With her dance partner quickly swinging into one lovely move, Frost seemed to enjoy herself as well, joining in the dance with the lady. Your Grace is such a weird one to pick, but to Frost, it was fitting. She did play the knight with dark history, so calling the girl Grace would be excellent for her, honestly. Yet suddenly, a man intercepted their dance way too quickly and started to just brush Frost away, without any remorse. Frost stood there for a second and didn't get to even say anything before her dance partner was just swooped away from her. Something about this man didn't feel r

Reytac blinked and looked over to the woman talking with him, raising one eyebrow as he considered not just her question, but also the way she had scrambled to justify what she’d asked. He chuckled, the sound soft, almost lost to the music that filled the air, and he leaned back against the bar as he let his eyes wander across the crowd of people around them. ”First, you don’t have to defend yourself. You're fine to ask – I’d talk about her at the drop of a hat. And age doesn’ aalways play a role in emotions – obviously you have to keep things appropriate, but – well. If you’re thinking

Ceres was still at the food table, having no real interest in dancing, and absolutely no interest in kissing or dating or anything of the like that the rest of the patrons seemed to be interested in. No, her desires were far more simple. Just enjoy herself, maybe meet new people, try to find her friend Accy - and eat good food. And wouldn't you know it, good food was right in front of her. "Hmm...." A finger tapped her lightly glossed lips. She had tried the small dumplings, the little pigs in blankets, she had eaten the more fancier things - canapes of rosemary, thyme and a variety of ch

A breeze rushed in through a window that had been cracked open. This time of year he expected chilly weather. He felt hot in this party so the breeze was welcome. People seemed to be dancing all around him. He continued to watch them, somehow feeling that if he waited long enough someone would approach him. He was feeling far too shy to go out and find someone to dance with. He thought to himself that he might just stand here all night, and he probably wouldn't be any worse for wear if he did. He took another sip from his drink against his better judgement. He felt his mind start to wande

As per usual, Sin brought up the rear. But she was fine with that. Honestly, the last person to move in a party had a heavy responsibility. They needed to be able to pivot quickly. Set the tone for round two. But, this group usually didn’t see a Round Two. And even if they did, the target would likely be shaking off a stun. So it wouldn’t be until Round Three that they would need to be able to contend with any threats. So her “setting the tone of the next round” was oftentimes hitting the fucker as hard as she could to make sure the tone was that there was no next round. And so she did ju

Warren nodded. That was certainly a novelty. A boss reviving itself mid-combat. But looking at its health now and with Sin still yet to make a move, he didn’t find himself overly concerned. Though he did expect an explosion once the bird revived itself. Something cinematic and cool, probably. Or, at least, Cardinal’s approximation of cool. Either way, it wouldn’t matter. This would end much the same way that it usually did. With the boss dead and the team with not a scratch on them. He rushed in, <<Save the Queen>> cutting a nasty gash into the bird’s flank. It was the na

Oscar followed Abellio’s lead. Equally impressed with the new addition to Lysette’s opening salvo. Such a thing would be of great use in future fights. Everyone understood the concept. That brute force was a reliable and effective way to deal with the threats in Aincrad. In truth, outside of Frontline Raids, most things fell when you applied overwhelming force. And this would be no exception. As the Phoenix fell, Oscar’s blade caught its other wing, ensuring that it wouldn’t be able to take flight and position itself outside the reach of their blades. Not that he really needed to worry a

“Is that what that thing does?” Abellio was star struck. He gazed at Lysette, wide-eyed and grinning - as she whirled out of the way of the boss. He didn’t know what it was, but seeing her pop off was always so incredibly attractive. Added to her mystique. Just another reason why he considered himself so lucky to be with her. And he would gush about it. Later. Right now he wasn’t about to waste the opening that his girlfriend had so graciously provided him. He took off like a rocket, a red blur. The force of his start broke ground, kicking up drops of magma that flowed just beneath t

Lysette took point as soon as Vitalis’s buff took effect. If she’d learned anything in their rather embarrassing fight with The Wasp Queen, it was that her set-up was absolutely crucial when it came to dealing with boss durability. This time, however, she had another trick up her sleeve. She took to the shadows, winking out of existence and appearing in front of the boss in the blink of an eye. Her weapon smashed down on the bird’s skull, poisons draining into its body. In the same instant, a massive blood-stained hook flashed into her hand. She brought it down low, swinging it up and hoo

Home stretch. It had come to Oscar’s attention - after a long conversation with Sin - that the Guild was on the precipice of maxing out. As it turned out, when the entire group showed up to take on Field Bosses, the Token rewards were off the charts. By her calculations, it would only take one more run of Suppression in order to max out their Guild Rank. Which Vitalis supposed was one of the reasons why Oscar called them out to this hellhole. Vitalis didn’t do well with the heat. And it didn’t get much hotter than standing next to a volcano’s caldera. With the group assembled, he wasted n

The smoke would be that silver grey color for a moment but then shifts to a purple. Waiting for the purple fog to clear, taking out a pair of tongs. She would gently take out the steaming hot ingot that was half black and half this deep grayish silver color like steel. Setting it on the cooling rack she would look at the man and back up so that he could take a look at it. “It is called a Phantasmal Ingot. It is a very strong metal, near indestructible. You can make something very powerful out of this.” The rabbit's foot was tossed back at her, it was not for everyone but it definitely came in -

Right then she would hear the man saying something before a yelp and a crash to the ground of what sounded like a chandelier. Glancing back the engineer man would be laying backward in the chair with glass everywhere. “See lucky” saying as she turns back to finish the molds of each ingot that she needed for the Phantasmal Ingot. After letting each one cool she would bring them all to the magic craft work bench. Tossing each one in with a small splash as clouds of smoke rise up with each ingot. Picking up the last material, the demonic metal. “Ready ya'll” saying with a grin as her eyes met eac -

Holding in her hand with a grin. “This is a Lucky Rabbit's Foot” saying as she takes a little metal piece out of her pocket. She attached it to the top of the craft with a super glue that she had also created a little while ago. “This will bring you luck. It is not like the myth or the superstitious bull shit. It is really something magical, no pun intended.” Eyes veer to her right to look at the man that she was trying to or supposed to be impressing. Tossing it to him “Go ahead, try it out.” Heading to the black smithing table now, she needed to smelt the ore fragments that she got so that s -

Morrighan had to do this a bunch more times because it was also needed for other things that needed to be crafted. Good thing she gathered a crap ton of each. After some time she had a nice chunk of bags full of the mysterious herb powder. Bringing an arm full to the magic craft workbench, she would start to take out some small violet fragments. Tossing in the cauldron what looked like a bunch of random stuff to the folk behind her, she could feel their eyes on her. With each ingredient that she places in, the large pot hisses with steam that floats into the area around her. Pulling what s -

Putting her hands out in front of her, she would push her mind into the world that never was. After a few moments a whole ass workbench appears in a blank spot right next to the others. Right then she would head to the alchemy station. She would start blending the herbs into powders in their own little sections of the table with her own mortar and piston. Not that theirs was not workable, hers was just bigger which made it instantly better. At the corner of her eyes on both sides of her she could see the people crowding around her trying to figure out what she was doing. Mixing, blending and c
