I've been gone for a bit of a while, but I'm slowly coming back, and hoping to get back into the swing of things. I clearly have a lot of threads to reply to, but it might take me a few days to get back to posting like crazy, and catch up with all these threads. However, I consider myself ready to get back to roleplaying on this site.

I've noticed that I've been getting less and less active lately... My writer's block issue may be diminishing, but due to another problem that is strengthening it little by little, my muse is still far from where it needs to be. I still have a lot of threads to reply to, and the problem that's bothering me the most....well, I'd say it would take me a lot of courage to admit that I believe I might have an anxiety problem... I worry if my posts are well-written, rather than poorly written, I fear negative responses that are definitely possible, and sometimes when I go to bed after making a post, I find it hard to sleep because I'm already regretting the post, calling myself an idiot in my head. I'm doing what I can to resolve this problem of mine, and get back to posting at the rate I once did, but I don't know how long that is going to take me...
So, in short, I apologize to all I have threads with, and I hope to be able to get back to posting a my usual rate soon.

Although I'm not in a thread with you, I'd say take as much time as you need. I know how it feels to have an issue with anxiety (especially depending on the severity) so I understand if it takes a while for you to sort some things out. I understand this doesn't mean much for someone in your position, but what you should care about is if you think the quality of your work is good rather than the responses of people. After that, everything else follows. If you seek to improve that quality, do it because you want to improve your writing rather than you want people to enjoy it more.
But once again, I'd just like to say if you need time to figure some things out, it's completely fine.

I guess they say that third time's the charm for a reason. Both people stating interest in my EaL thread haven't responded and it's been a week/2 weeks respectively. Anyone interested that would carry through? Thanks.

I don't want to solo, but my character isn't very sociable... Any ideas?

Not being sociable does not necessarily equate to being unable to discuss with others. The problem is not talking to others, at least for my character's issues, but learning to connect with others in a mutual way. My character has a weird case of alexithymia (the term I have just found today, in fact) where he cannot express his own emotions mainly because of his parents. However, I try to make it so that he can make "friends" (the term I use lightly in his case as it is mostly just misery loves company but company does not reciprocate) and that his ability just makes it difficult to actually "click" with another person.
Also, as Fae said, I'd be that other unsociable person. So if you want to do a thread with me, I'm all game. I'll try to respond as promptly as I can.

I would choose the Philippines because of how I really enjoyed the last time I went there in general. Then again... That was in 2007, some people have left so not completely sure how things are going with my maternal relatives, and Duterte is in power. So maybe not. Let's go with Canada.

Oh gosh, I'm so pumped ... No, not because of the boss raid because I might actually not be attending. What I'm pumped for is my trip to Norway for a week, that's why I'm a bit concerned about the boss raid, as I might not be able to post.
I'll be out in the wilderness without any mobile connection nor internet, so that's why I can't join the raid. But gosh darn am I pumped to see if I can live 5 days out in the wilderness!

I laugh a little when I remember what it was that took me into forum rp. It was on a games workshop-themed page with a section for forum rp. There they had one thread up at a time. And since there was like ten people in it and no time limit, it took some time to continue the story for everyone. At least you could post as often as you wanted, except doublepost. :)
One thread up at a time and posting 1-3 posts/week. That have changed quite a bit here. Haha :)
