I believe its like the multiple weapons skills: you can choose to invest in more than 1 (ex: curved and katana, you can used either of them)

I was told you cant do that a while ago when I asked about wearing the armor. If thats the case, I'll be getting some heavy armor to wear around then for the enhancements. xp 

you can wear heavy armor and get the mitigation enchant, I'm not sure about the others though... you know what Imma drag senpai in here *goes after Zero*
