Hikoru heard Itzal and Morgenstern approach behind, and he watched as Itzal attacked for a bit of Damage and Morgenstern howled. The creature was paralyzed and was about to stand, when Hikoru hit his mark, dealing a large amount of damage to the small creature, and he gave a small smile. He got his revenge, and he was good with letting someone else finish it and get the loot, as he was busy with something else, as the last feline in their area appeared beside his fallen comrade, and it let out a low growl. He took a step back and made sure to keep his distance. His health was already a bit low, and he didn't feel like taking his chances of another good attack on him

"Morg, gain hate for this one too. Itzal, get the others to finish it off, I'll go for the strong one." He turned back to Sey and Aereth "If you got any good AoE, now would be a good time to use it!" He said, and gave them a clear shot by moving to the side, where they could pass him.

Sey would place his spear up when he saw the new monsters, prepared to jump in. The one unfortunate mistake that he ended up making was him not changing into his accuracy build, and to be honest, it was heavily needed compared to his healing abilities once again. It was an unfortunate truth, but at least it was something he could refuse for now. Bosses were a thing, and they probably would require his first aid skill, and he refused to believe otherwise... Mainly because he invested a nasty amount of skill points into it. It was something that was part of the balance build though, and it will have a use eventually he figured. He tried to slice through the monsters, but to end up having that be as effective as punching the ocean, as they would all successfully get out of range from the tip of his spear. With that, he would jump back, not looking to waste too much energy.

Aereth reached the place where Hikoru and Jon where fighting with another two felines simultaneously with Sey. The silver haired boy charged at the two beasts, trying his best to do some damage to them, but unfortunately missed every attack he threw at them, due to the creatures perfectly dodging every strike. Aereth grinned. With the mobs occupied with dodging Sey's attacks, Aereth could blindside them and maybe land a decent hit on them. He sneaked up to one of them, charged his sword art, and released it on the feline. Both his Bleed and Paralyze enhancements activated, and the virtual body of the feline hit the ground, now unable to move. Very pleased with the outcome of this attack attempt, Aereth nodded with his head in @Sey's direction, and retreated back to the tank paladin Jonathan. He didn't quite know who would attack the felines next and thus stayed ready for a possible attack order of his superiors...

Jonathan would watch as another Feline would show its face, beginning its assaults on the other two players. He readied to activate another <<Howl>> skill, but Aereth was already on the move, striking it with a paralyze attack. Jonathan nodded his approval and continued to attack, moving after the newly paralyzed victim. He slashed with power alternating strikes, bringing the second Felines health down even further. "Alright Hikoru. Focus on the second one. Aereth, Sey. One of you attack with an AoE to finish off that first one. Itzal and Hikoru, focus on killing the second one. I believe the both of you together should be able to finish it off" He nodded to Hikoru and raised his shield, preparing himself for any oncoming attacks. The player in front of him should be able to finish the two creatures off, and they should be able to move onto the boss.

Hikoru's orders seemed to be ignored again, and he grit his teeth. What he had just said was repeated by Morgenstern, as if he never said it at all. He went to charge for the creature, but then veered a sharp right, disappearing from sight thanks to his cloak. He was still in combat and could easily attack, but since he didn't seem to be there, he would make it seem that he wasn't. He was out of sight and un-equipped his blue cloak to hide himself better, and lowered to the ground quietly. He didn't care if he was found, but if they seemed to think that he wasn't needed, then he would sit here and relax as far as he was concerned. If they needed him he would come and attack, but it was time for them to prove that they did belong on the frontlines, and he would be the one that would be judging them for this.

Communication.  That was something this guild needed very much.  Nobody really communicated, or paid attention enough.  While Itzal was no exception he wanted to bridge this gap by listening to everyone and communicating his thoughts.  When Hikoru ceased combat and leaped into the shadows Itzal looked after him, clearly confused as to what his strategy was.  He chose to have faith in the player and trust that whatever he was doing it was to help them get past these last mobs and or to better fight the boss.  Perhaps he was low on energy?  But if he was then why didn't he let them know?  Once again he thought, communication.  He just hoped this could work out in the end.  He only really had two sword arts:  A stun and an AoE.  He decided to use his Aoe to finish off the first one and deal the same to the second one...  After all both sword arts dealt the same damage.  He charged forward, his sword and Velnia suddenly covered in lightning, and released Shadow Explosion, destroying one of the mobs and landing paralysis and bleed on the second one.  "Sey!  You're up!"

"You what, mate?" Sey joked with the command to prepare for an attack as he would raise up his spear once again, preparing for an attack as he would look at the remaining monsters. Hopefully he would not screw up this time, but it was more of a luck based thing as he noticed when more and more time passed. Fortunately for him, he was one of the luckiest people he knew. With that, he would then proceed to attack as the swift slice from his spear would successfully pull through on the first strike. The second attack would hit the second monster, forcing the same amount of damage to strike it before the final third one ended up taking the hits. They were not dead, but they all entered the red zone. They were not too far from the end of this battle now. "Well @Aereth, it looks like things are up to you now, buddy." The snow-haired player explained as he would casually walk back to the safe spot.

Sey attacked the mobs with an area of effect sword art, and ripped a decent chunk of their health points away. "Good job, my friend. Now let's see if I'm able to do just as good as you." Aereth replied to the silver haired boy when he retreaded back to the group.

After that, he started to charge at the mobs, and readied his sword art, in order to get them in the range where Itzal would be able to finish them of with the last hit. Unfortunately however, the mobs evaded every attack of the brunette with ease, and so Aereth had to retreat back behind the lines of his guild mates. "Damn, seems like my game isn't on point right now..." he mumbled under his breath. Maybe he should go over his skills and stats after this day in order to check if everything was alright with his accuracy.

Jonathan would continue the fight, against the last opponent. "Keep fighting!" He would call before setting himself up in a defensive stance. The feline would claw at his shield, but would not make any progress to his health bar. He would chuckle before clamming his shield into the feline, causing it to fall back. "Alright Hiko-.... Hikoru?" Where had the man gone? "Umm...." He stood there. What to do now? "Itzal, if Hik left as well, your up" Something had been wrong with this guild for a while now. Nobody seemed to be as much of a family as they used to be. They had become the KoB, just less greedy. Aereth moved forward then, striking it and dealing full damage, bleeding and paralyzing it. Jonathan smiled. "Nice work Aereth, we can get this done quickly!" He looked around for Hikoru one final time.

Hikoru watched with curiosity as they all did their turn at doing their attacks, Itzal and Sey making their mark but Aereth missing his shot, then Morgenstern taking his defense against the small cat. He gave a small nod and jotted down a few mental notes to tell the others. Hopefully they would help. At the end he would give them the layout of what he noticed and then they would prepare for the fight. For now he would enter stealth and watch, ready to charge in and take out the last straggler if he needed to. He let out a small sigh and waited for them to finish. He didn't know how long it would take, but he knew that it wouldn't be long. After this it would be the boss and then they would be out of here with the loot they had acquired. He watched with patient eyes, ready to see what he could notice, and hoped that he could help them for the future.

Itzal knew Hikoru was not going to help them with this fight.  For what reason Itzal didn't know however.  Regardless he shouldn't just leave them in the middle of battle, especially when they were a family.  If he had went to stealth to launch a sneak attack he could have finished them off already.  Thus it was clear he had no intention of aiding them in any way whatsoever.  Itzal nodded to Jonathan.  Whatever happened, he was going to need to have a talk with Hikoru after this.  He charged his sword art and nodded.  "Unfortunately Hikoru decided to abandon the fight," Itzal said quietly to Jonathan, knowing that Hikoru might be watching from the shadows, "Let's not stop, we need to clear this dungeon out."  He charged forward and released Nova Ascension on the monster, shattering it into a thousand crystals.  Itzal saw the reward menu pop up:  One thousand, six hundred and forty four col as well as a tier one damage potion.  He closed the menu and turned to the others.  "Let's rest up really quick.  If Hikoru didn't help us finish off this mob and if he really is gone, there's a chance he won't be willing to fight the boss, though it doesn't sound like him to just drop out of a fight and let everyone fend for themselves.  However if that is the case we'll need our energy before continuing further."

"How hard is a monster from the dungeon we are in supposed to be anyways? There is a whole party of us, we should have it taken out of here within about a hit or two." He would explain, his hands behind the back of his head as he closed his eyes and proceeded to walk back in forth, not really caring so much as to what the plan was supposed to be in the first place. He was only going to step back and let the rest decide, as he would rather not end up dealing with many more things after the boss. On the plus side, he was somewhat pleased as well, considering the rewards that could come out from doing the job. At this point in time, he needed as many skill points as he could possibly rack up. "Hm, it seems that we are going to have to locate the boss though. Unless it just lurks around in circles, in which case... Well, better hope there is enough rest."

Sheathing his blade once more, Aereth simply dropped to a sitting position, and waited for his energy to get back up to full again. He himself had more than enough energy left for the upcoming boss fight, but his partners in crime needed to regain their energy. Sighing, Aereth couldn't help but to wonder how the sub dungeon boss would look like, and how strong it would turn out to be. Aereth knew that he himself wasn't going to be mega useful in this battle, but at least he could try his best and help where he could.

Taking out another bottle of water, Aereth also thought about how he would tell Itzal and the other about him leaving the guild... "May as well only tell Itzal, and he should talk to the others about it..." he thought before bringing the bottle up to his mouth, taking a big sip of the water.

Itzal turned to Sey when he said that and nodded.  "Well yeah it should be fast, but note that not only has Birdie left, but Hikoru vanished as well.  Whether or not he's still here and just not aiding in the combat anymore I'm not certain, but the point is we're down two players.  With Jonathan tanking however, we shouldn't have an issue.  Especially with the boss.  I doubt it's going to be as difficult as we're imagining, since there's only one of it and no minions.  Not only that but have you noticed that we've been taking our time with this?  We haven't really rushed through it like we should be."  He stretched as he sat down.  As much as he disliked it, guild events like daily raids would need to consist of only players who were active and swift.  They'd need to have a meeting soon enough because there was just too much to discuss individually.  "Also, I doubt we'll have to actually search for the boss.  This entire journey's been heading down a single tunnel so it's probably just at the end of it."

Hikoru decided to keep moving forward. He could move on his own and be fine, so he wasn't entirely worried about this last boss fight. He moved to the boss room and soon came upon a large room, where a large, and slightly overweight humanoid cat sat on a throne. It wore a black and white suit with a cigar in it's mouth, and it didn't look pleased. He took his chance and struck the cat in it's pudgy belly. He gave a crooked smile and backed away as he saw where the cat looked so familiar. The large feline gave a low, angry-sounding purr.

"You dare disturb me... on the day of my daughter's wedding..." It said in a slightly italian voice "Prepare to die." It said and soon stood, going for an attack towards Hikoru. But he was too fast and moved away from the swipe easily, grabbing his dagger "Sorry, I have a date later this afternoon, and I don't want blood on my new suit." He said in retaliation, hoping that he could send the large creature into a blinding rage, so its attacks would become clumsy and easier to kill.

Itzal heard doors opening in the distance and turned with a curious look.  "Hang on guy's I'm going to go check that out."  He rose to his feet and walked down the tunnel and his eyes widened.  The boss doors were opened and he could see Hikoru fighting the boss.  He would have enjoyed the boss a lot more if it weren't for the fact that Hikoru had decided to fight the boss on his own despite the fact that this was a dungeon the Guild was supposed to handle together.  Frustrated he called for Velnia who showed up only two seconds after his call and charged in drawing Dragon's Soul.  He rushed at the monster and released Nova Ascension, stunning the monster and dealing decent damage.  Afterwards he shot Hikoru a look that showed a hint of frustration.  "Hikoru!  We're supposed to be working together, not running up and soloing it!  If you wanted to get this over with at least let us know ok?!"

Hikoru heard footsteps approach and he turned to see Itzal come and attack, hitting the large feline and triggering a stun, causing him to stumble and fall. He heard about wanting to leave and he let out a small sigh. While he was a decent levelled player, he was still far weaker in damage and MIT compared to him, and he knew he could solo this. He didn't want to put the others into harms way, as he didn't know how powerful it could have been. But looking at it now, he realized that it wasn't much of a threat. But his point still stood.

"If I take care of this now, we can leave, and there's less chance of the others dying. I would much rather die than have you guys die, so your going to have to deal with how I work." He sliced and soon dealt a large amount of damage to the large creature, who only moaned in protest. He looked back "Anything else you have a problem with Scout?" He asked, using his title instead of his name to insure that he knew that he was not happy about this.

Itzal sighed upon hearing Hikoru's words.  "I appreciate that you are looking out for them Hikoru.  I really do.  But think about it:  If we weren't sure they could have survived a dungeon why would we have brought them?  Not only that but we chose an intermediate dungeon rather than an advanced.  None of us have dropped to low health yet.  When are you going to actually trust them instead of insisting that they can't do it?"  He rushed at the boss who was coming to and released Nova ascension on it again.  It didn't stun it again of course but that was expected.  He hadn't unlocked Meteor break just yet and thus the only other sword art was Shadow Explosion which dealt the same damage but more of an energy cost.  "We're a family Hikoru.  You need to have faith in them just as I try to have faith in you.  I'm not saying we're perfect, we've made mistakes today, don't think I haven't noticed.  I made some myself.  But that's why we need to work together in order to fix those mistakes and push forward."

Hikoru listened and nodded as he spoke, understanding his words and the meaning behind them, but he still felt that it was his job to protect them. He spoke of the word family, and he just chuckled at his own thought. He moved quickly and swiped at the Don, quickly finishing it off into pixels as the lights dimmed in the sub-dungeon. They place was completed and soon the rewards came with a small popup icon. He accepted them and totaled up the rewards for the fights. They had gotten a good haul, and he was proud of them. He looked back at Itzal and gave him a nod

"Well if were a family, then I guess im like a mother, watching out for my children and little ones and protecting them by keeping them away from dangerous things." He said, flipping his dagger in his fingers as he said it. He sheathed his dagger and looked to an exit that was behind the throne that seemed to disappear. "Well, i'm out. I have some business to attend to." He said, and looked back "Get them out of here and well meet up at a later date again. Until then Itzal." He said, then left out the big door, entering the open once more.

Itzal watched as Hikoru finished off the boss, said what he had to say, and walked off.  Itzal sighed.  "Except you don't have to do that on your own," he whispered softly to himself.  He wished Hikoru could have more faith in them but he couldn't force such a thing.  He sighed and turned to the others who seemed to be catching up.  Hik was gone by now.  "Hikoru rushed up to fight the boss.  I ended up helping him out.  He left...  Come on guys let's head out.  We've got a lot more col to get the guild hall with and a few materials.  Let's go."  Honestly this day wasn't the best and he would be calling a meeting with the paladins soon enough.  Perhaps he'd even bring the sentinels with him.  Regardless of what happened it was clear that things needed to change or they wouldn't be going on much longer.  However Itzal felt that they could add or remove from the guild without too much of an issue as long as they communicated, and kept the morals that founded the guild intact.  So long as they had that they should be good.
