  1. A chance to return the favor for the Astreya approval. Welcome in!
  2. Astreya Approved. (Technically already approved in-Quest but that's ok)
  3. "Right!?" Astreya responded to Astralin, the two more upbeat girls seemingly being able to keep up with talking a mile an hour with one another. "Yona like, totally flipped out about it. I thought she was going to blow a gasket. But like, the desserts I brought were honestly kinda bad in comparison, so like, that was kind of a net win. Shame about the other ones though," the girl spoke, giving a small sound of disappointment. "But like, yeah, they almost got into it for a second, and then like, you showed up with more desserts to save the day!" she cheered. At Astralin's words, Astre
  4. Post Action: Try to find Koko PostID: 203522 LD: 14 (aaaaaaa) ------- Astreya couldn't help but to feel almost...sad wasn't quite the right word, nor was pity, for the boy as he began to explain his situation and the purpose of the journal. It was something more akin to a cold knife through her heart and into her throat from the upbringing that he'd had to deal with. Of course, he didn't seem all that put off by it, and if anything, while he was still quiet, he seemed to be opening up a little bit, at least to her. She was overly friendly, but she knew there had bee
  5. As the woman reached under the "table" for the items, the young woman couldn't help but to nod along. She was keeping up with what the other was saying, but just barely. It was like her mind had to take the time to pick apart what was being said and she was working with a several second delay on her words. All the same, as it was handed over to her, she got the distinct impression that the woman might have either pressured @Freyd into it to begin with? It was hard to say, given the fact that they were on the house. "Awwwww, thank you! I really appreciate this," the girl cheered, givi
  6. "Okay, like... I heard it was out this way somewhere..." the girl spoke to herself as she moved, skipping slightly as she began to make her way through the streets. The hustle and bustle began to fall away as she reached more of the quieter parts of the city, before she saw the shop that she was looking for. The Ring and Sword. Not at all hesitating or shy, the girl threw open the door, hopping inside. "Koooogaaaaaa!" she called out into the store as she approached the counter. "I need some new geeeaaaaar! she continued, coming up toward the front, quickly filling out the order form f
  7. Astreya wasn't too often on the 13th floor, but she wasn't one to miss a message from one of her earliest friends. Having caught it, she had finished what she had been doing and retreated from the dungeon she'd been in to come and see what Freyd had to offer her. She'd had some stuff identified awhile ago and so she did remember the Quip, the young woman who sounded like one of those Tolkien dwarves with the Rudeness meter dialed way up. But Astreya didn't mind, giving the woman a wave as she approached. "Hey hey! Freyd sent me a message, saying he had some old stuff that I could us
  8. Astreya beamed a happy smile at Nari at the girl's almost immediate agreement to make their friendship official by adding the girl to one another's Friend's List. It was a nice thing, and Astreya couldn't be happier to see her friend's list starting to grow as quickly as it was. Soon she'd have a whole ton of people on here! "Yeah! Oooh, when I get a shield too, then we can both shield stuff! Shield-friends!" she cheered as she glanced back at the friends list, smiling as she saw Nari on there as well, now. However, she blinked slightly as she realized that there was another name sho
  9. Astreya blinked as she was asked if she liked using the two-handed weapons more. "Uhm, I like, just kinda fell into it, honestly," the woman responded with an embarrassed smile. "Like, when I first started... well, okay, like when I first actually started," she clarified, as it wasn't exactly when the game started that Astreya had done anything for a very long time. "But anyway, when I actually got started, I was asking around at like... what some of the higher level players did to start. Before, like, the most recent update, two-handed weapons did a lot more damage, and there wasn't much

  11. Post Action: Searching for Koko RollID: 203505 LD: 12 (No Dice) --- At his words, indicating that he was sure she could handle them even if there were more, Astreya couldn't help but to give a flustered laugh at that. "Aw, thanks! I've tried, like, really hard to get to where I am. I don't really like going out and, like, adventuring alone and totally having no one to watch my back. but like, I kinda had to, y'know?" she spoke, mostly just talking at the moment... but it was a brief glimpse into the woman's thoughts and inner workings. It wasn't much, but it was somet
  12. "Yeah! There's another one. He's, like, about the same, really. They're kind of a matched set," the girl explained with a small grin, even as the quest giver that was with them wanted to take the item from Nari, Astreya didn't really give the NPC the ability to do so. He had his own thing that he needed to do... but Astreya really didn't see the need to get that. The trinkets were way more helpful and valuable anyway, so far as she was concerned. "But like, if you wanna watch, I can show you how to use the two-handed sword, if you wanna like, teach me how to use the sword and shiel
  13. Astreya could tell that if anything else, Nari was lost in thought at the way the fight had gone. Astreya didn't mind- she'd been perfectly in awe of the wicked potential that Freyd had unleashed more than once upon enemies, and even then what Krysta had done against a dragon, as well. These people who were so much higher leveled than she was... there was a lot of power there that she didn't have. And while she couldn't hope to contend with them, she'd still do as she said- defend the meek. "Wait, I don't, like, need what?" the woman asked, tilting her head a little to the side in resp
  14. Post Action: Concentration + ST-I vs Bat (10 EN used) Roll: 203489 BD: 8 + 3 + 1 Hit! 15*12 = 180 Damage. Defeated! Astreya saw the light snuff out and realized that Yasu was about to strike as well. She had the thing's attention, so that was fine- she didn't really worry about him based on what she knew about the mechanics of the game. Still, things couldn't go well in her mind- and she was somewhat terrified that she'd done something wrong, or used the skill wrong, which would lead to her new friend getting eaten alive by this bat. But all the same, she had to trust in what she
  15. Post Action: Concentration + ST-I vs Eastern Hoya Roll: #203847 BD: 2 + 3 + 1 = 6 (Hit thank everything) | 15 * 12 = 180 Damage | Defeated! Received: Hoya of the East (Eva/Eva/Quality) - Given to Nari -- As the young woman she had paired with had indicated that she was much more of a defender and tank than anything else, Astreya couldn't help but to grin slightly in response. "Hey, me too! Well, like, at least in here. A few people at the start, like, told me to try and focus one way and I listened but I've always kind of been digging that sword-and-shield style," she spo
  16. At the sudden (aggressive!) agreement from Nari, Astreya couldn't help but to grin, her expression taking on a look of genuine happiness. "All right! This'll be like, so much fun!" she agreed aloud, the young woman looking just to have some sort of friendship in the game with someone that she saw more than just once in awhile. Melodie was like a groundhog and only came out once in awhile, and some of the other newbies she'd befriended had all-but gone back into hiding after a quest or two, feeling that it likely wasn't something they could keep up with. For Astreya, of course, she coul
  17. Post Action: Focused Howl @ Bat1 Bat's attack: MD: 9 (Crit! 35+1 = 36-104 = 1 Damage) Iris didn't hesitate for a second in accepting the party invite, not at all minding that her character's details would now be something that the boy could view. Whether he was someone who traded in information or not, it genuinely didn't seem to cross her mind that there could be something nefarious afoot. Perhaps it was the fact that she didn't expect that from Yasu, or maybe she just didn't expect it from anyone. All the same, the young woman turned and gave him a small nod. "It's like, total
  18. Astreya didn't at all comment about the woman smacking herself on the cheek or even going completely stiff at the hug- that was pretty close to what Astreya had expected to happen. She couldn't help but to feel tickled that the girl had reacted in such a way... it was nice, really. Astreya herself really was a touchy, huggy person. Physical contact was second-nature to her, and that allowed her to get this close to the violet-haired woman without seeming to feel any repercussions about doing so. She just liked to have that contact... and honestly she'd kind of missed it here in the game.
  19. As soon as the other woman spoke, Astreya felt like a light had turned on in her brain. Ah-ha. So that's what she was so nervous about. Nari didn't even have to speak the rest of what was on her mind for Astreya to begin to deconstruct it down to its bare components. The girl had already admitted to not being exceedingly sociable, and to have a great deal of difficulty when it came to such a thing. That she used the online games as a way to be someone other than herself- it stood to reason that in the "real world" that they all came from that she might not have very many friends at all.
  20. "No, c'mon! It'll be fun I promise!" Astreya spoke as she walked alongside Nari, the two of them heading deeper into the Forest of Wavering Mist. It seemed like Nari was a touch unsettled about it all, but Astreya didn't really seem to mind in the slightest. She'd already handled this particular quest a handful of times already and so leading her new friend through it was not at all a problem for her. "So like, look," she spoke, turning to walk backwards as she kept her eyes on Nari, the younger woman seeming to know enough where to go without need of any sort of eyes. "This guy here want
  21. Honestly, when Astreya had asked her question, she had expected either a nod or a shake of the head, or maybe an answer that was a word or two. That was how most of their conversations had been up until this point... so when he started to speak, not only in full sentences but several strung together, Astreya could feel a certain sense of both elation and confusion at it. She was happy that she'd gotten him to talk- but this was the first time that she'd heard him talk this much. Of course, she'd only just met him, but she got the feeling that was unusual. But she kept the surprise off

  23. The girl couldn't help but to give a small smile toward him as he spoke her name aloud, as if testing out it sounded, or perhaps making sure it was something that would work for him. She couldn't help but to be amused as she watched him for a minute. "Some people are like, weird about using names so if it's weird for you, like, you can just use my player name if that's easier for you," she spoke, not wanting the boy to feel any real pressure in using her real name. There was some weirdness that a lot of people felt around it, so she wasn't going to make him start if it caused any discomfort
  24. After confirmation on how the scales work- Astreya approves!
