Enya 0 Posted 18 hours ago #81 Share Posted 18 hours ago (edited) Sitting on one of the roof tops in the town of beginnings, her drawing pad out. She was sketching someone who was sitting on the fountain with their own drawing pad out. Enya had seen this woman a few times but hasn't said anything. She thinks the main reason why she hasn't approached the woman was because of how flirtatious she would be toward others. "Did you hear about that party of floor 24? Next to that big crab boss" "Yea there is suppose to be lots food there" Enya would look over the roof to find two players just "Are you going?" "Nah bro I have stuff to do." That was when those two people walk into the building they were standing by. "A party? Wonder if this is any different that the parties my parents threw back home." Turning and sliding off the roof top she looks to the woman sitting on the fountain. Taking a deep breath as she walks that way. Approaching her with her drawing pad in her arms. "Apparently there is a pool party or something going on on floor 24. You should take a small break from drawing and come. I'm heading there now." With a smile she walks on top of the teleport gate, "I'm Enya by the way, I also am an artist. Floor 24" @Abelithsaying before vanishing. Following the music that was going on, she would put her drawing pad away not wanting to get it wet. Going through her inventory, equipping a bathing suit. It was a one piece brown color. Nothing too fancy. There was a lot of people here, almost to many but she would manage. Walking through the crowd, she was small so it was easy for her to go unnoticed. Grabbing a drink from a passing cart in excitement, she had never had a soda before. Opening it up with a hiss, it smelling of sugar greatness. She would take a sip, sigh as head to the sands near the water. Pushing her can in the grain as a cup holder she would start to build a sand castle. Right before doing this she sends a quick message to Kodo with the party location. This was going to be fun. <<Assist System Engaged: Assisting Warren>> Level: 22 Paragon: 0 Tier: 3 True Tier: 2 Final EXP reward: +205% Final EXP reward Enya | HP: 80/80 | EN: 26/26 | DMG: 6 | ACC:1 Spoiler Enya, The Artist True Tier: 1 Level: 22 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 80/80 EN: 26/26 Stats: Damage: 6 Accuracy: 1 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Rare Rapier: +1 DMG, +1 ACC Edited 16 hours ago by Enya
Reytac 0 Posted 6 hours ago #82 Share Posted 6 hours ago Debating on whether or not to accept the odd invitation that had gone out had taken Reytac nearly an hour to decide on. Getting some beach shorts and a loose shirt had been easier, if drawing odd looks from the vendors on the first floor where he still spent most of his time. But even that hasn't been what took the most time - no, that had been tracking down and getting two things to bring to the broil. It might have been a while since he went to a party like this, but he hadn't forgotten what it was like to go there. And since he wasn't directly invited - he'd been in more of a general 'hey if you're alive and kicking, show up' category, it felt like - then it was only right in his head for him to bring something to contribute. The first thing he had picked up had taken some discussion with a bartender to get, but a case of twelve bottles of cold beer had taken up a nice spot in his inventory, waiting to be brought out and given out. That had been easy enough to manage, while the second thing, not so much. It had taken him across a decent part of the town, but he had finally found a vendor who sold him a small cask of honeyed mead. He'd also had to buy a set of four rough wooden mugs to go with it before the vendor would actually finish the sale. The cask had completely filled an inventory slot on its own - unstackable, but considering it was a litre and a half, he accepted it. But now he had claimed a small table out on the outside edge, the beers sitting on top of it, with a small sign to take one if someone wanted by the case. The cask was sitting next to him on the table, still untapped, as he used a rough cloth and a small, porous stone to smooth out the rough parts of the cups he had been sold. While he doubted splinters from the cups would actually be a thing at all, it would be just his luck to have someone get poor wood in their mouth and ruin the flavor of the mead. Acanthus 0 Posted 4 hours ago #83 Share Posted 4 hours ago Quote "I don’t think I like people that way." @Ceres Acanthus’ words melted into one slurred thought. “Oh my god, can I tell you a secret? Me too. I feel like, I don’t know, the part of me that’s supposed to get all warm and melty around boys just isn’t there. Did you know that I got a confession letter in middle school? And everyone told me to write him back. So I ended up writing him back, and I talked about beans the whole time. Well, legumes, actually, but I think you probably don’t care about that. Takumi certainly didn’t.” The memory dampened her attitude for a moment, until she heard music from across the party. Her spirit immediately snapped back to full. “There’s music! Over there! I’m gonna go. You should come too.” Ceres was busy responding to Acanthus’ question, but Acanthus had already moved on. Who asked about weapon enhancements at a party? Boring people, that’s who. And Acanthus didn’t come to a party to talk shop. That was for the salarymen back home; today, she was here for a good time. Quote “Any requests?” @Lysette Acanthus stumbled forward, snagging a bit of ice that flung from her drink. She thought for a moment, and then popped the ice in her mouth. “Kindah a longhot, buht do you ‘ave any Taeko Onuki?” She crunched the ice down; it was hard enough to understand her with a few drinks in her system. “Or Junko Yagami. Oh, or Mariya Takeuchi! I love ‘Plastic Love.’ You know, it goes like…” Acanthus tried to hum a few bars, and only succeeded in spilling more ice. “Oops, sorry, let me get that.” She tried picking them up, but the slippery bastards refused to stay still. She settled on kicking them off the dance floor and into the sand. Good enough. Dusting her hands like she’d just spent a full day in the fields, she realized about three seconds too late that her glass was still—or rather, had been—in her hands. It danced across the floor, skidding to a halt before bursting into blue bits and pieces. She looked back at the DJ, and laughed. “I guess I need another drink! I’ll be right back. Remember, anything you have that sounds city pop-adjacent. I promise there’s a good reward for you.” She gave a wink and a wave as she temporarily vacated the dance floor. Surely the promise of a healthy monetary tip would incentivize the DJ to find something close.
Illisandra 0 Posted 1 hour ago #84 Share Posted 1 hour ago The promise of free food to a starving stomach. Illi was racked with the grumbles of a barely lined stomach on a fresh afternoon, where difficult days of constant grinding to afford her hotel room had left her wallet a little worse for wear like her feet. The catch? A dress code. The girl hardly showed much more then her face and her hands, so the sudden shift to something easily 10 times more revealing had her feeling way more vulnerable. Without much of a poker face, it would be plastered all over a frazzled expression. Yet determined to save a buck, she'd power through like a good little soldier. Nervously avoiding prying eyes, taking a bottle of clear yet bubbly liquid from Warren who was quite readily a main fixture at the party. Enjoying in earnest the merriment in a detached but feverish picking of a disposable fork to a plate. Setting her eyes on at least a single familiar face, the rest of these gooners giving her no cause for comfort she'd weasel her way toward that face. @Enya "Glad to know I'm not alone. I swear to god I can feel their eyes. Ain't even looking at me... Was starting to think this was a groomer party, and I was the low level grub." Illi spoke basically using the other girl like a makeshift barrier, pressing her back into hers and pulling apart a lump of crab flesh. It would be immediately clear that the exotic looking girl was entirely outside of her element, debating silently the construction of a few blank voodoo dolls to slap together some supernatural persuasion if the need arose. Despite this being a buffet, to which Illi more then wished to take advantage of. That road only traveled one way, given she wasn't on the menu. <<Assist System Engaged: Assisting Warren>> Level: 22 Paragon: 0 Tier: 3 True Tier: 2 Final EXP reward: +210% Final EXP reward Illi | HP: 240/240 | EN: 42/42 | DMG: 4 | ACC:2 Spoiler Name: Illi, The Exorcist True Tier: 2 Level: 12 Paragon Level: 0 HP: 240/240 EN: 42/42 Stats: Damage: 4 Accuracy: 2 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Ghost Hunter's Training Scythe (Tierless/Polearm) (Accuracy +2) Armor/Trinket: - Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Combat Mastery: - Combat Shift: - Familiar Skill: - Custom Skill: - Skills: - Polearm R1 Extra Skills: Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: Mods: Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: Housing Buffs: Guild Hall Buffs: Scents of the Wild Totem: Wedding Ring: Crafting Profession: Gathering Profession:
