  1. After Hei had caught his last big fish, he had asked Cosi about his profession, and the blonde had chuckled a little, before he had started telling him, that he owned a merchant's store, but that it wasn't open at the moment. - I wonder why he hasn't done much in his profession. Maybe he is just very busy going on adventures with his friends - he thought, when Cosi continued, telling him, that was thinking about opening it for the public soon. "That's always nice to hear. What exactly does an merchant do?" he asked, before Cosi shrugging and grinning at him asked him how it was to be a tailor. Hei smiled and said "Well, I don't know how it is in the real world, never have touched a needle out there, but within this game it's a pretty well made crafting system. In the beginning I just thought it simply was choosing the right materials and while crafting deciding which enhancements would be best, but nowadays I noticed, that there is a hidden more specific crafting system I got once I reached a high enough level. So there actually is things like taking measurement and stuff like that one would have to do in the real world too. With this system, the Items wont use the auto fit function, so they fit perfectly for whom I made them, but not anyone else, except they had the same bodytype and measurements. "
That was all he could tell Cosi at the moment, as he really didn't knew what else to say, so he turned his attention back to the pond. Cosi's line still hadn't moved, which was kind of sad, and became even sadder, when Hei cast his line out, waited for about half a minute and got another big one.

  2. Hei had just killed the axe swinging living armour he had encountered, and now he had time to have a look at both, his stats and the drops he had gotten from the mob. Shifting his view to the top left of his field of view, he saw that he had lost about on fourth of his max HP, which was quite something, if he remembered right. The only monster that had gotten him down this much, at least in quite some time had been the toadmen shaman he had found gathering, or better fishing. - That had been a really dangerous fight, this was a piece of cake in comparison. But still, it'll take quite some time till it will have regenerated. I believe my survival skill increases the rate, but it's still about 15 minutes till I'm back to full health. And my energy depleted too, but that should be up in under ten minutes if I remember correctly - he thought, while he saw it slowly rising again.

As there was no reason for further fighting, at least till his energy would be back up to max, Hei opened the inventory and had a look at what he had looted lately. The mob had dropped a few mats, but what was really great was the amount of col it had dropped. "Nearly 3k col, that's what I get for crafting three items. Maybe I should continue hunting some more, even though it's kind of boring hunting all on my own" he mumbled to himself, while he closed the inventory again and switched his shield for the robes to then start looking for some kind of useful material close to him.

  3. Cosi shrugged as Hei told him, that it might have been better to get some other familiar, just to show that he wasn't to sure about that. Then he mentioned that he believed in the possibility of getting a new familiar, once he had said that, Hei shook his head and said "Nah, I believe having Huatli at my side is quite enough, and I couldn't let her go just like that. " After he had said this, both Hei and Cosi focused on fishing, and it seemed both of them were lucky this time. Cosi was happy that he had finally caught a fish, when Hei reeled in another big one, huge enough to dissolve into three materials. - Well, If I keep gathering this well, I might be able to craft the items that were ordered when I didn't have any materials soon. I hate letting my customers wait - he thought, and just to not let the conversation die, he turned back to Cosi and asked "You got the fishing skill, which means you probably are gathering for more than just payment. Do you have your own shop, and if so, what kind of work do you do?"

  4. Once the HP had dropped to be in the red, the living armour changed it's style of fighting. Hei hadn't been to any boss fights, as he didn't thought of himself as strong enough, but he had heard of them, and he knew that this was a mechanic they had quite often. He also knew it from other games, where the mobs became stronger and changed how they fought with reaching benchmarks in their HP
Till now the armour had used the axe at far range, trying to not let him come close enough the even attack it, but Hei, who used a spear with quite some reach had been able to bypass this nearly the entire battle. Not that he knew how the mob fought, he could go in more recklessly, but when he did this time, the armour broke the weapons shaft, so the axe now was short enough for being used in one hand, and it got quicker then before. - Damned, I wouldn't have thought they could do something like that - he thought while he had to stop his attack to prevent the armour from hitting him. "You have to be careful Huatli, it's gotten quicker" he said, as he saw the raptor coming closer, and it was just the right moment, as the armour swung the now really fast axe towards Huatli. The raptor was able to evade the attack, but just barely made it.
Hei used the time to charge his weapon, and when the armour turned around, he released the swordskill, hitting it multiple times. The first hit was absorbed by the weapon, but it seemed it had lost it's durability with the creature breaking it, so it dissolved into pixels from the damage, the following hits reduced the mobs HP to zero, and it dissolved just as quick as it's weapon.

When the pop up appeared, Hei simply accepted the drops without even really looking at it.

  5. Cosi told him, that he was going to get a familiar that would increase his mitigation, as it would free up his equipment for more options. "Yeah, it's a good way of increasing one's variety of what one can build. I now realize, that it might have been better to get a familiar that enhanced something that is increasing with my tier, as I wouldn't have to get new items when ever I reach a cap, but then I wouldn't want to go full damage, so it's all right with me." he told the other player, as his thoughts went on with Cosi's idea.
Then they went on with fishing, Cosi wasn't to disappointed with what was in the chest, even though Hei could see, that he had hoped for more.
    - To be honest, who wouldn't have hoped for more, it was a damn treasure chest, and what was inside wasn't really worth mentioning at all - he thought, but when something bit, he had to stop thinking about it and focus on getting it out of the water. Not to long after this, he had caught another three fish he could change for some useful material.

  6. When Cosi told Hei, that he hadn't heard of the Guardians of the new Dawn he was a little surprised, as the had been one of the most active and largest guilds not to long ago, but then there were others, and if one didn't look for a guild, one probably hadn't heard of them. "Well, you seem to get along very well, so I can understand you weren't looking for a guild. Most of us were friends before we founded the guild, so it's not to much different from what you were doing, even though lately we got a few new members. And what you are telling me about your new build sounds like a good idea. It's mostly what I am doing, even though I dropped out of some of the options that would have increased my damage. For example I got an familiar that boosts my accuracy instead of my damage, just so I can use both my light armour and the shield I got." Hei thought it was good talking with someone who had a strategy close to what he had himself, and so he decided to think about what he was going to learn next.

While he was thinking, Cosi had something on his hook, and it must be something huge, as it took him some time and power to get it out of the water. What he pulled out of the water was a treasure chest. "Seems like we are indeed lucky, I'll try to open it" he said, coming closer and looking at the heavy padlock that was keeping the chest closed. As Hei didn't know how to crack locks, he simply used his trident to break it, and when the popup appeared, telling him what was inside he was a little disappointed in it. "Well, maybe we aren't that lucky, it's just super low amount of col and a ingle material. As you are the one fishing it up, you should have all of it" Hei said and sent the items to @Cosi

  7. Hei still tired to not eavesdrop on the others, as it was their business and not his, but he had to  know if this was where they should start looking. Morgenstern told him that it would be close enough and asked him, if he had any skills or items that would help him with the task. "I don't have any skill that help me searching, but the cloak I am wearing boosts my perception, so it shouldn't be so difficult to fins some red animal on this stone mountain" he said and started looking for the salamander.
Hei was sure he had seen something red running to some rocks not that far away, and so he chased it, but when he was there, there was nothing but stone. Not sure if it had just been able to hide again, or if he had seen something that wasn't there, he returned to the others, that more or less walked behind him in silence.

  8. When Hei had arrived, Cosi had told him he hadn't waited log at all, so Hei was happy about not having his gathering parter waiting for long. When they sat down to get some fishing done, Cosi told him, that he was planing on giving him what ever he caught to pay for the items, and that in case of him not catching enough he would get the difference by gathering on his own. "That's a good plan, so I hope you get them to byte real often, so I can start  crafting them and you don't have to wait much longer"  he said.

After he had some of the fishing done and it seemed that Cosi wasn't going to catch anything, the blond player turned back to Hei and asked him about what he was doing besides being a tailor. Hei had to think a moment before he could answer it, as he didn't knew what he could tell Cosi and what probably wasn't for his ears. "Well, where should I start? " he said, taking a short break again, before he continued "I am the co leader of the Guardians of the new Dawn, I don't know if you have heard about us, but we are a guild helping lower level players getting strong enough to survive. That's quite a job, even though we aren't as active as we have been lately. Then there is my girlfriend and besides that I still do gathering and other quests, so my shop stays in business. Well, you asked for what I am going for build wise, so I would say it's damage, but with my equipment right now it's more some kind of hybrid tank, using a one handed spear and a heavy shield combined with light armour. How about you?" he finished with asking Cosi. While he was talking, he still looked for his fishing and was able to catch another fish.

  9. The clash of the weapons sent both of them stumbling back a little, so Hei had a short moment before the armour was at him again. He used this moment to signal Huatli to wait for the armour to attack him once again and then jump onto it's back, as it shouldn't be quick enough to prevent her from this. Once she would be on top, she could attack the helmet, maybe interfere with the armours vision and create an opening he could use for another fully charged attack.
The signal was easy and Hei was able to finish it before the armour was back to it's fighting self. The great axe swung at him, and he simply sidestepped it, as he had by now learned the basic attack pattern the armour used. After three unsuccessful attacks, Huatli had managed to get on top, and it seemed the plan was a good one, as the armour stopped attacking and if it had a face would probably look pretty puzzled, as the swinging claws interfered with it's vision. "Now Jump!" he screamed, as he ran towards the armour, the spear glowing and swinging at the armour. Huatli jumped back just in the perfect moment before the spear hit the armour helmet, it's chest and the arms, leaving rad marks and reducing it's HP further to not even a fourth of it's max HP.

  10. Hei had been in his shop, when @Cosi, who had recently ordered two items, had massaged him about a gathering trip he was planing. - I am out of materials and it's always boring to go and gather on my own, so I should tag along - Hei though, remembering the last time he had gone on a solo gathering trip, and how boring it had been. Equipping his casual cloths and the Champions Robes, he got ready to leave the house.

As Hei lived on the first floor it was just a short walk for him to arrive at the gardens. The view was as breathtaking as ever when he arrived, and even though he had hurried, Cosi was already waiting for him. " Hello, I hope  you didn't have to wait for long." Hei greeted the other player with a smile on his face. Waiting for Cosi to reply, Hei waited next to him, to then turn towards the garden and decide, which way he would use to gather materials this time. Last time he had done some gardening, but it had been a little boring, and for sure a good bit of work, so he would go and get some fishing going today.
Walking over to the pond closest to him, he opened his inventory and got the fishing pole from it, getting ready to catch as much as possible, and he was indeed quite successful. Not even a minute after he had thrown the hook, the first fish had already bitten, and he had caught with ease. So within a short moment of fishing, he already had four fish in his basket.

  11. Hei had still been lying in bed, sleeping when Stryders message had arrived, so he hadn't noticed it at first. When he had waken up and went into the kitchen to do some cooking for breakfast, he had noticed that the message tab of his menu had a notification. Quickly he opened the message his guild leader had sent and read. - Well, well, so we finally will be going on a col gathering event for the guild hall we are hoping to build one day. I wonder who will show up - he thought, while he made himself some simply breakfast.

Once he had finished breakfast, he went to his room again, changed into combat gear, even though he did not equip the shield Eatos had crafted for him. With his leather armour, that only covered his arms and shoulders and the trident he looked a little like some ancient gladiator, even though he should go and get some smith to craft a helmet fitting the style he was going for. The last piece of equipment broke with the style, as it was his guilds sign, the champions robes.
The cloak that looked like the rising sun flew behind him, as he quickly walked down the stairs and called for Huatli, who after a short moment ran towards him from under the tailor table.

Hei and his raptor moved to Stryders shop without any problems, as he had been there before, and when he opened the door, he saw Stryder, talking to three people from the guild. One of them was Dustin, who had just entered the guild before Eatos had killed herself, then there was Arabelle, who he hadn't met as a guildmember, but who he equipped with some military stile equipment. And the last one he hadn't seen in quite some time. Gryas had been part of the harbingers, but Hei hadn't seen him ever since the guild had been disbanded. What Hei heard somehow made him wonder what had happened. there is nothing between the newbie and me. She's an old friend... I ran into her yesterday while at the monument...." was what he heard. - I wonder who the newbie is, and what happened that he has to clarify there is nothing between them - Hei thought, but he acted as if he hadn't heard anything and went on with greeting the others in the room. "Hey, nice to meet you all. Have I missed anything, or are things just about to start? By the way, for everyone who doesn't know me, I'm Hei, co leader of the guild and it's nice to meet you."

  12. With both of them ready to leave the nice and cosy tavern they had been to, Hei opened the door and led the way into the cold and snowy world of the fourth floor. The sun had risen already, but the light was not really bright, as it had started to snow again and the falling snowflakes reflected it back to the sky. None the less, it was good weather, the snowfall was just a little bit, so they would be able to find their way to the cave they were looking for, and the sparkling white that fell from the sky looked gorgeous. "Look at this, I believe the gods are with us today. The last time I have gone for the quest, we got trapped in a blizzard, but it looks like we just got a nice little snowing going on." Hei said happy and smiled at Saphira.
Even though he thought he had got a little used to her sight, but it still took his breath for a short moment.
    - She looks so beautiful, and the snow flying around her head, sticking to her hair makes her look even better - he thought, but was interrupted when Huatli jumped into the snow in front of him and made it fly in all directions. "Hey there, be careful!" he said, even though he knew it wouldn't help, as Huatli just loved the snow.

Moments later they had left the village behind them and maid their way through the snowy hills and forests of the fourth floor, following Hei's directions, as he knew where they had to go. He once or twice saw ice elementals not to far off, but he was able to guide them so they didn't get the mobs aggro even once. They walked through the snow and after some more minutes Hei saw a strangely symmetric heap of snow. Being as curious as he had always been, Hei walked over to the heap, and after brushing away some of the snow, he found a wooden chest hidden underneath it. "Hey sweety, come over here, I found something." he said, so Saphira would see the chest too.

  13. While he was sitting there, eating his belated breakfast and feeding Huatli with small pieces of meat, it seemed the others were still talking. Hei was wondering what they talked about, but then he wasn't the kind of person eavesdropping on others, so he would mind his own business until one of them would ask for him.
With the rolls eaten, Hei was ready to continue working on the field he had sown and the first plants he had watered had indeed grown. There were carrots ready for harvest and right next to them grain that was looking like it would be ready within the next few minutes. Hei who had never really done garden work in the real word, but who had travelled and seen, how long fields of grain took to ripen was really impressed and happy, that he wouldn't have to wait month for his field to yield crops. "Wow, that's quite a bit of food. I'll probably be able to exchange it for some nice fabric with the old lady" he said to Huatli as if she could fully understand what he was saying.

  14. After Hei had tried to craft the item Sunova had ordered, he was exhausted. The work had been hard and none of the items was good enough for his customer, so eh had to hand a rare version of it to her, promising her, that he would finish the perfect one once he had gotten more materials to work with.

A few days later Hei still hadn't had any time to gather materials, so he still wasn't able to craft the item that was ordered, when a girl entered his shop. She looked a little nervous, when she entered and made her way to the custom order forms. Hei had  a look at the item she wanted to order, and when she told him, he could message her once it was done, he was okay with it, even though he quickly replied @Kirbs "Okay, I'll message you, but it'll take some time. I'm out of mats at the moment, so if you want to get it soon, it would be quicker if you would pay in mats. But col is okay if you can wait."

Later on a blond player with a stern look in his face entered the shop, more or less ignored Hei and took one, no two order forms, filled them and left them with the note, that he would pay with col for both. Hei who hadn't said a word later messaged the player
    Hey @Cosi,
At the moment I am out of materials, so if you need the items rather quick, paying in mats would be helpful.
If you can't pay in mats, it'll be some time till I get to craft your items.

  15. Hei had been waiting for Dustin to come and lend him some mats, and when Dustin arrived, he had a good junk of materials for him. Hei who had only asked for a few was quite thankful and so he asked Dustin to have some cake with him. He was still sitting there, eating cake when a white haired girl entered his shop, had a look at the cloth he had in stock and then walked over to him with a smile in her face. "Nice to meet you. My name is Hei, and I am honoured you chose me to craft your equipment. Feel free to take a seat and get some cake and tea. I'll be back soon."  Hei said, as he took the filled form and walked over to the workshop.

    - Okay, so she want to have some armour to protect her, and the design is pretty nice too. - Hei thought, as he pulled some materials from his inventory and started crafting. The items he created weren't as good as he had intended, so he had to return to Sunova without the item she had requested. " Hey @Sunova, I didn't got the items as good as you wanted it to be. So how about I'll give you this not as good as wanted version now, and we can either enhance it later on, or I'll craft a perfect version of the item later."

  17. It seemed she had simply ignored the last part of what he had said, but Hei was happy about that. If she didn't knew what Sub Zero was, it was even better, as she wouldn't worry about it, and there were other more important things to think of right now. - Breakfast - was the only real thought that crossed his brain, as his stomach rumbling again with them walking downstairs, where they met the old Lady host. "Good Morning" Hei said, when she greeted them, and when she left to bring some kind of breakfast, Hei wondered just as much as Saphira, what she would bring.

It took her some time to return, but when she was back, she had a tray with two plates on it, both of them filled with rolls and scrambled eggs, besides it a pot of hot chocolate and she asked "Do you want to have some marmalade?" to find out, if they wanted to have some sweet food as well. When Hei said, that he would love to have some, she disappeared for a short moment, just to return with a plate with pancakes and a glass of sweet marmalade for them. The Breakfast was great, and Hei took in all the heat he could from the hot chocolate, as he knew, it would be getting quite cold out there.

With his stomach satisfied Hei was ready to go adventuring and get the rare item they were looking for. So he turned to Saphira, opening his menu at the same time. "Hey, how about we go and kill an ice monster?" he said and sent a party invite to Saphira, so he would be able to see her HP in his HUD. Before he closed the menu he quickly swapped his equipment to warm clothing, which included long pants and a black coat. On top of these, he equipped the battle gear including his leather pauldrons, the champions robes, that hang over his back, shining in the colours of the rising sun, and the trident Eatos had crafted for him.
With his equipment changed, he turned back to Saphira and asked her if she was ready.

  18. After Dustin had left him to go and talk to Eatos, Hei had started working in the field. Huatli had started running around, chasing a butterfly that had appeared in the flower garden that was just a few feet away. While the raptor jumped through the garden, Hei was working hard. He plough the earth, planted seeds and after that, he started walking towards the well, that was off a little bit. Once he was there, he started to wind up the bucket from the well, filling a watering pot and bringing it back to the patch to water the freshly sown plants. As this work was hard and he was sweating already, Hei decided that he would leave the plants for a moment, so they would be able to grow, while he would have a short break, drink some of the cold water and eat a bun he had bought earlier. While he was eating, Huatli finally managed to reach the butterfly and caught it with her mouth, then eating it, just to return to Hei and beg him for some food as well.

Other than this, Hei realized, that Pin looked really nervous, which might be because he had met them here and was no longer part of the guild. The other two had not attacked the rock after it had gone down into the red, and so it was only Dustin who ran towards the rock and hit it with quite some strength, but the rock didn't lose any help. Dustin had said, that someone should break the rock, before he would break someone around and maybe going insane.
Hei who though of this quest more as a lesson than of a fight turned to Dustin and said
"We won't break the rock for you, if you really want to become stronger and use your body as weapon, you need to understand, that it is the inner will and not the body you have to train. So show this rock who will stand in the end"

  21. Hei had been in his shop, waiting for customers and preparing some tea for himself when a player he had never seen before entered his shop. The player had a look at the items he had in stock, but it seemed he wasn't interested in anything of it, as he headed straight for the custom order forms. Hei who knew a lot of players, who came to his place to get them some perfect items assumed that the player would too.
He filled in the form and put it in the box, then walked over to Hei, smiled at him and introduced himself. "Nice to meet you Ptolemy. My name is Hei, Champion of the New Dawn. Thanks, I took a while to get to it's current state. " then the other player added, that he would be happy or the item to be done, but that he was in no rush, so Hei had some time to work on it. "Okay, I will message you once the item is done." he said and as Ptolemy exited the store, Hei made his way to the workshop.
Looking at the few materials he had left, he quickly wrote a message at his guildmate Dustin, who probably had some mats he could lend.

    Hey @Dustin
It's Hei. I just realized I am short on mats, would be super cool if I could borrow a few from you.

After Hei had gotten the materials from Dustin, he quickly was able to craft the item @Ptolemy had ordered and sent a message to him.

Hey, I just finished your item, feel free to come by and pick it up any time.

  22. As everyone of his teammates had stated what they thought about the not so concrete plan he had made, Hei thought about what they said. - So I see that Eatos agrees that it would be a good idea, and it is nice of her to suggest Saphira grouping up with me. So i think it's a good idea, even with Saphira thinking that it would be better for her to attack the dragon for her bleeding effect. With what Stryder said, I think we can ignore the bleed for this fight and go with Saphira going with me. Stryder could end the dragon without any help, and probably with just one attack, so we should let Embers have her time to attack it first. Don't want to be close to her, if Stry kills the dragon without her having a chance to hit it. -
With all this considered, Hei turned back to his friends and teammates and said "So if I followed correctly, I would divide the group into two parties, one of them is Saphira and me fighting the adds. Saphira, it's right that you could stun the dragon, but I don't believe we need to rely on this with Stryder being strong enough for the dragon right now. Eatos will heal the team that fights the dragon, as it will probably be able to start some sort of attack before they kill it. Embers, are you okay with attacking the dragon before Stryder strikes and ends the fight?" Hoping that the tactic would work and everyone got his or her chance to shine in this fight, Hei invites Saphira into his party and walks towards the clearing the dragon should appear. As soon as he entered the clearing a green dragon hatchling jumped out of the bushes, looking at Hei and then howling some words in a language Hei didn't understand. After a few seconds two cloaked figures appear from the other side of the clearing and start walking towards Hei, raising ritual daggers and singing something in the strange language the dragon was talking before. ...

  23. Hei had made his way into the garden, and without any problems had gathered a few materials already. Dustin who had ran towards the garden overly excited had found some mats himself, and now he was right next to Hei, asking him who he had heard from about this garden. "You are right, it's really easy to gather right here, and the harvest is really good too. I already got a good amount of materials without really looking for them. And to answer your question, I heard a couple of players talk about it, when they visited my shop, and I thought it would be a good place to visit myself, to have a look and if it was true inform my guild." After Hei had told Dustin, it seemed the boy was more interested in talking to Eatos, so Hei let him go and walked towards the old lady that was sitting behind her stall.

"Good Morning Miss, I heard you sell seeds I can plant in this garden. I'd like to get a good mix of everything you got, and if I recall right, you'll take the fruit and exchange it for materials I can use, am I correct" Hei asked the women, who with her old crackling voice told him, that she had seeds and that she would exchange the fruit for fabric or what ever he needed. With this knowledge Hei ordered seeds and made his way over to one of the fields, where he started digging the ground and ploughing the field, so eh could sow it. The work was hard, but it felt right to work for it, and when he started sweating he looked to the row he had dug out by now, and knew, it was time for him to plant the first seeds, so they would be a able to grow while he continued working.

  24. Hei had been out to get some new ideas for his new set of armour he had been thinking about creating when he had heard the bell sound, that told him he had gotten some a message. As he wasn't busy at the time, he instantly opened the message his guild mate had sent him, and when he started reading he instantly knew something wasn't right. The choice of words made him think of someone who had decided that it was time for a cut, and when read, that she used the past for them having something special he was shocked. He took a moment before he was able to continue reading the text. - This ... This can't be. Why would she do something like that - he thought, when he reached the part of the message that told him she had died and jumped off the balcony on this floor.

    Spoiler

Hei, we don’t know each other well, but the three of us founded the guild together and through that, i hope we had something special. Seeing you with Dustin however, i knew, even then, today would come. You can only be receiving this message, because i’ve died. I’ve jumped off the balcony on the 1st floor, like many before me.

You never knew this, but in the real world, i had helped kill people. Those voices have haunted me for years, and i can’t fend them off. It is easier, to choose this way, and end my suffering for my sin. I’ve had nightmares for months now, and i can finally sleep.

Please take care of the guild. I’m scared of what Stryder may do. Please, remember, this was my choice, and no ones fault by my own.

I hope you live a happy life alongside Saphira.

Hei closed the message before finishing it, as he was not to far away, and he couldn't let it happen. There must be a way to stop her. She couldn't just jump, that was what was in his mind, while he ran towards the balcony like some kind of maniac, tears rolling down his face. His screaming her name could be heard through half the town, but he was to late.
When he arrived there, there was no trace of her, and he was sure she had done it for real. Standing right there, where she had ended her life, Hei was crying, screaming her name again and again, until he felt the cold in him take over. The feeling of nothingness took over and Hei curled up on the floor, unable to move.

In some way Eatos had been right, they hadn't know each other to well, but she had been an important part of his life, even though she might not have known. Losing someone who had been a friend in this game for so long and for no reason at all made him feel so empty. When he opened the eyes again, his tears had dried and the sun had set. - Seems like I missed some time. I for sure should go and check on Stryder, it mus be even harder on him. They were so close, I believe she was the closest to family he had within this game. - Hei thought, when he remembered that he hadn't finished the message. Still sitting at the balcony, he opened it again, to read what Eatos last words were, and reading the few lines she had sent, his guts cramped. - I knew she had had problems, but I would have never guessed something like that. If I had been more persistent and had really tried to talk to her, maybe she would still be here - he thought, and the pain of loss and him blaming himself made him shrink down once again.
It took some moments before he realized what it really meant, and
as Stryder was her best friend, he probably knew all along, and must feel even worse, as he must feel like he really had a chance to help her, but it hadn't been enough.

When Stryder sent them the message, that they had to come to the fourth floor, Hei wanted to make his way up there as quick as possible, but he had to arrange a few things first, so he went over to his shop/home and changed into some more appropriate attire. The dark blue and white traditional Chinese attire looked unfamiliar on him, but he had learned that one had to pay his respect in the right way. So besides the clothing, he searched for black strips of fabric he and the others could wear on there writs to honour Eatos. For the next, Hei had to cross his traditional thinking, as there was no real family here, but he saw Stryder as her closest, so he would be the one he would treat as her family.

With his preparations done, Hei made his way to the fourth floor, where he without any problem made his way towards Eatos home. Seeing the Building, and besides it the picture of her made the tears come up once again. With tears running down his face he barely was able to see who was there already, but when he came closer, he saw Dustin, Arabelle and Stryder stand there, grieving the loss. Wiping away the tears, at least for a moment, he walked over to them and laid down a wreath of whit irises in front of the tree her picture hang. "I ... I wished I had known you better. There were so many chances and I missed all of them." heavy sighting from Hei " Please forgive that I just realize this now you aren't with us anymore. I have to thank you for so much" he told the picture, but was interrupted by himself crying and shivering multiple times.
When he had ended his sentence, he turned to Stryder, who was in the middle of the others.
"I... I know you were best friends, but I believe you were way more to her than just that, so please take my condolences."  Hei pulled out a white envelope and handed it to Stryder "Please, let me add something to always remember her. She made them for me, and they saved me multiple times, I think she would have liked it, if they would stay here with her"  Hei said, as he got the spear and shield Eatos had crafted all that time ago, when they hadn't been part of the Guardians, but the Harbingers instead, and handed them to Stryder, so he could decide if it was okay for them to be displayed whit her memorial.

  25. While they had been walking towards the garden, Eatos had been quiet, and even when it came in sight, she seemed to not be as pleased with the view as the others. She simply said that it looked nice, and even that with hesitation. - Maybe her problems are bigger than I thought. Filling up all her live and drowning the joy, but I can't help her if she doesn't see me as a friend to talk to - he thought. Then Dustin arrived at the top of the hill, he was way more excited than Eatos, and even more than Hei, but this might be the cause, as Hei had been there once before.

The next thing Hei saw was Dustin running down the hill towards the garden, grabbing some plants and putting them in his inventory. "Seems he already has found something. We probably should follow him" he said before he walked down the hill himself. When he reached the garden, Dustin was spinning with his arms out and Hei could see the joy in his face. "Looks like you already found something, let me have a look too" he said towards Dustin, before he made his way towards the closest tree and shook it, so multiple mango like fruit fell down and he simply had to collect them.
