  1. Aereth laughed at Birdie's comment. "Hey hey. Sometimes I also just want to be treated like the princess I am." he said in a girly voice before dodging an attack from one of the two bees and retaliating with a fist to the face of the mob. "Sh*t." Just as he hit the first wasp the remaining three also charged at him in an attempt of bringing the brunette PKKer down together. Aereth dodged, deflected and rolled away from the attacks as good as he could before he saw another opening to strike again.

    His blade glowed in a dark blue light and as soon as it made contact with the first wasp, he picked up some momentum and continued with the sword art until every minion was low enough for the next hit to end them.

  2. They were lucky that the group didn't decide to chase them after Aereth's escape maneuver. He took a few moments to look at the girl and analyze her. No good armor, no forged weapon, much slower than him. Most probably a pretty low leveled player. And he didn't like the way that girl was talking. "One hit. That's all it takes me to kill a level 25 player with that current equipment you have..." he thought before speaking up for the first time. "A normal person would have just said thank you and be done with it. You're right, I could still have taken down that fat f*ck but not without risking that somebody runs a blade through you. And why the hell aren't you scared of me? I'm an orange player that just killed a stupid lap dog of some random guy." When the female then asked about who he was, he answered. "Just some guy doing a job. Why do you want to know?"

  3. Finally, the two players were able to meet up with the heavy armored friend of Aereth. It was time to get going. "Hey there Dom. I think we are ready for our hunt. So here's the plan:" he said turning towards Dazia. "We will need you to lure out the mob we are looking for. They are looking like small boar piglets and have the <<Gourmet>> tag. From what I've heard from my information brokers they tend to spawn more often around lower leveled players. With Dom at their two and myself slowly scratching at tier three it would have been a pain in the butt to hunt them alone. In the meantime, Dom and I will follow you hidden but with some distance, ready to strike and assist you catching them. They go away for quite some Col in the cities and we will split the gains equally. Any objections or improvement suggestions?" Aereth asked. He was lying about the whole mob hunt stuff, but he was telling her the truth about how she was supposed to lure out something. That something just was far more dangerous than a simple mob. Domarus knew that and if everything went right all three of them would walk out of this night with one problem less and the players of the first floor would finally be able again to enter this part of the forest without the fear of getting killed again.

    @Dazia remeber that this is a NK thread so you don't have to fear to die in a PK action. :)

  4. Aereth chuckled. He didn't care if he got threatened by anyone after his recent encounter with the leader of the Laughing Coffin. "You would be surprised how often I get threats thrown directly into my face. So often that I don't even care anymore and believe me, after what I've been through you wouldn't care either." But when the blonde mentioned that she would love to hear the story about that cursor, Aereth rose an eyebrow. It really seemed that he managed to get the attention of the front liner. "Maybe one day I will tell you if we meet outside of the battlefield," he replied in a calm and a little bit teasing voice.

    After that, not much happened. The first wave of mobs spawned, which immediately got ended by Domarus and Ariel, and the blonde found a dungeon. "Nice." he thought, and finally prepared to join the combat as well. His sword started to glow as he charged his AoE sword art and sped towards the two <<Wraith>> mobs. His blade connected with his enemies and reduced their health points by some points. "Next."

  5. Floor 21. There were two reasons why Aereth was on this floor today. First reason: He needed to meet up with one of his information brokers to get some intel on some of his targets that were rumoured to have business on that floor. And second reason: Letting out some frustration on the high levelled mobs on that floor. Because another player interrupted him in his last assassination attempt on the leader of one of the red guilds on his list, said leader managed to escape.

    The brunette just finished the business with the hooded information broker and sent the rest of the Col over to him, before parting ways. For somebody unknowing, Aereth would also look like an information broker with his face mask and deep hood. So at least the business part of his travel to the front lines was done. So now he could focus on getting some anger management done...

  6. It was a quiet but somehow depressing floor, and Aereth was wondering why the tank would consider moving to this floor. Maybe it was the silence and the peace because not many players were up here on this floor. The material gathering was harder than on any other floor, and the monsters were quite decent levelled at least for the majority of players. "Really? Is there any particular reason for that choice?" Aereth asked curiously, as they walked side by side while looking for that chapel of the quest. "You know, I live on the fourth floor in my shop and I really enjoy living there, but I also consider to build a home on a different floor. With that orange cursor, it is a pain in the butt to get up to higher floors where the stronger mobs spawn without teleport crystals."

  7. Even though Aereth sometimes was pretty blunt, it didn't go unnoticed by the brunette that Kooh was avoiding to answer. But up until now, he knew when to dig deeper for an answer and when to stay silent about it and drop the matter. "To be honest, I could use some days of relaxing. The whole journey had more than enough excitement and tension. But I'm happy that you can go back now and live your life again without the threat of being killed everywhere you walk." Aereth replied with a smile. He had killed he had stolen and he slipped a tiny bit further ahead towards losing his sanity, but he would do it all over again.

    Slowly his left eyebrow started to rise once more, as the woman mentioned that he was about to find another girl to save and flirt with. "Hey, I'm just doing what I'm good at." he countered and gave her a slight slap on her butt as she walked past him out of the hut. He was eager to see if he would receive a fist to the face, a nice blush or maybe even both.

    "My plan? Searching around the hut until I find her." It wasn't the fastest course of action, but still, the best he could come up with in that short amount of time.

  8. It was crystal clear that the bluenette still had some feelings for Arc, and so Aereth was pleased to see that she at least considered to get in touch with that man somehow. And after she smirked and asked what Aereth would like to eat afterwards, he simply readjusted his blade in a backhand position and replied with a chuckle. "I'll tell you as soon as I'm done with these things." The brunette said and vanished in a blur. The area of effect sword art hit once again all targets. Although he intentionally didn't hit the queen, because he would need to take care not to take too much damage this time around.

    A familiar dull thud snapped him back to reality and as he looked back to his partner, he had to see that she fell again. "Take your time. I got this over here." Aereth replied with a chuckle and focused back on his opponents.

  9. The brunette was satisfied with the slight tint of a blush that formed on Kooh's cheeks as he countered her statement. Unfortunately, her expression turned to a quite uncomfortable one in a matter of moments. Aereth knew from looking at the blonde that she was conflicted for some reason. He just couldn't get behind the reason for it. As perceptive he was at some times, he still was pretty bad in reading females. But thankfully he also was very direct and asked straight away. "Anything troubling you? You should be happier about finally being able to get back home to your own bed."

    With that, he had finished his preparations and headed for the door. "I don't know why, but somehow I feel like I need to see if that girl is ok. Her message just sounded so forced. So awkward." he thought and waited for Kooh to exit the house.

  10. The battle between the bodyguard and Aereth went on for about two minutes before Aereth heard a female voice from behind him. Instinctively he prepared to swing his blade at the source of the voice but managed to stop himself just in time before he would have split the low-level player in half as he heard that two more players were on their way to this location.  "Damn. Why did this fool have to yell like an idiot?" He now had to weigh in different options. Option one: Stay and go for Klaus. Result: Most probably death. Option two: Finishing Laz, stunning Klaus and leave the area. Ding Ding Ding. We have a winner. "Option two it is then," Aereth mumbled. Laz would only need one more clean hit before he was done. "If you want to survive, stay close behind me and wait for my sign," Aereth said in an ice cold and calculative voice.

    In the meantime, Klaus only chuckled and rested the big battle axe on his shoulder. "Seems to me as if you and your little girlfriend are pretty f.." He didn't come to finish his sentence because he had to watch how a glowing fist got buried into Laz' face, which resulted in his virtual body to scatter into tiny polygons. No hesitation. No fear. No regret. Only cold determination was plastered on Aereth's face as he killed the person who was here to protect the leader. And without wasting some time Aereth continued his charge at Klaus who swung his weapon with the intent of ending the brunette's life. Aereth couldn't risk to dodge and probably miss this strike, so he took Klaus' blow with his left underarm, which got cut off clean. Fortunately, Aereth was able to change the direction of the attack so that it would miss the rest of his body. Immediately the brunette PKKer countered with a roundhouse kick aimed at his opponent's legs, effectively stunning him. "NOW." he shouted and started to dash away deeper into the forest in a southwest direction.

    @Blood sorry for crappy formatting and typos. Will (probably) correct them later. (Mobile Post)

  11. Aereth really could relate to his blue haired partner. He had closed his heart a long time ago and most definitely never would let somebody too deep inside it anymore. And besides that, who the hell would want to be with a mentally unstable, empty shell of a man anyways? But Birdie didn't have to end up alone just like him. "Maybe you should just shoot him a message and ask why he left you alone for such a long time? I'm sure he would answer if you tell him how much you are obviously hurt. You still have a chance to find him and talk to him." the brunette said.

    After their conversation came to a close Aereth also got up, and readied his weapon. "Let's get this quest done. Who gets the last hit on the boss has to pay the dinner." Aereth said with a smirk and ignited the flames of his armor once again.

  13. Aereth's chuckle turned into a small laugh, as Birdie told him about how she was cursing all the time before she entered Sword Art Online. "Haha. Same here. You wouldn't believe what my teachers told me about my creative ways to insult my classmates. And f*ck yeah, you are right. Who gives a damn about the way we speak? I don't so you can curse as much as you please when you are around me." he said before he managed to drop the mood.

    "Oh... I'm sorry to hear that... I know that it's really rough to see the person you love leave you... Seems like we somewhat have something in common on that matter..." he also looked up into the sky, thinking about how Alice was forced to leave because he wasn't strong enough to protect her.  "I didn't mean to make you feel bad..... Aaah. F*ck. I'm always like that. Every time I'm having a good time with somebody, I manage to make them feel bad after they talked to me...." Aereth said in a low and somehow sad tone. "But maybe you will see him again at some point..."

    @Birdie

  14. Both men seemed to be surprised and shocked by the quick attack of the brunette. But Aereth didn't care. He had found his target, and he would finish this job now. Aereth's blade got engulfed by a black aura, indicating that his phase enhancement triggered.

    The blade went through the armor of the bodyguard like a hot knife through butter. Now finally the gears in the heads of the two players started to work and they readied their weapons. "What do you want from us?" the bodyguard shouted at him, barely hiding the nervousness in his voice because he had already lost about 50% of his health before he was even able to do anything. Klaus on his side didn't seem to be worried at all and simply rose his hand to shut up his comrade. "Aaaaaah. The Killer of Killers, it seems.... You know that you're one most talked subjects in the underground lately?" Klaus grinned. "Of course you know. You're taking out the higher ups of many guilds lately. Just one doesn't seem to be troubled by your assaults. What do you have to do with the Laughing Coffin?" After hearing the words Laughing Coffin, the bodyguard got even more frightened.

    Aereth's ice cold and calculative eyes pierced through the head of Klaus, as he formulated his answer. "I don't think that this is any of your business. And besides that..." he charged at Klaus and started an attack, that the redhead managed to block with his huge battle axe. "... what's the point in telling dead men stories?"

    This time the bodyguard didn't waste much time and also unleashed a sword art at the brunette PKKer."DIIIIE." Unfortunately for him, Aereth saw the movement of him from the corner of his eyes and dodged in time. "Go, Laz. Take care of him." Klaus ordered seemingly annoyed by the insult of the brunette. Did Aereth really think that this would be such an easy task?

    @Blood

  15. Working, training, eating and sleeping was all the brunette PKKer was doing recently. He needed to keep up his end of the bargain in order to keep his people safe from the Laughing Coffin.

    Today was no different. He was currently hunting a player that was on the list he received from Sensui, the leader of the Laughing Coffin. He had been paying some good money to his info brokers to get the information that this particular person, Klaus from the White Snake guild, was going out into the northern forest of floor one to watch his new recruits doing some 'hunting'.

    Storing away the name list, Aereth finally came to see his target for today, accompanied by one bodyguard. The man featured a bulky build, a two handed battle axe on his back and fire red hair and a green cursor. The information Aereth received from the list about that player wasn't half bad. It also stated that his level was between 40 and 45 at the time this list got created.

    He would need to take care of the bodyguard first and then quickly follow up with Klaus before some more players would notice his absence. Aereth pulled up the hood and face mask and ignited the flames of his Flame Aura enhanced armour, before he activated his <<Charge>> skill and attacked the bodyguard with a quick draw maneuver of his <<Dimensonal Shift>>...

    @Blood

  16. Aereth chuckled. "Since when do you curse this much?" he bluntly asked while also dropping down to the floor in a sitting position. "But you are god damn right. We shouldn't miss this much with accuracy items equipped. Those stupid things are supposed to help us, not to produce miss after miss." It really annoyed him how the AI's in this game seemed to spontaneously be able to dodge everything they were throwing at them from time to time.

    Shaking his head, the brunette quickly agreed with the proposal of Birdie. "Yes, this is a very good idea. You have some really good single target damage, while I have at least some area of effect sword arts to work with." After that, some short moments of silence settled between them until Aereth decided to ask her something that was bugging him ever since she mentioned it. "Hey Birdie... Back when I told you about my killed girlfriend you mentioned something about how you wouldn't have been able to hold back if something like that had happened to Arc. I remember him from a couple of run ins and from the Rovian Wars quest we did together. But are you two a couple?" Aereth asked curiously, before noticing how rude he actually was. "You know what? Forget that. It is not my place to ask you stuff like that..."

    @Birdie

  17. Birdie seemed to make the best out of the situation, and started an attack on he own. She landed her sword art and destroyed one of the mobs for good. "Now." he thought and started his last mad dash towards the three remaining wasps. Aereth jumped and landed in a handstand exactly in the middle of all three wasps. His feet then began to glow, as he charged up his <<Tornado Kick>> sword art, before he twisted his body and hit every one of them with his 360° sweeping kick.

    "Finally..." he said as he pushed himself up after the mobs were all gone and landed back on his feet. "They were tougher than I imagined..." Aereth said with a glance at his health and energy. "Would it be ok for you if we rested a little bit? I would rather not fight that field boss at two third of my health and at 50% energy." Aereth said with a small sigh.

  18. "God. F*cking. Damn it." the brunette mumbled, as the barrage of attacks finally died down. He immediately had to keep on moving or else the mobs would start another attack on him. If they wouldn't have crited him, they would be dead by now by the effects of his Flame Aura. "I'm good. Don't worry." He replied to his blue haired party member. "How the hell can it be so difficult to land just one more hit on them?" he asked more himself than his partner while trying to get out of the defense and start attacking. But unfortunately, this was much easier said than done.

    The wasps seemed to be able to work together perfectly, each one covering the openings of the other. "I need more mobility..." he said and jumped out of a combination attack from the mobs, which resulted in them crashing into each other. While airborne, Aereth quickly equipped his material arts skill and prepared to land the finishing blow.

  19. "Well... It worked, so who am I to complain." Aereth answered after he pulled Birdie up to her feet again. It was time to change weapons for him, so the Dimensional Shift vanished, and Aereth quickly equipped his standard sword in combination with the accuracy ring he had received so long ago from the blue haired artisan. He then put the much shorter blade into a backhanded position. "I won't need the extra power anymore. Pretty much the next attack I manage to land will end them." Aereth said, as he suddenly heard the four nearly dead mobs charging at him. "Yeah, take your time. I'll end this."

    After that, the brunette also charged forward in order to intercept the four mobs. Aereth's other sword started to glow in a dark blue light indicating that he was charging up the last sword art. To Aereth's displeasure, the first mob dodged the attack in the last moment and retaliated with burying its stinger deep into Aereth's back. This resulted in Aereth's sword art to cancel, and his avatar being stuck in post motion delay for a couple of milliseconds. This was enough for the other three wasps to also land their hits on the brunette.

  20. All of the mobs turned their heads towards the bluenette, as she started to charge at them. Unfortunately for her, a virtual rabbit seemed to have problems with that fact. Birdies foot got caught in a rabbit hole and she fell face first to the ground.

    Aereth sweatdropped, but used the distraction nonetheless. His sword got coated in that dark aura once more, as the PKKer started to charge up his sword art once again. After all, the one handed straight sword still had some use for him. The blade swiftly cut through the bodies of the huge insects and left big red damage markers where it met their bodies.

    Aereth retreated and placed himself next to his blue haired partner. "Great job. That was totally planned, right?" Aereth asked with a small smirk on his face while offering her a hand in order to help her up again, though his eyes still on the four enemies.

  21. "Very well..." Aereth said and sped away from the spot at the exact same time as Birdie. He was preparing another one of his strongest area of effect sword arts, found himself caught off guard, as one of the four wasps he was currently fighting emerged from his dead spot. Dodging the attack on mere instinct, Aereth leaped forward, and rolled off in order to control his last resort evasion maneuver.

    The brunette PKKer then just got up in time to dodge the other three attack attempts of the remaining mobs. There was no other choice for Aereth as to dance through the quick and hard strikes of the wasps, in order not to get hit. "Uuuuum.... Birdie?" he gave out while ducking under an attack. "I could use a distraction of you have one..." he then added and rolled away to dodge another attack. He currently found himself in a position he really hated. Cornered by multiple enemies, that force him into his defense....

  22. Following the line the finger of the bluenette created, Aereth now also was able to see the group of mobs. "Exactly. God, how I hate these big insects. Believe me, if there was a quest with huge spiders, I'd be out.." Aereth said and removed his cloak to reveal his armor.

    Aereth gave back a deadpanned look, and simply nodded. "Sure. Just make sure to visit the monument from time to time if I don't make it." Aereth joked, and ignited the Flame Aura enhancement of his armor. Simultaneously his <<Dimensional Shift>> materialized into his left hand, and he was ready to battle. A smile crept over his face, when he activated his <<Charge>> skill in order to close the distance and get the first hit on the oversized insects.

    Aereth shot forward, and his blade began to emit a black aura as he was charging up the Shadow Explosion sword art. "One... Two... Three... Four..." Aereth counted mentally as the blade shifted through the defenses of the helpless insects. It really seemed like his phase weapon was doing a splendid job. Unfortunately he had not much time to celebrate, since the wasps now started to retaliate. Dodging by simply side stepping and jumping back a couple of times, he found himself back to back with his partner. "Everything alright on your end?" he asked, in a joking manner.

  23. "I know that I'm playing with fire, but I'm taking care. So don't worry. I'm not going for the big PK guilds at the moment. I'm just thinning out their ranks as good as I can. And I also know that the big fishes are way out of my league currently. My recent encounter with the head of the Laughing Coffin showed me that... But exactly that fact brings me here. I want to get stronger, and that quest will help both of us with that. I heard that the experience rewards are crazy good." Aereth answered. He needed to get quite some levels going. He was currently at level 44, which was not bad, but he needed to finally hit tier three if he wanted to pose any threat to the stronger players. And he for sure would sooner or later.

    "Like I said, I'm ready to go. My health points and my energy are full and ready to go." Aereth said, cracking his knuckles. "I think the quest description said that we should head this way until we find said chapel." He was wondering how Jonathan got that much information about the mobs here, but decided not to think too hard about it. He was already a frontliner, so maybe he had already met somebody who already had taken this quest...

  24. After two and a half hours of pushing the two guards to the edge of sanity, the guards finally decided to put some cloth into the mouth of the filthy mouth of the brunette. "Mmmhpfmmhsshhhm" was all he now could get out. He let out a sigh through his nose and hung his head back.

    How deep has he sunken... One day he was still hunting down some stupid PKers, and the other day he found himself imprisoned with some disgusting piece of cloth in his mouth. And it was all just because of him being too unprepared for the situation. He was too confident, too arrogant. And that cost him. If you are powerful enough, you can afford to walk into a situation unprepared, but if you wanted to do that, you had to be on a completely different level.

    He closed his eyes. If anybody found him the way he was right now... What was he even thinking. Nobody but Piglet and Pooh would see him today. He also hadn't seen any more unfamiliar players pass by his cell, so he assumed that they were currently having some kind of meeting. Yep. Nobody would see him, in his sorry state right now...

  25. "Yeah, glad to see you made it. I was already fearing that you were busy when I sent you the message." Aereth said to Domarus. He hadn't received an answer from the redhead after all... "And Keres. You look great today." Aereth said, knowing how empty the woman was inside. But unfortunately there was nothing he could do about that.

    The brunette chuckled. "Yeah, good to see some familiar faces. You've been fine as well?" he asked the bluenette, slightly worried about that she might feel uncomfortable around him after he had told him the truth about him.

    "Dang, and here I was thinking that would work. Seems like I'm not getting laid today." He said with a grin, and listened to the blonde front liner. He knew that he was playing with fire, with her being the player who killed Hikoru's former teacher, but up until now he was used to it. He didn't know the whole story about that matter, and that woman was by far out of his league, she would obliterate him in moments, so he just act as if he didn't care that she was most probably a killer.  "Yes. We indeed met a couple of times. Some event boss fights if I remember correctly, but you are right, we never had the chance to talk to each other." Aereth answered, before Ariel would equip her other cloak.
