  1. Baldur was beaming when @Minako had said it was nice to meet him, though slowly the realization of what he had just done began to creep across the samurai's face. But that was when he heard the more embarrassing phrase of his life. "Hi." Baldur's face froze in an instant, a bizarre mix of shock and embarrassment painted plainly on his normally stoic, guarded features. Few people ever really saw the gaijin wanna-be truly expressive and at ease. He was reserved at all times, discipline at all times, and except in rare occasions, serious at all times. However, here and now, caught up in
  2. Baldur smiled when the Master of Shadows greeted him by way of a hug. Another player higher than Baldur would he had forged an almost mentorship role with. He didn't have time to wonder long about though, as he greeted the man warmly. "It's good to see you too Hikoru-kun. I'm glad even if you didn't make the party, that you decided to get into the spirit and join one." Just then @Hikoru was approached by a young, cute girl who was dressed to kill. She seemed to approach Hikoru shyly, and Baldur turned to face the master of shadows, allowing him a moment of youth as the two love birds
  3. "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" The Samurai bellowed when he saw @Shield and @Cosi come up to where he had been standing at Benny's booth. The earnest grin of of the gaijin split his face and touched his eyes, true friendship glowing from them as he took them both in with a broad gesture of his arms. Realizing that Cosi was with Shield, Baldur turned to the young man and give him a formal bow of a senior to a junior. "Merry Christmas, I am Baldur. Nice to see Shield with someone new for a change. I don't imagine @Beat is wandering around anywhere here. He's probably admiring that pile of unique i
  4. Baldur practically lived on the fourth floor. Well, he didn't actually live on the fourth floor, but it was his favorite floor by far. He loved the snow, he loved the vistas, and he loved Christmas. Perhaps that last was the reason why he loved the perpetually kinkade-esque village of Snowfrost and spent so much time here. It was perfect for when he needed to get away, or when he needed to have something warm to drink with friends. The small cafes seemed more cozy and friendly because of the snow. So when it came time to start setting up the Christmas festival, Baldur had been one of the

I have a character that may stick to your heart and a demon of a character idea waiting to be hatched, but I'm guessing that's not what you're looking for :P

  6. Sorry to people who feel I've ghosted on them. I am still around. I'm finishing my project, have been to multiple funerals, been to a convention, and am about to board a flight to South Korea. Once that's settled, I'll catch up on my threads.

    Thanks for understanding!

  11. "Konbanwa, my friend." Baldur said as he pushed open the door. Shield has a large supply of identified items, and the gaijin was here to find what he needed. Identification was random, so it was a bit of a long shot but so few merchants had a stock. "I'm here looking for... Ooh, this." Baldur pointed out the accuracy tea. "And it's even my favorite kind. 250 seems fair. Thank you for your help!" +1 T1 Rare 250 Col [92917] Accuracy -250 col
  12. This week is going to be really crazy for me. I know my posting is generally erratic, but it will be more so this week. You'll probably see me procrastinating around here, but by and large I'm going to be buckling down for work through Thursday. I apologize for the delay.

  13. Man, work is going CRAZY right now. Sorry everyone.

  15. Thanks to Hei for getting my light armor done in time for the boss fight! :)

  16. Baldur, after having worked with Pinball a few times, decided to visit the kid's shop. Being a cook, there was a useful number of buffs that the Scorpion of the Guardians could provide. Especially when it came time for the boss raid. If he could get his hands on some +Acc and +Eva items, it would be even better. Unfortunately the shop was out in the middle of nowhere. Pushing open the door, Baldur called out to the inhabitant. "Ohayo! Pinball, you here?" He walked up to the counter and gave a polite bow of his head to the kid. "I would like to buy your whole grain cookie, t

  18. I think I'm caught up on everything. If you're waiting for me in a thread, let me know.

  19. A) I understand they have a 3.0 vision for pets, but I wanted to throw together a (simple to me) fix for the current system of pets B) Currently, you must have a pet to be competitive in SAO. If you don't have one on the front line, you're just not a good character C) The above point means EVERYONE has a pet, and per canon, and even thematically, everyone should not have one My goals are 3 fold 1) Take skills that were otherwise not thematic to SAO, and place them into pets 2) Give pets a role that suits canon and puts them in a place where not EVERYONE gets one 3) Requires ver
  20. I love the new icons, but shouldn't the maze be the icon for the Frontlines, since that's where the labyrinths are being explored? :P

      Hirru

      I don't think so.

If a thread is in the front lines group, then the boss has already been found within the labyrinth.  It's only the fights that are present there.  Now, Intermediate Floors, maybe.

  21. Who is planning to join the next boss fight that hasn't been in one before?

Ah yes, old sport. Neither I nor my impressive mustahhhhche have been in a boss fight. We planned to forthwith foray onto the battlefield and make mincemeat of said boss with reckless abandon eh whot!

  22. I should be all caught up on my posts. Sorry for the wait.

  23. Quests: I'd like to general themes of upcoming quests, not necessarily details. The story hook, if you will. "We've got a quest coming up for an upper/lower floor where you fight giant sugar shaped like rabbits." Also, any changes being made to old quests, or if changes are being made to update old quests Floors: I know you can't necessarily give details, but you could tease something about it. "The next floor has a snow theme, or a star wars theme, or it's going to have a heavy focus on cats." or maybe "Hey, we're working hard to get a couple floors ahead of the assault team, then we're
  24. Baldur was blown away by the speed at which Macradon was able to fulfill his request. Baldur looked at the sword with a mix of reverence from the quality of work, as well as at the man who crafted it. "You have far surpassed my every expectation, my friend. I look forward to using this blade to help catch up to you guys in the assault team." With a gesture of his hand, Baldur opened the window and began to initiate the trade, a look of excitement on his face. "I wasn't expecting to be able to get my hands on it so soon. Now I will have this to help me farm up my armor, and hop
  25. Baldur wanders into Macradon's shop. He couldn't remember the last time he was in here. When he pushed open the door to the shop, the gaijin realized he had never been in here. Baldur had been used to being catered to. First by Tyger, then by Oikawa. The previous smith had wanted to mine for uinques, so he dumped his entire inventory onto Baldur. The Samurai wanna-be then took the items and identified them all, keeping the two he liked. Now Baldur came seeking a friendly face to order a custom blade. Macradon was the best, from what he had heard. The Knight and Baldur had what the samurai-wann
