  1. How fitting for the fourth floor to be the place of sorrow and despair. It was where his older brother tried to help him and Sey has been doing much better. Life wasn't so critical towards him, it was lovely and far kinder if anything. Nothing has broken out yet and he wasn't in a pit of miserable despair. It all boiled down to having secrets remain secretive. Other than that, this was a lovely floor for him, a snow-based place for him to hang. With a smile on his lips, he traversed the snow with the survival skill on, enjoying the cool breeze it gave him. This was his floor, this was a place for him to be free. So there was a speck of red that appeared out in the distance.

Hm? He didn't have much to fear, and so he would approach before the red became a familiar outline. No scaring her this time, he would just walk up to the familiar figure until he got within reach of her. "Ayyy, what's up, Kirbs?"

  3. "Seems like you found yourself on the luckier end of this. Only one item is missing." Sey replied, finished with the request. Turning over to all of the rare items, he would shrug. Seems like the lack of perfects weren't so bothersome. It was also free experience, so he'll take it. But with that, he would then slide over the items towards the hooded figure. They were lacking in terms of words, but that was just typical business. Even then, could he even call it that? Perhaps, but the profits came in form of materials rather than col, that of which he had plenty of and could grind in the mobs.

  4. And yet again, his aura would only grow bigger. The Rain King tried to inflict another status onto the group, though he didn't recall anyone succumbing to it quite yet. How interesting, a mechanic where they managed to be lucky. For that, Sey had no idea what it was supposed to do, even if he was somewhat familiar with it. Well, he may as well strike while the opportunity presented itself. Charge was tempting, but he refrained from it for now. If effects come in, his attacks usually get botched in the process. A shame, he wanted to go for the highest of numbers, but who would he be to defy the game? And with that in mind, he would blur, only to hit the water shield and fall back from it. Sey wasn't getting through yet again, causing his aura to grow yet again. A confirmation that a massive attack was coming for the Rain King.

  5. And with that, finally something came out of his work! A perfect! A perfect at LAST! It was enough for him to put into a random bag of chips and call it a craft. Now to get this item confirmed by the game and he was a free man. Now for the fellow who wanted the bag to have his reward. As for Sey, he made his own profit in turn. With a smile on his lips, he would send the item off towards the game and let that guide his path into crafting. Perhaps counting up the spare experience he had wouldn't be such a bad idea, he might have been at the highest rank for all he knew.

  6. "Thanks for covering my damage @Macradon, I'm ready to go from here!" Sey called out, spinning his fists about before clenching them up in a default battle stance. The Rain King's health is being threatened, so all he had to do was aim a decisive strike with his new enhancements and... Miss. As he swung, the pressure of the barrier pushed his body back. Sey couldn't even flip off of the barrier, for there was no solid part of it to put his footing on. So he had to awkwardly be pushed back. Upon landing on the ground, he would be bent down onto one knee, head hung down with the tuft of white hair covering his face. A small silence for a moment before he slowly pressed his legs upward. "How unfortunate..." Little by little, he rose up from the ground. A small black aura would coat his body, the mixture of Viras and Keen creating the illusion. With heavy momentum to amplify his eyes, he would raise his head to reveal a purple set of eyes, the enhanced ones. The smirk on his lips and the radiating glow of his eyes, it was the glare of a madman with power.

  7. "In that case, I need to make every hit count! And the king isn't stopping anytime soon, surely a paralysis or a stun would have worked by now if it could!" But it couldn't, his entire point. As the rain aimed to flood the lot of them, Sey was more interested in trying to change his equipment in the process, for he had chosen the wrong weapon to go in with. The DPS was going to be reduced a bit, but the party could handle that loss for a moment. If his fallen enhancements start triggering, then it would all be worth it. "I need a moment." Sey would add, flicking both wraps off of his hands. In turn, he would materialize a new set of them, much shadier and less appealing than the previous ones. Xir was a beauty, this was a less appealing nightmare. Viras, a fitting name for something so chaotic. Once they were equipped, he would look on to see what the king provided. There was something odd about this fight... Already, they were halfway through this?

  8. The instant his fist struck, he felt a sudden surge in turn, causing him to wince and jump back. An effect! No status effect icons appeared in front of him, but his energy took nearly another half of energy from him as well, causing him to clench his teeth in turn. "Yo, something's not right here, I won't be lasting too long at this rate. Let's finish him quickly!" Sey declared, swiftly putting away the unneeded gauntlets, for they were providing nothing to the fight. In exchange, he decided to switch to his luckier gauntlets. He intended to get some paralysis and holy damage in. A burst boss? Potentially, so they needed to end this before things get out of hand. Hestia was taking the hate quite well, and Sey would make sure to inflict as much damage as he could. Though he would have to rest soon, for a realization would hit him. By then though, it would be far too late, and so the damage he inflicted when striking yet again would still be... Mediocre.

  9. Where was the confidence!? Sey shook his head in turn. "Come on, you have the looks to bring eyes your way, you just gotta fix those loud lips of yours and you would make a wonderful lady~. Still gotta pay me to be a wing man though, dork." Completely brushing past her initial worries, he wasn't really expecting anything. Why would he do that to her? What, was he going to make a present deposit box? There was no reason, especially when she would be the ones to throw petals all over the place, probably in the faces of some people in turn. Sey was then trailing behind her before she returned back, Sey smiling in turn. Wow, that speed stat of hers was doing her wonders, it wouldn't be long before he fully mastered evasion. "Welcome back to me. Now that you finished that, you need to get your face back into the game and deal the damage you do. Focus on the present later."

  10. "Expect the wedding to be on the 29th of the month, you dork~." He replied with a trailing taunting voice at the end. It didn't take long for her to break down into another one of her episodes of flipping out. "You'll figure it out~. You're a lady, you know what ladies enjoy! But she is very interested in neutral colors, white or black preferably. Whatever you think is best in those colors." Being shaken wasn't exactly a new thing, especially not by this redhead. It will make her future partner very flustered, he could not wait to see who she paired up with. Then she'll see how easy it was. Then again, maybe she was too young to be thinking about such things. Or maybe she isn't, wasn't this the age where hormones were supposed to be flying around? Eh, she'll figure it out, and then he'll tease her in every step of the way. "Unless you think you can't do it, dork."

  11. "All right, let's draw some first blood!"  Sey declared, swinging his fists around and about before clenching them harder, a white glow emitting from them. The Rain King was letting his guard down, foolish of him. For such arrogance, his fists will fly! With a press of her feet against the ground, he would lunge forward to have his fist make contact with the King, though he felt something rather rough upon impact. Mitigation, damn mitigation. Considering that this was his lesser build designed to keep his health high, he wasn't inflicting as much damage as he could have onto the king. But even then, he still had enough to create an impact, allowing the players to go ham on their first round. His party was on the smaller end, but Hestia was a great tank and the other two were high in levels, they could pull their weight. And that's while not knowing what they actually could do.

  12. Well at least it was done, but he had to admit that he was rather disappointed if THAT'S what the quest was going to be like? He tilted his head to the side as he listened to her explain that they just needed to return it to the NPC. It was a tutorial and it still managed to make him question the game's handholding. Perhaps she was overleveled, but weren't these things supposed to be taken in parties? "In that case, we're bringing it over immediately! Get you some experience points and we'll call it a day." Seems like he wasn't needed. But he did want to bother her a slight bit, the thought making him smile in fact. It was just fun, and she was a feisty redheaded lady, so her reactions were bound to happen. It was entertaining for him. Now they had to go where again? With the lack of these quests, he was unsure about how to progress, admittedly.

  13. This was a riskier build that he was working with, since it wasn't necessarily the highest in damage. But with the lack of perfects he obtained in his shop, he was damned to his fate of making his build more about restoring his health. With this, if he was lucky enough, he would find himself gaining health at the speed of a first aid while he inflicts a bit of damage through the mitigation. It made battles far easier for him, knowing that he won't be dying anytime soon as long as he was lucky. In exchange, his mitigation was bound to suffer, so that was unfortunate. But he was not a tank anymore, so he could spare himself the trouble of having to take hits. If anything, the restoring of health was to help keep his health high from AoE attacks, but those mainly tasks for healers to push through. If he kept himself high up, that was less energy for the healer to use. Now what could the boss do? He had to wonder.

  14. Not a single perfect craft to come out today. Was there any reason to continue? After two days he was unable to get the lucky item and it seemed like he was running low on materials. Sey hated to get the materials ever since the patch came out, bringing him to this unfortunate conclusion. He wasn't necessarily excited about it since he needed stuff for himself in the upcoming event, but what was he going to do it the game wanted to see him burn? With that, he would close up the crafting menu and shrug. Maybe another day, but this kills motivation more than his already fading motivation was going through.

  15. Hestia proceeded to intervene while the other two seemed to be back, an interesting strategy for progress. Free experience for Sey, so he wasn't one to complain about such a scenario. With that in mind, it was time to dance! Jessamine was swift to charge, her deckhands looking to swarm him. A sudden boon would be given to him, heavy momentum, showing that his previous assault failed, so he was going to be given compensation in turn. How lovely for the game to be so generous, he would take it gladly as he pushed forward.

The first deckhand would miss, the second would strike to the side for the most minor damage, the game allowing him to brush it off like nothing with how his battlehealing recovered. With that, they were finally in range of each other, sword to hand combat. Unfortunately for Jessamine, he could read her frontal movements like a book.

A swift feigning slice, only to betray it with a spin kick aimed for his head. Sey was swift to lean back with a smirk, enjoying the small breeze as she kick flew right by him. Valiant, but there were no results, just an exposed one-legged pirate. With a jolt back upwards, he would lunge towards he, a simple push to her shoulders to knock her off balance towards the edge of the ship. Jessamine was swift to try and recover, only for Sey to already close the gap and deliver a harsh punch square in the face, pushing his knuckles so hard to the point where her body would flip over the edge of the ship. The result? A splash into the water, followed by the very familiar sound of shattering crystals. Only one hit was needed.

Crow’s Nest: On nat. BD rolls of 9-10, <<Boatswain Jessamine>> rears her boot. If the CD is 1-6, she sweeps low and knocks the target over, lowering their Accuracy by 3 for one turn. If the CD is 7-12, she aims high and launches an attack that bypasses 2/3(rounded up) of the target's mitigation.

  16. It didn't take long for her to go out and start attacking things in the cave, calling herself a soldier and everything in the process. He just laughed softly in turn as she made her way back out, only after the shattering crystals of an enemy reached his ears. When she walked out, he just gave her a smirk. "I didn't know she could one hit kill floor one monsters~." He replied with fake shock. How impressive, but he knew she couldn't help it at her level. That's why she needed to finish this quest, that of which he still wasn't familiar with. "So what do we even do on this quest? Unlike your lucky butt, I never had those quests to begin with!" Tutorial quests patches, who's oversight was that supposed to belong to anyways! Virtual machine or not, what game doesn't have a tutorial! It mattered not though, for now he was way beyond that, so perhaps he shouldn't complain.

  17. "Good luck finding her, she'll never be found without my help~." He replied, placing his hands behind the beack of his head as he listened to her ramble on about how she must fulfill some destiny. Whatever said destiny was, it was bound to slaughter her if she wasn't careful. And seeing this idiot of his get injured while he was on duty would be unfortunate. "Your destiny sucks, so I'll help you! Just tell me what you're going to do." It was all meant with jest, for he was sure that she was passionate about it. But of course, how would they get along if they didn't throw a bit of shade at one another? She was one to take well to it, her future house cats would love her humor with how often they'll be breaking things. With that in mind, he would then place his arms back down, readying them for combat in case she needed to oneshot a field boss or a quest boss of a sort.

  18.  Retreat? Lovely idea! It would be with a crystal, only for Itzal to toss him one in turn. Sey was sure to catch that life-saving item into his palm with a smile, sounds like his call has been answered. "Looks like I owe you one." The snow-haired player declared, a smirk on his face as he looked back to Leviathan. "As for you, we're coming back with reinforcements. Hasta la vista, mate~." And with that, he would activate the Teleportation Crystal he obtained. If he flinched for another second, he would have been cooked by the sea. They knew the mechanics, they didn't need to waste time with such a low amount of damage for such high levels of danger. If someone actually perished for a last-hit item now, that would be shameful and unwise. If party one held on with that much DPS, good on them! As for his party, they had to flee.

  19. Not a single stroke of good luck in this one, nope. In fact, quite the opposite. None of these items could be used for any of the future raids, leaving him with this bleeding mess. If he wanted a reason to whine, this was that exact reason. He tapped on the potatoes as many times as he could to no avail. In turn for doing so, he found himself finding things that were mediocre at best, a new situation that left him with little hope. How lovely. If there was a plus side to this, it was the fact that he didn't have to lose all of him materials on such an unlucky day.

  20. Another wave of damage to discourage the group and they still didn't pop their crystal! At least, not until it was Sey's turn to dance, meaning that they were free! Zandra managed to pull the clutch and handle that last stupid add that made life annoying for him. It could have been annoying if it kept rampaging around and about. With that in mind, the Frostbite check seemed to come for him yet again. He winced as he braced for the locking of his stats and skills again. No such even happened. In fact, he was still active! And the segment was exposed, meaning he had a chance to dish some damage onto it! "Okay, let's get this stupid thing popped and off the radar!" And it was a simple explosive fist away from the first bit of damage. Sey didn't have a need to keep play defensive since he trusted himself to avoid conflict for another round or two with the exception of Hydro Jet. By then, he would have expected a heal to come through.

  21. "Uh... That crystal is rather difficult to hit." Parrying would be a nice idea, but he didn't get such a luxery. If he could get the hit on the water crystal, then they would successfully clear that pesky thing for another few moments. It was an annoying thing, constantly making them hit the damn thing. But it was okay, so long as they had better care of their hits, all should work fine! Until he aimed a strike and missed, something that was sure to happen when a tank tried to get a hit in. An annoyed sigh would emit from his lips immediately afterwards, he wasn't getting it anytime soon. "Well, we need to clean up soon, I am not getting jack with this sort of role." An unfortunate reality for the party. Only two of them can hit the crystal. If not, they were going to have another refresh to deal with. This not the time for such a thing at all.

  22. Oh this was going to be a bleeding mess. The one to suffer the most was going to be Ariel, for Sey not only took a hit from Leviathan via hydro pump, but the water managed to freeze him in place. Six minions ran rampant throughout the battlefield, and Zandra already aimed her strikes. She struck two of the additional spawns, leaving four mad sagahins. "Brace for impact, I'm frozen and I sure as hell can't howl!" Maybe bringing down the segment during the freezing check wasn't such a good idea. He could take the hits of the adds, Zandra could, perhaps Itzal. But Ariel didn't need any more than two or three by the looks of it, how could she react to rampant enemies? The water crystal was a fun factor to deal with as well. This beast just had too many mechanics, a shame since this was the first and last time he planned to tank, so re-entry would be far more difficult.

  23. Hope the blonde liked disappointments, because only one of them in the party did an AoE. Good on Domarus for doing that, but it wasn't enough to take out the segment. On top of that, offering a crystal when needed in order to escape. "I'll keep that in mind, gracias. As for now, if this truly is the final push, we can finish this off." And with that in mind, he looked back up towards Leviathan. The aggro count seemed high in Sey's favor, for the hydro pumps just weren't connecting. His battle healing was pushing his health back up to full and his energy count was just too high for the monster to lower. He wasn't using massive DPS attacks either, so that only helped. All right, he may as well focus on howling again to keep his aggro high. It was the only thing he could do since his parry was already active. A <<Focused Howl>> followed, but nothing else. So long as the other take out the segment, all should be good.

  24. Now what in the bloody... Are they KIDDING!? Not a single one of his party members moved! What was this supposed to be!? Breathe... Breathe... They probably just needed that one bit of energy, right? Sey was in that position, that had to be it! All four of them needed that one bit of energy, he could easily understand that! Okay okay, with that thought burning in his mind, he might actually have to cease the howling and brace for something massive coming up. Leviathan was exposed, he was hoping that his party didn't have to remain idle for much longer, they needed to push forward with the damage or else they will have to bail! "Okay! Uh, uh... We need to get Leviathan while he is still exposed! And I might need a crystal to get me out of here." There would be a time to push forward and a time to admit defeat. It was discouraging when no one in his party moved, now was definitely not the time for that. As for Sey, that meant he needed to fight to keep his health up the best he could. Leviathan had enough aggro to keep anyone from taking a harsh kiss of the sea, so Sey would bring out a damage mitigating skill to assist him. He could only dodge for so long.
