  1. This feeling was quite familiar, but Hirru couldn't figure out from where.  A feeling of uselessness that overwhelmed someone as their hope turned into fear.  A fear that would make many cower back into the corners of a room, if they could move.  The same fears that everyone on the first floor felt when they entered the fields.

The fear that they wouldn't make it back.  That they would change.  That they would die.

Hirru, though, saw this as something that was much more familiar.  It was the feeling of emptiness.  His legs were nothing when he first entered Aincrad, but with time, he was able to start walking.  It feels just like that time, but he could feel his legs instead of back then.  Back then, there was nothing there to feel.  He had to imagine that they even existed to even start feeling them.

"I think I'm just having another snap in my memories.  You remember when we first met?  When I told you about finding my friends, and you helped me with that beast." ((Which..btw.. it is your turn to post in that..))

Hirru got back up to his feet, but kept a hand on Xion's shoulder.  He would be able to support himself, but movement will be harder.

"I'll be fine, but we should get back to the village before anything finds us.   Mind giving a guy a shoulder?"

  2. ((What are you planning?))

Hirru couldn't think of what to think about the new situation.  He has seen plenty of weird things lately.  Creatures creating traps; dungeons changing their layout; a rock that could only be broken by using physical contact.  Now, a person that was stuck in the crack that has formed from them bashing the boulder as much as they could.  Not only that, but Hirru was having none of it, pretty much making the entire situation pointless to him.

Hirru walked over to Grave and grabbed one side of the crack while trying to pull.  Nothing would budge.

"Could use some help on the other side..."

  3. Hirru, trying to move his legs, but to no fruition.  Looking from Xion to his legs as he said that his paralysis should have been over with by now.  There should be no reason for this to be happening.  Nervegear was supposed to replicate all movement within the system to the users brain, simulating all movement for the user.

Thinking that it was all in his mind, he tried again.  This time, he could feel the twinge in his leg as it started to bend slowly.  After a few minutes of getting them to contort to their regular standards, Hirrru could stand again.

"Alright!  I think everything is back in order."

He said as he tried to take a step, but fell to the ground instead.

"Its going to be one of those days, isn't it..."

  4. It stands for Light Momentum.  It's an enhancement for light armor/ leather armor which allows a character to gain a +1 Battle Dice to their next roll, if they miss their current roll.  This continues until a successful hit is rolled, then the boost is lost until the next time that your character misses.  The enhancement can be stacked up to the amount of slots used for it.  Currently, you can only go up to +2 BD.

It's a fairly good enhancement to go with, if you have a speed/striker build in mind.

  5. The young monster hunter watched his two compatriots and couldn't help but think that he should probably find a better way of breaking this rock.  His thoughts would wonder every so often, mostly towards the bear and how he could be wrestling it to the ground, but that would have to come at a later time.  Maybe actually doing what the one golden one was saying and hit the cracked portions, but where was the fun in that.  Especially when you have a grizzly to wrestle!

Hirru shook the thoughts from his head as he prepared himself.  He would try to hit the crack, but when he rushed forward, he only hit solid rock.  It hurt a bit, but not any harder than actually punching a rock.  Oh wait..

  6. I found myself following the path of the hooded figure as we circled around each other.  Its aim seemed to always be my chest, but it would seem that its attention would move to the Rakkun on my head.  Speaking of, the Rakkun was probably napping in my hat, as it had not moved in quite some time.  If I could, I would be able to bypass the figure's aim and land a strike.

The figure kept a trained eye, what I thought it was as I couldn't see past its hood, towards me as it aimed an another arrow at me.  This time, I ran forward towards it.  Seeing this, the figure shot the arrow in my direction, aiming for my heart.  Once I saw it open its fingers to release the arrow, I dropped down into a roll and dodged the arrow.  Retaining my momentum, I returned to my feet and activated a <<Rage Spike>> against the cloaked one.

As my sword connected, the cloak burst into pieces, showing the contents to me.  What I thought would be a humanized being vaporized from my sight to become the blue furred fox from before.

    "What?"

  7. Hirru watched as Grave disappeared from view only to come back later with a bear.  Seeing him try to do something like bait the bear into breaking the rock made him laugh.

"Grave, I said 'tackle it like you would a Grizzly!', not 'have a Grizzly tackle it for you!'."

The green haired Davy Crockett then pointed toward the rock as if it was of utmost importance, which it was.  He had to keep going on the regular path instead of relying on the teleportation hubs to get to places.

"Now stop being a Master Baiter and punch the bloody rock!"

Hirru prepared himself as he focused his energy into his entire being, letting nature be his guide.  The wind blew past him as the bear walked past, still whimpering.  He ran forward and tackled the rock, but nothing came of it.

  8. Being released from the paralysis, Hirru came to from Xion's jostling.  Hirru wasn't sure what had happened, but something was definitely different.  It felt like a dream, but  dreams don't usually have all that kind of pain in it.

"You can let go, I'm fine."

He said as he brushed the worried one off of him.  Slowly, he got off the bench and tried standing, but his legs gave out and he sat back down.  Looking from his legs to Xion.

"Alright, now what did you do?"

  9. Hirru was definitely trying to get that notion through his head to, some how, do that to Xion; but the attempt was lost due to many factors.  He didn't know what Scanners was, and didn't really care.  All that mattered was that he got a taste of what a 'PvP' was, and it got rid of his boredom..

..and a lot of pent up anger apparently.  He was actually much more relaxed than usual.  Though, that may be due to the paralysis, but that wasn't bothering him too much.

"Well, that's that, huh?  Don't worry about me.. Some PKer will whisk me away to a better place, and use me as a new 2 handed battle axe."

He began to laugh as something hit him.  Something came to focus from within

    "Hey, Hirru!  You alright there!"

A voice that sounded way too familiar.  The voice called out to me from the dark, but I couldn't open my eyes.  In fact, I couldn't move anything.  Nothing would respond, but would hurt if I tried harder.

    "Hirru, can you hear me?"

Yes, I can hear you, please tell me what's going on?!  Where am I?

"Your mother is talking to the doctors about some...new tech... they say.....VR....

What?!  What do they say?!  I can't speak back.  Doctors... what....

To Xion, it would seem that Hirru became eerily quiet, but still looking at him, before falling onto the bench with his eyes closed.

  10. "Oh believe me!  After fighting a bunch of trap friendly monsters on the first floor, I thought about adding a complaint with Kayaba!  Guess what!  He actually responded!"

Hirru quickly opened his menu to his messages and flipped his menu to public view.

Guess we shoulda let him stick with the Tylenol. :(HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    HA!

    "Who sends that to people?"

Closing his menu, he focused back towards the battle.  Xion mentioned that he had won!

"Not if I have anything to say about it!"

Hirru quickly dashed forward and got behind Xion's shield to attack him again for another blip.

  11. Hirru couldn't dodge in time, and found himself on the ground...again.  Paralyzed... AGAIN!  Hirru sighed as he looked up from the ground.

"You know what's more peaceful than the ground?  Not getting electrocuted every bloody time you hit me!"

  12. ((We'll have a round of Material Gathering here.  Also, since everyone has leveled up at this point, all current skills/levels apply.))

Hirru sighed a deal of relief when the Kobold died without calling more to it.  Looking to the rest of the group, they were ready to head out.  Having had a good fight, the team would now have a little session of material acquisition before they head out.  He thought that would be in the groups best interests.

"Team, lets head into the upcoming room and search for anything that could be useful to us later on!"

They moved on to a medium sized room that housed little to the mob infestation.  Hirru then had them fan out, and search for materials before doing the same.

    He came up with nothing...

  13. Seeing the small after effect of the tank player, Hirru was reminded of their dungeon crawling exploits.  Oh how good they were, but now was not the time to reminisce of good times.  Now was time to get past that bloody shield!

Hirru saw an opening and went for it, running past the shield and catching his shield arm with a good slice, but he noticed that Xion's health only went down a blip.  He jumped back while his battle healing kicked in.

"Finally got past that bloody thing!"

  14. Rolling out of the way, Hirru took a lowered stance to assess anything more about his stance.  Xion kept going back into a defender position, but his back is always open.  If only he could get behind him, Hirru thought as he rushed forward.

Hirru rushed in to get past Xion's shield, but a close quarters a shield could go wherever the arm could reach, and his strike was blocked by the bleed'n shield again.

    [Xion 20/20]

  15. Hirru jumped back as Xion tried to maneuver a stab at him.  Finally, these instincts were acting up now!  Looking into Xion's defense, Hirru looked for an opening in his stance.  Something that would give him the edge.

Nothing looked good, so Hirru stood his ground as he healed up from his battle healing.  The one thing about being a tank was that you could take quite a bit of damage so this dual may take a while.

  16. Feeling the blade bounce off his armor made him think about the times that the vest should have done the same thing, but wait.. there is more!  Maybe, there should have been some instinct to let him know that a small pebble would cause him to trip!  Thank you spirits of the wild!  You do so much help!, he thought.  After his paralysis finally ended, Hirru jumped to his feet with blade in hand.

    "This time, for sure!"

Running towards Xion, Hirru tried to get around his shield, but was blocked in time.

  17. Hirru's face during this entire escapade was that of utter disappointment.  Both in himself for tripping and giving Xion the moment to hit him, and Xion for using a petty trick like paralysis.  Though, he wouldn't really say it as they were dualing at the moment.  Instead, he opened his mouth to say,

"Oh how I do love the ground!  It's so peaceful and not trying to stab me with a dirty blade!"

    [Xion 20/20]

  18. Hirru grinned at Xion's proposal to have him go first.  Readying himself in a quick stance with his blade on his shoulder, he awaited the timer to go to zero.

"Get ready, cause I'm going over that flimsy thing you call a shield!"

Soon after the buzzer sounded, Hirru stepped forward into a run, but somehow tripped over himself and fell over.

    [ID 27510][BD: 1] Silence!..

    [Hirru 15/15]

    [Xion 20/20]

  19. "Then why risk your life for people that wish to maim nature?"

"We all live by killing something!  That is how nature works!  Survival of the fittest!  I don't want some nature nut telling me that which I already know!

I was getting pretty ticked off at this point. As I got back up faster than it could pull back the bow, but to my surprise, I couldn't hit it either.

"I will survive, but I will not sacrifice everyone else."

  20. Hirru listened to the woman who was called Mayuri.  She started to describe an area that seemed to be not far from their current position.  The mobs there sounded quite dangerous, and that only excited Hirru more.  Being acquainted with danger was becoming apart of him, so having become a hunter made that itch, much itchier.

Looking behind him to where she pointed, he thought for a second before returning his gaze back at her.  He grinned before waving his arm in a fashion saying to 'lead on'

"I would like to enjoy such sights, as much as a good hunt.  Please, lead on!"

Hirru would keep beside Mayuri while she took him through the area.  In the meantime, he would be looking for anything that may help him later.

    [27507][LD: 4] Nope..

  21. Hirru waited for about an hour before Xion finally came into view.  It looked like he had changed a little since they last met.  This was definitely going to be fun to throw some stress out.  Hirru opened his menu to send a [Half Loss] Dual Request.  Once he sent it, he tried his best impression that he could.

"Mah boi!  Silence the pleasantries, and put up your dukes, like a proper gentlemen!

((Roll a LD to see who goes first and this will be for 15 HP, if we went 20.. Hirru would be in the red))

  22. Hirru had wandered the second floor for the longest time, and was about to head towards the 2nd floor dungeon when he realized that he was incredibly bored.  After a while of wandering the lower floors, he really wanted to face a challenge.  Though he thought about just soloing the 2nd floor dungeon, he wasn't stupid enough to try it.  Then he thought about going against another player.

"Yeah, that would be an experience!"

He looked through his friends list, but he only knew the exact styles of a few, and most were too high or low of a level.  Maybe, Mack?  No, he's too busy with his smithy.  Same with Beoreson.  Maybe I could.... no, Mai would kill me...  The only one that seemed to not be currently busy looked like Xion, and he was apparently nearby.  Hirru shoveled together a message to Xion.

    To: Xion

    From: Hirru

Message: Xion!  Come to coordinates *INSERT SOMETHING WITTY*!  We shall perform fisticuffs, with swords!

  23. Trying to get in another attack was fruitless as the cloaked one fired another pinpoint attack on me, causing another wave of pain.  I pulled the two arrows out of me, which hurt that much more.  I groaned as the glowing holes gave off soft heat.  If this continued like this, I may die.

"Do you truly wish to die here, hunter?"

    "Huh?"

"I asked you peacefully to leave, but you refused.  We only wish peace in our forest.  No more bloodshed, nor kidnapping."

"People are already scared to enter, because of your traps!  They fear death!"

    "Then why do you not?"

    "I do!"

  24. Running forward, I raised my sword to attack my unknown assailant, as it wasn't a player.  No, it didn't seem to be anything, but a figure that was shooting arrows at me.  Speaking of which, it was already nocking another arrow to shoot at me.

Trying to dodge away from where it aimed, the figure followed my movements and shot an arrow straight into my chest.  Another spike of pain rushed through me, but I wouldn't let that get to me.  I rushed in and slashed through the cloaked figure.  Its cloak tore a bit, but not enough to remove it.

"You do not belong here!  Leave now!"

"Not until you stop these traps!"

  25. You still need them to get to the next set of floors.  It used to be sectioned off by every 10th floor, but the site changed a little.

I would have to say that it is still the same, though, as they don't want anyone to just hop up to the 11th floor which is currently our front lines.

To get to the 11th floor, you'll need to prove yourself with a benchmark first.  Think of it as a test that you need to study up on, and your 10 Complete Rps are your study material.
