harm that lovely wife of yours." I could have...but for whatever reason, Tybalt told me no harm were to come to her. I assumed it was because the man liked the little concoctions she had managed to make. Lancaster threatened it too... Honestly...who was this woman, and why should she of all people be so....ugh...so....protected??? It made me just want to play with her all the more. But no matter. I just had to keep a distance from the woman. I just had to make sure I wouldn't hurt her. But none of them said anything about playing with her. I grinned. Ahh precious loopholes. Lancaster told me to get bent and I clapped my hands before offering him a bow, doing just as he asked. Bending myself. "Till next time, little Romeo." All that mess, for a few drinks? What a waste of potential. I straightened my jacket before turning on my heel and walking away from the carnage. Whistling as I messaged my boss. What a fun day. I wonder....what was Mari up to? Vexx --> Tybalt: Job done. Ran into the former 1st. I was a very good boy. @Lancaster Edited 3 hours ago by Vex Vexxus
Tybalt 1 Posted 4 hours ago #98 Share Posted 4 hours ago A ginger tap on his shoulder has the man peering over it, still deadlocked in the direction that sudden scream of terror. Scanning her expression, the puffed up cheeks like a chipmunk that had undergone a punk rock phase. A spit of a coin out of her mouth had him addled. The coin in his hand, he'd flick it over and scratch the side of his head with the other. Was his genius beyond even his own comprehending, first the ear and now the coin ended up in her mouth of all places. Perplexed and how that trick worked, he must have subconsciously designed something in his sleep. That was it. My brilliance is unmatched! Tricks so grand I don't even see them coming~ The thought squirreled through his dome to an audience of many. The man flicks the coin up into the air and clamps it out of the air. "Tybalt the Jester, The potentially evil not twin but possible kidney, At your service. Heads or tails?" He squirms pressing his right hand palm first into his left wrist. Waiting eagerly for the girls answer. "Oh. It's the frog." Tybalt tilts his hand up to look at the girl, finding the response odd. "Close." The man found the girls intuition to be actually intriguing. "Rabbit." He lifts his hand and a white rabbit leaps from his arm and drops into the mud, taking only a few moments to discover what things were like before quickly darting out into the woods. The thought passed through Tybalt's head and with that thought his head tilts almost unnaturally to his right side. This girl was rather unusual, somewhat in the same vein as some of his other understudies where. Leaning lower, he scans her features: Her hips her bust, her legs all the while behind that mask of his. Could it be? The man pulled a pile of cards out of his jacket pocket, a stack of serrated steel blades shaped like playing cards. "Pick a card, I wonder what you'll get?" The man was rather curious if she'd hit the mark or be another that completely fails the test. Not many could actually succeed it, and not a single one female. @Ceres
Ceres 0 Posted 4 hours ago #99 Share Posted 4 hours ago (edited) The man introduced himself. "Tybalt....the evil kidney.." Ceres repeated, trying to commit it to her memory. There were few names she remembered. Mari...for Ceres would often do odd jobs for her...Vex, because of his antics. Accy, but that was about it. This man would be hard for her to forget. Her eyes were still on the frog sitting upon a branch, just above his shoulder. But with a flourish Tybalt distracted her. "H-huh?" "Whoa!" Immediately distracted from the entire reason she was out here...a white rabbit. leapt from his arm. "How?" She asked in amazement. Leaning down as she watched the rabbit hop away. "You're...so amazing!" Ceres said in a soft awe. "If I am Alice...do I follow the white rabbit?" She looked up at him, her smile broadening. "And you! Mista Tybalt...are like the Cheshire cat." Ceres' voice was usually soft, airy - as though she wasn't entirely there- her mind half a mile away. And usually, it was - but right now. The man had somehow managed to commandeer the entirety of her attention. With another flourish Tybalt pulled out a deck of cards. "Oh!" Ceres stood, dusting off her hands by wiping them on her shirt. "Can I pick the one eyed jack?" She asked, closing one eye and pointing at her open one. "That's my favourite! Or...." She paused. "hmmm...." She heard about this once... "Most people pick...Ace of spades...but..." She would point to the card on the very top of the deck. "That one." It was more fun this way. Ceres looked up at Tybalt, eyes wide, practically smiling in delight. @Tybalt Edited 1 hour ago by Ceres
Bran 1 Posted 3 hours ago #100 Share Posted 3 hours ago The man drew that sharpening stone down the length of his tanto, casting flashes of light each time they are raked against them. A finely honed blade, one eye closes as the other inspects the edge for any knicks. Satisfied it is slid in a sheath on his back, and be begins to work on the other. All the while his eyes are locked intrinsically with Alinta's who had not broken eye contact since their arrival. For some other player killers that would be irritating, to Bran he found it actually worth applauding. Standing up he tosses the blade straight down, making it hum as it plants into the floor next to his foot in a wobbling *thung* Without warning he closes the gap, getting up in her face as he squats down in front of her meeting her eyes with his own within inches. A hand moves to the rag gagging her, and pulls it out by the loose end. "Understand that if you intend to be a whistle blower I will have to kill you. I can tell by the look in your eye, the way your fixated on me and watch me move. Most in your situation look around, try and look for an escape route or shut their eyes to stay small. You're studying me. That would be unwise." Close enough that his lips underneath the cloth mask can actually be seen moving. "What is your username? Your real name? A small price to pay for your life. If you want to leave here alive, answer." He remarks pushing off his knee, and reclaiming the knife with a tug from its insertion. The question was double ended, it would serve to show power and when the time came hunt her down if necessary. While his gaze sat hard locked on hers, resolute and commanding that other blade is sharpened time and time again in strokes like sliting a throat. As if he was practicing the deed while honing that edge to cut through flesh and bone. @Alinta
