  1. @Vigilon missed. And he rolled down the hill with Avalanche stomping angrily after him. Again. Arabelle pressed a gloved palm to her face. Doesn't this scene seem familiar? It was almost like she went back in time somehow, with Vigilon rolling down the hill in a different manner. She watched the big Vigilon snowball roll into a wall of ice and burst. At the top left corner of her vision, she spotted his HP going down as the big ice elemental let out a joyful roar and pummeled the boy with its big fists. "The mob is still luckier than Vigilon. This one needs a nerf, game maker," Arabelle commented to herself tiredly. Then she laughed a bit at her own joke.

Was she supposed to jump in now? Avalanche had already chased Vigilon around enough times to assure her that its attention was definitely on the brunet. However, he had told her earlier not to fight until he told her to...I suppose I'll have to follow the higher-leveled player's orders on this.

  2. Arabelle accepted @Fetu Lagi's party invite with a small laugh. "The quest name is <<Secret Medicine of the Forest>>. Angie and I have already taken it, so we know. And, what you mentioned was the thread name," she informatively pointed upwards at what seemed like nothing with an innocent smile. She turned to @Spangie. "I get what you mean! Not many people around, and really nice and quiet. Perfect place to draw for an artist like you~."

She kept silent as @Krysta gave a long explanation of the quest for the people who didn't know about it yet. She took note of the optimistic and somewhat formal way the girl spoke. She seems to have the qualities of a charismatic leader. Maybe if she trained herself a bit more, she could be good enough to lead a guild, Arabelle hypothesized. She pulled her scythe out as the girl did and raised it to the air as well. "Onwards!" she cheered, following after the team's 'leader'.

On the way, @Reinholt proposed a strategy for the fight. "Sounds good," Arabelle said with a nod. She looked at the top left corner of her vision and noticed that only four got into their party. Right. They were five. "Oh, I also think we should figure out how to divide ourselves. Maximum party limit is four, remember? And we're five so...three in one party and two in the other. Two of the highest-leveled players here should be in each party so they could take the hits for the lower-leveled people. No offense. So, what're everyone's levels? I'm level 3."

  3. Arabelle laughed at Vigilon's question. "I guess they do. This is a game, after all~. Anything can happen," she responded. Now that Vigilon had found a material, she looked around too. Maybe there were more materials in the immediate area. She spotted Tsu picking up a herb. Or maybe the players around her had picked all of them up already... But that was fine. There'll be more once they placed more distance between themselves and the safe zone.

She listened to the other players talk about her shop and decided to share, too. "I've got a shop too, though I've kind of put my crafting on hiatus. Ran out of materials and well...not many players buy from Performers. Unless they're going on dungeons or boss raids," Arabelle said that last part with a sigh. Sure, it was fun playing lots of classical pieces on her studio-type piano, but the fact that no one had been buying deterred her slightly. She laughed at Tsu's joke about McDonald's. "McFroppy's, huh? It's a witty name. I like it! And now that you've said that, I've got to try one of your burgers sometime. To see the difference and all."

  4. Don't let the ball touch their ground. Let the ball touch the other team's ground. But I already knew that! Arabelle whined inwardly. She could imagine herself pulling at her cheeks in frustration. Gosh, why had she even said she could play volleyball if they needed a slot filled? That was a bad decision. Very bad decision. "Alright," she managed, stretching her arms. As if that would help against the experienced volleyball player on the other side of the net.

The small girl watched as @Spangie served the ball, taking note of the blonde's movements. She followed the volleyball with her eyes as it soared over the net. Okaaay... Then @Froppy caught it, and now it was soaring over the net going back to their side. Arabelle didn't miss the fact that Tsu directed it at her instead of Angie. Target the weakest link. Smart choice. She held her arms out in front of her, imitating her teammate's stance, and stumbled backward. The volleyball made contact with her forearms and she hit the ball upward. And she watched it soar up...and up...until it landed on her team's ground. Arabelle's face turned red as she looked over at Angie, hoping the girl would give her tips.

    @Embers

[ooc: sorry Spangie! Bella's inexperienced with volleyball, so it makes the most sense for her to screw up.]

  5. The first wolf sprung at her, teeth bared. Arabelle resisted the urge to turn tail and run away (won't do much, honestly. they'll just run after her), and held up her weapon to block the wolf's incoming attack. She kept her attention divided equally among the three mobs. She knew the movements of Floor 1 mobs well enough to know that they only attack in turns. For the newbies, maybe. Still, though. But suddenly, a flash of blue and white passed by her and threw the attacking wolf back. Arabelle blinked. It was a boy and a white wolf. Without even pausing, they handled the other two mobs in a flurry of punches and kicks. Both shattered almost instantly. "Who...what?" Arabelle shut her mouth. It was a player and his familiar, obviously.

The mob that the boy had thrown against the tree slowly recovered with a pained whimper. Its HP bar showed that it was in the red zone. Easy picking. The wolf staggered onto its feet, but before it could attempt an attack, Arabelle appeared in front of it and swung her scythe. The weapon's blade hooked onto the wolf's skin and she spun, throwing it against another tree. The mob whined and promptly shattered. She let out a sigh of relief. That's one disaster averted. The small purple-haired girl turned to the boy who was now asking if she was alright. Now for disaster number two: the guy who had to save me from some low-leveled mobs. What an embarrassing way to meet someone. "I'm fine~. Thanks for the help, though. I would've been overwhelmed." In an almost reckless show of trust, she sheathed her scythe across her back and smiled innocently. "I'm Arabelle. Thanks again. What's your name?"

  6. Arabelle placed more distance between her and the fight once again, climbing up the snowy hill she'd positioned herself on previously. Hopefully, @Vigilonwouldn't feel the need to focus on her too much and concentrate on landing hits. Which, to be honest, he wasn't doing well right now. Three misses in a row. Does the terrain interfere with a player's ACC stat? Her gaze moved to the upper left corner of her vision. No debuffs in effect. Maybe the problem is how difficult it is to move around in the snow. It was a good assumption, she supposed. Arabelle couldn't move forward a few steps without her feet sinking into the snow.

Avalanche raised its big fists and smashed down on the ground in front of Vigilon. From where she was standing, she could hear the mob growling unhappily at its miss. "At least the mob's unlucky, too," Arabelle commented with a sigh.

  7. Arabelle laughed at @Pinball's response. "Yes, that's completely reasonable. I'm a straight person myself, but seeing all the lovely girls in swimsuits is making me rethink my sexuality." The purple-haired girl paused, before chuckling and waving a hand in front of her face. "Juuust kidding! Though I have to admit, I do have my eyes on one person here." As per Arabelle's usual personality, that last part was not a serious statement, too. It was just something she had purposefully said to mess with everyone. But not many people could tell that, considering the natural way she'd said it. Seb looks pretty good in a swimsuit though...

Another voice spoke up. @Hazado had followed her to the small group (comprised of mostly girls) that was now forming around Pin and initiated a conversation, much to Arabelle's surprise. Maybe it came easier for him since it was obvious that Pin was feeling very awkward, if his red face from a while ago was any indication. She noted the lack of a water-filled bucket and warily came out from her hiding spot behind Angie's back. "Hazado, this is--" Arabelle began, only to be interrupted by Tsu innocently throwing a jab at the awkward boy beside her. Oooooh, ouch. Are they even still friends at this point? Pin promptly walked out, and after an announcement made by Fae, the group dispersed. What is it with that shy kid that attracts people to him? Oh wait, I approached him too...

The purple-haired girl didn't get enough time to decide whether she should follow him or not as Fae threw a volleyball at her. "Whoa!" Arabelle backed up and caught the ball with both hands. Right. Volleyball. If catching a ball was already difficult for her, how about keeping it afloat in the air with a bunch of rules set in place? And hadn't Tsu mentioned that she played volleyball for a school team before? Oh, God. They're so gonna wipe the floor with us. She shook her head and jogged over to @Spangie and grinned. At least she would be miserably failing at volleyball with a friend. They took their positions on their side of the court, and Arabelle quickly studied the people on the other side of the net. A volleyball player and a tall ginger who was all geared up for the game. "I haven't really played volleyball before. Got any idea how to?" Regardless of the girl's answer, Arabelle would toss the ball to her friend with a sheepish smile. "You serve first. I'll try to learn from watching. Good luck~!"

  8. Arabelle's hearing picked up an interesting conversation from across the room. (It was a bit easy for her. She was a musician, and most musicians had a good ear. And they were practically shouting. "Noooo! I can't sing!" "Be free! Sing for Pinball!" She turned her gaze in the direction of the exchange curiously and spotted Angie stomping towards their hostess. It wasn't hard to figure out who won the argument. Arabelle watched as her blonde friend spoke with Nova and a small smile formed on her face.  She had no idea how good Angie was at singing, and she was excited to find out.

Arabelle turned her attention back to the conversation she was currently engaged in. @Vigilon had become a bit flustered at her suggestion and mumbled an objection before seeking his girlfriend's opinion. So he probably wants to, deep inside. Can't blame him. I would definitely want to play a piano duet with the person I like, too. "I'm sure it'll be fun," she told him assuringly. But really, she was looking forward to seeing those two sing. If only video cameras existed in this game...

[ooc: didn't have much to react to so...filler post for the SP lol]

  9. She gave her surroundings a long, sweeping gaze. No materials in sight. Arabelle nodded politely with a smile as @Reinholt told her he didn't mind the extra company. She wasn't expecting any other answer though. since he was the one who posted the request on the town's bulletin board, and her introductory statement seemed more of a formality than anything. The small purple-haired girl gave him a quick once-over again. Seemed intimidating with all the heavy armor (like all the tanks did), but he seemed like a nice guy despite all that. "Do you have a shop, Mr. Reinholt?" Arabelle inquired. There was only one reason why most players gathered materials and it was because they had stuff to craft.

She laughed at @Froppy's comment. "It's great to see you, too. But gosh, that was awkward. I suppose when you get used to staring down at your own flat chest your whole life, you'd be pretty dumbfounded when you see someone with a bigger rack." For the sake of the only male player in their group, she lowered her voice so only Tsu could hear her last sentence.

Then @Vigilon arrived, faceplanting into the ground (probably from exhaustion). His small dragon familiar was not present, probably up in the sky somewhere doing its usual antics. Before Arabelle could move, Tsu was already pulling him up and helping clean him off. Arabelle snorted and attempted to restrain a laugh. God, he really did run himself to the ground. Poor guy. "You alright, Vigilon?" He was extremely tired and looked like he was about to take a nap on the ground right now, but she predicted his answer would be a 'yes'. "I have some cold coffees in my inventory. Want a drink?"

  10. She let out a hiss as one of the Nepent's vinelike arms curled around her leg and slammed her against a tree. Black spots overtook her vision and a tingling sensation spread throughout her body. Revenge for her hit from a while ago, maybe. Arabelle peeled herself from the trunk and groggily shook her head. Her gaze focused on the upper left of her vision. 10 HP! The mob had dealt ten freaking damage on her. Three more hits and she was toast. (At least she wasn't below half-health yet). Arabelle turned her head in the direction of the Nepent Variant as her blonde friend took off, mumbling that she wouldn't hit. "Don't jinx it--" Spangie missed her attack, and Arabelle could pretty much hear the girl's internal screams of frustration. "Told you." Shaking her head to free herself from her dizziness, the scythe-wielder jumped in to assist her friend. The blade of her weapon sliced through the roots of the Variant's lower body...and didn't leave much of a cut. "Awww. Armor's too tough for my basic attacks."

  11. "Vigilon!" Arabelle exclaimed from her spot on the hill. Oh god, now I just turned into that useless anime trope. She watched helplessly as the boy rolled down the hill and disappeared from her view. Avalanche stomped after him angrily, and if the ground's shaking was any indication, the mob had probably taken advantage of the player's momentary vulnerability to land a hit by now. She winced as she saw her party member's HP go down, and began carefully making her way down the hill, barely taking notice of their other teammate, Outlander. Arabelle didn't want to trip and roll down the hill as Vigilon just did. The fall damage, if there was any, would probably kill her. She carefully circled the mob, keeping a good distance from it and spotted the boy getting back up and standing between her and the large ice elemental. Oh, good. And here she thought she would have to chuck potions at him until he recovered. She quickly placed some more distance between her and the mob but kept her battle axe at ready.

  12. @Etherial quickly accepted her invitation to come along and Arabelle smiled warmly at the girl. She's so cute. Arabelle turned back to @Pinball and @Reinholt. The teenager was still looking around curiously, trying to figure out where she had come from earlier, and she let out a small laugh. "Keep being cute, and I might just tell you," she teased, her signature playful smile forming on her lips. "Oh, and Mr. Reinholt! You should tell me about that sometime," Arabelle said, referring to the man's joke about Pin saying he was being robbed.

After they were done chatting though, their party's 'leader' (if they were going on a level basis) went straight to business. Pin summed up the quest details for all of them and raised a fist into the air, like he was giving an impassioned speech in the middle of a battle. It seemed a bit anticlimactic, considering they were about to embark on a low-leveled quest (with their numbers, they'd probably just kill the quest mob in one round!). But Arabelle still went along with it. "To victory!" the small purple-haired girl cheered and punched her fist into the air. Then she lowered her arm and swiped through her menus. Party requests popped up in front of everyone, along with a notification of a party leadership transfer to Pin.

Once they were all in the party, Arabelle skipped a few steps away and waited for the others to follow. As much as she would've loved to stay and chat with the three players, they had come here for the quest, and it was her way of saying that they should get going now. "Okay, so Pin mentioned a cave," the purple-haired girl began, her voice taking on a more serious tone. "And I've played enough video games to know that something's gonna pop up and attack us. Got any additional info on the mobs we might be facing, Pin?"

  13. And yet again, a bucketload of water was dumped onto Arabelle's head. She whirled around and spotted @Hazado running away while yelling an apology. Why was she always the main target when it comes to buckets full of water?! Oh, right. Compared to Angie, they don't have to lift it up that high. The short-statured girl's face went red at her realization. "I'll-I'll get you both for that!" she declared, running over to the ocean to refill her bucket.

She hefted up the now-full bucket, water sloshing off its sides, and looked for her next target. Angie was running after Hazado...oh wait, she had approached a new arrival. She squinted and moved a bit closer. Is that Pin? Arabelle spotted Tsu sidling up to the boy and pretty much pressing her boobs against his arm. The boy's face went red. That's definitely him. Back together, then? The purple-haired girl wanted to watch the drama unfolding before her, but then remembered she still had someone to dump water on. Arabelle looked around quickly and saw Hazado now alone and Grimm standing quite a distance away. Eenie meenie miney mo... Her gaze landed on Hazado. Grinning, she tightened her grip on her bucket and took off in a run.

At some point, she managed to get ahead of him and stopped directly in front of him with an evil grin. "My, my. I definitely didn't expect that. It seems that the quiet boy has a feisty side." Her smile turned teasing. "You're adorable." And as the boy stood surprised at her statement, she spun and swung her bucket upwards with all her might. The water hit him directly in the face. "Bye!" Arabelle winked and ran away. She jogged up to @Pinball and @Spangie, making sure to keep the two between her and Hazado. If he came to attack her with another bucket...he'd have to go through those two first. "Pin! Finally another guy! You here to admire all the pretty girls? Or maybe the guys?" Arabelle greeted with a smile. She took a few moments to read the situation. For one thing, Angie seemed a bit worried. A small frown appeared on Arabelle's face. So they're not back together. Aw.

  14. With one last swing of Arabelle's scythe, two wolves landed on the ground in front of her, their growls turning into pathetic whines as they attempted to get up only to burst into red crystals and dissipate. She swiped at the area right in front of her for a good measure and scanned her surroundings for hidden mobs. Finding nothing, the scythe-user paused to catch her breath and glanced at her HP, now in the yellow zone. This...was a bad idea. A very bad idea that stemmed from her overconfidence in gaining a few levels in the span of a week and also severely underestimating the mobs on this floor.

She leaned against a nearby tree, still gripping the scythe with one hand, and quietly watched her HP tick back to the green zone. It was quiet. She should probably have contacted someone who could easily carry her like Pin, but with the defeat of the latest floor boss and the opening of a new floor, she was sure higher-leveled players like him would be spending their time exploring and taking the new quests. Maybe even power-leveling to join the frontlines, though she couldn't really imagine the awkward teenager fighting alongside the bravest players of Aincrad (no offense). Or maybe someone like Angie, or the other people she met at the parties she attended just a few days earlier... Anything but being alone.

A formless blob emerged from the ground just a few meters away from her, and it quickly took the shape of yet another wolf. Two more blobs emerged from the ground and did the same. And she was already in their damn aggro circle. Arabelle gritted her teeth and assumed a defensive stance. HP not fully regenerated, three health potions, and three mobs. If nothing else attacks me afterward, I won't die from this. She brought her guard up as they neared. The bushes behind her rustled.

  15. The mischievous purple-haired player bounced on her heels excitedly, the water sloshing off the bucket she was carrying. @Grimm started a countdown and as he was close to saying 'Go!', Arabelle lifted her bucket and hovered over @Hazado's sleeping form. But really, I'm not gonna pour it on Hazado. Seb would be a more suitable target!  "Revenge!" the other player suddenly shouted. Arabelle was a bit slower to react and it resulted in the water from Seb's getting dumped onto her head. The water from her bucket arced over Hazado and landed harmlessly on the spot Seb had been standing on earlier. "Aaaagghhh! That was my idea, too!" Arabelle complained with a pout, dropping the plastic bucket. She quickly looked around the beach and saw the boy jumping off the docks.

Arabelle was about to charge right after him, but then @Spangie woke up, visibly pissed off with her and Seb's shouting. The girl smirked. Still dripping wet, she suddenly hugged Angie and faked a couple of sobs and an unusually childish tone. "Angieee!! Seb dumped a bucket of water on me! He's being such a meanie!" she tattled. Her ally successfully secured, she pulled away from the hug and pointed at the ocean. "He's over there! Let's get him!" With that, she ran up the docks and jumped into the water, grinning evilly at Seb. "Two versus one!" she cheered, splashing the boy with water.

  16. Arabelle let out her breath in a puff. It just has 5 HP! One critical hit from me should be enough to bring it down. She observed silently as her blonde friend tripped and missed her attack. Meanwhile, the Nepent Variant was still stunned and was unable to make an attack while @Spangie was vulnerable. Thank god for my Paralyze enhancements...even though one attack from the Variant wouldn't have done much to her health, anyway. "I'll have enough energy for a Sword Art," the scythe-user corrected. Exactly on cue, her energy regenerated back to 2. "Welp. There it is. My turn!"

The girl's scythe glowed a bright green as she skipped into the Nepent's range and swung the weapon with all her might, visibly generating another shockwave. The shockwave came closer to the mob and before it could hit, the wave promptly...died. "What?" Her energy all used up, Arabelle fell back and checked the mob's HP. It's totally unaffected! "Guess you'll have to finish it off, then. Don't miss!"

  18. Arabelle received a reply and contemplated her situation for a few moments and typed out yet another PM.

    Quote

    To: Vigilon

Welp. Player's probably waiting. No need to rush, though! I can get there by myself. Sending to you the estimated coordinates of the player's location. See ya!

With that, she faced the town's exit and started walking. Once she arrived at the safe zone's border, she paused to bring her scythe out of her inventory and give it a few experimental swings. Even now, I can't even begin to think how Macradon made such a big weapon feel so light and easy to use. Master craftsman indeed! Arabelle smiled to herself and sheathed the weapon across her back. On the way to the player's location, she carefully stepped away from the mob's aggro circles and even sent her crow to scout out the surroundings. Nothing happened and thankfully, it was an uneventful trip.

She spotted a heavily-armored man (@Reinholt) along with a girl with a long tongue. Tsu! Arabelle waved to the both of them as she approached. "Hello! I saw the message you posted. Hope you don't mind if I join. I'm Arabelle," she said, addressing the man first. Then, she turned to Tsu and grinned. "Hey there, Tsu! I've seen you in two parties already, so now I can't seem to say that I wasn't expecting to see you here. You're literally everywhere! Anyways, how have you been?"

  19. The crow on her shoulder flew away and perched on a nearby tree's branches as Arabelle heard a familiar and very energetic voice from behind her. She turned around to check and was instantly tackled into a tight hug. "Angie...?" she asked, hoping it really was her. The blonde-haired girl faked a couple of sobs and broke the hug to shake her by her shoulders, overexaggerating her next few sentences. Arabelle laughed and hugged the girl once again. She somehow always appears when I think about her. Should I think about her all the time, then? "Eeeeee! It's really you! I missed you!" And she quickly pulled away, knowing that there were three other players who were probably feeling out of place right now. "Why is it that we always bump into each other in this town? You don't live here, do you?"

She turned to Krysta and nodded. Another player had arrived, and she decided to introduce herself properly to the other players. She took her turn after the tall, armored man who looked like a tank (@Reinholt) introduced himself. "I'm Arabelle, but you can call me Bella. Nice to meet you, everyone. You guys are planning to take the medicine quest, right? Angie and I have already taken it, and we'd be happy to assist you," she said, her voice taking on an informed, more serious tone. Of course, she also took the time to nudge @Spangie playfully, prompting the blonde to also say something. "My weapon also has lots of AoE attacks, so no need to worry about getting swarmed."

  20. Arabelle laughed at Pin's reaction, bringing a gloved hand up to cover her mouth. She may have a penchant for messing with others, but she was still a refined young lady who once studied in a Catholic school...maybe. "Ahahahaha! You're a high-leveled player aren't you, Pin? You should--" she paused to catch her breath and stopped laughing. A memory of a girl with platinum blonde hair - around the same level range as Pin - flashed across her mind. "You should watch your surroundings a lot more. Lots of people wanting to do more than surprise you~. Oh wait, we're in a safe zone." The purple-haired girl walked around the bench until she was directly in front of Pin. She leaned close, poked his arm, and smiled innocently at his question. "Can't tell you~. That's a trade secret."

A man approached them, Pin called him @Reinholt. She moved away from the boy and stared at the middle-aged man dressed in heavy armor. He looks really strong! "I'm Arabelle," she introduced with a friendly smile, making herself as respectable-looking as possible. "And yeah, Pin, it's fine. The more the merrier!"

Only then did she shift her attention to the cute white-haired girl (@Etherial) sitting on the bench. The girl's face was red. Eeeeee! Her hair is so long and it's so pretty and her clothes and eyes match her hair and she looks so shy and-- "Hello," Arabelle greeted, her tone taking on a certain gentleness Pin probably had never heard before. "I'm Arabelle, but you can call me Bella. And yes, we're going on a quest. Wanna come along?"

  21. Arabelle glanced at Angie and Pin once again. On one hand, she really wanted to talk with her blonde friend, mainly cause they've never hung out at a party before and she wanted to make up for kind-of ditching her just a while ago. But on the other hand, she was currently engaged in a conversation with @Froppy, someone she really wanted to get to know more. And Pin was jumpy around Tsu and would probably leave the party altogether if she dragged the frog girl along with her. She should probably let him have his fun. She shifted on her feet and overheard @Vigilon and @Krysta talking about the karaoke contest. The purple-haired girl turned to Tsu. "Hey, do you already know Vigilon and Krysta?"

After hearing the girl's response, she turned in the two players' direction and beckoned to her newfound friend. She moved forward and went to stand beside Krysta. "Hello!" she greeted cheerfully. (She'd let Tsu introduce herself first if she didn't know the two players yet). "Heard you were planning to join the karaoke, Krysta. I'm sure you'll do good. Oh, and Vigilon, are you gonna sing, too? You guys should do a duet! I think you'd instantly win the competition if you do!" Arabelle chattered. "I mean, Nova didn't say anything against singing together, right?"

  22. "A fancy name..." Arabelle echoed. She thought, long and hard, trying to come up with something nice and classy. But she still came up with nothing. She was never the best at naming stuff. "Oh well. Guess I'll just have to think about it some other time. I've still got lots of stuff to craft before opening up my shop, anyway." The purple-haired girl let out a tired sigh and looked up at Pinball. She'd spent a whole day with him and she still wasn't used to his height. Or his awkward personality. But he was a nice person, and she had fun talking to him. She dropped her gloved hand as soon as he shook it and hid her hands behind her back. "Yup. See ya!" She waved goodbye and watched his retreating figure for a few moments before turning around and leaving, too. The sudden loneliness had settled in, but at least they were going to hang out again soon.

  23. Arabelle giggled quietly at @Spangie's obliviousness and watched as the girl entered the water after her. Somehow, she wasn't surprised. Probably even expected it. She quickly submerged her head underwater once again and resurfaced, squeezing the hair out of her ponytail. Then, she lied on her back and let herself float, allowing for a brief moment of peace before she would start splashing everyone else with water.

...which was quickly interrupted by a loud splash! and lots of seawater raining down on her. The purple-haired girl found her footing on the sand once again and let out an annoyed sound that was somehow like a mix between a growl and a laugh. She looked around and found @Grimm swimming away from her, and a smirk formed on her lips. Bring. It. On! He swam back towards them, teasing them about slapping him. "Revenge!" Arabelle cheered. She reached down and splashed him in the face with water as he was talking. Then, she went under the water and grabbed his legs, pulling him down under the water with her. Arabelle smiled innocently as their gazes met and paddled away as fast as her arms and legs could take her. She resurfaced a few meters away from where she had been floating awhile ago and called out. "The name's Arabelle! You better  remember it!"

She spent a few more minutes playing in the water alone, trying out a few strokes she had learned maybe around three years ago and failing all of them. Now a bit tired, she spotted Angie making her way towards the shore and @Hazado following the girl like a lost puppy. Should I tell her? Or should I keep watching? Either way, she followed the girl to the shore as well. Her clothes still dripping wet, she approached Seb who was standing before Angie and holding a bucket full of water, stuck between two very important choices. "I'd get one for Hazado too, if I were you," Arabelle suggested with a laugh. Then she turned around and trotted towards a discarded bucket and filled it with water as well. She walked back to Seb and grinned mischievously. "Wanna do it?"

  24. Sitting on the edge of a small house's rooftop (don't ask how she got there) and swinging her legs, Arabelle's brief moment of peace amidst Floor 2's wooden houses and colorful flowers was interrupted with the ping of a message notification. The purple-haired girl shook herself from her daydreaming and opened the PM curiously. It was from @Pinball, the boy who had helped her on her Performer quest and had agreed to help her with yet another one. She lazily read through the contents of the message and noticed the player name listed next to hers. A guy (probably) named @Reinholt. Wonder how many friends Pinball has? He hadn't informed her that there would be other players tagging along, though she didn't mind the extra company.

Arabelle stood, stepping away from the edge of the rooftop, and scoped out the town. If she remembered correctly, the quest took place in the same floor she was in, and Pinball might already be here... She smirked as an idea formed in her head. The purple-haired girl turned in the direction of the town's teleporter and hopped onto a nearby roof. And another. And another. Until she was running, like one of those anime characters off on an important mission. She stopped and quickly sat down, giving the teleport pad's immediate area a quick once-over. Amongst the players present in the area, she spotted a boy sitting on a bench, staring at the teleporter. A girl (@Etherial) was standing beside him. Probably talking to him. She grinned, recognizing his slightly messed-up hair and lanky figure. There!

Arabelle roof-hopped some more until she was directly behind and above him, crouched down so he wouldn't end up spotting her shadow. "Pin!" She dropped in behind him (ignoring the tingling sensation that had now spread through her legs) and shoved him on the back lightly. She waited for him to turn around and waved cheekily. "Hello, there~. I'm here and," she puffed. "Ready for the quest! Is someone coming along with us?"
