  1. Saving time was the first thing on the forefront of his mind, and as that same pillar of light consumes the rattling pieces. The clicking stops, as they are evaporated in its girth. As before, any that opposed him wouldn't even get a rebuttal. He wasn't the most damage heavy, but reliable and consistent. A slew of learned techniques that continued to play out in every encounter. Rapid adaptation to whatever situation arose spoke to this consistency. Spinning his blade into the slot it owned on his back, a heavy breath intentionally kick-starting his recovery. He couldn't afford to squander his
  2. Moved to Floor 10 A familiar floor, a quick transition in a flash of blue light. It was time to check on the principles of Tartarus and its shores. Recalling Val Halla, he was concerned what may have changed. What if Fenrir was more of an oppressive force on this floor? A very real possibility with Shadow altering everything with that black tide of his. Ushering through the plaza and into the darker halls of the place, of course almost immediately pulling the ire of some of its denizens. Those skeletal constructs quickly, cackling and rushing toward the swordsman that stuck out like a sor
  3. Concentration Refreshed! Lightning leaps down the length of that solarite blade, and within that same second Raidou dumps his energy into it, pushing it into overdrive. A column of light consumes the chamber, casting a shadow over Raidou's face and making his lenses nothing more than a sheet of white over his eyes. In that blast, none could escape, and as such the entire lot of the opposing army was reduced to the ash they were made of. Gone, and with their erasure, was the scream of multiple things being shoved into his inventory without his input. A glance around this empty nest shows t
  4. (OOC: (8) Intermediate Dungeon Map #195410 used), Concentration CD [4/5], Field Boss weakening fades, stat block turns to T4 Beneath the impact reveals a cave in, a hole into somewhere. Curiously, Raidou tilts his head, fixes his lenses and takes a few steps down. The ground was a bit uneven, and it was cramped. Down within its confines the wanderer finds some creatures lost to time, like the Ashen one some unliving elf that has been since scorned by whatever burned above. A few honest steps inward sees them look at him with hostile intention. "Not wise." Raidou quips rather abruptly as t
  5. Concentration CD [3/5], Raidou recovers 54 via Battle Healing That kneel quickly turns into a lunge, a blur of red as his robe struggled to keep up. The flapping was undeniable as it sways past his legs. A vibrant and sunlight filled blade slides into the creature's chest like a hot knife through butter, no resistance. The tiny bits of stardust bleeding from that opened socket, as her very shape began to crack and splinter. "Checkmate. Think twice next time." Raidou offered the warning as if some part of this thing would remember this exchange. Hopes that would go unnoticed, only he would
  6. Concentration CD [2/5] Out of nowhere, that pounding begins again, and what she assumes is his weapon is actually his arm. Using it to feint and take her arms away, Raidou had broken her defense as those nails peel into his skin just ever so slightly. A small amount of damage, nothing he couldn't handle. The shockwave of his blade connecting sees her smog dispersed beneath the weight and power, sending the ash cloud scattering and fading away. "No more tricks." Raidou quips as the lightning finds purchase shortly after the edge finds its target. The Ashen one wails in disagreement, as not
  7. Concentration CD [1/5] A quick swipe back against the boss sees their weapons locked together, it was clear that her A.I. was attempting to push her on the defensive. As it would analyze how best to approach this player, who mirrored her intimidation rather easily. That dense fog thickens, her howling is met with a grinding and flashes that fluctuate within its film. Her attempts seemed to do the trick, enough to throw Raidou's aim just enough for her to catch the steel, but she was struggling against the sheer force of will he was exerting on that sliver of metal. A harsh scraping before
  8. With fury filled eyes, a peel of the blade off to his right with a tear leaves a spray of red in its wake. A huge chunk peels out of her body, leaving a gaping wound as her health takes another nose dive. The red wanderers eyes are pulsing in that same contained rage, that same intense focus, as his energy drops just that much further. As soon as that power fades it begins again, and with an attempt of the Ashen mother making a swipe of sharpened claws finds only his steel in a shower of sparks. He grits his teeth and pushes back with force. She staggers, howls within that obscurity, not unlik
  9. Tearing Auric Sunlight from its scabbard, a harsh flash of light akin to the solar ball hidden under the ash clouds above. A high pitch whir as that shriek becomes more hostile, noticing the player in its domain. "Come, I will show you what you face." Raidou remarks with his weapon charging into a heavy gold plume, bits of static jumping and darting down the length of the metallic edge as that levin arks back and forth to point and hilt. His energy begins to drain, the creature begins to shuffle with cables shifting and breaking where her legs should be. Each snap sees a small puff of powder l
  10. A sheath of his blade sees the growth begin to take hold, gatherer doing its part to build something beneath his vision. A rustle on his flank shows that something was waiting just beyond his peripheral. "Cute, your welcome to try." Raidou speaks toward the brush and flora, to whatever thought that it could sneak up on him. He was well practiced and this object, entity was not subtle. A couple of steps in the things direction sees a hiss as a warning. The wanderer doesn't appear to be concerned in the slightest, using his left hand to usher his screen open rather abruptly. He was confirming th

  15. A sudden understanding between the NPC man and the one that played the part of NPC boy. "I guess we did, but your working to change all that huh?" Nemo replies as he rakes the back of his head. "You know Raidou, sorry for trying to eat you back then. I really don't like players fucking up my garden." The wanderer stands and faces the guy. "Trust me Nemo, I also cant stand when players fuck up my garden. I understand. Glad I spared you, you've been a valuable friend and companion these last couple weeks. Eating attempts aside." It was here the npc and the player found the line between them begi
  16. Nemo cant help but smile at the prior statement, finding the truth of it rather humorous. "You know some would consider that an insult?" the gardener fights back laughing too loudly, for fear of pulling some of Tomoika's native fauna. "It is an insult, but that doesn't make it any less true." Raidou offers with the straightest and coolest reply, the humor defused and yet remained like a fart in an elevator. Nemo shakes his head no "I wish more were like you, I cant believe your interest given if the world we live in is false as you describe." To which the nomad replies with an obvious rebuttal
  17. "Sure..." Nemo remarks in a short yet sweet form of acceptance, biting on the hook presented by the wanderer. "Thanks, Nemo. With that they will begin to work toward self sustainability." Raidou responds putting his thoughts and intentions into words. Nemo turns and looks over his shoulder "Your a strange guy." he replies, scanning the player. "I've heard that a few times." The wanderer adds, substantiating the claim. "You care an awful lot about us, when normally no one really gives a damn. What gives?" The gardener tosses another weed into a now growing pile, raising to the flats of his feet
  18. "My point is Nemo, all the plants have been dead a while. Never-ending winter killed most of anything." The guy remarks adjusting his glasses as he made his point to the NPC. "I was wondering if you could lend the elves that live there a hand?" Nemo seemed jarred and confused. "Is that even possible?" To which Raidou rebutted "I am sure that more then what was considered possible begins to become possible. Give it some thought? They are having a rough go of it, and it was pretty hard to convince them to have hope." The wanderer seemed to plead on Nemo's sentiment, seeing if true concern could
  19. Dusting his hands in a heavy clap, the wanderer looks to Nemo who was currently plucking weeds from a small section. Each being tossed into a pile of plant matter in stringy strands, much like angel hair pasta in a box. "Speaking of which." Raidou remarked toward his companion, to which he'd moved closer to knowing after their initial disagreement. "I've been meaning to ask Nemo, on a few floors up there lies an abandoned city." Nemo pauses to listen, looking over his shoulder toward the red wanderer. "What about it?" the player is repaid. "Well, its stricken with an odd curse and as a re
  20. Nemo looked completely perplexed, as Raidou continued to work away diligently. "Why churches?" Nemo expressed in the most human like way, which moved to further the wanderers growing expectations. "Good question." The nomad relayed in the only way of replying he knew how. "I think the creators thought that churches were spooky enough, and a big building that seems a bit alien. Frankly it seems a little overdone, and I think that ideas started to run low. So churches." Spoken as the cacophony of breaking roots lead to more materials being added to the coffer. "Seems kind of lazy, given at least
  21. "There is a single staircase that interconnects between them, as well as that gate you see me come in on from time to time." Raidou continued explaining the very nature of Nemo's world with reasoning that was leaving the NPC jarred. The notion was staggering and it left the NPC in disbelief, but the evidence left him wondering. "So there are more worlds like this one?" The gardener asked, pushing the limit of what he would be allowed to understand. "Not exactly, they all have a decided theme. Some forests, others rivers or oceans. Beach fronts, or in this case Caverns." The list halted fo
  22. Mind still racing as the bag hits the pile, and Nemo can swear he can see the bag shutter. "So, if you don't mind. What's a floor?" given that an NPC clearly had little to no way of knowing the principle. Raidou turns his head, peering over his right shoulder. This topic was familiar, and he'd had this conversation at least 3 times before. "A floor is a large section of terrain, like a disk." The nomad points to a wall. "If you were able to dig for a few miles straight that way, you'd end up finding open air and a plummet that would never end." The idea didn't compute, but even still Nemo
  23. The NPC remained shaken bordering on horrified. "But, where?" Nemo asks to which Raidou responds: "Likely floor 6, the wilds should have little issue supporting them and should be able to keep their numbers in check. Not like here, where they have little to no predators." Spoken as if it was merely an observation, calm and collected. Eying the bag a second time, Nemo couldn't seem to glean why he'd willingly spare them. "They have their purpose, even if deadly they can be useful and part of a larger ecosystem. Erasing them could spell disaster for Charko who needs the webbing for silk. As
