As frustrated as Alinta was, there was a level of comfort his arm around her shoulder brought her. Alinta sighed, shifting her gaze away from Oscar. "Hmmm..." Her lips pressed to the can and she took another long drink. She didn't agree with him. Not in the slightest. "Just because they haven't drawn their weapons..." Alinta said with the resolution of someone who wouldn't change her mind. "Doesn't mean they didn't take innocent lives. Do you really think they deserve fun?" She would point out toward Vex in particular. "That man looks insane." Even with him dancing freely...there was just some

So that was it. The Orange Players. He could understand why she'd be afraid of them. Truth be told, he was rather desensitized to the whole cursor color thing. It didn't really register as a factor until Alinta visibly jumped and dashed behind him. "Why the fuck are there so many orange people here?" "They're people too," Oscar said. The irony wasn't lost on him, even if Alinta didn't have that particular context. "They haven't drawn their weapons. Be kinda stupid to do so with half the Frontlines milling about. And besides, they're just having fun. I don't really feel like people ar

“You know, I’ve seen lemons less sour. I’m gonna call it a personal failure if you don’t enjoy yourself.” Alinta shrugged, trying to regain her confident demeanor - closing her eyes and shifting away from the nearest orange cursor. "Well, consider it a personal failure then." She said with a flick of her hair over her shoulder. Serves him right for not responding to her. He had passed her another drink and Alinta glanced down, fingers fiddling with the can. Perfectly manicured and painted nails finding their way beneath the pull tap pshhst. She opened the can and took a small sip. It

"GERONIMO!" Abellio's voice rang out over the beach as he vaulted over the side of the airship railing and landed onto the sands with a thud. He had been a bit worried. Oscar trusted him with the crown jewel of this entire party. Abellio was a legendary fuck-up so he was concerned that he might not be able to place the giant crustacean just so. But his worries had been unfounded and despite never piloting an airship or operating a winch, he pulled it off. So his presence on deck was unneeded. Time to get down. As he small cloud of sand settled on his sandaled feet, he noticed a dude

@Mari to the rescue. Cool, cool. Oscar didn’t want things to melt down, so he appreciated the intervention. It was nice, really, to see such an eclectic mix of Player cursors. Greens and Oranges mixed about as well as oil and water. So of course there would be big feelings in play. Even still. “Oh, I’ve met @Ceres. I get it. Proportionate responses though. Call it a difference of opinion, but maybe we don’t sling our drinks all willy-nilly?” Oscar’s eyes shifted over to Corvo, then back to Mari. His words weren’t those of chastisement, neither were they particularly hostile. Disappointed?

[PT-PP-F1] Homicide Honeymoon Pt. 1 (SoW: Keepers of Nature)
Mari replied to Lancaster's topic in Beginner Floors
With a blink Mari's eyes flashed a soft green hue; her Night Vision in full effect. She shuffled in closer to Lancaster, wrapping an arm around his waist, staying close to him. The two hadn't really rested - opting to go on a series of quests in some form of a 'honeymoon' rather than retire for days. It just wasn't in their nature to rest. Or maybe...they couldn't. Both so wound up from prior events - both still unable to fully sleep without the fear of losing each other. The two had already tried to brute force open the door, singed outlines of where the both of them had thrown all thei -

The players were still rather smitten given they'd never done anything like this or even considered it. Both of them normally ran alone, save the odd inclusion into their affairs that was fleeting like smoke. To Lancaster it was an entirely different vibe, where he had to constantly threaten or cater to idiots. Mari was like a breath of fresh air, more then capable of pulling her weight and certainly carrying his. Scanning the rumored caverns, like a pair of treasure hunters yet neither was putting too much stock into it. It was just an excuse to enjoy one another's company. His hand raised wi

More shambling skeletons would descend upon Mari and they, much like their predecessors ended up naught but dust and fractals. Mari would twist and turn the glimmering scale in her hand. This...really was easier - granted she had to eat years old candy but...this still felt far more easier than fishing for hours on end. Not that Mari had anything against the activity, rather she enjoyed it immensely, but it just wasn't as fruitful as this was when it came to the rarer materials. Mari would pocket that too then turn to glance over the horizon. This place was as deadly as it was beautiful. There

The area around her tent was void of any activity - player or undead alike. Mari supposed she had Atan to thank for that, as dangerous as he was - to the point where her brother virtually forbade her from making contact with him. Despite that, his concoction proved incredibly useful and effective. Almost too effective. Mari had to walk a good half hour from her tent before she ran into the first group of skeletons - their beady red eyes glowing brightly in the dimly lit caverns. It meant little to her. Mari was used to this by now. Her arm moved almost without thought, the typical sword a

Floor 10 - a bioluminescent cavern she kept swearing away from but somehow always made her way back to.... The dusty treat was quickly swallowed, its not like food actually expired here, right? Probably...Mari felt fine enough at least. Then down went the potion Raidou had crafted her. Good. Everything felt better now. Mari stretched her back. This floor was one she was oh so intimately familiar with. She knew it inside and out, she knew where the nefarious players would congregate for their hidden meetings - and knew well enough to keep away. Not her clowns, not her circus. She knew th

The chaotic event left much to be desired. Jibae was here looking nearly solely for a new potential proprietor, and mingling with some of Aincrad's elite was a good way to find a promotion. That only stood if any of them were actually in need of grocery shopping or housekeeping, but the chances were not 0. However the rather unkempt and messy platforms and garbage strewn about the place had the woman almost immediately pressed to her breaking point. The tension having her snap a plastic fork in half, scanning for the nearest trash can to begin to do what none of them clearly could. Wandering b

Not too bad for her first try. Firefly was safe from that impromptu swim for now. Yue Hua’s tail came to a rest on top of Firefly’s hat, patting her gently. She sounded like she was doubting herself. Her nervous hope extinguished. Yue Hua was doing a lot of things to her that she had never wanted to. “I know. I trust your intentions are always good. You, and everyone in the guild.” Then Bistro sat down. Her interruption was welcome. But at her news, Yue Hua’s surprise was palpable. They invited another frontliner? Did they not congregate in their own specialized guilds? She swiveled
