  1. The woman turned down the boy’s offer of a snack and for a moment it was like something broke inside of him. Not many people turned down Dustin’s snacks like that. Dejected and almost a little heartbroken, he walks away towards the shore, but stopping about half way. Dustin’s new favorite guildmate showed up and made her way over to the boy, saying hi and introducing the girl he had fought the bunny with again. “Hello Mishiro, nice to meet you... again.” He smiles politely before suddenly Arabelle compliments the boy. His face turns bright red and his head instinctively turns to face the water. “You look beautiful Belle.” He still can’t bring himself to look at Arabelle.

After some time, he looks back and Arabelle had disappeared, so Dustin politely waves to Mishiro, turning towards the water and walking in that direction. Hazado quickly greets Dustin and Dustin returns with a quick wave.

When Dustin finally makes it out towards the water he stops and sits down, and it’s not long before he hears a fall and sand hits his leg. Turning around he sees that familiar head of hair with sand on her face and red on her cheeks. “Hey Ryo,” He smiles brightly, “Yeah, I have missed you.” He sits next to her in the sand looking out towards the water. It had been a long time since Dustin sat with anyone like this. “So... what’ve you been up to recently?” He asks, pulling out a pair of cookies, handing one to @Ryoko and taking a bite out of the one he kept for himself.

  2. Dustin walks down the beach, footprints in the sand reveal he had been doing this for a while. Why was he here? A party he had heard about was happening right up the shore, and he was planning to make the party as lively as he possibly can. It’s gonna be a par-tay. He smiles and sings as he treks through the mush of the wet muddy sand under his feet. Up between his toes shot some of the beach as he continues forth, his brown hair blowing in the wind and his brown eyes squinting. “Bright and shiny day, could’ve taken a swim, but this party’s gonna be awesome.” His smile only grows more as he pushes himself up the hill towards the area everyone talked about and suddenly, it came into view.

A party was clearly going down, and Dustin was ready to get his laid back on. His inventory opens up as he flips through and removes his clothes and in an instant equips his swimming attire. It had been too long since Dustin took a break, and he was gonna get the full experience. Pulling out a popsicle, he approaches the apparent host of the party, as she was the only person he could see, and extends one of his snacks towards her. An ice cream sandwich, the only one Dustin had, was his offering and he was kinda mad at himself for trying to give it away. “The name’s Dustin. Need any help setting up?”

  3. This guy was right, Dustin finally agreed with someone on how to fight as a group. After all this time he was finally strong enough for people to let him do his thing, and Dustin did the same thing everyone else did. He’s here to fight? Oh damn, I think I might wanna be friends with this guy. He smiles as his hand starts to glow green, something that sticks out in the black, gray and fiery orange they’re trapped in. “Alright then. I’ll just make sure he doesn’t have the chance to hit you.” His feet push ash behind him, creating a little cloud right behind where he once stood. A trail of ash flies up in his wake as he rockets towards the giant tiger. Under each step air rushes the cinders and they glow a pretty orange footsteps behind him as well.

When he jumps, the ashes under his feet shoot out in a circle and Dustin’s fist draws back. A childish laugh had escaped wall of ‘chill’ on his way up, and now that it had, he was done acting like he wasn’t loving this fight. The green trail finishes on the Byakko’s head and Dustin lands on it’s head as its HP rockets down towards the bottom. Before the monster can shift and try to take a bite out of Dustin, he jumps off, landing next to Oscar with a stumble. “Guess you were right.” He smiles like a child.

  4. Dustin was sure the stares he could feel on him had something to do with his temporary orange cursor. He didn’t care. He felt no guilt or regret for what he had done, and would gladly do it again. Only reason it’s temporary was for a momentary lapse in his vendetta, one where he realized Kadin wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to die and especially not at his big brother’s hand. You always cared about everybody... didn’t matter what they did. His hand rests on the glass in front of him, as he stares through the liquid and the ice sitting in said liquid. On the table sat a necklace he often wore under his shirt. A small golden sword with a black blade, just like Kadin’s. The warmth of welling eyes and the chill of a cool tear rolling down his cheek kept him distracted from the thought of how much Kadin would hate him for what he’s about to do.

But it was something that needed to be done. He couldn’t just let more and more people die.

He couldn’t let anyone else feel what he’s feeling right now.

Rage festered in his chest as he kept staring at the necklace. What used to be fond memories only brought him pain. He was ready to throw all of what he had found away, and was willing to if it meant getting rid of this horrible person. The guild, his friends, his teacher. They were all supposed to hate me... why don’t they? Why are they still keeping me from doing this? Why am I stuck feeling like I’d rather have them around than do this? If they’d just leave me alone forever I could have done this a while ago. Just then a familiar face walks up and sits a drink in front of the boy. “It’s on the house.” He explains, his long red hair falling just into view under Dustin’s hood.

”Can’t get anything past the all knowing Roger can I?” Dustin asks sarcastically, smiling up at his old friend. “I always forget how many taverns you own. It’s gotta be ridiculously expensive, you should really see someone about your problem.” He chuckles for a moment before the moment passes and Roger heads back to the bar to tend it. “Maybe I should see someone.” He laughs at his pain for a moment more, then he grabs his necklace and stands up.

As he steps out onto the street, he looks around. Crowds had formed on either end of the alley the entrance to the tavern was tucked into. It was pretty early so most people would be looking for quests, and the NPCs filled the streets to keep up appearances. Quickly and quietly Dustin jumps up to the roof of a building in front of him, slipping in the snow and stumbling a bit, but he sticks the landing. Walking over to the edge over looking the main street, he sits and dangles his feet over the wall. The people here are so naive to think we can settle down in here. They have no idea what’s truly out there. Sorrow and death. Hatred and suffering. Fighting and killing. But it’s not all bad, we can have lives here, but we can’t just fall into the status quo and hope that the people who don’t will save us. Everyone’s contribution matters. He grabs a pebble he had kept from the first quest he ever did and looks at it, before he draws it back and throws it out into the town.

    “Your time’s coming.”

  5. The heat was kind of getting to Dustin or something, maybe it was the ash or the smoke, but Dustin just couldn’t seem to land a hit. Oscar was trying his hardest and Dustin felt really badly about this. “I’m sorry, I’ll try harder next time.” He smiles hiding the dejected feeling behind his bright and cheery exterior. Damn, I can’t believe I keep missing. Something must be wrong with me. Why can’t I just take this thing out? He frowns, pulling out a cookie and looking at it for a moment. Nah. He walks over to Oscar rather calmly, like he wasn’t currently fighting a giant fire tiger, and extends his arm with the cookie in hand.

He can’t hit this tiger, but he can however make sure it doesn’t hit Oscar. “Hey, I wouldn’t hit it anymore if I were you. I’m sure I can take a little bit more of a beating than you.” He smiles and waves at him. “No harm in me getting hit once or twice, right?” He asks politely.

  6. Dustin watches as the small group of enemies pushes on. They look almost pathetic at this point, so many had fallen by player hands, and yet the rushed onward. To the combat obsessed boy in blue it was almost admirable. They have a purpose and refuse to turn back and fail their mission. Dustin smiles for a moment, “Still pathetic.” He counts the ones remaining rather slowly for being such a low number. “I’ll just have to make sure you guys can’t push onward from here.” His sword art charges as he rockets in and catches a spear to the leg, knocking him off his feet and making him tumble. Rolling back to his feet, Dustin hops up and snaps the spear, watching it disappear as his battle healing repairs the damage.

Turning back around, emotionally, physically, and spiritually drained, he sort of drags himself back next to Arabelle. “I’ve got one or two attacks left in me... but I say we go big or go home.” He smiles and tries to catch his breath.

  7. The heat poured onto the boy’s back as the tiger charged the two. Dustin watched almost in slow motion as the player he was helping rushes past him and slashes the beast’s face as he turns. Dustin watches in enjoyment, the player took action so quickly and Dustin forgets what he’s doing for a second. Huh, this guy could be really strong, let’s make sure he makes it to become so strong. He smiles fondly for a moment, before shaking his head. “Oh shoot.” He takes a stutter step and walks into the fight.

As he crosses the ashen field he throws a weak punch at the monster, missing barely before he rockets back to a normal spot. “Hey sorry Oscar, I was out of it. Next time I’ll take care of it right quick.” He smiles, giving Oscar a happy thumbs up. Taking out a cookie and snacking on it, he eats the whole thing before the Byakko recovers from its stun and can even get the chance to attack. Dustin has the strength to be so relaxed now that he had gotten so strong, but not too long ago he would be too scared to do anything but fight. Like a bored child he was having more fun doing something else.

Smoke filled the air around him in a way that would scare most people. It felt like breathing a liquid it was so heavy on his chest, and the only information he got was a loud roar as he continued through. He hadn’t been entirely prepared, considering he forgot this quest had been sitting in his quest log for a long time. He was wondering why the air was black and just kept going, no point in turning around now and getting lost in the endless smoke. Of course this is how it goes. All I wanted to do was farm a little, how’d I get here? He asks himself over and over again. Suddenly, like a warm embrace, heat pours in from one side of his body and Dustin smiles in pure comfort for a moment, but he doesn’t stop. He keeps pushing forward until suddenly he reaches the least dense part of the smoke, noticing the vegetation was all burnt away and crispy. “Kadin’s friend used to eat this stuff.” He chuckles.

After his joke he hears footsteps in the distance, not too difficult to hear between the roars but especially difficult to place, all he knew was he had to go right. Turning to his right and pushing his legs to the limit he rockets through the dead forest in search of the player who had come here as well. The smoke became thicker and the  footsteps got louder, but until the smoke cleared up, Dustin couldn’t just leave this player. I might end up having to fight the tiger before this player gets here. Next the he knows, a player comes into view, and he appears to be here for a reason. Of course, that just meant Dustin wasted his time running around the edge of the smoke. Approaching the player Dustin smiles and extends a hand, “Hey, I’m Dustin, would you like some help?” He asks with an innocent smile, brighter than the flames behind him.

    @Oscar

  9. Dustin pulls his fist up and smiles, looking at his teammates and nodding for a second. We can do this, not much longer I don’t think. And then I can go through the festival with Arabelle, and maybe even get some great food. He clenches his fists tighter and one glows a bright green as he draws it back and runs towards the enemies with a confidence not before seen in this fight. His fist comes flying forward as it slams into the monster, launching it back and into its horde. He jumps up and back to Arabelle, smiling and laughing a little. “Rocked that little pest’s [censored], now it’s your turn...” he stumbles forward and his breathing feels a little heavier. Audible to most of the players near him as he realizes he had used too much energy. His arms felt heavy and his legs heavier. “I might have to take a breather here soon.” His movements seem a little more forced and he looks like he’s holding something heavy.

  10. Dustin’s hand begins to glow once more, his eyes lock on his target as he approaches the smaller horde and swings with all of his strength. Their dancing and taunting catches him off guard as he barely misses the monster once again. “Of course.” He rockets back next to his party member and frowns, pulling his hood up over his head while he waits to attack again. “This sucks. All I wanted to do was sleep all day, maybe take care of Fluffy.” He frowns, looking around at the festival behind him. It’s not so bad. At least I have that festival date to look forward to. He smiles at the thought of spending all day with his new best friend.

But what if she asked him as a joke? It wouldn’t be all that out of character for her. She was well known among their guild for messing with the other members from time to time in way of teasing. Hell, she had teased Dustin several times before, and this was the perfect way to do so.

  11. Dustin wakes up in an empty room, turning and seeing that picture of his little brother smiling so brightly wasn’t there. He had barely even made it to the inn before collapsing in the check in area, and before that, he had spent days searching for that one person. The one who baited Dustin and Kadin into that ambush two years ago, the one Dustin plans to get rid of first. Apparently, he likes to prowl around shops not too far from where Dustin decided to stay. Finding new victims to bait and rob, just like Dustin and Kadin, but this one appears to be alone most of the day, unless he gets a bite.

Dustin reaches in the closet and grabs a brown cloak, one he used to wear all the time, and throws it over his shoulders so it covers his whole body, and then he pulls the hood up to hide his face.

Today’s the day. I’m gonna finish this once and for all. He walks down into the lobby, dropping a small sum of col on the check-in desk. “Room 5 is vacant again.” He explains, not stopping to wait for the stupid questionnaire they always do at placed like this. It would only waste his time and now that Dustin was doing what he wanted to, time was very important. Walking through town, Dustin watches as the people pass by. None of them know the atrocities of this world, but all of them keep moving. The darkness is covered up, and some of them just live their lives hoping their friends come back from their missions, bringing col or food or items back so they can keep ignoring the fact that their contribution matters. They’re scared because they know death is the end for both worlds. There’s no escaping this place unless you play the game. His eyes land on the slender man, keeping an eye out for anyone who doesn’t frequent the area.

Dustin approaches the man, who tries to grab the attention of the passers by to put Dustin on the spot. “Hello mystery player! Would you like to accompany me on a quest I’ve been having trouble with recently?” He shouts, but no one even gives him a second glance. Dustin’s hand firmly wraps around his bicep and lifts it, pulling him towards the front gate of town, not far enough to be obvious he’s taking him for a very specific reason. “Yeah, I’ll join you, just gotta tell me what quest first.” He says, pulling the man out into the field and towards the nearest wooded area.

Once Dustin was sure he was alone with this person he activated his strongest sword art, and under his cloak, his hand started to glow. “I have no idea how strong you are anymore... but I’m pretty sure this’ll do significant damage to you.” He draws his fist out of his cloak and it slams right into the player’s face, throwing him across the small area right into a tree. “Where’s Greil?” Dustin’s words filled with anger and hatred as he watches the man’s HP drop to the red, leaving just enough to be able to make it back to the town without dying. Dustin draws his fist back again and smiles. “You do know I could kill you and just go to any info broker in this area. I don’t need you alive for this.” He explains.

Pretty soon the criminal spills the beans and Dustin steps back. “Go on, get out of here.” Dustin says, gesturing in the general direction of the town. Tears start to roll down his face as he punches the tree. The purple window reflects in his watery eyes as he reads those stupid words. Turning sharply and falling back, he slides down and opens his menu.

He closes his menu and stands up walking towards town once again, pulling down his hood and walking to the teleporter. Of course it had to be floor four. Doesn’t matter, he’s done. I’ve got to make sure he never does what he did to Kadin to anyone else.

  12. Dustin’s hand starts to glow green, and he smiles as a new player joins his party. “Hope you can pull your wait better than the prick who just sat in the back the whole time.” He says, running in towards a minion, but his hand barely misses fish brains and Dustin shoots back next to Arabelle. “I missed... I can’t believe I missed. These things never stop coming and I haven’t been able to kill them fast enough.” He says. Usually a miss like this wouldn’t have hit him this hard, but the monsters just kept coming. And they weren’t dying, which was even worse. “Okay then. Arabelle... please give me a plan, something.... anything.” He frowns. His brown hair blew in the wind and his frown turned back into a deadpan expression. The rain wasn’t helping his situation either. He pulls out a cookie and sits down, looking up at Belle and smiling. “All better now. Just needed a snack to cheer me up.” Like a child getting a brownie after crying for hours, the boy’s energy was like night and day.

  13. Dustin smiles as he follows the two women, and their banter reminds him of the real world. Everyone always surprised Miss Aris-San was a teacher and a model, (you should’ve seen how the other boys in her classes reacted...) A small smile crosses Dustin’s face as he looks at the ground while they start talking about what they do in their free time. “Eat, sleep and take care of my slimes. This game is kind of a dream world for me so I savor every moment of the glorious fights while I can.” He of course leaves out the one other thing he does in his spare time, as that usually bums people out and kills the mood. “Oh, I explore sometimes. That’s always fun. Going out and seeing the world we’re trapped in reminds you that it’s not so bad in here. Say what you want about Kayaba, but he managed to make a masterpiece.”

He walks up to his teacher, close enough to carry on a private conversation and smiles at her. “Ya know, my friends would’ve loved to have seen you in this game. You were their favorite teacher. But I failed at my job, so don’t feel bad.” He gives her a super wide smile, like that of a child and a thumbs up. “They wouldn’t be that mad at you, so long as you carry on their memory.” He turns back to the new girl and smiles politely.

”So miss, you never told us what you like to do for fun.” He reminds her, taking a bite of a cookie and walking backwards confidently.

    @Kirbs

  14. Dustin’s eyes turn up and see the girl he had brought to his favorite spot in the whole game, but something was different this time. Her clothes weren’t the school girl military outfit she always wore. She was... hot. In a not-so-surprising turn of events, she asks him what he thinks, and he opens his mouth but no words escape. She had literally made Dustin speechless. “That’s understandable, you’re a pretty colo- green’s a pretty color.” Speaking on the fly always got Dustin in trouble, sometimes he was thinking about other things while talking about one thing.

This time that was apparent. His mind was on Arabelle, but not the conversation.

He watched as she walked up to the water, slowly stepping in and saying it feels nice. As Dustin pushes himself to his feet she continues to her legs. He smiles as he walks closer, getting ready to push her in the water, but her leg comes up and splashes him with water. Instinctively turning and covering his face, a childish giggle come from his chest. It had been a while since he was able to unwind like this. He charges his strongest sword art, running into the water a good 20 feet from her. Turning up and slamming against the waters surface, a wave is sent in Arabelle’s direction as Dustin’s eyes fill with awe and he charges behind the wave to make sure everything’s okay if it hits her.

  15. Dustin’s hand started glowing dark green. I was trying to honor a friend, but it didn’t work I guess. Maybe I’ll just make a sword with her name on it... He frowns, an expression he almost never makes when entering a fight. Maybe I can just let everyone forget she existed. He runs in and jumps up, punching the snake right in its stupid face. It’s head flies back and slams into its other head, as the monster’s HP bar drops to the red and keeps falling. “Next time, Belle goes first.” His voice was monotone and it was clear his mind wasn’t on the fight. He hadn’t even pulled out a snack since he got back.

His hands turn to fists and his fists bury themselves in his pockets. The objective was complete and Arabelle and Kirbs had already insulted him today. Maybe that help was enough for a bit. He turns and starts to walk back towards the settlement without a word to the girls around him. Today just isn’t his day, and he’d rather just head home and take a nap. Maybe get some takeout or something. He just needed a way to get this stupid day to wind down. A book would be nice, but he’d have to buy it and all that, it’s a whole process. I could ask Arabelle to hang out with me, but I don’t think she’d want to. His face just falls towards the ground.

  16. Dustin’s hand begins to glow as he nods to Arabelle. “I tried to tell ‘em.” He laughs as he runs in, his fist slamming into a minion and launching it back into the crowd of fish monsters. His legs push him back towards his only truly remaining teammate. “So whaddya say after this we jump that prick enjoyin’ the festival?” He asks her. It was a joke, but like all things with this wonder of a woman, it was a mystery what her answer would be.

Honestly speaking, Kadin would love this. Me by myself with a pretty lady and saving innocent NPCs from death. Oh boy I’d catch hell. He laughs, looking at Arabelle for a moment and nods to her. “Ya know, Kadin would’ve liked you.” He runs away from her, trying to keep the pointless little canon fodder from her. If there’s one thing Dustin’s good at it’s sweeping up a mess.

  17. Dustin smiles as he stands up, putting his cake into his inventory and grabbing Arabelle by the wrist. “Then let’s go.” He smiles brightly as he gently pulls her and starts running towards the secret area. Opening his map, Dustin looks closely at the wooded area and tries to remember exactly where his favorite spot was. It’s been a while, but I think I still remember where it was. He chuckles as he reaches the wooded area and recognizes the path from there on out. His legs carried him over the distance with ease, but he forgot he had to keep Arabelle steady so she could hold her cupcake. “[censored], sorry.” He slows down to a walk, blushing and letting go of her wrist.

While they were in the woods, Dustin had no idea what to say. Partly because he was overthinking the whole grabbing her wrist thing, and partly because he was trying to figure out if he was on the right path. His hand rests on a tree as he stops and holds his hand up signaling for her to stop. “Now, if I’m gonna take you in here, we have to be dressed for the occasion.” The breeze picks up as Dustin peers around the tree to see if anyone is in the clearing, and he grabs Arabelle’s wrist again, pulling and letting go really quickly, spinning her into a beautiful area. Colorful flowers riddled the ground, a small pond placed just slightly off center and a large rock placed on the edge of the pond.

Dustin’s hands come down and remove his sweatshirt and under shirt as he throws them on a branch and runs through. Mid jump his clothes change into swimming trunks and he falls right into the water making a large splash. Moments later he comes back out of the water and onto the land like he had fallen onto a bed of nails. “AH AH! IT’S COLD! IT’S COLD!” Shouting as he crawls over to where Arabelle was and just lays in the grass.

  18. Dustin opens his menu and sends Arabelle and Kirbs a party invite. “I gotta go do something really quickly. I’ll catch up, y’all have fun.” He laughs and runs through the town, finding in the back corner an alchemy shop. The selection wasn’t very limited, but it was however a small shop. The open air allowed for easy access to all of the shops. He walks to the back of the shop and looks at the cute owner of the shop. “Hey, I made the mistake of trying to look good for my friend... she didn’t like it. Do you have any light brown hair dye to remove this stupid color?” He asks, she turns around and moves into the back of the shop. “On the house, but next time you need something stop by.” She smiles and waves as he backs out of the shop.

He follows the information on the map as he regroups with the party. Upon reaching them he would drink the potion and pull his hood up. They didn’t like it before, and it kind of hurt, but he would rather not have a hair color no one likes. “Hey, what’d I miss?” He asks genuinely, his hood covering his hair, and his face innocent as a child.

  19. I forgot they made superhero movies about them. He smiles as she then explains how she would use the opportunity to see him without a shirt, turning a bit red in the cheeks himself and pulling his hood up over his face to hide it. “So what? Not like you’d be the first.” He says, thinking for a moment and explaining further. “Girl to see me shirtless I mean. After all, there was that one beach party.” Chuckling, the boy takes another bite of his cake, the white frosting getting on his upper lip, as he wipes it away.

”I feel bad eating in front of you, here, take this.” He tosses a cupcake.

”You’ll have to wait and see what it is. If I told you it’d ruin the surprise.” He grins mischievously, knowing full well the surprise was all this place had going for it other than pure natural beauty. “I will tell you this, if you like pretty things you’ll love this place.” He smiles innocently.

  20. Dustin’s fists tightened up and he scowled at the two girls. “If y’all don’t like it I’ll go back.” His face was almost angry, and he was fighting the urge to kill them both for insulting him in such a way. Why would they say that? Why would anyone say that? I should just kill them for it, then it won’t matter what they said. He smiles, waving off their jokes. “At least I’m not a red head or short.” He turns and begins to walk away, when she mentions something about a fight. “Wurms you say?” He asks, intrigued by the implication of combat. “I’d be down to kill a few wurms.” He smiles, pulling out a cookie and handing it to Kirbs.

Looking to Arabelle a deadpan expression falls on the boy’s face and he looks her in the eyes. “You don’t get one for that earlier comment.” He turns back to Kirbs with a bright smile and bows out of the way. “Take us to where we need to go.” He backs up next to Arabelle.

Next to the guildmate with Purple hair he leans over and whispers, “I lied, I’d never leave you out of it.” He smiles, offering a cupcake in secret to Arabelle.

  21. Dustin laughs a little as she explains her pet crow. “Ah, just like Odin’s spies. They always run away rather than stay and fight. They’re ravens but still.” He chuckles, looking at the ground and then back towards her. “Huginn and Muninn are the two best spy birds out there.” He smiles like a child thinking of all the stories his father had told him over the few years he knew him. They were great stories, Thor would fight Jörmungandr because of the fight they had before. How Loki the god of mischief was the father of so many magnificent things this world has. “My pops used to tell me stories of the mighty Thor. Prince of Asgaard.” He explains and then she makes her comment about him needing to cool off.

”What’s that supposed to mean?” He asks. The nerve on her. He smiles, leaning down towards her face with his as he tells her a secret. “Maybe it’s just an excuse to see you in a bikini.” He chuckles and backs up, finding a spot to sit on the ground and enjoy another piece of cake.

  22. Dustin steps into his guildmate’s shop and looks around. The hand wraps were on the counter and Dustin walks back to grab them. “Thanks Hei.” He smiles and turns to walk out but stops and leans over the counter backwards. “Ever so helpful, it’s a shame I can’t do the same in my shop.” He sets a cookie on the counter and then shoots finger guns, walking towards the exit as he begins to wrap his hands. The Mjolnir on the back of the wraps looks perfect, so he nods and walks right into the nearest crowd, he was headed home.

  23. His teammate had taken some damage and a small little fishy jammed its spear into Dustin’s heart, and Dustin stumbled back and grabbed the spear, yanking it from his chest and pushing it away. “Odin’s beard these things never end.” He charges his hand and pats Arabelle’s head. “Don’t worry pal.” His hand, glowing green draws back and he charges in. The pitter patter of the rain slows down as he steps in close to the monsters. This would be so much better if the whole guild could be here. The green glow burns bright then fizzles out as the flop of his hand hitting a fish in the face.

His leg pushes into the ground and launches him back to Arabelle.

”I’ll protect you my fair princess. Your knight in shining armor is here to protect you.” He smiles at the comically over the top performance, he even bends on a knee and bows his head. “I swear my allegiance oh mighty queen.” He stands up and flicks her in the forehead, laughing a little bit and turning. “Get up shorty, pull your weight.” He runs back in towards the fight.
