  1. She gave a small sound of thought as she followed along with him further into the room. "My talent, huh?" she mused as she wondered about that, following the man toward the room, listening to his lecture, of a sort. Music was not something that she had ever been invested in, when it came down to it. The young woman had a number of other interests in her life that had led her to this point, and unfortunately, the idea of song and dance hadn't ever actually reached her as she had done all sorts of other, more physical activities. "Oh, but that's like, so cool though!" she spoke as he adm
  2. "Oh wait-" the girl began almost immediately, as soon as he noted that he hadn't stated that he could sing. She tried to remember the conversation, but admittedly it had been a whirlwind of people, faces and topics and much of it was lost to the aether of her memory. "Man then, like, maybe I just assumed?" she murmured aloud, not technically at Jomei but nonetheless he would be able to hear her thoughts aloud. She didn't miss the slight flush to his cheeks, but she didn't really...feel comfortable commenting on it either. Still, she did file that piece of information away- that he wa
  3. The girl gave a small sound of despair in response to the man's words, and she exhaled softly at his appearance. "Sorry, I didn't mean, to like, just all burst in on your store," the girl responded with a small shake of her head. "I sorta just like... came outta nowhere all, like, yelling and stuff," she spoke, breathing in a big breath before pushing it out again... before repeating the process, trying to calm herself down with the deep breaths. Granted it left her feeling a little light-headed, but she steeled her resolve and looked back up to the irishman. "So like, okay. I like, e
  4. "I'm just like, super envious of you crafters that can like, make stuff like this," the young woman spoke, shaking her head. "Doing the Performer thing is like, so hard," she admitted, giving a small smile despite herself. "It's so cool though. You should like, totally be proud of your work, y'know?" she continued, the full sunny smile coming back out in full. At the mention of fishing and catching up on the sleep, Astreya couldn't help but to grin slightly, laughing to herself a bit at that. "That like, reminds me of my uncle. We'd like, go out on the boat sometimes to fish, and he'
  5. Despite the laughter, Nari was quick to offer a hand to help her back up, and the young woman couldn't help but to give a sunny smile in return to the violet-haired woman. "Thaaaanks!" she called cheerily, moving to set her chair back upright as well before she exhaled slightly, before shaking her head. "Naw! I've done worse than that before. It's like, totally fine. I'm good," she spoke as she adjusted the bottom hem of her skirt which had risen up a bit in the fall-to-getting-up and glanced back at Nari then as the girl posed a question to her. That being- why Koga was opening and
  6. There was a sort of cloud that hung over the young woman's head. Not a literal one, of course, as that would be silly. But instead the normally bright and chipper young woman seemed to be relatively...down. Of course, here on the 11th Floor was a place she didn't often tread, but right now she was looking for all the help that she could get. Despite the fact that she wasn't exactly the biggest gamer and game-player, the young woman was rather social and knew a lot of people. Chatting away with a few people here and there had led to discussion regarding a name that she had recalled f
  7. "Like, it's gotta be around here somewhere, right?" she asked, glancing back over her shoulder at Bismuth. The young woman had offered to follow up on a rumor that she'd heard and that Bismuth had confirmed about this supposedly special dungeon that had all sorts of treasures and riches to be found deep within. It seemed like it was something that was going to be just a wild goose chase, and while the information Astreya had on it was pretty light aside from supposedly finding an NPC that would help to guide them there, it seemed that they were turning up with a lot of nothing, so far.
  8. Astralin won the round, and Astreya couldn't help but to give a low groan- up until the blonde handed her a pair of cookies for the fact that she seemed to be upset about losing. Not that Astreya was actually upset, but she was a sweets-hound, and that was rather obvious by the small horde of them that she had gathered around her, even if the girl wasn't using them to bet, she was still snacking on them as she went, and couldn't help but to grin slightly at the cookies offered. "Thanks, Astra!" she cheered, before she handed one over toward Nari. "Here you go!" she called, offering her frie
  9. Post Action: Concentration + ST-I vs Bat RollID:203766 BD: 2+3+1=6 Hit! 15*12 = 180 Damage! Defeated! The woman had unleashed her challenge to the Bat, and in doing so, it had careened right into her. Thankfully, she didn't have any real damage to speak of, given her armor. She didn't bother to even try to block the attack. There wasn't much point as she held the two-handed blade in both hands, readying herself to just absolutely decimate this creature before her. However, there was a sudden lack of light as Monarch switched to his weapon, willing to assist her once more. She c
  10. "It's great! The balance is like, totally perfect too! I noticed if I don't have, like, my armor equipped that it's a little harder to wield, so like, the fact that you actually used the armor to help, like, compensate for the distribution of weight of the weapon is like, so cool," the girl gushed. If there was one thing that Astreya was not, it was crafty. She didn't do well in arts and crafts in school, and she just didn't have the head for designing things. She liked fashion to an extent but that was mostly just cobbling together parts from other people and making something look nice-
  11. The young woman had been beaming a smile at the rest, excited just o be around so many people and having such fun as she was, when there came the sudden call from Baldur about all the victories. The girl counted a mental tally in her head as she did so, realizing that there were nine victors. That certainly wasn't going to make for an even tournament bracket... which made things interesting to see how they'd proceed. Maybe they could have a Rock, a Paper, and a Scissors bracket! That would make sense thematically, although the young woman wasn't quite sure on how to make it all shake out.
  12. The weapon felt good, in her hands. The ones she'd found before that she had been using just didn't have the same feeling. She had gone to Vigilon before to get the blade done, and the man had done a fantastic job of making one for her, but Astreya believed in a power of alliances and friends, that the more people that had a hand in the creation of her armaments, the more people she had with her when she went into battle. So having met Koga at a recent Christmas party (his, in fact!) and found out that he was a blacksmith, she'd wanted his touch added to it. And having extended upon Vi
  13. Astreya was currently seated in the back room of her little shop, trying to work things through here when it came to the instrumentation in front of her. She was not a musician, and she couldn't read music at all, and yet for reasons beyond her understanding, she'd chosen to go along with trying to be a Performer. The idea had seemed fun at the time, but now the fact that there was actual work involved started to get under her skin a little bit. She leaned back away from the work desk, before sulkily throwing away the damaged material which had intended to become a Sound Crystal for a
  14. Astreya missed the slight blush from the boy as he had turned to look at something else, the young man beginning to move quite a bit more quickly than the girl had seen him since she'd met him. Her eyes followed him, blinking at first as she wasn't entirely sure where he was going. "Yasu?" she asked, before she followed the light source, noting that he had slid to a stop, and it was then that Astreya's eyes widened as she realized what he was doing. "Koko?" she added, beginning to move quicker toward the pair of them, her hand instinctively moving to her weapon as she did so. She heard

  16. As the blue-haired man responded, Calrex, the woman beamed a wide grin at him, excited to see and meet someone else new entirely. It wasn't often that she got to meet more people like this- but Yona seemed to take his attention almost immediately, seeking out a new foe to battle with. The young woman's smile turned onto Yona, waving her hand at the young woman as she turned to head back toward the arena. "Good luck!" she cheered after the brunette, before she turned her gaze to Calrex, who excused himself under the excitement of another battle. "And good luck to you too!" she called, givin
  17. "We honest few are so few and far between." The words felt like a cold knife slipped between the young woman's ribs. The words were directed at Nari, and that much was clear, but Astreya was already well aware of just how perceptive this man could be. Of course, a difference lay in the fact that he did so without any guise or layers. Certainly, speaking with a cryptic bend at times, but he never really seemed to shy away from the truth that he knew. In fact, if anything, he was burdened with that truth, bearing down on the man's shoulders with the weight of the entire world. Or
  18. At the words from Raidou, the young woman couldn't help but to grin slightly, beaming a smile onto him. "For sure!" she cheered, the girl wanting to let the man know that she was genuinely thankful for his help in putting some sort of perspective into the way that she was approaching this game. There was a certain sense of...danger that she was going to put herself into, being on the Front Lines, and beyond that, landing herself in a tanking-style role as she had so planned. Realistically, she would want to just garb herself in as much armor as she could possibly handle, and merely attack- n
  19. Post Action: Look for Koko ID#: 203665 LD: 16 (FOUND YA!) ----------- The girl couldn't help another small smile at his words. "No, no, I know. Like, it's fine- it gives me a sense of purpose, y'know? Normally I was just kind of...just down in the first floor in the Town of Beginnings just like... hiding. There wasn't, like, much of anything to do because I didn't know what to do," she murmured, giving a small sound of thought as they went on, the glowstone that Monarch held lighting the path for them. "So it's good that I have something that I need to do- it lets me
  20. (OOC- If it's standard Blackjack and not two-card high, then having the option to get more cards would be available and then stopping where she did would've just been silly and out of character :V) Blackjack: ID: 203663 Roll: 14 --- Astreya gave a big sigh as she had lost the hand. She might've had a chance if she'd played a little bit better, but she didn't really want to come off with all that 'beginner's luck' right away. Poker was much more her game where she could see and pick apart her opponents' expressions and changes and little ticks. That was where she really s
  21. Astreya was grinning like a cat, unable to help herself. She really enjoyed being surrounded by this many people and just being able to talk and to chat and just... have fun. Relax. Pretend like they weren't fighting for their lives or trapped in a game by some megalomaniac that wanted them all to crash against the wall that was oncoming foes until they had no choice but to overcome the walls that were before them. It was nice to throw all of that away and just be normal again for a little while. She had never met Baldur, but she made a note to talk to him at some point, to thank him for
  22. "Yeah, totally!" the girl cheered in response to Raidou's words. It was a far cry from the serious, borderline deep conversation that the young woman had with Raidou previously, and honestly, it was a very different set from likely the last time they'd run into one another from an inconsequential meeting. Astreya had taken some strides forward of her own, moving forward into a different sort of countenance, one that belied the woman that was beneath. She was curious if the man who knew her would know, or care, but all the same, it was a strange situation for her to be in. Someone who'd
  23. Post Action: Looking for Koko Roll ID: 203612 LD: 13 (This friggin' kid) ------------- Astreya was no fool, and very much in that same way, she got the same vibe from Yasu as well. He was quiet, certainly, but that didn't mean that he wasn't smart. In fact, the way he spoke and the information that he'd given thus far seemed to indicate to Astreya that it was very much the opposite. He had a way about him that was both mysterious as well as slightly unfriendly, if Astreya were to be honest. But she also imagined that much of that was simply due to a learned behavior- he didn'
