Actually on second thought, that doesn't really work for PVP because who would walk into a parry? I guess for PVP it might need some tweaking I guess... The only idea in my shallow brain is to maybe put parry on a cooldown timer and you use it AFTER your enemy attacks as a gamble to take less damage but not actually attack yourself.

No it makes sense for PVP, since parries are something you would notice and change based on.
Funnily enough Parry long ago worked the turn after, but it turned out to be far too much fuss.

Fair enough I suppose. I will say this thought just because the situation amuses me. *uses parry, other player doesn't attack. Uses parry, other player doesn't attack" I CAN OUTLAST YOUR PATIENCE. *both players parry* xD
