[PT-PP-F1] Sliming all over the place

Through the narrow walks of AIncrad the woman moves. Adorned in her maid like attire, with a few additional bells and whistles to defend herself from the hostile forces. The streets of Lhasri were quite vibrant today, albeit somewhat isolated in its own right. Plenty of NPC's waltz too and from thresholds and stalls, striking up conversations amongst themselves. But the number of players were at an all time low, a fact that Jibae picks out quicker then most would. Adjusting the gold pin in her hair, her tightly wound bun mirrored her posture as she'd retrieve a small bag of coin. Approaching one of the stalls, she'd eye the NPC behind it. "I need: three bags of flour, two bushels of cilantro, four ripe tomatoes, A single jar of salt..." Continuing on and on as the NPC struggled to keep up with the laundry list of produce ordered, yet the woman never slowed. Each spoken like a command, and an obvious sternness in her voice offered the NPC very little room for refusal. One by one as she'd read aloud her mental list, items by the plenty are collected up into a sizeable pile.

"That will be 210,000 col." The NPC remarks out such a staggering number for a simple grocery trip. The small bag opens in her hand with a twist of her fingers, moving that same hand up to a yawn which she covers. Pulling out a few platinum coins in high denominations, she passes them over and the guy is utterly shocked, being more then he'd seen in the past month. Cutting the coin he returns to her her change, to which she nonchalantly returns to the pouch before tucking it into her apron. "Thank you." she offers in a constricted show of formality, taking the food stuff and flashing it away into a dimensional storage one after another. Every so often she stops and taps twice to sort the list, keeping it all neat and tidy for easy perusal. An hour passes before she manages to get it all away, moving for the gate given her business was more then concluded. Lhasri and its exotic wears proved rather potent for her job, to which she was paid very well to maintain. The woman being one of the best 'tools' money could buy, and her contract was always up for 'negotiation'. She served who ever paid her the most, and moreover it was explicitly stated in said contract that at any point another player offered her a higher return then the contract would be null and void. Her aid was earned only by the highest bidder.

To the warp gate she steps into, the thing responds in a blue glow. Jibae lifts her wrist to reveal a watch on it, a thin gold chain and dial on the inside. "11:34 am. Plenty of time before the master returns." She quips, before politely dropping the location of another floor. Just a little extra col for the road.

Outside of the villa he'd purchased in Aradennia, the long unkempt garden bled out across the wrought iron gate. Robe wasn't on him, and the glasses on his face reflected readily the mid day sun into white shields over his eyes. Adjusting his gloves the man would start to wade his way into the overgrown mass of vegetation. Toward the base of the plants, his hands move to start breaking roots and vines. Little by little with sharp tugs and a little strain, Raidou clipped back and worked away diligently at that garden. The man could easily afford to have someone else do this, it realistically would be a pittance. Moreover there was a fair chance that he could just wave a digital wand to have it ripped away instantly, if that was the route he wanted to take. But there was something very 'natural' about doing it himself, finding his place in the garden doing the dirty work himself to be far more relaxing then staring at most of the exorbitant walls of the mansion. The man would tilt out and toss strands of plant matter into a small pile. Slowly he ends up finding a bench and a buried water fountain under all that mess, another potential future project to be sure.

Hours stroll on past in what feels like mere seconds, and the guy works up quite the appetite. Near around 4:30pm, 8 hours of somewhat tough physical labor passes. The gate and the street behind it is finally revealed, as he begins to unweave some of the last remaining batches from their coils around the iron bars. Grabbing a rake, the loose debris is gathered into the pile on the dead and smothered grass. Suffocated no longer, there was a very real chance he could probably get the lawn to regrow. Bunching all that removed refuse, he starts to pick it all up in big handfuls casting it into a wheelbarrow. Rolling around the side of the house toward the back yard, its dumped into a compost bin at the side of the constructed green house. To be used for something instead of wasting it, keeping the pots inside nutrient dense. Parking the barrow on the right near the gate, the space between it and the greenhouse, the man slides open the back door and lets himself inside. Covered in leaves and dirt, he finds himself something cold to drink and relaxes in his purchased gaudy chair that he'd yet to replace with something more practical. Just existing for the next 30 some odd minutes before he strolls into the kitchen, washing his hands before starting dinner. It had become quite the habit.

Pulling open the handle to their ice box, he'd begin to shuffle things around taking inventory to what they had left. Still had a lot, but perhaps another trip to charko was in order. One of many villages he supported through commerce and by partisan financial or physical nudges to allow them to regrow. Just like his grass.

The little red bobber in the water sinks in. A pole in the girls hand bends slightly as it is suddenly under tension, the reel coiling in a repeated ratcheting. The small handle spins around angrily as Setsuna sat with her legs crossed, lost in thought. Quite the intense past couple of days, and these moments of quiet reflection gave her a defusal of all her pent up anger. Grabbing the handle, she halts it and begins to spin it counter clockwise. This forces the slightly clear wire between it and the catch to shorten. Setsuna leans toward her opponent dawning scales, reducing the tension on the line as to not snap it. The girl had become quite efficient at fishing given how often she'd done it, and given the importance of the rod she wouldn't allow herself to become angry. Her game would slowly lose its fight, giving it slack when it would resist and pulling taught when she had the upper hand.

After a few minutes of back and forth, a serene struggle. The shadow under the water and the nearly bottomed out line proved it was nearly out. Setsuna would get off her legs, leaning off the side of the dock and pluck the fish out of the water. A rather big luger with bright red pastel scales. It almost looked like... A small king of lakes. The girl would produce a small straight blade wakizashi and with one fell stroke remove its head, like an iron chef. Gutted and primed, she'd end up with a nice helping of fish flanks in squares. Out of the fish's head she bends its mouth and unhooks the fish hook from its lip. This allows the thing to pop into data, as she casts it back into the water for the others to have at it. The irony is, she wasn't even going to keep this food. Instead donating it to the orphanage on a lower floor, given she only did this for the sport of it. The calmness, the peace of mind.

"Stupid. Absolutely stupid." Setsuna quips, flipping the metal bar with a tap of her finger upward. Lifting the thing above her right shoulder, before a wide swing sends the hook and bobber sailing back out quite a ways onto the lake. The latch is dropped, and the handle of the thing is returned into her lap. A gentle wind blows, stirring the water toward her and against the dock in a faint white noise. The white haired girl would sit here, fishing for as long as it took to let her swelling feelings and outrage to thin out. Her outlet, that she'd finally found to help untangle her head and maintain a sense of control over herself. Today was an exceptionally strong case, and a rather long night was probably ahead of her. She still hadn't slept in most of her time in game, at least not really. And yet, she still couldn't really shake the feeling that this was all just a bad dream, and one day she'd wake up from it.

At the top of the waterfalls of the sage, stood a girl with orange hair among the pristine emerald green grass. Leaves dance through the air, joining its prancing with a small gathering of purple petals. Her hair kept in a single long braid, Kasumi was clad not in her usual white but a black gii with gold trim. Light exhales and grunts as she runs through practice, to the sound of trickling falls at her back. A motioned meditation with her legs sliding and whipping up, pivoting her hips to kick clear over her head. Her shoulders turning with each step of various forms, converting extensive knowledge into automatic muscle memory. A form of autopilot. Beads of sweat sprinkle from her forehead and arms, proving that she'd been at this for a while. Keeping her body in peak physical conditioning, as she was taught from a very young age.

It was mind numbing in a good way, allowing her thoughts to become uniform and serene through such simple recollection. To allow the worries and concerns of the world to roll off her shoulders with every punch or kick. The falls themselves offering further encouragement to let go. Every motion from the girl conveyed a level of routine. Muscle memory. Practice. There was an aura of power behind every motion, relaxed to tense in snapping motions. Eventually as she would flow from stance to stance, it would be interrupted by the low repeated beeping of her HUD. A timer set to tell her when to take a break, to replace some of the energy she lost.

A slide of her hand would see the screen opened, seeking out the little bell icon and tapping it once to silence it. A quick scroll through the menu sees her access her inventory, retrieving a couple of things stored within. A flash of blue digital light sees a small cup of yogurt topped with granola and freshly sliced fruit, as well as a spoon to pair with it escape. Folding her legs, she sits at the side of the falls upon one of the many stones that dot its perimeter. The crystal clear water ripples gently with the cascading stream just above it, like a vibration across its surface. For many it would be a place of rest, and for Kasumi it was a familiar one. The lid of her lunch peeled off, dipping the spoon in and stealing a bite. The stuff is sweet to the tongue, causing the girl to smile and clutch her face with her other hand. The fragrant tastes of Taft on ripe display, in a colorful and rather simple helping of happiness stored in such a tiny cup. The simplest things in life were cheap, and it was these simple pleasures that kept the girl as good natured as she was. Another mouthful and she pauses to create a mental note, recalling the store where it was purchased and choosing to actively make it a habit. Spoon by spoonful, she'd finish it up without a drop to spare.

At the base of Mount Stylahm, the ravine beneath it where most players did not tread. Flowing magma around every corner, bursting from the seams between the stone faces and giving a rather uninviting look about the place. Within that recess lay a large stone 'door' in the shape of a boulder shifted in front of a small hobble carved out from the base of the volcano. Inside the heat was a lot more bearable but still a little uncomfortable when to compared to a more temperate floor. The ringing of a hammer striking on repeat fills the carved out chamber. Atop an anvil lays a slant of steel glowing red hot in a malleable softness. Every blow of that mallet sees it begin to flatten, sending a shower of sparks each time its pummeled and shaped. Each strike sees it cool little by little, and every so often the smith leans to have his familiar supply it with more heat to keep its glow. A rake of his hand across the anvil brushes shavings of metal slag from its top, forging away until he was satisfied. A lift of the edge in an unpolished black, he'd scan it straight up before tilting it to draw a line down its length.

"Good." Griswold remarks to himself, murmuring out loud his thoughts. Placing the mallet down, the smith moves for a trough of water and pitches the blade into it. A large column of steam escapes as the jacket of vaporized water is released with shifts of gloved hands. Raising it back out, he'd check for warping, finding none and placing it on a rack to his left. The hound at his side was looking a bit ragged, a fact the smith had noticed for the last couple weeks. The stone was starting to become much more pronounced, solid. It caused the internal fire of the flame elemental to become almost utterly concealed under all that baggage. Leaning down, he'd pull a bit and pop off the cooled rock like a clump of hair. A couple moments to think, weighing his options. "Hmm, like a hair cut..." The smith spoke toward Vulcan who peered up at him curiously. To his tools, he grabs a smaller hammer and a chisel. 

Down to the digital animal, he places the chisel against his skin and gingerly taps away. Like carving a statue he shaves down the slowly piling stone renewing the creatures original shape. Massive chunks of slag break loose and crumble away, eventually releasing the hound back to a renewed vigor, its inner flame more visible and distinct. The man had never owned a pet, let alone a dog so the thought of grooming it hadn't ever occurred until now. Vulcan seemed much less inhibited and moreover much more fluid in its movements. A mental documentation of that as a possibility, the smith collects a broom and begins to sweep up the 'hair' of his hound, along with the metal shavings around his workspace.

A near silent garden around a large tree, whose guardian slumbered. The field that surrounds it that had laid dormant for such a long time, untamed and wild the foliage had grown. Little by little it was being clipped back, restored to its original state by its one sole gardener. The rare blooms and fruit that littered it carefully curated and nurtured with experienced hands, that gardener being its sole recurring visitor for none besides the woman knew of its existence. There were some that had seen it, witnessed its splendor and mystery but would not begin to fathom what lay on its grounds. White bloomed flowers that hid within the light of day, gilded fruit that dangled from trees. All manner of oddity that sprouted and lived, groomed back to its well kept state with some of the simplest tools.

Nisahime in her blood red attire, wrestled between the trees as a glimmer of sparkles seemed to dart along around her. Her eyes ablaze in a stark silver, conveying the activation of a skill in its multifaceted purview. As she'd walk some of the patches would glow gently as she'd pass, giving off monikers in columns of light: yellows, greens, blues, purples. When a yellow is drawn, the woman would change her attire and work diligently against that patch or product directly, finding her yield to be just that much more fruitful. With the added benefit of a small stone in a transparent gold, clear like amber in make.

From day start to day close, it is devoted to this secret garden within the confines of nowhere. Left in totality to the imagination for save but a few. A wipe of her brow and a mountain in return, the garden itself seemed to desire her to come back. Even the small existence of fauna in all its strangeness treated the woman as one of their own, some even making a point to receive direct affection from her. But the day was coming to an earnest end, leaving her to gather up her wares and her tools. Returning them to a space created solely for their placement, each and every item finds a bracket of its own in a small crafted slot using a tree for support. A flash of silver light sees her return to her typical travel attire, to which she moves to make an exit back into the whole of Aincrad. Through a gateway she would appear into an open field just outside the city of Deepedge, the low dim blue lighting allowing her gaze upon the moon in all its untapped splendor. "So pretty for something so fake." The woman would murmur toward the stars themselves, finding the truth in how it produced a façade of reality in a desperate design to convey conformity and acceptance. The souls trapped within this digital prison needed to wake up and smell the shit for what it was. A prison cell with some cardboard cut outs, and their fates were continuing on without them.

A sharp exhale as the twins ran from cupboard to crate and back. Moro and Maru were in the process of working on the remodel, cleaning up the place given there was crap shoved into every orifice and container. So much so it was nearly impossible to keep it all organized. The beauty of being directly responsible for a guilds worth of logistics. To her right the round table at the head of her recliner. Just beyond the arm where she could lean over. On it sat a platter of silver, polished clean enough that it worked like a mirror clearly reflecting the ceiling above and the underside of everything placed upon it. A pale white porcelain hand reaches across and claims a cup from it, damn near matching it in complexion and flawlessness. The cup is moved closer before a pot is grasped by the handle, a pair of slender fingers wrapping around and slowly pouring the steaming hot golden liquid into the ladder. A couple lumps of cubed sugar, and the rattle of a spoon as it taps against the brim of the cup.

It was a rather lax day beyond the commotion, a welcome respite from all the constant chaos that could unfold at nearly any minute. Currently the frontlines were hard at work, pushing eagerly to clear the upper floors. The invitation didn't fall into her lap, but it was one to which the woman welcomed its absence. It was entirely fine that she wasn't dragged into that mess, getting covered in god knows what and fighting tooth and nail against whatever the flavor of the week was. The simple concept of allowing others to do the dirty work while she lazed around and sipped tea was more then amicable. Moro wanders up with a large sword, still waiting for its appraisal. "Where would you like this, Mistress?" Moro beckons curiously, trying to figure out where to cram this thing where it would fit.

Simmone just about fed up with the clutter and mess within the Black Odyssey nurses the thought, deciding with a press of an index against her lips. "I think its time to liquidate Moro. Bring me all these little toys that wont fit in the store room." The black cat offers causing the NPC to place the sword down on the floor and bolt off out of sight, rounding the corner to the right to dive deeper into the mobile store. What would follow is a cacophony of ware after ware gaining mass in a pile in the middle of her chamber, Simmone leisurely enjoying her tea as she'd exhale smoke into the ceiling. A lit rod with a cigarette on its end, the room becoming somewhat opaque with every exhale and filling it with mystery in its obscurity. Once the twins were convinced this was all that could not find a proper space for storage, they would begin to bring an empty bottle and an item for each. The black lotus would rip at its potential with a flash of gold on purple iris, seeing the item broken and a thin yellowish white powder returned to those bottles. The essence of a mystic, to imbue what she divined upon what would be brought before her.

Another day of excitement, he hadn’t met with the group to kill crab in a couple days. Freya has been helping out more, doing the shopping which was actually her idea. It was nice to not have to do everything all the time. Like any normal day, breakfast is ready before he gets up. The kids were already eating. Freya was already done and said she was going to get some groceries. Giving his a hug and kiss she walks out. Turning to the kids, they were still eating. He would walk up the stairs to grab a shirt off the floor. Suddenly he hears crashing downstairs. He just takes a deep breath, turns toward the door and heads down to see what the kids did this time. Stepping into the kitchen, the fridge was wide open. The entire content of everything in it was on the floor. Looking at the dishes on the ground they were both empty.

A look down at the kids they were both smattered in eggs, milk, syrup. Gaius just puts two fingers on the bridge of his nose. “Okay, I get how today is going to go, bath time.” Opening his HUD to send a message to Freya letting her know that they needed everything that was in the fridge again. Glancing to the ground again, there was glass, it was sticky, and it looked like a unicorn barfed on the floor. Grabbing Boris and Ko by the scruff of their necks. Bringing the kids into the bathroom, setting them into the bath. Turning on both hot and cold. At this point he has given them so many baths that he knows exactly how far to turn each to make it just the right temp. The only thing that he hoped for was that they didn’t turn big like they had the last few times. Soap poured on them both and then in the water. The water was already beginning to turn brown from their fur. He gets out on his knees near the tub and starts scrubbing.

Holding them both under each arm wrapped in towels. This was going to be a long day, he hadn’t even eaten the breakfast that was still sitting on the table surprisingly. Setting them in the cage that Freya had gotten the other day. They agreed that it would be for punishment only. The thing that they would have to really worry about is if they turned huge within it. The cage would break and be in pieces on the floor. From what they understood, they only shifted when they were pissed. Being in the entrapment together keeps them calm and busy. Eating first so that his food didn’t get too cold. He would spend the better part of the morning cleaning the hurricane of a mess that was sitting in the kitchen. Freya had come back a few hours later with a shit load of food. When it was all organized, the fridge was again fully stocked with all the pantries as well.

The little performance studio was ripe with sound, as a little songstress chirped into a microphone in a sound proof booth. The windows on it reverberate with every note, her voice carrying with it a magnitude that left a visible impression on nearly everything that existed nearby. The song comes to an end, to which Shiina raises a hand and turns a performance crystal to pop it out of the device like a light bulb. A tap to test has it recount on low volume, Shiina listening eagerly to the song as it would play. About half way through, her face scrunches up in disapproval. "Bleh, nah. Too boring. And that..." Turning it back a few seconds and playing it again. "Slightly sharp, nope." Tapping it twice sees the entire track erased in a puff of factitious smoke, hours down the drain in what amounted to 15 seconds of removal.

Now a blank crystal, Shiina slides the thing back into two awaiting rings on her microphone. A twist to the right sees the rings tighten and grip the stone. The girl would then wander out of the booth, adjusting a knob or two and stealing a quick drink of a bottle on the table just outside the door. On that same table was a smattering of all sorts of instruments, strings or wind there were plenty. A wave of her hand like choosing fruit at a supermarket, Shiina plucks up one and blows into its end. It burps out a shrill sound, and she catches it. "You, it was you!" The girl barks out, adjusting a part of a clarinet with a twist of both hands. Drawing out the barrel to lengthen the instrument by what amounted to a quarter of an inch. She'd play it again, listening intently to the exact pitch produced. Another twist would see it moved an eighth in, down to the millimeter. Tightened back, she'd play for a third time and smile mid blow. "Gotcha dork!, don't let me catch you outta tune again. Got it?" Shiina spoke sarcastically to the inanimate object, threatening it as if it cared.

Back into the booth, she'd begin to play the instrument in a level finesse and expertise that none really realized she was capable of. The girl was in fact much better at music in general than anyone gave her credit for. The better part of the next 5 minutes is used to record an entire section of the track, but it would only be but a single piece of a compounded composition. Little by little, Shiina would continue to switch out crystals, recording sections of music on each and changing out instruments. A saxophone, a violin, a cello. Four crystals recorded, the girl would begin to sing into a fifth, using her own voice to create a chorus like one of the many instruments. No words to it, more of vocalizations filled with emotion as its meaning. Once its complete, she takes all 5 fitting them all into a device almost like a candelabra with a single blank recording crystal at its base. A press into its base sees all 5 begin to play at once, and the blank begin to glow as it records.

Shiina's eyes burn bright in a sharp yellow, as she begins to alter cut and twist the tempo. Turning medley of something classical into something far more energetic and chaotic in its remix.

A smoldering airship careens off to one side. Burning engines burst and fill the airspace with smoke, as fires rage across its top and the metal glows bright orange in superheated weakness. Celeste stands stalwart at the edge of the Blood Raven, looking over the side with her hands pressed into the railing of her own ship. Aboard its surface lay all manner of crates and barrels, sacks of coin and flour in a ripe pile. Deckhands rush back and forth, slowly shrinking that pile as its buried into the ships cargo hold. A pounding of blue light streaks fast causing the woman's hair to flutter in an angry rip and sway, but she seems unfazed outside of it. A thunderous boom follows shortly after, revealing a silver decked airship sleek in design. A hatch at its back rips open, and Celeste reaches to her left and grabs a handful of chain. Tossing it down like an anchor, the silhouette of a man latches onto the chains and tugs to have it retract.

Landing with a solid thud at her side, a man sporting brown hair and a cocky grin. "How does it feel?" Celeste asks in a somewhat commanding tone to the new gentlemen. "Its still a little too slow for my liking, think I need another couple of recyclers and to change that hull out." He returns as he turns to look off the side and match her perspective. "The Tempest seems to be fast enough, that dreadnaught couldn't even keep its sights on you. Worked well as cover. Nicely done, Adonis" Celeste remarks tapping the man twice on his shoulder as she'd turn toward the deck of her ship. There was a lot of ill gotten gains to sort through, and more shock and grabs to perform for the day. "We'll keep an eye out for any more aetherium, and any more mithril. That's what you need?" The pirate queen asked, confirming their previous conversation.

"You got it boss, wouldn't argue if you found any damn weapons..." He'd pause raising both fingers pointing to the red head for added effect. "But lightweight, my baby only works when she's fast. Otherwise those dreadnaughts will tear me a new ass." Celeste returns to him with a glare, as if a warning. "It may have been your ship once Adonis, but now it serves Galtea. That was my terms. I keep Ladonia off your back and keep it functional, and you pilot for a good cause. Don't make me regret it... Or you better learn how to fly without it." Adonis swallows hard and grabs his shoulder, it burning lightly from old wounds, and with a heavy laugh and a smile Celeste taps his harm lightly for her which is like getting punched by a boxer. "Lighten up, Donny. It was a joke. Mostly. It's fine Shaw is already working on the blueprints we stole from the Ifrit before it vanished. Only a matter of time..." Celeste trails off. "Get back on your ship, Adonis. It's time to cause more chaos and piss of Vex some more." Up to the helm of her ship, she raises a fist high and a spark of blue flame ignites it like a torch.

"For the Father, For Galtea!" to which her crew screams in tandem:

The day was early but not too early. She couldn’t very well look for her next target when the streets were empty. Sitting on the fountain, watching every face that walked near, around or by. A pretty face for a precious portrait. Anyone with that beauty had to be recorded. People would walk by staring at her, she would just smile toward them. Finally she sees the perfect girl. Those curves, that face, the cheek bones. The long purple hair, the way it lined her face. “Excuse me miss, I need you to come with me.” She links arms with the woman “You look picture perfect, and I want to draw you if that is okay?” The woman twists her head. “So you want to do a self portrait of me?” Abelith smiles at the woman with a nod. The woman shrugs her shoulders and follows Abelith. 

“Okay I need you to sit right here” guiding her to the fountain. Having her sit sideways with the left leg on the ground and the other at an eighty degree angle. Putting the woman's arms back, having them lean slightly back. Abelith puts a single finger on the chin of the woman, turning the head slightly, telling her to keep her eyes looking toward the exit gate of the town. “Perfect. What is your name?” Without moving she answers “Shayla.” Opening her inventory she pulls out a chair and sets it about two feet away. Sitting down herself she takes out her drawing pad and just stares at the girl for a moment. Observing Shayla with a keen eye. This had to be perfect, had to capture the pureness of this moment, of her. First things first, in the top right hand corner of the paper she writes Shayla’s name down. 

Starting with the curve of the back, how it leans into the shoulders with a twist of each wrist. Those fingers wrapping around the concrete that held the fountain in place. Next the chest, slightly puffing out, connecting with the stomach that just flows together in the same stroke. A small moan with a sharp exhale of breath as her cheeks fluster. Her eyes follow down the body as he utensil rushes the slants of both legs on paper. “Have you done this before?” A smile of excitement. The girl was completely still, not breathing, moving, nothing. “Nope, I just know patience. Besides, true fact, we don’t have to breathe. It’s just an instant reaction from your brain.” Took the better part of hours to finish. Looking at the girl, the photo, and back at the girl. Perfection. “Hmm” biting her bottom lip and readjust in her seat. She was going crazy for the masterpiece that she just completed. “Come see” Abelith says. The woman gets up as walks to her side. “OMG that is really good” and it was. “If you had a different face and name I’d do you all over again sweet cheeks.” Shayla looks up to the woman “Thank you that was fun” Shayla says with a smile before going about her business.

A bright morning of running a comb through her platinum blonde hair, removing the tangles and smoothing it out. Staring intently at herself in a vanity mirror, leaning forward to inspect her appearance closer. A ginger lift of her hands as she reaches for a single dangling eyelash, picking it out before grabbing a curler and rounding it to get everything perfect. She leans and opens a drawer on her right side, fishing out a small black tube. A jerk sees the lid removed and Mokka begins to twist it getting this light pink color to slowly raise out of it, lip gloss. Smearing a bit on her top and bottom lip before pressing them together and rubbing them back and forth to spread it around evenly. Another twist and its returned to the drawer before closing it back up. Taking a final inspection of her appearance, given how important it was that she looked her best. Her appearance, her beauty, her demeanor, and her smile. All of it translated straight into real world value, directly funding her bank account and keeping her financially stable. "Lookin' Good Mokka~Chan!" She barks at the mirror flashing herself a thumbs up.

Transitioning her expression to a somewhat falsified grin, she'd have to bear real excitement to keep her fans entertained. Pushing herself from the mirror, the stool rolls out before she returns it underneath. Grabbing her dagger from her end table, she heads out of the room she'd purchased. Down the stairs and past the stage that now doubled as her home. The theater lay empty and quiet. A beep on her right wrist wrestles her attention, and with a press of a button on its side sees it silenced. "9 am, its showtime." She murmurs with a sharp inhale and exhale to quell her bubbling nerves. A streamers life was always diversity, to keep fans on their toes and today was no different.

The girl turns over her left hand, tapping twice in the air. "Gimme just a minute to get set up, hi hi Ballsdeep69." Before she races off to finish her set up, moving a microphone into the center of the stage and slightly adjusting a table. From her pocket she sets down a performance crystal, and with a snap of her fingers the entire room goes dark with a pop. Seconds later in a chain of the same, bands of pink spotlight fall upon her illuminating her and the stage. Turning over her hand again, she pokes once against seemingly nothing. "Can you guys hear me ok? Type 1's in chat if you can hear me." pausing a few seconds for seemingly no reason. "Looks like a lot of 1's. Hi guys, I'm Mokka a variety streamer. Thank you all for joining me. Today we are going to fulfill my 4k sub goal milestone: Karaoke. I hope you all are just as excited as I am~" the girl remarks in a chipper and excited tone. The blonde girl gets into position on the stage, leaning down and tapping the performance crystal once as she'd begin to sing.

Sitting in a cafe, it was eight am. Haine sitting across from her. They talk about random stuff, laugh a bit. Ruri mentions that her and Eruda were yet again unable to hit Rai with a snowball and they were out there for hours trying but nothing came of it besides being pelted back. Even mentioned the snow mounted wall that was created but it didn’t make a difference. After about two hours, they go their separate ways.

The next stop that had to be made was her house. She wasn’t there yesterday, she lost track of time. Approaching the door, unlocking it, her tiny little friend runs to her feet with a squeal of excitement. Smiling, she would pick her up in her hands and shut the door. Walking to the kitchen, setting the rodent on the counter, she would start making her lunch/dinner for later. A basic turkey cheese lettuce sandwich. Feeding the tiny fur ball some greens, before wrapping the food and making it vanish into her inventory. Feet clatter through the house, getting to where she grew her plants. They were needed for today’s potions. Getting down on her hands and knees, she would gather what she was able to. Saying goodbye to her familiar, she would start heading to the Firm Anima Guild Hall.

After some time of walking and teleporting, she would be at her destination. It was around noon and she knew that no one would be there at this time. Everyone was usually off doing their own thing by now. Heading in and straight for the alchemy lab, there was a note with a clear plastic cup of white thick, black dotted liquid. Confused, she would read the note. It was from Eruda, the girl had left an oreo milk shake. Cautiously taking a small sip through the straw, she would nod her head in approval. Pushing the coaster out of the way, taking another sip before setting the cup down. Giving a half smile toward the cup, she shakes her head before taking out all the herbs that she just gathered. Stepping a few steps to the right, she grabs four mortar and pistons. Setting one out for each color herb collected, she liked having everything organized and in its own place. The last thing that she wanted to do was make a huge mess in a shop that wasn’t even hers. Not to mention all that man has done for her, it was the least that she could do. Setting each color grass leaf in the small bowls, she would take her time to crush each one with their own equipment. She would make sure that each of them were grinded into fine powder. They would mix and evaporate better that way. The next thing she does is pull a few bottles and set them aside. Setting one on the burner, she adds just the right amount of water and the first powder. Letting it boil a bit, she would wait for the powder at the bottom to be gone. Adding more water with another powder, after this was done and mixed she would take the glass of the heat with a mitt and lightly swirl it around. Setting it aside to let it cool, the first of many potions were done. It was time for the next.

Traveling down the beaten streets of Deepedge, the city was rather packed with all manner of faces. Players, NPCs, the odd guided cattle. All that was missing was a kitchen sink. Anton was among the many, clad not in all that tacky medieval crap that people love to plaster themselves in. What amounted to leather bags and paint cans in terms of aesthetics. No instead he was wearing a simple black travel cloak, unassuming but cut from a fine bolt of fabric and fitted in such a way that it resembled a finely made poncho. Enough to not droop nor drag, but to protect his more important attire from the elements. Todays visit was an oddity for the player, given Anton hardly ever left his roost on floor 17. Mainly because most of the other settlements had absolutely fuck all to offer. Garbage linens? check. Wooden buttons? How about a collection of burlap still laced with manure. Anton scoffs at the thought and their mundane simplicity, moving tried and true into his destination matched with the ring of a bell hanging from a doorframe.

"Come in, Come i..." The proprietor gives the guy a welcome but it is cut short the moment it clicks who had arrived. "Anton? My shipment doesn't arrive until next week." The lime haired guy mills toward one of the walls, turning over a bolt of fabric finding it appalling with a sour expression. "And? I'm not here for that Reese. I need Wurm Hide. Snakeskin is at a premium, and I need it for my design." Anton spat with a dose of equal abrasive venom to match his irritation toward the neanderthal chunk of code. "Wurm Hide?" Reese returns in a confused rebuttal, to which Anton sighs audibly with his shoulders sinking. "Like talking to a brick wall... Yes Reese, Wurm Hide. I know you fuckers have a snake problem. Stop with this..." Lifting his hand to masquerade a moving mouth to get his point across. "Get me the hide, I don't give a damn how long it takes."

The NPC wanders into the back, to which Anton shakes his head in disapproval. Beneath his breath "Sometimes I wonder if whoever made this game was drunk. Top of the line my ass, dumber then a doornail..." spoken as he'd start to shift the bolts around while waiting. One is all but caked with dust, in a bright disgusting looking puke yellow. Anton smears his hand on the wall, visibly grossed out as he pats his own pant leg to keep the crap from ruining his clothes. Milling about for a fair amount of time, he sets upon nothing that actually speaks to him. The NPC returns to offer him quite the section of a tannish scale hide. Wrapped in layers around a slant of wood. "This stuff is kind of pricy." The NPC warns, knowing full well the crap was rather rare to skin.

"Don't care, I make more then enough. Can't put a price on genius. Or the lack of it." Pulling out a sizeable portion of col, he takes what bundles he's given and exits the dust ridden shack of shit.

A gentle pop of her lips would ring out across a near silent field. In the distance flashing lights of sword art activations would dance with mobs being reduced to digital shards. A morning so magnificently droll, and uninteresting. Lynn was absolutely bored out of her mind, having spent the better half of the last couple days grinding away for what amounted to scraps. Frankly this really wasn't her bag, and moreover she didn't carry with her the same inspiration to grow alone. Wasn't the whole point of these games to play with people, make friends? Everyone she'd met up to this point always seemed so busy, too busy to hang out or even pay her the time of day.

As it would turn out, players and NPC alike didn't put too much stock in pretty or fashion.

Instead everyone seemed to be racing from day start to day close, trying to smack the same weak little creatures for measly rewards and to watch number go up. To Lynn it seemed like an utter waste of time, but maybe she wasn't nerd enough for this. Ironic given that if she could, she'd probably log out and go watch a movie or something with real people. But now she was forced into just lazily people watching.

*sigh*

The girl exhales as she leans forward onto her knees, using her elbows to prop herself up. Head on her right palm. "Where's all the adventure, the excitement, the teamwork?" Lynn murmured in a low whisper, allowing her thoughts to escape her headspace. Else they become bottled and drive her actually nuts. "I mean, yeah. People are doing stuff...clearly. But its just so....pointless. Wake up, farm some boars. Go to bed. Repeat." Another exhausted sigh before she shoves her hands into her kneecaps to lift herself off the stone she was sat on. "Ugh. Guess I'll just..." Lynn drops the bleeding of irritation and boredom to head back into the town of beginnings. The place was always so active and yet as of late it started to give the vibe of being so 'samey'. Was that a word? Who cares. All this talk of big frontliners or high level players and what they were doing riddled her mind, given she was trapped at legit the bottom of the totem pole. Struggling to afford a hotel room off of whatever small amount of col dropped out of pigs or bees. The training wheels or tutorial on the side of her screen wasn't even finished yet, given how much difficulty she was having getting used to all the requirements and motions.

Into a small cafe, the least she could do is people watch with a drink in her hand. Pulling out a handful of col, counting what was left to make sure she could actually afford rent. 10 col, clapped down on the outside tables surface like a pile of pennies because it basically was. Ordering a large sweet tea, taking a sip through the bending pink straw. Her attention peels away, wistfully and aimless.

Lynn was at a loss, and alone.

Walking around the town of beginning, trying to figure out how she was going to get her next meal. It was then that she remembered that Enya had a food shop. She had reconnected with her at the beach the other day. Her food is weird but it is edible and free maybe. Working for it might have to be a thing if Enya didn’t think the same way. She was unsure what it would consist of but it couldn’t be all bad right? If only she remembered where the shop was. Opening her HUD she sends Enya a message. She responds back quickly with the location. “NOICE” saying a bit too loudly as people start staring at her. She smiles and waves before leaving the area. Heading in the direction of Enya’s shop now, she was actually excited. 

Knock knock knock knock knock… knock knock

The door swings open as tiny Enya opens the door, that was a whole smatter of smells. From eggs to bacon, something sweet. “What have you been doing in here” Illi asks. Enya just smiles and hops back into the kitchen. She followers her in and closes the door. Getting a better look, the eggs had something weird on it. Enya sees the confusion and says “I have been experimenting. The eggs have honey on them, its fresh honey comb from the trees just outside the town. The toast has honey butter jelly. I know it sounds weird but it's supposed to help with the nervous system. If I can make food that tastes good but also works as a stimulant of some kind then maybe it will help the people on the streets of Aincrad be motivated enough to help us get out of this game.” Enya takes a huge deep breath realizing that she was speaking way too fast under a single breath.

Illisandra takes a seat at one of the stools placed at the middle counter. Enya sets a plate in front of the woman. “I will make you free food if you help me test it and give your honest opinion about it” Enya would say to Illi as she nods “Deal” Illi agrees with a smile. If there is free food involved then she would do anything. Enya hands her a fork and the woman starts eating. Enya would pull out a notebook and start writing. The name of the meal, Enya, would focus on Illi’s reaction to each bite, each word that the woman said under her breath as she chewed. Putting plate after plate in front of this girl, she didn’t understand how such a small girl could make so much food. 

After the second plate Illi would shake her hand in front of her at the third plate coming her way. “I can’t eat any more. All in all it was pretty good.” Enya just bursts into laughter, “To be fair they were big plates” Enya explains. “Yea maybe bring the portions down a notch” Illi says, holding her stomach leaning back in the chair.

Walking out of the gates from the town of beginnings. For weeks she had watched players fishing in a small watering hole not far from here. It was a short jaunt, she could probably make it with no problems. It starts as a walk seeing a couple boars traveling in the distance toward her. Not an issue, she could take them. Shortly after another pack spawn to her right. Maybe she could take them a pack at a time as long as the others didn’t charge at her. She was getting ready to attack when suddenly a third group of four appeared directly in front of her. Eyes go wide before not one but all looked in her direction. “Where did these nyall comewn from crap” glancing around to find an escape plan while she thought about her next moves.

Getting down on all fours, she has a mischief grin as her butt moves slightly, causing the tip of her tail to move. Taking a deep breath she would begin to charge at the four boars in front of her. Hopping up in the air when she was about a foot away, her claws go down slicing down two of their spines causing them the burst. Landing on the other side of them all, she starts to book ass toward the trees that could be seen. Jumping up as her claws dig deep into the bark, she would climb swiftly up to the first branch that was seven feet up. Turning as staring down at the weak yet crazy amount of the creatures, she would begin to think about what had to be done next.

After a few minutes of listening to them snort and huff in her direction she comes up with something. Leaning down, eyeing the four that she would land on. Quickly she readjust and hops down forcefully as her four sets of claws use four separate heads as pin cushions. Feet hit the ground as they burst into nothing. Leaping back onto the trunk, her head turns and she drives off the tree. Twisting in the air, the two front claws dig into the eyes of her prey causing them to vanish as well. Her two back feet rear backwards as it catches two necks. The last two were just standing there staring, watching Majineko destroy the small army of their kin. They turn and run off into the tree line. “Nyand don't comewn back” she yells. A deep exhale as her eyes dart to the small pond, she would lick her lips and run on all fours toward it.

Sitting on her back legs like a cat would, her head following the fish as they swamp within the water. Right then she dives in to make her capture. Having one in her grasp she would float herself up gasping for air. Biting down to hold the treat in her mouth, she gets out of the water. Getting on all fours again she would shake herself dry. Holding the still alive fish, gripping it as it would stop moving, she smiles and licks her lips again just staring at it. “Dinnyer” is all she says before heading back into town with a secured route.

Lights flicker on one after another with the flip of a switch. The dimly and dingy lit stage springs to life with the pouring of light across its surface, providing very little to the spaces beyond it. A heft of the girls body as she steps up, like a stair just a little too far apart. CC would look out to her rough and abysmal surroundings, given her prior venue was already booked by an NPC driven play this evening. What amounted to a soap box manifestation, cobbled together at of what she could muster on such a tight budget. Drawing her screen open, she would begin to pull out instruments. A guitar takes the stage, carrying a stand in her left. Leaning down and placing the stand down, folding out the arms with a press before leaning the 6 string into it. A black and gold Les Paul figure 8 cut away. Another tap of a thin finger sets another stand free, and with a cherry red bass guitar held limply in her hand, that she allows to slide slowly down into its space. A set of drums, which she needs to assemble. The girl was acting as her own stage hand, in addition to all of what used to be a much more fleshed out band. A silent prayer to see them again, and a silent prayer that the bigger more gamer players would finish this out sooner rather than later.

A glance toward the foot of the stage, flickering in the final piece. A microphone, that despite being a digital recreation of the real thing it cradled her soul all the same. CC would place it down, eying it deliberately and minutely as she'd adjust the height and the positioning. Once satisfied, from her inventory she'd procure not one but three stones of glass. They catch light and twist it into a multitude of colors, being bent in unknowing ways. Denoting that a track was trapped within them, a single section of notes captured from prior playing to help flesh out her missing band members. Walking from placement to placement, the girl would set down the stones as if cataloging them. All three set down, she'd move for the guitar and hoist it up. Grabbing the black strap and lifting it over her head, moving the pad atop her left shoulder. A finger traces down the bridge to its side, following the strings toward the pickups. It felt so real, the smoothness of the wood. The finish, the glare from the lighting. It took her back, a fond memory relived through such a simple gesture.

CC turns and flips a switch on the bottom end of the guitar, pulling a hard pick out of fret 1 and giving the 6th a pluck. Life and sound burns through the cavern, echoing off the walls as she begins to tune it one string at a time. The knobs turned gently yet precisely, tightening the strings to reach the correct pitch by experienced ears. A single strum across all 6, to finalize the tuning as she'd make motions to the microphone and click it on. Her fingers begin to move across the neck, bending and tilting as they press the strings into each fret showing a lifetime of practice that the game could not take away. Her real identity not robbed by the system, filled this cavern with song. With the tempo kept she'd find her queue, and begin to sing.

An absolute brick house of a man sat perched in the middle of a field, legs folded as he lay on his back. A collected pile of rather sharp looking armor sat in a smattering to his right side, as he rested on a black mat in the middle of that clearing. Only thing still on was a small black speedo and his helmet. The repeated repetitions would play out in grunts, as his skin glossed with a mixture of sweat and wax. Elbows held out to both sides as he'd fold his abdomen and pull himself up to his kneecaps, turning his core twice tapping his chiseled elbows in the opposed before falling back down. His body was a temple cut the from the hardest stone, and to maintain its cut and perfection took dedication.

Each completed rep would yield a barked out number "45"...."46"...."47" as his stomach burned and ached with every motion. Turning over without even a moment of rest, the man would begin to do push ups. THE RAZOR wouldn't quit until all of his body was sore and tired, everything must be taken to its limits with little regrets. It was quite often that he pushed so hard that getting out of bed was a chore, but this was the sheer dedication the man housed within his thick and tanned flesh. Minutes fly past as he forced the muscles in his arms to scream under his own weight, clearing double digits and slowing down as bouts of exhaustion and lactic acid build up. Springing to his feet, the man cannot help but flex to admire his work like an artist. Scanning the definition of the ripples of his frame, the recesses and curvature of every muscle group and the veins pressed tensely to his skin enough to show through like giant pythons under a tarp. "THE RAZOR'S JIB IS CUT TO THE MAX, ALL WILL BASK IN THE MAGNFICENCE THAT IS THE RAZOR." The man shouts to the empty woods, causing some birds to flee at the sudden outburst.

Satisfied with himself and the near excessive amount of exercise it was now time to refuel. Calorie intake within Aincrad was a lot less obvious then real life. Sandwiches or served dishes had no nutrition facts nor ingredients, and THE RAZOR was not a damn bean counting nerd. Sounds of constant draining liquid spilling into a pool of water echoing off the cavern walls. Small splashes of every foot fall against the rocky floors. There was a lot that had to get done. Ingredients needed to be gathered, chemical agents needed to be put into glass bottles for further experimental usage. Leaning down next to a sea of green. Pulling his leather gloves into place so that the reagent doesn’t touch his skin. Taking a medium sized dropper and a clear bottle as she gathers some into the container. Placing a cork on the glass before setting into a bag meant to contain the substance. He does this for a few more. 

Walking out of the cavern, glass lightly jingles against one another as he walks to the warp gate of the nearby town. It was dark, he could hear bats squealing against the night skies. It was almost like he was being followed. Just to make sure that it was nothing more he would walk into the city of Taft and vanish into the shadows. When he knows for sure that he isn’t being followed he looks at his pocket watch. He shifts into a boy with black hair and walks out of the shadows. Grabbing a box from the side of a building as walks out in plain sight. The tower dings and he walks through the alley way with that crate. Looking to his right, nothing. A glance to the left, still no one. Setting down the container he would open the small double doors to a set of stairs. 

Stepping over the ledge, he would walk down those steep steps. Closing the small wooden door he started to walk down the hall. Pushing over a thin piece of stone as he places his hand on the rock as a door would slide open. Stepping into the doorway with the large slab closing behind him. hydrochloric acid sprays in every direction at him. Pulling his arms up so that it would get every piece of clothing. The detox stops as an opening makes itself known on the other side. When it slams shut behind him that is when he hears the constant hissing of a pipe in the wall. Following the sound a few feet forward, stopping dead and shifting to his right slowly to stare at the wall. 

Removing a slap of the stone there was steam blowing full force toward him. Giving a sigh as he investigates how this happened. After an extensive eying of the metal pipe it was a hairline fracture. This could easily be fixed with some melding of the same material that the pipes were made of. For that he would need to go out and gather. So for now he would do a temporary fix, duct tape. Walking into his very clean area, he would take a wrapping of thick stickiness. Plastering it onto the metal pipe the hissing stopped. Twisting his head to make sure it stuck he walked back and started tending to his patients.
