Astreya | HP: 565/565 | EN: 28/70 | DMG: 15 | MIT: 104 | BH: 22 | ACC: 3 | THORNS: 0 | TAUNT: 1 Concentration: 3/5 As she called, there was a sound from behind her, and the boy came out from behind where he was hiding, looking over at where Astreya stood. The room was empty now, with the bandits having just faded away as they were just NPCs. "Did you...beat all of them? I stayed back like you told me," Kagamine spoke, frowning as he looked to the woman. "Yeah! Took them all out, no sweat!" Astreya returned with a grin, glancing back at the boy. "Same kinda thing though com

Astreya | HP: 565/565 | EN: 25/70 | DMG: 15 | MIT: 104 | BH: 22 | ACC: 3 | THORNS: 0 | TAUNT: 1 Concentration: 2/5 As the attack ended, and she felt the HUD starting to retract slightly from her as the combat followed suit, she stood up, exhaling softly. She shifted a bit, sheathing the blade back over her shoulder before looking down at her hands. She had...no idea where all the ice and frost and cold and everything had come from. She hadn't done anything like that before. It hadn't been so absolutely cold that it was harming or restricting that it would have done any frostbite
  3. Post Action: AoE-I vs Bandits (17 Fatigue) The woman let out a call of frustration and aggression both as the bandits struggled to move against the onslaught of ice and snow against her, and she shot forward, using the cold to finally find the opening that she needed to end the fight. She had to remind herself that these were NPCs. Even though they were humans, and that made it a lot... more difficult for her to stomach as she had to eliminate these three. There was something about taking down a humanoid foe that just made it... a little too real. But she had a boy and his mothe
  4. Post Action: Concentration + AoE-II vs Bandits (20 Fatigue) The woman's eyes were flecked with frost as she held her weapon more tightly, but she didn't even really bother to let herself shift into a sword art stance. She almost felt like...she didn't need to? She didn't really know what was going on, but there was definitely something different happening here from how she would normally fight. The frost and snow built up around her, and the young woman's eyes narrowed, another exhale of breath had become visible, as if the temperature around them was continuing to drop.

  6. "Yeah, I guess that's like, true," the girl murmured. She hadn't realized exactly where they were in terms of progression, but the way that he spoke it made her heart sink a little. It had been about two years and they were only a quarter of the way through the one hundred floors? That was crazy to think about, in the fact that they'd, at their current pace, be stuck here for another six years before getting out. That didn't factor in that some of the higher floors might be more difficult, too. There was a slight wilting in her form at that as the woman tried to rationalize it all. "Man
  7. "Well I think it's super cool," the girl announced, giving a small grin in response to the man's words. He didn't seem as if he were really certain of just how much information and such he had to share with everyone, but surely he had enough documented here on the first floor? "If you're gonna, like, release it all at once, then for sure. But once you've got a whole collection down... like the first five or ten floors all totally figured out, then that could be really useful, y'know?" she spoke, tilting her head slightly to the side in question. "Like, just finding where all sorts of cool
  8. Astreya nodded along as the man spoke, finding his whole point of view to be rather interesting in what he was doing. He noted that he didn't really like to fight much at all, and she kind of understood and respected that both- she wasn't exactly much of a combatant either when it came down to it, but she did so because she felt like she needed to. And because the Tanks were in the most danger, she figured there might be more openings in that vein so... that's where she had dove headlong into. Of course, she was still getting there, but she was making some pretty strong strides in that dire
  9. "Totally!" the girl responded in response to the 'struggle' of being a solo player. It was true- there were many quests that she had seen, and attempted before realizing she was in way over her head and had to leave the scene. Some of them she kept jotted down for future attempts, but so far things were at a slow pace for her. "It's not like, all bad, but it's still a little lonesome sometimes. There's totally a sense of peace you can get when you're just like, looking out over a horizon and see nothing but the landscape for miles though. Or virtual miles, whatever, y'know?" she spoke, gl
  10. "Awesome!" the girl spoke in response to his agreement for coffee and sweets. That was about all it really took to get on Astreya's good side (granted it honestly took a lot less than that as was being made clear now) but she couldn't help but to think a little further on the opportunity. "Well, let's say more sweets than coffee," she amended after a moment of thought, curious on just how much good food she could get out of him. "I know a few good places a few floors up. So like, it's a date," she asserted with a grin, even if they'd already somewhat come to the unspoken agreement that they
  11. Astreya totally approves this!
  12. The girl, despite her rather peppy (and preppy) countenance had a keen eye for conversation on all fronts. Her father had been strict when she was younger, teaching her many thing that were above her, despite her mother's protests. Of course, the girl had been exposed to such things early and had adapted, learning such things as several maneuvers in chess and a few other things which put her on a slightly different level than most of her peers... but she still struggled with things like mathematics and other more standard school subjects. She'd learned how to read that body language, and wh
  13. "Pshaw. Maybe in the real world but here in the game, like, everything's down to the stats and junk. More stats you have, the better you are. So even if, like, you look like you're not able to do well, you can totally cave some big dude's head in if they try to be rude," the girl spoke, nodding to herself at the words. "But yeah, the dragon dude is totally a jerk. I just need to make sure I'm at that same strong level one day so I can deal with him and cut it to ribbons on my own!" she cheered. She wasn't sure if Melodie was feeling concerned with everything going on, or the missed
  14. "No way! That, like, totally depends on the girl that you're asking," Astreya spoke, not at all minding the light-hearted nature of discussing the fine art of flirtation and courting with someone else. Everyone she'd met had been a rather serious sort, so getting a refreshing sort of conversation like this was nice. It wasn't anything too deep, too dark, or a concern for her, plus she was interested in seeing just how guys saw this sort of thing. Usually she just watched them either try and fail or try and succeed, and she wasn't too sure they actually knew the reasons for it. "So like, i
  15. Astreya couldn't help but to roll her eyes a little at the other, given the fact that he changed his mind when it came down to the fact that she couldn't beat him in the footrace. Really all it meant was that he had wanted to have some opportunity to buy her coffee. While she was flattered that he was interested, so far she didn't quite know enough about him to really give him any time of day. Not that it was his fault- but her father was a military man, and there had been very, very few boys who had managed to get through her dad's scrutiny. So because of that, without her father to loom
  16. Astreya says "This is, like, totally okay!" Approved!
  17. After a long arduous review, this is Astreya-Approved!
  18. At the man's words, she couldn't help but to grin slightly. "Sure, sure. I'll, like, tell you all the ways that you're screwing it all up," she responded with a small laugh. "I'll give you all the pointers I can," she added agreeably. She didn't think there was any way that she could actually help here, from what she remembered about how this quest went. She hadn't had a whole lot of problem with it... but when it came to the other quests, she tended to just kind of...cause issues for people. Not really by being annoying or around, but she was pretty sure she was bad luck There was no w
  19. "True, true. I just don't know how much help I'll be beyond guiding you there. Once you're, like, on the quest and all that I can't really do anything to, like, help you out, y'know? It's totally only open for you to see the quest items," she spoke, giving the man a small grin. He seemed like he was just the kind of guy who got by on his own happiness. He made his own worth, rather than letting other people tell him what he was able to do, or not able to do. That was actually a little unexpected, based on what she'd come to expect from the multitudes of people. There were some here and
  20. "Well that's a weird middle name," the girl teased back, not missing a beat in response to that. She had been on the cheer leading team in high school and up through college and she was fairly well acquainted with several attemps at a pickup. Although admittedly since most of the people who played this game were generally either less-sociable or filled with a number of personal traumas... it wasn't like she had been the target of such aggressive flirting in a very long time. He pushed on with the compliments and she grinned, shaking her head. "Naw. No way, no expert here. I'm what you co
  21. This has been Astreya-Approved! I don' have an image yet! But I'll get one!
  22. "Well aren't you just, like, the total charmer?" she responded, grinning a bit toward him. She wasn't quite used to having people being this open or brash with her- which was admittedly completely fine as far as she was concerned. She didn't mind at all having someone who was willing to try and lay on the charms. She wasn't so sure and would actually need to get to know the guy a little more first, but it was nice, if nothing else, to be noticed. "Oh, gathering? Yeah, that's actually, like, what I do," the girl cheered, beginning to move along with him, only a half-step behind for a f
  23. Astreya gave a low exhale, stretching her arms up over her head as she just enjoyed some of the sunlight here in the Town of Beginnings. While she was certainly high enough level now to go out into the higher floors, she had spent so much time here on the First Floor that she was comfortable here. She enjoyed the town, the atmosphere, and moreover, helping those who were finally gathering the courage to step out into the wilds beyond the safety of town. There was a lot of danger for the unprepared, and while after a little bit of time if you were able to get some levels up for things, t
  24. Astreya grinned over at her friend as Melodie came over as well to have some. The girl was very clearly out of her element but that was fine- Astreya was more than social enough for the both of them. She'd seen Melodie lingering on the outskirts of the party and afraid to engage, whereas Streya had just gone right in to talk to anyone who would listen to her for more than a few minutes. She was someone that thrived in this sort of environment and it showed as she flit around between a few different conversations so far. "Mel, this is Blueberry and Astralin!" she spoke, turning to gesture t
