Zelrius 0 Posted December 10, 2014 #1 Report Share Posted December 10, 2014 As of late, I seem to have REALLY Slowed down my amount of Roleplaying. When I am in parties, Though I have the time and access to post almost any time of day, I simply do not have the feel to. And when in Solo parties, Nowadays I cannot keep it going for more then 5-10 Posts. I remeber back in Janurary and Feburary when I raced up the levels and Quests in a journey to be Number one. When I was left behind by the Higher Posters, I began to simply go into extreme character development with extremely long SPs. Now, I have none of that energy. None of that Drive to Roleplay. So I am asking those of he Community to help me get it back. Anything helps. Criticize my RP skills, My character, Throw suggestions at me, whatever you believe will give a purpose to post again. Mari 1 Posted December 10, 2014 #2 Report Share Posted December 10, 2014 Maybe have a person/item/event/something that triggers Zelrius to undergo some sort of character development, say : If you find someone you think can help with that message them and bounce ideas back and forth Like - maybe someone could come along and Zelrius gets the fact taht he won't be at the top for long shoved into his face Or he has some sort of romantic fling? Maybe he is getting bored of Aincrad so debates relapsing into being a Pker or something ? Life 0 Posted December 10, 2014 #4 Report Share Posted December 10, 2014 You wont be number one if you stop roleplaying ;) You'll leave for awhile then come back wondering how everyone got so high then you won't be bothered to compete Try to form some strong bonds with players and get a rival, that will surely get your drive back Only problem is finding a good one :P PS: This doesn't only apply to roleplaying. Sometimes in life when you finally 'make it' to the top, life suddenly gets boring, they reached their goal and don't know where to go next. It human nature, once something gets too easy it becomes boring. This is why entrepreneurs surround themselves with others of their kind and why businesses strive for new goals everyday. What do you wish he could be? Then, explore ways to make this character development possible. I just did this with Lessa. She was in a funk, and I was getting tired of playing her the same way. So I was pushed by a friend to make her a more dynamic character. So you seem to play Zel as someone who is super salty, and hardly ever opens up to anyone. Why? What would happen were he to open up?
