Requirement: Must have access to the Disguise Extra Skill, and have killed at least 100 Gemini.

Gleaned from extensive study of the Gemini, the Player learns to modify his own appearance and grant limited autonomy to his shadow, imbuing it with instruction and enabling it to appear as a duplicate of himself that can act independently.  This shade can also divide itself into multiple further copies.  While not able to attack in any way, these duplicitous shadows serve as ongoing distractions during combat and carry potential for a broad variety of clandestine purposes.

"Nice," Bahr mumbled as he inspected the shield, seeing that it had now become imbued with the same angelic energy he carried along with his coat. It had aided him well in countless battles - and now, seeing as his health pool had been slashed virtually in half, he expected that it would be a welcome addition to his arsenal once more. There was never telling when something could go horribly awry. Lord knows it had happened to him often enough.

As the items disappeared back into Bahr's inventory, another was summoned and placed on the table. Contrasting the harsh clashes of before, this one settled silently - as though it wasn't truly there at all. "Forgot about this one. Had some upgrades in mind. You have a couple more in you?"
 

Bahr was amazed that the shop was still up after all this time. Though he'd completed the special dungeon (twice), he'd failed to actually spend any of the currency he'd accrued during the time in which he interacted with it. Which was a shame, because apparently there were oodles of magnificent goods to choose from within.

But, if he were being honest, there was only one that he truly had his sights set on. Asgard's Finery, an item which promised to either make an item unique, or extend its prowess beyond normal means. Bahr wasn't exactly sure what he would actually end up using the damned thing for, but there was something to be said about having an ultra rare, ultra powerful upgrade in your back pocket for when the time arose. There was no telling when everything might change at the drop of a hat, and he might need to take inventory.

Anyways, he went in, spend the shards, got the item, yadda yadda. Everyone else did exactly the same thing he did.

Since the system update, everything had been... different. Among the changes was the inexplicable new ability that Merchants... er- Appraisers had to reroll enhancements on identified gear. Since Bahr happened to know an Appraiser on the very Floor he lived on, along with owning a variety of shields that were great but could be better, one of the first things he resolved to do after waking up after the update and assigning his new skill points was to go to the dude's cave and see if he was in.

Miraculously, the violet-maned tradesman was there. Sleeping at his counter, as usual. He stirred as Bahr plopped an arrangement of four shields on the countertop mere inches from the slumbering salesman's head.

Her words rolled around in his head for a moment while he contemplated. The more pessimistic side of him wanted to take her up on his offer to shirk the work, go back home, and crawl back into bed. It'd certainly be warmer there. But as his mismatched hues scanned the concern that rode along her visage, he could tell that there was a different warmth waiting for him here. In a flash, Dawn's Demise ribboned into existence in his palm, and he heaved the metal slab against a nearby pine. It didn't budge. No matter how hard he exerted himself, or whatever manner of unflattering grunts and hollers he let loose, an <<IMMORTAL OBJECT>> signal always heralded his defeat at the hands of these woods. To be fair, it wasn't like he'd dug too far into the possibility of chopping down trees in Aincrad. He just knew that, if they were to do it, it wouldn't be with his typical display of one-size-fits-all brutality.

"I, uh, don't know how we're supposed to do it." The sheepish grin that followed only served to cement his coy playfulness. He could have just asked her, 'How do we go about this?' But no. Any opportunity to let her flex her intelligence was a welcome gift. It was, after all, one of the things that had so attracted him to her. "You have any idea?"
