  2. The shop hummed with silence as quiet feet shuffled about the room. Shifting from one part of the room to the other, in search of ideas and blueprints from weapons that had never been crafted. Golden tufts bobbed back and forth before finally stopping at the entrance to the furnace as he had finally gathered all the materials and drafts he would need. Setting the planograms on the table, he inspected each item thoroughly before letting a soft grin grow among his features as he took out a material and began to craft. King simply watched as all this took place. With his role being reduced, to mere craft servant, the leopard lounged around the crafting tale more often than not.

  3. "A rather redundant question if you ask me," quipped the blonde as he ascended the steps of the summit. His crimson gaze lingered about the mountain top, soaking in the view the top had to offer. Selecting a pillar opposite the bluenette, Oikawa propped himself against the weathered stone and waited for the rest to arrive.

"So will this truly be the first time we've all gathered together outside a boss raid? Some guild we are."

The notion that the guild had come together individually was a contradiction in its self. But it seemed to be the most accurate description of the creation of Spectrum Coalition. Lifting a finger, Oikawa summoned his menu and selected his friend list. Scrolling, he stopped at the letter K. Two names fit the data, both women who have affected in ways he had never imagined. A sigh expelled from the blonde.

"One is M.I.A. and the other has a death wish," mumbled the blonde.

  4. So we are gonna eat it, thought the blonde as @Calrex asked for some assistance in making the fish edible.

Just as he turned to check the rest of the lake out, the blonde's gaze met with Ariel's for a moment as she explained how he should change clothes. Raising his index finger, he motioned for her to wait as he scrolled through his inventory. Within a few moments he had found what he was looking for. Selecting the swim trunks he had battled Tristan in, and watched as the golden armor he had been donning only moments before, de-materialized and in its place remained the swim trunks.

    "Hows that?" He questioned.

Before he could receive an answer, @Hikoru approached the blonde. The dagger wielder quickly reminded them of their agreement, causing the blonde to chuckle. "I haven't forgotten and I look forward to it." Expelling a soft sigh, Oikawa gazed around the lake. Faces here and there seemed familiar while others, not so much. He couldn't help but chuckle, at how peaceful the players seemed. For once there was no rift or drama. He enjoyed days like these as they normally didn't happen often.

Hearing @Ariel - The Crowned Lion's name being called out from the other end of the lake, Oikawa looked in the direction of the shout and chuckled as a Lycan motioned for the lady blonde to come retrieve her cat.

"Ahh I should've brought King," mused the blonde to no one in particular.

  5. Oikawa sighed. His eyes rested as he pondered why Lowenthal of all people would tread such a dangerous path. Even more so the path wasn't dangerous because of the potential of death but more so in the potential of growth. From what he knew, Lowenthal was a player of many faces. One day he could be your chum, someone you felt you could rely on, then just like that, the next he speaks with such recklessness and and acts with even more of it. His lids lifted., revealing a soft gaze to the youth. She had a point in a way. Thoughts turned over in his head. Oikawa was more than capable of listening and trying to understand Mari at the very least, the predicament lied in whether or not she would want to talk to him given their brief misunderstood history. His mid suddenly flashed a thought of Kiru. He knew the two had history however the outcome of it was up in the air.

If nothing else, it's one less potential enemy.

"Well I may have to partake in your philosophy myself. Certainly there must be some good in her if you have such high beliefs in her right?"

Just as the words left his mouth, the pinkette arrived as if the rhetorical question was her cue.

"Well speak of the devil. How are you Mari?"

  6. Having not said anything for the entirety of this whole meeting, the blonde raised a hand from behind the maple-haired samurai and spoke up. "I can pseudo-tank if you need me too. I don't specialize in anything in particular aside from PvP due to my collection of gear. That said, I can use this gear on the boss as well, provided he isn't immune to paralysis and damage over time effects. Aside from that, I am fine with wherever I'm placed whether its the Spectrum group or another. I just want to kill the boss and move on. We've spent far too much time on these lower leveled floors. And I don't know if I'm speaking only for myself here, but I still want to get out of this game. So lets make haste with the rest of this meeting so we can prepare and conquer."

Having said his peace, the blonde leaned back against the tree he was beneath and waited for the meeting to come to a close.

  7. Just as Oikawa's blade ripped it's last thrust through the beast, a blue-ish blur surged past him confronting the Kobold head on. Unleashing his on flurry of slashes, the bluenette hacked away another portion of it's HP before disarming it with a stun. Turning to Baldur, Calrex entrusted the next blow to the waiting samurai. As his party rattled off one blow after the other, Oikawa stood by, waiting for Rain to take action since Xion had managed to disappear. Odd, thought the blonde.

Noticing that @Rain still hadn't made his move, Oikawa rushed back into the fray as they window of opportunity was coming to a close. Watching the radiant light expel from his sword, the rapier-wielder extended his form, attempting to riddle the chest of the Kobold once more before passing the torch to Calrex. As his blows seemingly missed every inch of the intended target, Oikawa sighed and looked towards the two active members of their little group.

"It's still stunned, capitalize on that since apparently I can't!"

  8. Approaching the bank the blonde eyes illuminated as he noticed Calrex had two other familiar faces in tow. The couple of Hikoru and Ariel, surrounded the dissolving pixels of whatever lake dwelling creature they had just ethered. Light reflected off the gold plated armor he donned as he worked himself into their field of vision.

"Slaying things without me? I'm hurt," teased the Faint as he offered the trio a wave. "What'd you manage to kill this time around?" He hadn't trained with Calrex for quite some time and the time since he last adventured with Ariel far exceed any recent events. The only person he had the pleasure of accompanying as of late was Hikoru and their last encounter wasn't one the blonde assumed the self titled "Master of Shadows" would like to repeat. Shrugging the thought away, the blonde focused his sights on the massive hunk of fish that remained. "What do you plan to do with that?"

    @Calrex @Ariel - The Crowned Lion @Hikoru

  9. The blonde bit his lip. The lilac haired girl's words gave him something to ponder. Most of what he knew was in fact rumor validated by others accounts. From what he's witnessed personally, he's only known her to be a ruthless cold person. However, he also knew that each of her kills had a reason barring the last one if he recalled correctly. He opened his eyes., although he was unsure of when he had closed them to begin with. His gaze returned to Esther, his lips parting as he offered her a response.

"You are unlike most people I know. While your opinion of my crystal doesn't bother me, your statement holds nonetheless. You are also correct in the fact that I've never once taken the time to understand her or her reasons for doing what she has done." The blonde hated to admit it, but his interest in the two only spiked at this point. "I also have this nagging feeling, that she isn't one to just open up however. So even if I wanted to understand her, what would be the point if she doesn't want anyone to know her pain? Her reasoning? It's all pointless if she doesn't want to open up."

  10. Crimson eyes beamed from the opening of the forest that lade to the lake below. Several green crystal dotted the scene, giving him a rather accurate representation of Aincrad's active players. Armor removed, and weapon aside, the blonde only donned a pair of swim trunks that he had once used in the tournament against the previous holder of Achilles, Tristan. A small grin found its way to his features. He missed the old days. Hmm maybe with the coalition we can bring something like that back,  he mused. Taking a step from the shadows of the greenery, Oikawa spotted a peculiar crystal being bounced around upon the surface of the water. Suddenly it was launched to shore and beneath the little emerald was a bluenette he was all to familiar with. Bringing up the messaging menu, Oikawa selected a certain bi-color haired girl from his list and typed out a quick message.

Down for some R&R? The lake on floor 2 is host to some old and new faces it seems. You could use another break with all the training we've been doing. -Oik

Sending it off, the blonde then took off towards the bank, eager to see what had sent Calrex flying.

  11. (OOC: Gonna keep this chugging)

Just as the mimic was slain, a guttural howl exploded from behind them. Oikawa glanced past Cal and peered into the tunnel leading out. His crimson gaze was met with another though these eyes were attached to a drooling maw and armored body. Drawing his own blade, Oikawa pointed to the beast and spoke. "Guess we found the dungeon boss. Let's slay it quickly. That chest was a disappointment." Surging past the group, the blonde's blade flickered to life as he struck the beast with an Over Radiation. His blade pulsed with each strike, quickly cutting into the massive HP bars the beats hosted. "Rain, Calrex, Baldur, strike its chest. It seems weaker there."

  12. "Be careful of the yellow ones. They are horrible for crafting as I've been told," muttered the armored boy as he strolled out from seemingly nowhere. He had recognized the girl from an earlier engagement this week, and saw fit to check on her given their last meeting. Crimson eyes drifted across the fields, searching for signs of the elusive Mari whom for once was actually sitting in plain sight. Squatting down, a small grin found its way to his face and planted itself there as he spoke with the girl.

"So Mari eh? What made you pic her of all people to follow around? Are you not aware of her notoriety? What she's capable of? Are you not concerned with your life?" The golden haired youth was genuinely curious. He was baffled that someone would willingly let their being be chained to that of someone with a violent history as long as Mari's.He sighed. Answers weren't necessary but he did wish to understand the girls fascination with the pinkette and even more so, Mari's fixation with Esther.

  13. Crimson eyes scoured the area. Instinctively his gaze kept glancing over to the lass that trailed not too much farther behind him. Black and blue strands gently bouncing in his peripheral as she followed him to the event Zandra had put together. As they neared the beach house, Oikawa paused a minute to allow Kiru to catch up.

    "It's just up ahead."

Taking her hand in his own, he led her to the party that seemed to still be getting started. While he recognized the two front-liners, his eyebrow raised at the sight of two lower leveled players. While normally he would try to break the ice with them to alleviate the tension that came with his crystal, he cared little for their opinion of him at the moment. He had only decided to bring Kiru so they could enjoy themselves from all the training they had been doing as of late. Locating the host, Oikawa offered Zandra a bow and hello.

"It's been a while Zandra. How are you? Jomei?" Looking back to Kiru, he nearly chuckled. Unsure if the two knew each other, he offered a small introduction between them. "Kiru, this is Zandra. Best First Aid-er in all of Aincrad. Zandra this is Kiru. Ex-Brigadier and Maverick Hunter."

Looking towards the two-toned hair girl once more, he gestured towards the drink table.

    "Shall we?"

  14. "It wouldn't be me if I didn't assert my dominance and crush his spirit," joked the blonde. "No in all seriousness, I want this to be a lesson and drive home the point that damage isn't the end all say all. Hikoru has a penchant fr doubting himself. So rather than drag him through the mud, I hope to pick him up and show him that he, no we still have work to do." Shaking his head, Oikawa turned to head off towards the arena. Hand raised, the Faint offered Baldur a wave before departing. "Soon we will have that fight in full gear and i know it will be grand." Chuckling he added, "Also someone would be a fool to bet otherwise. There aren't many who can best me one v one at the moment hehe. But rest assured should someone take it, you'd be 100 col richer."

  15. "You always did have a certain charm for being the damsel in distress love," agreed the blonde as he to muffled a laugh. "But that said, we agree that neither one of us are backing down from our promise and as such finding a common ground would probably be best." As much as he hated to admit it, even the The Faint couldn't be everywhere at once. His promise could only be kept if he knew her whereabouts at all times, and even with the friend tracker, keeping her safe across the eighteen some odd floors at all times would prove to be impossible, no matter his resolve. Reserving a sigh, Oikawa glanced at the girl. His eyes searching for a proposal that could work for them both. One that would allow them to keep their promises while still maintaining the appearance that they were not in the slightest fighting for each other.

His sigh deepened. He found no such answer, at least for the moment. His gaze shifted as the tone in Kiru's voice took another tone. Her concern fell around the parameters of her eventual duel with Opal. As much as he wanted to say, 'I'll handle it', he knew her pride and promise wouldn't allow her to so easily hand the fight to him. No he mused that if nothing else, he would have to insert himself in the fight. Forcefully making his presence known and dealing with Opal then and there. His thoughts were fleeting though. He knew full loss meant exactly that. And if push came to shove, he would have to carry out the act if Opal wouldn't stand down. His mouth opened, no words came out. He sighed once more, closing his eyes before opening them once more and carrying on.

"First and foremost, you will not die. If I have to intervene, to prevent that so be it, and I will not let you stop me. If your life is on the line, no matter what, I'm coming for you. So that's my bottom line. Everything else is fair play." Looking down, he continued. "I don't have a plan for you to beat Opal. You've simply been away far too long. I can only suggest we grind. we grind and grind until your arm does sword arts with spoons while eating breakfast. Until then however, I need you to refrain from picking fights. Otherwise I will enforce my will as your knight and do what needs to be done to whomever opposes."

A deep breath expelled from him, his brain juggling everything he felt and thought.

  16. Grasping the samurai's hand, Oikawa returned the grin and the sentiments as he un-equipped his gear. "Combat brings out the warrior in us all and it was my pleasure to offer you such a challenge. I definitely look forward to our blades crossing paths once more and seeing what you have for me in due time. Maybe I can use my actual gear hehe," the blonde chuckled. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have another spar to attend to. It seems Hikoru wants to learn the true meaning behind my nickname the Paragod and I am all too inclined to show him." The grin upon his face was much larger than it should've been, but the blonde was genuinely excited to partake in a full duel where he could use his best gear.

  17. The blonde had remained generally silent for most of the meetings exchange. His words would be wasted upon the topic and he'd rather not drawn attention to himself given the crystal floating above his head. Despite his public apology sometime ago, he still felt the need to prove himself to the people of Aincrad and even more so reflect his change in his guild as Spectrum Coalition didn't need to have a bad rap sheet on his account. Though the pointless arguments continued for sometime, Oikawa's brow raised as he heard a voice he recognized in a tone he was unfamiliar with. The bluenette boy scout had finally taken some leadership initiative and shut everyone up. His message reverberating through the fields as he spoke. A small grin found its way to the youths face, as he continued to watch in silence.

Glancing through the crowd, he spotted a ginger that wasn't there moments ago and offered him a nod. Rather than add to what the SC members had already stated, he kept his mouth shut and watched Opal to see what her response would be to all this. Thankfully Kiru wasn't in sight, as he'd very well take Opal down should she decide to cause anymore problems. And as much as he'd hate to do it, if another's life was to be endangered because of her, the burden would be worth it should the opportunity arise.

  18. "No I think that was the last of them," chimed the blonde as he checked his stats as well. His HP fell way below half and his reserves for energy wasn't much better. Sighing the blonde glanced up and spoke. "We should probably head back. Teayre's meeting will be starting soon and I have an errand to run on the first floor still. I think I gathered about six pathetic materials. What about you?" Oikawa hadn't nearly come close to the amount of materials he wanted but some was better than none and he had other things to tend to today. Looking around he spotted a rather peculiar ore protruding from the ground. Collecting it he chuckled.

"Make that seven pathetic materials. Either way, lets go."

    ID: 67615 LD: 26 (16+10) [+1 Material. 7 Materials Total]

  19. A smile flickered. A small one, but one nonetheless. The blonde could only cherish it for a few seconds before it was retracted and replaced with a serious expression. One he knew was part of the many walls the icy woman cycled through. His gaze followed hers while she explained her issue with his presence. He knew that she had no problem with him being there, but rather him being there while in the situation she was in is what truly bothered her. Though her last words took him by surprise. He resisted the urge to place a finger to her lips and tell her to stop. Her mind seemed intent on bringing up the worst possible outcome for the issue at hand and furthermore with both their promises there wasn't a physical way for them to both achieve their goal without being near each other At least on his end.

He chuckled internally. The thought of Kiru lecturing him about keeping promises subsequently brightened his day, despite the context of the promise being as grave as it was. He only shook his head and sighed. He couldn't let Kiru do this alone no matter how much she pleaded. His lips parted, reminding her of his end of the deal too. "How can I keep mine when you go off to do things like this hmm? I intend to keep my promise just the same and and just as you said it isn't my job to protect you, I could easily and more convincingly say the same. You are the last person I want to lose, and with that reckless attempt, I'm more inclined to stick around." He hadn't wanted this to be a lecture in the least. His mind swelled with thoughts of what could've happened. What if Opal had killed her, then she couldn't even keep her promise and Oikawa would've broken his as well.

Another breather escaped. He looked down into the icy orbs that cast judgement over him and let his mind settle on how to word his request. "We are both stubborn. That much is evident so meet me halfway on this. We confront Opal together. No more lying and sneaking off and I don't have to play ninja to keep you safe If we can agree to disagree on this, my mind will be at ease, and despite you not wanting her to know or connection, it wouldn't take long before she found out on her own anyhow. So rather than nip it in the bud and hide it, lets use it to our advantage."
