  1. The walk out of the bandit's hideout had given Astreya a fair amount of time to just... rest and recover her mind. To just relax and let things start to fall to the wayside. Things were still too fresh in her mind to have a normal response to it all, and instead just covered up any of the attempts at conversation with smiles and hand-waives, not able to really engage in any conversation deeper than a drop. Thankfully, Kagamine was an NPC, and didn't press at all. Soon, they had arrived back and Issela, his mother, seemed absolutely ecstatic that he had returned unharmed. "Thank you!
  2. The young woman's chest heaved up and down in both fear and exertion as she struggled to get in a breath. It all being digital didn't seem to matter. She just...she couldn't deal, right now. She needed some time to herself. But there wasn't that time as Kagamine poked his head through the doorway as soon as the silence reached his ears. "Are you...did you do it?" Astreya stared at the place where the body had been, and she couldn't help but to swallow softly. What if that had been another player? Could she have done that? Just as easily as Freyd had? Breathing in through her nose
  3. Astreya grinned at the other. "Well, like, sorta? Like you're not using, attacks or weapons, but you gotta like..." she began, gesturing slightly as if to explain with her hands as well. That was pretty common for the young woman- she talked with her hands as much as she did with her voice, which was saying something. "So like, okay," she began, "when you're fighting, you've gotta watch your opponent, see how they're moving, see how to respond and all that, right? So like, with talking to people, you gotta watch them. See how they move, and their body language, but then you also gotta li
  4. The dark-haired woman blinked as the other woman began to... ramble a bit. That was about the best way that Astreya could describe it. Thankfully, as the woman began to give her rambling explanation so far as what had happened, she gave a very small, calming smile toward the other young woman. She could tell that the girl was like a lot of the other people who played this game. Not that Astreya had met a lot of people, of course, but all the same, of those that she had... it definitely felt like the majority of them had a lot of issues in the social aspect. It made sense- it was an on
  5. Post Action: Foraging! ID: 203227 LD: 17 (Success!) CD: 11 (CRITICALLLL!) | 2 Materials | 8 EXP -------- "So like, the whole Familiar thing is like, totally a pain. Like it's cool when you're done with the quest, but let me tell you what... make sure that you're, like, definitely prepared to go," she spoke, frowning as she pointed at the other. "I had to track down this, like, gypsy lady? And she was totally weird. Still not sure that this was a good idea," the girl spoke, glancing out after where Frosty went... but before she could go further, the man brought up her pr
  6. Astreya had given Hirru a wide smile, about to comment further when the violet-haired girl pushed past them both, heading for the outside. She frowned slightly as she looked after the girl, unsure about the way she was acting. If she was that upset, maybe she shouldn't be here in the first place? She wasn't...entirely sure if the girl was okay to be here. Maybe she'd just need some time to acclimate- kind of like getting to a pool? All the same, as she moved past, Hirru gave her the out to go on after the other young woman. "Yeah, totally! If not here then later on maybe? See ya!"
  7. "FREEEYYYYYYD!" Astreya called out as she hefted her bokken in one hand, pointing at the other individual. "You're like, the strongest guy I know in this game, so I'm gonna come at you with like...everything I've got!" she spoke. The girl hoisted up her pants, making sure that they weren't going to interfere with her movement as she shifted her stance slightly. She normally used the two-handed straight sword, and due to that, she'd taken the nodachi-sized bokken, which was so much lighter than she expected, compared to the weapon that she normally wielded. She hoped that it would wor
  8. "What? Bragging rights?" the girl asked, looking back at the other, a confused (and actually somewhat horrified) expression on her face. "I just wanna, like, help everyone get out of here," the girl spoke with a small frown. She didn't really have any reasons for wanting to get through to the hundredth floor... aside from getting out of here. Well even then, it wasn't for her, it was for everyone else, right? "Everyone's trying their best to get outta here, right? Like... that's why I wanna help. The more people we have on the Front Lines, the sooner, like, we can get outta here, y'know
  9. Astreya was mostly watching the other people arriving, lingering about, talking to one another... and she became aware slightly that there were still so many people that she didn't know. Not that it was necessarily a bad thing- she could always go and talk to them and it would be someone new that she hadn't yet talked to. That was exciting in a way that she didn't often get to experience- it wasn't like she very often had the chance to talk with people. Most of the folks that she already knew were either her level or below, and so it was hard to keep the conversations going when most of the
  10. As Astreya approached the violet-haired girl, the muttering that she was doing made the other give a small, hesitant laugh, no longer quite sure...exactly if this girl was fit to enter this sort of place. Maybe she had expected only a handful of people or something? But there were a lot of people here, and that made things a little more difficult for someone who wasn't used to that. She gave the girl a small, almost concerned smile at the woman's words about her... oven? Or her house? Astreya couldn't be quite sure what it was as she tried to bring the poor woman inside, before maybe real
  11. "Right!" Astreya agreed, although if she missed the sarcasm or was just playing along as if she had, it was hard to tell as she gave the girl a small nod, agreeing along with it. She couldn't help but to be excited about the fact that Melodie seemed to be learning how to handle herself a little bit better with each go-round. It was a hard system to get used to, but that muscle memory eventually became just that- so ingrained that it was very difficult to fail in what you were doing. With that said... "Okay! Just keep in mind that, like, if you are in combat, sometimes when you get the
  12. Post Action: Foraging! ID: 203202 LD: 17 (Success!) CD: 11 (CRITICALLLL!) | 2 Materials | 8 EXP -------- "Awww, thanks!" Astreya cheered in response to the man's praise of her bird. "I think she's, like, really pretty too! She was such a big pain in the butt to get though!" she called out after the bird as she left. The bird turned, giving a caw at her before the flight continued off into the distance. "But, like, yeah! Back on the Ninth Floor, she was really difficult to get close to. All the other Pyro Vultures, like, totally kept her safe! But I went after her! And I
  13. The sounds of singing, or more appropriately, humming, came from the throat of the young woman as she walked down the very interesting and admittedly beautiful sight that was the 24th Floor. The entirety of it seemed to be handled almost entirely around the oceans and that gave it an overall rather romantic light that she very much appreciated. While the young woman wasn't one to often sit and enjoy such things like the ocean breeze (she would much rather be actively playing volleyball on the beach or at the very least swimming) there a sense of calm that exuded from the way things were here
  14. "Valentine's Day...Tournament? Like, that's wild. I'll totally sign up for that!"
  15. Astreya could tell that Koga had about reached his limit with the overly bubbly girl that she was, and she mentally chided herself for pushing him too far. Surely the man wouldn't give her the time of day again, not after she'd basically verbally assaulted him with conversation at the party he was trying to run. She put on a sunny smile then, forced and fake though it was as she gave him a small nod to him. "I'll just like, let you get back to hosting your party and stop totally hogging all of your time," the girl spoke, giving him another nod. "It was nice to meet you!" she called, waving

Post Action: Foraging ID: 203182 LD: 3 (Failure | 3 XP) CD: 10 Free Action: Hunting Familiar [CD: 0/5] ID: 203183 (936 Col) LD: 13 (2 Materials) CD: 3 (2 Materials) T3 Rare Trinket ---- The girl grinned at his words, giving him a sly little wink. "Well hopefully with the maps it, like, won't take you as long, right?" she asked, mostly just teasing him. The girl didn't really think that he would take any offense to that, especially given the fact that she did genuinely think the work he'd put into the maps was awesome, but at the same time, she really didn't
  17. Post Action: Foraging ID: 203180 CD: 2 No Bonus LD: 14 +1 Material! | +5 EXP ---- The girl nodded along with his words, quite interested in what he had to say regarding this whole thing. Honestly, Astreya was generally pretty bad about finding...just about anything. It had taken her forever to find the materials needed for the first quests and the one for her Performer career, and then to find Frosty had been even worse. She'd tracked that bird all over the entire ninth floor before she finally had managed to convince it to join her. And even then, Frosty was way better at
  18. Post Action: Concentration + ST-I vs Bandit Leader - 12 EN Astreya's hands tightened on the hilt of her weapon as she began to move slightly, steadily putting herself closer toward the entrance that she had come in from, trying to make sure that she was between where the boss of this area was, and Kagamine was located. She needed to make sure that she was in the way. She couldn't let the boy get hurt, let alone killed. The movements of the Bandit Leader told her that the woman was actually starting to lose out on her ability to fight. Astreya could tell the Bandit's health bar was g
  19. Post Action: Concentration + ST-I vs Bandit Leader - 12 EN She forced herself to move, and while it wasn't nearly enough to actually let herself get close to the bandit leader, she at least had enough mobility to swing her blade. Of course, the Bandit Leader wasn't near her, and the attack should have, by all rights, missed. But as Astreya swung, frost sprung from the tip of the blade, hurtling outward toward the bandit leader, striking the woman across the side and shoulder, sending her stumbling backward a bit away from the hallway, and giving enough time for Astreya to actually sta
  20. Post Action: Concentration + ST-I vs Bandit Leader - 12 EN 2 EN (I missed) However, it seemed that Astreya was, in fact, done with the way that the fight was going, at least in the current moment. The Bandit Leader glowed for a half second, almost seeming to do a Sword Art of her own and whirled the weapon around, aiming to strike it into Astreya's body... but at the last second turned the blade, the flat striking her with all the force of the normal attack, but with it, she felt her body lock up. "A stun? Astreya managed out, the young woman's body shivering under the strain of t
  21. Post Action: Concentration + ST-B vs Bandit Leader - 20 EN Astreya's weapon was practically glowing with frost energy, and she had no idea what was going on... but she wasn't going to wait to figure it out. Once she was out of here with Kagamine she would take the time to figure it out. The power contained therein would give her more than enough power to just break through the bandit leader's guard. "Let's see you monologue this!" Astreya called, darting forward and following up the attack she'd just launched with another overhead swing. The frost on the blade shattered as it sl
  22. Post Action: ST-I vs Bandit Leader - 12 EN It didn't take long before they'd moved further into the compound, and before too much longer, Astreya could see something that looked like sunlight up ahead... but as she drew closer, she could see there was also someone standing in the way. "You stay here. I'll deal with whoever's up ahead. You just wait here," Astreya spoke, the woman's usual manner of speech beginning to drop as she found herself a little more concerned with her own issues at the moment than she was with getting Kagamine out of here. As soon as Kagamine had
  23. However, there were no other guards that Astreya could find. No one else rose up to greet them and they merely moved from one place to another in the darkness of the hideout. She frowned as she moved, the young woman swallowing softly as she gripped the hilt of her blade. This whole place made her feel ill-at-ease. "Hey... I appreciate you killing all those bandits and getting me out of here," the boy, Kagamine, spoke, and Astreya frowned, glancing back at him. "Yeah, no problem," she murmured, even though it was kind of one. She didn't really like going after these NPCs that lo
