  1. Ciela waved slightly at Etherial after being introduced to their new party member by Wulfrin, "You'll be fine, between me tanking hits and Wulfrin doing damage, you just have to sit there and look pretty." She smiled at Etherial. "We would much rather keep you safe." She looked over to Wulfrin and her palm collided with her hand, "You didn't research the quest before coming down here?" She shook her head and made a tsk noise. "Mr. I'm always prepared." She mocked him and chuckled. Unfortunately she didn't think to put any research into it either since Wulfrin usually knows what he's doing
  2. Ciela had spent the morning preparing a meal for the two of them, they had been going on frequent picnic dates so she packed it to go. She had just sat down and buried her nose back in her book when Wulfrin came home. Lucky thing too. Wulfrin had that glint in his eye. She knew that glint all too well. He'd found another quest for them to go on. Or better yet, he'd found more info on the Tech skills he's been wanting to collect. He treats those skills like pokemon cause boy does he "gotta catch em all." She didn't mind though. It meant more experience for her and experience was needed. Es
  3. Ciela laughed at Katoka blinking at Wulfrin's ostentatious entrance, "Yes, that is a regular occurrence. If we get separated he uses his little fire chicken, Solaris to find me." Ciela smiled at Mina. "I like to be prepared too. Here. It doesn't provide any mechanical benefits. But they are quite tasty." Ciela materializes a little tin for each of them. Inside was her specialty. Fresh and warm croissants with different flavors and fillings. She wasn't sure what they liked so she wanted to make sure all bases were covered. Wulfrin's croissants were sandwiches with ham and cheddar on them
  4. Ciela watched Freyd battle the king, she was puzzled as to why he was called "Bob" but she went with it. She's given random things random names before so she assumed this was as such. She planned to ask him more about it later. Ciela looked over at Wulfrin, then stopped her gaze upon Nymoria. She signed over to Nymoria, "I'm not doing much to hurt him either. Freyd and Wulfrin are the damage dealers. We can just sit here and look pretty honestly." She chuckled. She wasn't worried one bit that we all couldn't fight this battle. Freyd had the health to take the hits, and "Bob" seems to hav
  5. As Wulfrin returned with the chest he had found, she placed a soft and gentle kiss upon his head. "Does that help?" She smiled and gently petted his head. She nodded when Wulfrin asked her to watch his back, "Of course." She scanned the area diligently, making sure no enemies were coming up behind them. She peeked at him every so often, attempting to see if she could peek at what was in the chest. They were in agreeance that after this they were going home and she couldn't wait. She was tired and spent for the day. She was ready to curl up in Wulfrin's arms while reading a book.
  6. The two of them were having worse luck than ever as the Nepent's health grew lower and lower. It seemed as if they were never gonna actually land an attack on this uncanny valley looking creep. Ciela watched Wulfrin activate his sword art, and covered her mouth as he tripped on a rock. She watched him roll, "Are you okay!?" Then she heard the loud resounding BONK. She stifled her laughter, looking Wulfrin over and making sure he was alright before doubling over laughing. "I don't mean to laugh but that was literally bonk.mp3." She finally calmed herself and remembered the task at hand. Re
  7. Ciela followed up Wulfrin's attack. As she went in for her attack the Nepent slithered out of the way and swiped at her and Wulfrin with one of it's vines. They both managed to get out of the way off the attack. She wished that she had a way to get hate so that the extra damage on her armor could proc and it would die sooner. She looked at the Nepent and shuddered as it was too human for her liking. The human lips and teeth with the plant body and vines for limbs just made her unsettled. "It healed a bit! You should be able to get it. Just don't miss." Ciela then stepped back a bit and lo
  8. Wulfrin had led the pair through the forest and into a large clearing. Ciela had already begun to hear the boss music playing in her head before the boss even appeared, she knew what was about to happen. Her first floor boss. She'd come a long way since the beginning of their journey. Yes, she was getting kneecapped by the system. But she wasn't too worried about it. Their stats were high enough before being kneecapped that no matter what this wouldn't be a challenging fight. The large plant had human teeth and lips, she shuddered as it emerged. It reminded her of some kind of man-eating
  9. Ciela was more than slightly baffled when Freyd stated that the king's name was Bob. "Is that just a nickname for him or is that actually his name? If that's legitimately his name that is really funny." Ciela responded to the message sent by Nymoria, "I'll try. Wulfrin is our second best bet for actually doing damage to the king." Ciela dashed toward the forgotten king. Activating her sword art at just the right moment as she laid her blow into him like a very small knife cutting through a very large very thick stick of butter. She knew he wouldn't take much damage due to her low dam
  10. Ciela prepared her attack against the woman. Ciela kept her mind sharp. She wasn't going to let the woman's looks distract her from what needed to be done. * * *
  11. Ciela hesitated a moment then agreed. "Fine, your duel. You pick the place." Ciela wondered who this was. She hasn't been cross to any players at all, so why was this woman challenging her? As they walked toward the waterfall with the pond Ciela felt uneasy. The atmosphere felt as if it were darkening, almost as if there was some kind of bubble around the two. They finally arrived after what seemed like forever to Ciela. The entire time she racked her brain, trying to figure out how this woman knew her. While Ciela was distracted, the hooded figure ran towards her. To which she step
  12. "So you are the one following me. Why are you following me?" She faced the hooded figure. Her hand still on her sword. "I heard you're trying to climb the ranks, even gotten close with a few high ranking players. Figured I'd see what all the fuss is about." Ciela could hear the evil grin creeping through the woman's voice. "You want a duel? Is that seriously it? You didn't have to follow me and bully me if all you wanted was a duel. You could've just asked." Ciela scolded the figure like a mother would scold her child. "Where are we dueling? Since it's all so important to you." Cie
  13. Ciela and her sea otter companion continued through the village. That feeling of being watched did not escape Ciela's mind. She equipped her armor and had her sword and shield at the ready as the pair exited the city. Ciela then noticed a person in a dark, hooded robe. She put her hand on her sword and watched the hooded figure, taking note of their every move. She assumed they were an NPC and began to pay them no mind. That feeling that she was being watched began once more. Was the hooded figure the one watching her the whole time? She turned to where she saw the hooded figure and
  14. Ciela nodded, "But at least damage is spread around." She looked at her feet as she splished and splashed her feet on the surface of the water. She giggled at his statement that he misspoke and decided to use it as a moment to tease him. Ciela elbowed Wulfrin playfully. She smirked and winked at him. "Soon it'll be my bed too. We're gonna be sharing that bed before too long." She continued splashing her feet on the surface of the water. She grabbed a stick off the ground nearby and she used it to lazily search for materials. "Well my energy is pretty much full, shall we? If we're for
  15. She became flustered as her face pressed up against his chest and he ran his fingers through her hair. His hug was so comforting. "I-I didn't mean to. I just got really excited..." She said still burying her face up against his chest. She could stay like this forever. She truly didn't want it to end. Ciela thought about what was to come. The wedding and probably immediately after they'd get called to the frontlines. She worried about if she'd be strong enough to even be on the frontlines in time. As Wulfrin released her and wiped her tears she asked, "What if I'm not strong enough to be o
  16. "My energy is a tad low to go again. But if you want to, give me a second to recuperate. I'll let you start this next one." She puts away her sword and bridges the gap between the two. She became flustered for a moment, "Also, sorry I rushed you through lunch.. I just... I got really excited." Without thinking Ciela goes to bury her face against Wulfrin's chest so she could give and receive a hug. Ciela collided with Wulfrin's chest plate and immediately regretted the decision. Thankfully the pain wasn't awful due to the pain absorbers of the system but it still shot through her face. It felt
  17. As Wulfrin killed one of the wolves, Ciela began to prepare her next attack. Her strategy wasn't doing more damage, but to spread the damage around to each wolf. The more wolves she hit the better. She activated her AoE sword art and performed a swipe attack at the wolves. She'd hoped they were distracted enough by Wulfrin's attack that she could claim the killing blow. Two of the wolves exploded into a million tiny fractals, but one remained. It was ever so close to death had it not dodged her attack. She swiped away the loot menu and continued to pay attention to the combat. Since she a
