The soft click of a door shut, and immediately Raidou picks up the sounds of music. At this hour? His senses twist straight to caution, placing his back to the wall and moving slowly. Approaching the source of the music, hearing cupboards and other doors open and shut. It was Eruda, up in something she normally slept in. Bouncing around like a goof as if no one was watching. A catch in his head takes him by surprise, and removing his robe as quietly as he can, he folds it and places it off to the side, his hands still a little grimy from a late night.
He adjusts his lenses in the morning light, before taking to a lean and finding a flat space to just watch. This was her moment, and he'd let it play out with a smile. These sorts of things were hard to come by these days, and in short supply. The moment continues to play over and over, increasing in tempo as he goes virtually unnoticed.

Sliding into the ajar door, adjusting a pair of lenses on his nose. That same rather plain looking male, notably without one very distinguishing feature. "Still as busy as always." Raidou quips beneath his breath as he shuffles into the place, removing his shoes and taking a glance toward Sey still ringing a spoon through a pot. "Hope I'm not imposing on anything?" There was a slight mischievous grin claiming the corner of his mouth, knowing full that the other male would pick up what he was putting down. The tone sounded so true and earnest, something was off. Carefully sliding his boots together, another fiddle of his glasses as he raises to the flats of his feet. In his hands, a carefully bound tight leather satchel, who he offers to the table that could easily seat four. "I brought those spices you ordered, I'll leave them out here." As he begins to slowly pull out a chair, beginning to organize a small blueprint of utensils in front of him on that platform.
It hadn't been quite that long since he'd seen the couple, and they seemed to be escalating rather drastically. Just like Nikki and Miaki or Haine and Kiluia, Raidou couldn't be happier for them. Each cautious little twist of each cup and bowl before him like planning some serious construction, before by the millimeter they were in the correct spots.

That striking streak of vibrant pink stood out at the back of the room, causing the wanderer to begin to carve a path through those forces. A serpent would only survive with its head, and this battalion was no different. With bodies being cut down like wheat in a field, they'd wilt to the ground as they are sliced almost fully in twain. An endless wave of moronic self over evaluation, eager to throw their lives away for the bittersweet taste of selfishness. Those little bars of their flicker as it would drain, from green to orange and to red. The miasma drains what little they have left, as the man moves with a lethal intention straight to its source. Carving and throwing carcasses into one another, as a wave of drones tried to protect its queen. A pathetic attempt as their number meant so very little, as a bunch of untrained misbegotten soldiers.

What felt almost endless proved that the ill omen in red was more then capable of dealing with the endurance test. Anything that he'd spend would be immediately recouped as he'd harvest the life and energy of his opposition on each lethal blow. With nearly a third of their forces cut down without even the semblance of exhaustion from the faceless lord, their courage faltered under the weight of his resolve. They were free to try and escape, but the fact of the matter was the moment they chose to stand here they would never escape. Decisions were made and made final, for there was no going back. A inky black mass of hatred and malice honed to a wild and untamed weapon that continued its tirade against that orange army as if it was made of paper mache. As another 5 names would find themselves seared to the wall in an instant, the wanderer would seek the head beneath the crowd.

A beckoned word from the entrance of the chamber would ring out, the nomad deaf to the words spoken in his violent and raged fueled frenzy. A dark hand with an arm far too long would spring forth and clutch firmly upon a brunettes face moments after she swings a polearm. The force alone carries her some distance before she is slammed head first into that rock floor. A twist sees that thing coil like a serpent with a jaw locked to prey, dragging the limp body across like a battering ram in a wide horizontal sweep. The ground itself being carved a groove, the woman's near lifeless body being cast into her own allies. *Pop, Pop, Pop* the constant droning of system acknowledgement as more and more of these foes were reduced to ash, and with it lives were ending as Nervegear surely made good on its lethal promise.

The chain detonations would send a stir of discourse across the nigh endless forces of players eager to be the one to break a hole in that armor. Yet it stood strong against them all, proving even still that none of them could hold a candle. The ill omen in red transformed into a darker writhing mass of black and decay would siphon the life from all within proximity, the faint red trails of life being drawn into it like a nexus. Kill after kill, the system would screech in return with shattering fractures of light that would exit that film. The monument of life was ablaze as names would burn in a bright orange on its surface like a brand, being seared forever into that slab of lead as a grim reminder of folly and belief. Some of them start to find their hearts beginning to wane, indecisive if their assault should continue.

Waves of fog start to swell and create a fitting nursing in darker ambiance, as it would mirror the boss that resided in this chamber on the regular. The storm becomes fickle with traces of aggressive red that would overtake the normal white, and as hostiles a plenty would rush headlong into it they would see their strengths sapped. Bars become visible as the ticks of damage would see them slowly begin to recede, chunks waddling away in dangerous portions as they foolishly ran lambs to the slaughter into it. An inhale in an inhuman tone, what little damage bred upon him was torn back easily back to full. The red wanderer in full glory, a horrifying visage that did not convey player in the slightest. Instead, it would provide only the jagged teeth of black that seemed almost inconsistent in their shifting patterns. A nightmare made real as more of their forces are driven to an early extinction.

A blow from @Gabrandr rockets for Raidou, as he shuffles his feet. A blade rings out, redirecting the flying blade in a light show like a crash of lightning. It finds purchase somewhere, and the culprit? The man's own fallacy made stationary. A glance to Freyd and the others. It was clear that he was far gone, this NPC charades a player and yet wasn't one. It feigned humanity but failed to capture its essence.
The scather begins to sputter and spark, The resolute's own blade jammed to its hilt in the side. Casting off blue energy as it discharges from the seams. "A pity, that you would raze the fields of your people. Burn the ground. How will they eat? Where will they live? Do you inspire or do you conspire? It is so easy to fall into the pitfall between the greyed lines between them." Raidou pauses as he corrects his blade as if shrugging off every attempt made against him as any wound or fatigue seemed to have never existed.
"What you have done is brash, short-sighted. Take heed, that I will see your opponent driven to dust, as I expect that I will have to do to you. Planning, caution. You had not considered what would become of your people given this mistake. This was his mistake indeed, one that I never intend on making. Where you have decided to force your affairs alone, I have chosen to give hope. To be better than some petty vendetta. To make it mean something." A discharge of electricity from both the scather, and The forgotten kings that still coursed through Raidou's veins.
One of the few men to make the impossible possible. Alone, and remained human.
"It needs to mean something, you have abandoned your people. I will not make the same mistake. @Eruda Burn that damn thing."

Watching the whole of parties 3 and 4, which included so many he knew. A lingering filament of memory for each of them. The blonde and her pet, the guilds merchant. The agent just recently swapped into a different division. Fighter from the dark. An ode to trust. So many he knew. The shadow from the snow. A massive spear erupts and makes them all disappear, and once the dust clears. The ringing in his ears, like a bomb had gone off nigh leagues from him. "Damn right, I do." Raidou recoils from the words rattling behind his eyes, reaching for those lenses and plucking them free. But something was off, something was different. He looks back to Eruda, then that view shifts to Freyd. On those normally placid lips, a smile that he never wore.
"The difference is, you were given a chance and failed it. What mistake have you made?" The voice was hoarse and taxed, rough like sandpaper and mixed with a second bit of bass.
A sudden surge of red with a thump in his ears, as constriction begins around his chest. Raidou's eyes take to rich crimson, matching the fleeting red like silk that played from the floor. But that color mixes and twists, <<Concentration>> in full swing. "Every chance, and you can argue any semantics you'd like. The truth was, there is always a different way. We were not at ends at first, but you refused to speak. You're a monster, I know a thing or two about them, you see." The lenses begin to fold, and find their way into a pocket.
Harsh static rips down the length of his weapon and back, and within that brief second the red wanderer slams into the man's held steel. It casts forked bolts down and around the man, that Impossibility still racking his bones and fiber. Glancing off a sea of floating blades one after another like incoming arrows. A subsonic boom sees them collide. Staring through and past the interwoven hilts, a plain but vibrant blade bleeding with the cry for blood, mirroring a dying sun it had been given. "So I ask again, King of a fallen people. King that sports a crown, One that would sacrifice everyone in this chamber for his own's salvation. What mistake have you made?"

Wandering into the thoroughfare, a small fortune of these strange little seeds in his pocket. A few minced words and a small haul added in exchange. It appeared as though Kuni & Oni had some attachment to these small objects far greater than just a simple treat. Else they would not part with items of such magnitude. Either that or he was reading too much into like he always did. A complete and utter lack of fixation, simply because the man could not pardon the time between. To some such an affair would be an excellent break, but the wanderer could not afford such pleasantries. There were plans unfolding, there were ghosts in the backdrop, there were a million small details still waiting to be fleshed out and set straight. Let the others enjoy themselves, while he'd work to set things right. The nomad needed to wander, and where that lead. Well, only he knew.

Raidou twists his gaze to set it upon Juiblex, which was winding and trying so desperately to cling on. To protect the raw emotion oozing out of his shoulders. But the familiar couldn't. It needed allowance, whereas before it would just happen. The book spinning back to him, to neutral and to its bearer. Stopping it with a hand, they'd gotten off topic. But this had been peeling away at his thoughts for some time, Eruda had gained some insight and despite it chose to remain at his side. It offered confidence, that before he simply could not muster. "Sooner than most might expect." His vision shifts to Freya. "Almost ready, to do what must be done. But what is important is how it is done. Easy to simply obliterate them, what we need is to create unity. Trust. There are a few player killers that are not cut from the same cloth: Mari, Hidden. They can clear their own names, if we can convince them to kill again. Use them as scapegoats, It's hard to deny if a killer is killing monsters, that they are all bad."
Leaning down and fiddling with those lenses, and yet he refused to put them back on. "Back to the point, to what is important. This woman visited me in my dreams, wearing my mother's face. At first, I simply believed that it was just my mind playing tricks, it's something I am used to. I've ridden the border between sanity for quite some time, so it wasn't unusual. Before dismissed, but now relevant. For how long? How deep does this influence exist? I don't enjoy that which I do not understand. Her methods are unorthodox, strange and not easy to decipher. What do we have?" Raidou seemed perplexed with a mix of concern, there was no way he was going to allow this rogue element to undermine everything they had all worked so hard to achieve.

An arm full of Shiina, staring deep into the girl after offering Sprinkles something to keep him quiet. Still wasn't quite sure why the girl picked something so volatile, but yet it suits her. Through the doors and walks of arbiters edge, he begins to collect papers and scraps of info. Juiblex had claimed the front entry, the blackened liquid forming a space between the frame and sticking it shut despite damage sustained to the threshold.
Through the perimeter as that small support is laid across a sofa. Rustling through as fire continued to burn. Up to the chamber, leaving Shiina in the closed off building. To the room at the top, a sudden echo of color as he perused the room before. A single vial, left behind from the exchange. A crime scene, cataloged, one unit after another. "I suppose that's it." Raidou remarks after a thorough skill driven and real world perception scan of that room.
Pulling out a single space, a bit of wood, he motions something deeper into that nook. He couldn't very well expect Violet to stay away, but he could have eyes should this happen again. Back as if nothing had changed, he adjusts a pair of glasses before scooping up Shiina. The foundation was set, the building would serve him well. That empty vial, still cupped in his left hand, every item had an identity. One that could be discovered and deciphered. If it originated from Ameniti then that would be the end of the trail. But he was nothing if not consistent and calculating. "Let's get you home."
A flash of light after the door's barricade slithers back into his clothes, and he was gone.

A pause from his tone, he'd known for far too long that given Freyd's intelligence he'd never slip that gaze for long. But he'd allow him to look further, deeper so that he would discover more evidence than speculation. Intentions were hearsay, but results were not so malleable. "Not in the slightest, I always suspected that you would piece it together. I hoped you would, it saves me quite a bit of trouble when it comes to explanations." His attention immediately pivots, he was used to an audience and could address multiples without issue. "Not long Freya, it wasn't until Eruda brought it to my attention that I even had a reason to look. Imagine, if you will, how much do you tell Freyd about your day by day. Player Killers, murder is no different. When I found out, I ended it. Plain and simple."
"Within that book, you'll find not only the methods to destroy anyone, but who they are weakened by proxy. A network of connections so easy to exploit to get what is needed. But it includes the names of those that must be destroyed as well. Within that book is not only our undoing, but the method at which we will succeed. Firm Anima, and those that belong to it, were always being refined to eradicate these animals." Juiblex stirs for a moment, sensing something boiling in his belly. Raidou raises his hand to the thing, as a slow film of red begins to ooze out of his pores. After such a simple conversation, tapped did not mean consumed by. "If we are ever going to survive this, we need to be rid of the worst enemy that we stand to face. Our fellow man. The ones that choose to become one with the monsters of this place."
Just a brief breath, allowing it to roll out in segments. "Firm Anima is the answer, and what it represents. This place requires law, it requires unity, and it requires fear to quench any thoughts of crime. All of these things can be achieved, with such a simple thing. Control. This is why I could not work with Setsuna. I would have been biased."

His eyes switch immediately to Freya, and in front of him, as her most recent diagnostic showed. "The guild is finally reaching the heights that I had hoped." The glasses missing, and beneath their absence was honesty. "It's not just Eruda, but the guild as a whole that have experienced explosive growth. All according to plan." He murmurs as he places a hand flat on the table, fishing a black book out of his pocket with his other. "Pardon her, she was just doing what I asked. After all, the account should come directly from me, eventually all of Firm Anima would have heard this. It's only fitting that you would be the first, Freyd. What you hear, Freya, cannot leave this room. Otherwise, you will be condemning yourself and everyone you know."
Flipping open the book, he'd turn it and allow Freyd to take a gander. "Not even Eruda knows the full story, no one does. But that changes today. I can trust you to understand, at least I hope that I can. I am the guild leader to a second guild: The Laughing Coffin. For good reason, and I'll give that a moment to sink in." Sliding out of his clothes from the opposed arm, was Juiblex who begins to take a small shape upon the table. An entirely new addition one to the likes that Freya has seen. A sticky black mess with a pair of eyes, looked adorable, but that was a guise. The thing was a living acid.

The first flash of light, just outside the field of view. Around the corner of the guild hall, near that glassware that had just been replaced. Something had beckoned his early return, and as he ushers out of the threshold, he adds a bag to the surface of that table. It stunk of plants, ripe and in season. Something herbal, and very pungent. As the nomad removes his robe and finds it to the back of one of the many chairs, he leans forward and removes a pair of lenses from his face. Within this small gesture, he began to walk the path of the past.
Silence broke, as he took on a quiet and yet firm outward aura. "Freyd, Freya." A nod to both players, The needed attention had been paid. An excessive amount of information poured out onto paper, all an effect of understanding their enemies. Had one slipped right under their purview, without the idea that she was one?

Soft boots upon hardwood floors, his hearing was far better than most. Not that it was difficult to hear anything that was spoken. The trailing bit of crimson sliding along with him with momentum carried. Pale white reflections held to the eyes as he breached the threshold into the guild hall. An accurate pairing, but not one expected, the words sinking past a defensive layer. Without a word, he ushers past and places his things upon a countertop. Silently into the back, a rustle of Ruri's hair right before he gets punched for being late.
It didn't bother him in the slightest.
She starts to climb out of the box, and the guild hall had fallen silent. Some trailing with their eyes, others, just struck dumb by the wanderer's presence. It didn't matter none, and as Raidou makes a move to a chair, he removes his robe and drapes it off the back of it. A pair of reflective lenses still fighting with light pouring through the open and still swinging doors from Sam's little kerfuffle. He had seen the dead before, and has nearly every day since. In that area, he was an expert. But they were never real, how could they be?
Reaching for those glasses and plucking them from his face, his attentions shift toward Sam. "Real or not, it matters to you. But the fact is, it will not help you. Letting yourself be so totally consumed by this will only lead nowhere. Settle it, if you need to search for this woman, even if it is to convince yourself that she isn't real, then so be it. But when you're in this guild hall, reasoning and reality must prevail. You cannot afford to be so distracted or draw others into this chase. We have a job to do." The glasses fold up and take a space upon the table. "You want to talk, Sam. Then lets talk."

Snapping awake to the sound of birds, his hand rushing to his face. "A dream?" Raidou remarks to an empty room, and strangely he had slept in. Moving his legs to the end of the bed he fell in, they find the wood floor. His eyes shut harshly before he blinks. "This is a first." he comments, sliding off the bed, adjusting the fabrics to be straight. "My mom..?" His hands slow as they move across the bedding, correcting it and pulling it tight.
His head shakes in refusal. "There is no way." as arms move to clutch a pair of lenses. Unfolding the sides and finding them around his ears, sliding beneath his hair. A flutter of a red robe as it's unfurled over his right shoulder and pulled tight around the neck. Stairs creak as he slides down them, working his way back into common practice despite anything that had transpired. The wanderer was trying to rationalize it, finding it only as perhaps his mind playing tricks on him in a way he was all too familiar. For a moment, his thoughts linger, and he almost contemplates using a skill on the woman's face. But doors open on the guild hall, revealing a few faces more than ready to start moving on with the light of the day. A mental thumb tack is placed into it, as he was already quite behind on his standard set of chores. A nod to Simmone as she and a pair of NPC children rush past him up the stairs. "Maybe later, it's worth looking into."

Blast after blast as his feet slide and connect over and over. Sparks fly, ringing loosely, but he can hear no sound from the blows. Nothing but a vacuum of space, where without end he fights. He's been in this dream before, and every time he fights until the sun rises. Here, however, would be the first time he would remember it existence. A voice on his flank causes him and the shadow he was engaged with to stop and lower blades. As his head would turn, a pair of glasses hung upon his nose begin to slide down. "I can hear you, but why can I?" Raidou immediately twists into speculation, as the glasses are shoved up that bridge. The creature, takes a step into the flames and revealed was the faceless lord also having heard the voice from the woman.
A shared interest, causing the battle and bloodshed to cease if for but for a brief instant. As the black figure takes a step into the light, it lowers a grim looking orangish red colored blade, mirrored by the silvered red one in Raidou's clutches. Both seemed on edge, scanning this perpetrator in this dream world.
"Mom?"
From the black, speckled and glossy creature with long jagged teeth.
"It's a trick."
Immediately, the boy in red dismisses it.
"Look at her face."
It beckons with a strange mix of twinned voices, circling the woman. The voice akin to that of a hiss, a man trapped in a monster.
"It cannot be real."
Raidou assures himself, not allowing a facsimile the reward of belief.
"What else is real?"
That creature spits toward himself, eying it with rage fueled and coal burning eyes.
"That's just it, everything and yet nothing is."
White filled lenses shielding a pair of eyes from view.
Both stop, eying the woman with entirely different auras. Whereas the one that took the figure of man seemed objective, and skeptical, the other seemed convinced and emotional.

Just one more day
Soft tapping of a glass rod into a bowl, as flakes fall from its end. A few flakes added into a large basin of glass, being mixed into a bubbling mixture and causing it to shift shade. "That should do, now I just need to let it sit overnight." Midnight air, a small clock reading back in a set of blue colored digits pertaining to night. 3 am, but that was pretty common practice, to burn the midnight oil. Lifting a small girl, and ushering upstairs with her, he manages to get her into bed. Into his own, as he removes a pair of glasses. Clattering upon a table to the side of that bed, before removing the robe off his shoulders. It's folded and placed carefully next to those lenses. Meticulously and precisely in its place. Falling into the mattress as his eyes grow heavy, a day done and another soon to begin.
A sea of blood, of death and dismemberment. Flames burn without concern in the corners caught in brush. Adorning his shoulders was that crimson flag, and slamming against his blade in sparks was something. Something without shape nor color, only a shadow. A replica. It was faceless because it needed none, for it was a representation. One that Raidou understood on more nights than this one. It was a repeat offender. Weapon shifts, and clashes again, and he can feel his arms ache as he was pushed to his limits. No words, no safety. Only a variable wall placed and an anger unbound.

Palming a crystal at blinding speeds, robe screaming as he moved. Blue flames darting around the chamber, casting the whole place in a mix of varied light. They'd have to hold out, if they had any hope of this they had to hold strong. A crash of steel on steel, as parties cycled in and out, keeping too much damage falling on any one team.
The Scather had done him harm, and even still one can see the traced pockmarks upon his skin. Tiny pin mark holes of data revealed, as the red wanderer inhales, faint bits of red sheer stemming from the floor and entering his mouth. Those wounds start to vanish rapidly, disappearing quite quickly. Still upon his brow, that same adamant resolve that most would have come to expect, the one that held no fear. An eyebrow raises, watching something forcing her hips to pop in an almost unnatural fashion. Raidou never had the groove, he simply couldn't feel it. This was all new to him. He understood it only on a base level, but not truly. "I uh, am fine." he remarks with a soft inhale. Eruda turning as red as she had had a way of reciprocating the same problem back to him. Reaching a hand to his brow, and swallowing hard. There was something that still needed to be said. Slowly peeling the lenses off the bridge of his nose, folding them up and carefully setting them atop the folded robe. A sudden and unexplained word, one with adamantly that was normally found in combat. But where it was absent of anger. It was determination, an eagerness to understand that which he did not.
"That however, I'll take..." Flush still, he twists the meaning around, "Show me." as he starts to unhook and roll up sleeves from gloved hands. His decision was made.
