Once the damage buff hit Cosi he nodded his thanks to Shield and then charged at the stump legged quartz golem. "That is a pretty nice skill then." Cosi shouted back to Shield as the blonde player ran towards the golem, his hammer already in motion. Cosi's sword art and buff enhanced strike hit the golem right in the mid section since the mob was much shorter now. The strike hit with a resounding crack as bits of quartz and rock flew off to then dissipate into particles of light. The now slightly less massive monster struggled to stay upright on its broken legs and it ended up having to stabilize itself with its own arms, giving Cosi the perfect opportunity to bash it right in the face with his follow up strike. Now the golem's face was a mashed in conglomeration of red lines and cracks that revealed the creatures pixelated innards.

A massive cracking sound filled the cavern as the golem's legs broke off at the knees and it fell onto the ground a second time. The cavern shook, rocks and dust falling from the ceiling, and Cosi had to stabilize himself on a nearby rock formation. After regaining his balance the blonde haired hammer user rushed towards the downed quartz golem and attacked the prone mob. His hammer flashed red as Cosi slammed it into the fallen monster's head and like hitting a nail into wood Cosi repeatedly hammered the golem's head into the cavern floor. After the onslaught Cosi jumped backwards, a motioned for Shield to go, "You're up." Cosi looked back to the golem as it began to rise from its fallen position, all of its joints creaking and cracking. "I wonder if it can even stand up now or if it can how is it going to? Still this will make the fight easier." 

Cosi lifted Inbrunst so Mars could see the two handed war hammer, "Got you covered there. I just need to put more ranks into it so I can actually deal some substantial damage." Cosi planted his hammer in the dirt and thought about Mars' question. After a minute Cosi answered, "I don't know mate. I expected this quest to go that fast as well but I didn't plan what to do afterwards. I guess we could just go grind mobs or if there's some other quests on this floor that you know of that would work as well."  As Cosi waited for the black clad martial artist to respond he began to pace around the area just inspecting the rocks and sand. The seventh floor wasn't much to look at. It was just a lot of dry grass, rocks, and mountains and that was about it. Actually a whole lot of rocks.

Taking advantage of Shield's counter Cosi charged in towards the golem and readied a sword art. The titanic mob's health was in the yellow now so, like Shield said, it would be dead soon. Once within range Cosi unleashed his Ultimate Breaker sword art, a very flashy name for only a rank two sword art. Inbrunst slammed into the golem's leg. Shards of rock and crystal went flying which soon shattered into pixels, and the monstrous sentient rock stumbled to one knee. The blonde haired player then swung his hammer in an upwards arc and the hammer head connected right on the golem's chin, snapping its head upwards and sending particles of light flying. The entire thing creaked and groaned as the golem slowly rose back to its feet. Both of its legs were covered in cracks and dents while its arms were sliced up from Shield's parries, and now it had a nice shiner on its face from Cosi. This mob is only a little ways from falling apart, probably literally.

The trio of tanks enters the prison of Tartarus and then begins searching for the hidden entrance to the banshee's lair. The prison was definitely not a nice or cheery place. The darkness and mist from outside seeped in cloaking the walls and rumble in fog and waking everything seem displaced. Worn tables and chairs lay up turned and broken. Chains and shackles hung from the walls and ceiling and of course over it all the banshee's awful wailing reverberated through the maze of a building. Cosi tried to help Haz look for a hidden passage way along the walls but because he had never done this quest before he was having trouble. Mostly because he had no idea what to look for. Is it a torch sconce I have to pull or simply a well disguised button on the wall? I have no idea, Cosi thought to himself as he continued to run his hands over the wall.

As the platinum blonde haired player stepped back beside his companion it took only a split second for the martial artists to rush towards the double headed serpent. Then Mars collided with the mob like a falling star, his fists glowing with energy smashing into the creature and just as fast as the battle had started it was over. The massive snake exploded into a million particles of light as it gave off one last roar. Cosi grinned, then chuckled, then started to laugh, and just kept laughing. By the time he had finally gotten a hold of himself he was sitting down on the sand wiping tears from his eyes. "Oh my gosh. Mars, everyday I tell myself that I'll catch up to you. That I'll be as strong as you but then I come out her and do a quest with you and you go and one shot the monster I can't even damage," The blonde haired player starts laughing again, "Its just so great." The player wipes another tear from his eyes, then extends a hand to be helped up, "But don't you worry mate: I will catch up to you." Cosi says with a lopsided grin but there's determination in his eyes.

Cosi nodded as Hei stood up. Both of the players were probably high enough level that nothing on this floor could really hurt them. "You're welcome mate." After making sure that Hei was fine the platinum blonde tank went back over to the pond he had been fishing at, picked up his rod, and then with a flick of his wrist he send the line sailing over the pond to land in the middle of the water. Ripples were sent out and Cosi then began to wait for a fish to hopefully bite. However after a good five minutes the player realized that he would be waiting for a good amount of time. When I dropped my fishing rod it must have disturbed the water and scared the fish away so know I will just have to patiently wait. The blonde haired player sighed. Too bad that I am not the most patient of people.

The event boss had gone into its third form- it seemed to have one for each health bar- and now Miraak had gone full demon. He was much, much stronger and faster but seemed to be burning himself up. In fact his last attack had been devastating. The demon had cloaked himself in fire and with inhuman speed had hit every player in the room dealing massive damage. Player's on every team dropped into the yellow and a few of the lower leveled one's dropped into the red. One, Sunova the white haired healer on Dom's team, even dropped all the way to zero. The demon, that once was the priest, picked up the girl's motionless, sank his teeth into her, and then she shattered into billions of light shards. Cosi was shocked, horror etched upon his face. He had never seen anyone die in this game especially not someone he knew. He hadn't know Sunova well but he had talked to her a couple times. She was Haz's and Neo's friend. She could have been his friend. Cosi stared in open horror at the demon. He didn't even recognize what was happening around him or whatever was begin said to him. The blonde player shook his head. He had taken a big hit so he pulled out a health potion and drank it and then he pulled out his sword. His eyes lost their terror- they were still empty- but they were determined. No one else would die in this fight. Not if I can help it.

Cosi felt the raw energy and strength fill his body and soul once Shield's red orb hit him. The blonde player nodded at Shield in thanks and then charged at the quartz golem. Cosi's movement's felt faster and simply put more powerful from the buff but that wasn't really the best thing. The blonde player stumbled once or twice when charging the mob but still he managed to stop and then swing his hammer at the monster. Except this time the massive golem was not  completely engrossed and focused on the front line tank so it saw Cosi coming and, surprisingly quick for such a big mob, moved out of the way of the blonde player's sword art enhanced attack. Cosi stumbled with the weight of the hammer head and nearly fell to his knees. He grimaced, straightened up, and then quickly moved back beside Shield. "Sorry Shield I whiffed the shot," Cosi gave a weak grin, "Kind of like the golem not too long ago."

As Shield parried the golem's earth shaking attack Cosi rushed in to continue harrowing the massive mob. He didn't do too much damage but still every bit of damage helped when facing a mob with that much health. The blonde haired tank got in close to their rocky foe, breathed in deeply, and swung with his hammer. The weapon glowed from the sword art and slammed into the Golem's other leg with a satisfying crunch. The golem stumbled and Cosi quickly swung the hammer in his hands to bring another sweeping hammer stroke smashing into the back of its leg. The mob groaned a shuddered, nearly stumbling as now both of its legs were covered in numerous cracks and dents where red pixels showed through. Cosi grinned and took a couple steps back to let Shield do his thing. Its a good thing I got this trinket. Cosi thought to himself as he glanced down at his diamond clasp. I've hardly missed since I've got it. I will definitely have to pay Dom a visit so I can thank him properly.

Right as a Shield's orb hit the blonde haired tank his limbs and body were instantly revitalized and filled with energy. Its like he couldn't tell how tired he was until he face topped off again- though he wasn't at full energy again. Cosi took the opportunity to charge the creature again right after it had attacked Shield. Cosi readied his sword art and then slammed Inbrunst into the back of the golem's leg. The strike shattered rock and smashed crystals leaving a second spider web of cracks on the creature's leg. Cosi then brought his hammer back a second strike and slammed it into the golem again. Again rock was was broken and lines of pixelated code was revealed. Shield had been able to poison the massive golem so that would help make up for the missed thorns damage from the golem's botched attack. Because of that hopefully killing the mob wouldn't take too much longer in a relative sense since the monster still had more than three fourths of its health left.

Cosi grins at Mars statement, "That's good to hear. What other quests do you need to do? Because if I haven't done them I'd love to tag along. I need to grind out more levels and get more Sp especially for this new build." Cosi then hefted his hammer, resting it on his shoulder and motioned with his other arm to have Mars enter the craggy area. Cosi would then move ahead and prepare himself for the field boss to spawn. And do it did. A giant two headed serpent lunged from beneath the rock and sand coming straight for the two players. The blonde haired tank quickly side stepped the mobs initial rush and swung his hammer at the massive serpent. Cosi's strike connected but most of the damage was deflected by the mob's thick scales. The blonde haired tank grimaced and quickly stepped aside before the field boss could attack. "You're up Mars!"

As Hestia brings out the glowstone and hands it off to Hazado a faint blue illumination falls over the trio of tanks. Cosi gave a lopsided grin and decided to have a little fun with Hazado. The blonde elbowed the player lightly in the side, "You feeling all better now little buddy?" Cosi gave a small chuckle and continued walking through the dark fog. Apparently the Banshee's lair was in the ruin of an old prison looking building so Cosi kept his eyes peeled for a structure that could match that description. Alas the blonde haired tank couldn't see anything that even vaguely resembled a building in this dark and mist covered part of the floor. "So... anyone else see where we're supposed to go?" Cosi looked back to his other party members, "Cause I really can't see where this banshee's lair, or whatever it is, is" Cosi peered around the immediate area again. He could still here the knell of the banshee. He just couldn't pinpoint where the unearthly sound was coming from.

Cosi nodded at Shield's call, "Got it!" and then prepared to attack the golem once Shield had drawn its attack. But in fact something all together surprising happened. The quartz golem fell flat on its face. Both players looked on dumbfounded. Cosi stared at Shield and echoed his sentiment, "That was... ah... a thing." Then as the great monster got to its feet Cosi rushed forward and struck at the mob. One stroke slammed into the weakened creature's kneecap causing it to shake and shudder. Then as the golem continued to rise the blonde player brought Inbrunst down on the creature's leg a second time. He did a moderate amount of damage but still the quartz golem had about ninety percent of its hit points left. This is going to take a long time, especially if the mob keeps missing Shield. Cosi checked his health and energy levels. Running low on Energy but Shield will take care of that. So I guess I just keep attacking.

Cosi mentally goes over his equipment again and again as he makes his way form the teleporter to the site of the quest: where Mars said he would met him. Inbrunst was strapped across his back, he had Allsehend clasping the edges of his grey cloak together, he was wearing his old armor Richter beneath his cloak until Hei made his new set and of course Ladon was wrapped around Cosi's neck like a scarf, along side his other simple blue vanity scarf. Cosi walks over the grassy plains and rocky flats to where the quest is, passing the time by simply staring at the vast mountain ranges around him. Once within sight of the quest marker Cosi spots a familiar figure. The blonde player raises a hand in a salute of sorts to the black clad player and calls out to him, "Mars! How are you doing?" Then once Cosi is closer he extends a hand, "Thanks for coming on such short notice. Shall we go make quick work of this quest?"

As Shield activated his howl skill and drew the golem's aggro Cosi caught his breath resting his hammer on the ground and leaning on it slightly. Using this hammer is a whole lot more tiring then my sword was. I'm going to have to watch my energy usage more especially since I can do AOE attacks now. And with that the platinum blonde haired player lifted up his weapon and moved in to attack the Golem a second time. This time didn't go as well as Shield's stun wore off just as Cosi moved in to strike. The quartz golem wasn't even remotely focused on the low level tank. It just charged towards Shield. But the mob was so big that simply its passage threw off Cosi's concentration on his sword art and even knocked the blonde player to his knees. Cosi rolled to the side and scrambled back to his feet before a large stone foot could crush him and watched as the golem went to attack Shield.

Cosi watched as Shield charged the massive crystalline golem, parrying its massive attack then scampering up its back to stun the creature. At Shield's behest Cosi rushed forward and swung his hammer at the monster's stony back. The hammer head barely connected, the blonde player's stance was off a bit, clipping the massive creature's stony leg. Cosi felt the weight of the hammer swing through and he quickly shifted his stance, drawing closer, and then slammed Inbrunst into the mob a second time. This hit collected into the rock appendage with full force and left a spiderweb of cracks that revealed lines of code. Cosi jumped back from the crystal golem just in case it would attack back. Cosi doubted he could handle more than one attack from this mob. "All yours Shield!" The blonde player shouted up to his companion. Now Shield could draw aggro with howl and Cosi would be free to attack the mob without much fear.

After Cosi killed the final two bandits and pumped fists with Shield, the dark haired tank told the aspiring tank to follow him. The two players made their way back to the main settlement on floor Nine and from there Shield led them to the main plaza and the teleporter. "Where are we heading Shield?" Cosi asked the merchant as he stepped into the teleporter. The answer to that question came when the front liner teleported away to Tomoika. The twenty first floor. "Oh boy." Cosi said with a sigh, "This should be fun." Then Cosi stepped into the teleporter and followed Shield to the twenty first floor. Cosi had been to the subterranean floor a couple times now but Shield was taking him to a place he hadn't been before. Some sort of mine. Shield then warn him that while this was a much higher floor but it wasn't the highest floor the front liners' had cleaned so this was just a glimpse of what he would be facing before long. Cosi nodded grimly and hefted Inbrunst. Apparently Shield was looking for a higher level monster for them to fight.

Two of the bandits practically threw themselves at Shield's thorns and then exploded into pixels of light while the other two began to retreat. Cosi wasn't about to give them that chance even before Shield said it was fair each of them getting two kills. Cosi sprinted ahead and readied a second AOE sword art. The blonde haired tank's first sweeping attack caught the nearest bandit in the side of the knee, the leg exploded into pixels and the bandit was thrown aside shattering into bits of light against the ground. Cosi then took a bounding step towards the last bandit, letting the heft of the hammer carry him. Cosi smashed the hammer head into the mob's shoulder hearing the man scream before the platinum blonde silenced him by bring the  the butt of Inbrunst down into the bandit's gut. The man exploded into pixels and code. Cosi was panting just a little- swing the hammer was much more tiring than swing his sword- but he managed to turn to Shield and give him a lopsided grin. "That was fun. Shall we go looking for more?"

Cosi nodded as Shield said that they were closing in on the camp and readied Inbrunst. "Let's do this." The blonde tank took a deep breath in as the front line tank moved over the ridge and into the camp. Cosi moved to follow just as Shield released his Howl drawing the bandits' attention and causing mass chaos. All the bandits rushed to attack the threat just as Cosi moved to attack. Cosi took another deep breath and released it as he prepared a sword art. Let's try one of my new AOE attacks. Cosi swung his hammer in underhanded swing just as the weapon exploded with light. The hammer head struck the bandit in the chest and tossed him the side but the hammer stroke seemed to carry the blonde further. Cosi stumbled slightly but he felt hammer smash into another bandit then Cosi felt charged ahead moving with the weight of his weapon. He brought the hammer down on the third bandit's head, then took a step and slammed the head into the final one's gut. Bandits stumbled and fell but none of them died which was expected but still disappointing. "None of them died? Come on!" Cosi said exasperatedly, "I guess you have to finish them off Shield."  

Cosi nodded with respect and thanks to Hestia. "Thanks again Hestia." and with that Cosi hefted his hammer Inbrunst, resting the two handed war hammer on his shoulder, and grinned to both of his fellow tanks. My build is still a work in progress and I don't have all of my gear but still this should be fun. Cosi began heading deeper into the darkness and mists swinging Inbrunst in large circles. The weight of the hammer was different than what the blonde player was used to but thanks to in game skills he was already better at it then he ever was with the sword. The platinum blonde looked back to make sure that the others were following him when he heard a horrid wailing in the distance. And it was getting closer. "Guys. Its time." And with that Cosi settled into a stance and gripped his hammer in both hands.

Cosi followed Shield through the craggy and lava covered landscape as the man talked about the floor itself, the quests on it, and the quest they would be taking on today. Cosi listened intently before speaking, "Sounds like a plan." The two then left the plains and entered a more hilly and rocky area. Gravel slid under foot but Cosi was used to hiking in the real world so he only had one slip up which he catch himself on. Then Shield asked about the platinum blonde's familiar. Cosi looked down at the emerald green snake beneath his cloak and wrapped around his neck. "So far so good. I haven't been on any real quest with him so this will be Ladon's first real test." At the mention of his name Ladon opened his eyes, glared at Cosi, then promptly fell back asleep. He must like this warm floor. Its probably a lot better than our home floor.

The blonde haired tank made his way back to Domarus' artisan shop. This item had taken a little while longer than the last one but Cosi didn't mind, Dom did good work. Cois entered the shop and was greeted by Domarus'... maid, servant, friend? Cosi didn't know. But unlike last time she was not all poise and politeness. In fact she gave him a dagger stare, gestured to his item and then practically told him to get lost before storming off into the back room. Cosi picked up Allsehend a little worriedly, shouted towards the back room, "Thank you Dom!" and exited the shop. I don't know Domarus too well but it may do to pay the man a non-business trip some time soon. 

Cosi had just finished inking in costs and for identifying and prices for general goods as well as cleaning up his work space some more and setting up his general stock area. Now there is only one more thing to do. Cosi took a deep breath, walked over to his window that faced the road entering Snowfrost, and flipped over the sign that said Closed to the side that said Open. Then the platinum blonde player headed into his work room to get something then he headed out side. The tank player exited the shop with a wooden pole that was a couple inches taller than him and walked out to the roadside. There Cosi set up the wooden pole which was in fact a sign post with an arrow pointing back to his shop and the words The Wayward Market carved into the wooden sign. Cosi looked up at the sign and smiled, "Now if I only got some customers.

Floor Ten was another underground floor which meant it was dark, full of weird plants, gloomy, and a little creepy as well. So when Hazado showed up it kind of scared the blonde haired player a little. "Dang it Haz your spooked me." Cosi got a better look at his friend and followed up his statement, You actually don't look so good mate. Not a fan of the dark?" Before the other tank could answer Cosi heard more footsteps and turned to see the third member of this impromptu party: the frontline tank Hestia. Cosi gave a half salute to Hestia. "I'm doing good. How about yourself Hestia? Also thanks for coming at such short notice." This quest would be a difficult one so having Hestia for this field boss would be invaluable. Cosi would send out a party invite to both of the tanks as he waited for their responses and then pulled out Inbrunst. "Do we need a moment or shall we get going?"
