"Well tell your new guy to keep fuckin' up because I really do enjoy suffering his consequences," Oscar said brightly as he plated his own omelette. Most men might have felt some type of way about being Plan B. Something about wanting to be the first to stake their claim or plant their flag or some other such nonsense. Oscar, on the other hand, didn't mind one bit. Especially not if it led to activities such as the ones they'd engaged in the night prior. He sank his fork into his omelette, bringing it up to his mouth as Mari spoke. Even as the topic veered off towards potentially uncomfor

The city of Athenia was alive with the NPC that frequented the floor, bouncing around on every building and clambering for every door. A lively place where the populous would screech and argue, chattering would create an endless white static of a crowd that seemed to follow you no matter where you went. The bright green locks of a man who twists to look at a chiseled fellow's ass, finding it leaving just a little to be desired. "Eh. Could do better." The man remarks without an ounce of compassion, the NPC being utterly unaware he was just sized up for a good party. Wandering down the bronzed s

Carsar turned out to be a pushover. He fell to the ground with a resounding crash and shattered into blue sparkles. As they vanished in the dark of the cave, Morningstar collected the hatchlings of Fuzziel. There were three (as well as an unhatched egg), which he quickly realized would be too heavy to carry on his own. Begrudgingly, he made trips back and forth, taking one dragonling at a time. Eventually, all were safe in the dragon mother's home. Fuzziel thanked him. Soon after, Morningstar had the chance to witness something beautiful. The egg moved and cracked, and out popped the head

It took little time to discover Carsar's cave. The quest automatically generated a waypoint when he accepted it, and so all Morningstar had to do was follow his map. He stood at the mouth, peering in with active night vision. He could see the hatchlings, but where was Carsar? The dragon thief, he assumed, rested deeper in the cave. He shuffled inside, this time more carefully. He wouldn't want to disturb a sleeping dragon, if he could so help it. The hatchlings, uncooperative little children, made it perfectly clear that Morningstar was there. As he lifted one from the nest, it began

Morningstar felt like he was walking on eggshells. He had never spoken to a dragon before, but assumed that they were fickle creatures. He worried that it might want to eat him. Frankly, he had entered the cave without knowing there was a dragon inside at all (although the piles of gold should have been a key indicator that he wasn't alone). He was exploring without aim or reason, as he sometimes did, and stumbled upon a cave he had not seen before. Floor 1 was all but entirely explored, so he was shocked to find it so far from the safezones. "Yes. I'm Morningstar. It's a pleasure to

It was early, the heat around him threatened to burn off anything that it could. Each connection with his hammer drops a stone or an ore, whichever the game decides to give at the moment. With each plain rock he picks it up and tosses it to his walking furnace. When the boulder breaks he moves on to the next. Adding to his stock a few prized iron and copper chunks, they both made for a great base for most weapons unless of course they demand something specific. At that point he would have to go searching for that specific brand of material. Today was not one of those days though. It was about

The man slams his foot into the edge of a doorway, trying his best to oblige her goals of secrecy. Allowing the girl to guide him with his hand covering his face, he'd run with the motions. Into a pale moonlit night with the stars looming overhead, a blanket tapestry of small white dots that broke up the cascade of blues. The man would take Elda's lead and look down to the paper and back up, easily plucking the star out amongst the many. A curious thing on a manufactured sky, but the gesture behind it was rather sweet regardless of the fact. As Elda would lean into his shoulder, the flowers ar

Right, sticking together is the best bet. Astra nodded at Sable's recommendation, and he began to move forward with his new companions towards a river and some gargantuan pines. Thankfully nobody seemed hurt or too worn down just yet. Astra wasn't quite sure where this sword was supposed to go at the current moment, but he did feel some strong sense of duty to return it with these players. When they came upon the edge of the river, Astra heard some shouting from up ahead. Searching through the pines ahead, he made out the figure of an elven player, motioning the players to make their way

Tapping the little button as it flashed to obscure the woman, as she'd turn to face him. An admission, an invitation. The statement would set alarm bells in motion aggressively, yet Lancaster would swallow them. To let the politics wait for tomorrow, a small reprieve for the woman he loved. "I love your passions mi fiamma. The scent of your hair, the taste of your skin. The way that your smile alights my heart, and makes me move to embrace you." Freyd, a name that he and the other fingers were more then familiar. Him and his little attack dogs that hunted their kind like animals. Like tearing

Mari leaned forward, taking a bite of the cake. Very slowly dragging it off the fork - her crystalline eyes watching him. She pulled away with a slight lick of her lips. “Something sweet, to bite through the sour conversation.” She mused. Mari felt relief when he said he had little interest in killing her friends. Even more so when he said that Opals infiltration was a false report. So that meant there wasn’t anything insidious hiding beneath the surface. At least…for now. He admitted they just wanted the frontlines to stop. She doubted they ever would. Mari shifted her weight so she was

A small muffled chuckle as he calls out checkmate, it had been the third game that he stomped her. It was easy to overthink, to create fear that shouldn't even exist. Feeling pressure against her neck, closing her eyes as the sleeve droops down. His touch was absolutely electrifying. A sharp inhale, he wanted to be here just as much as she did and his insane feelings matched her own. It was nice to hear, there was something comforting about those words. He pulls her closer, her face reddens. "Okay," was all she could say, he made it very clear, this made her happy. "I want to show you somethin

The man would take the fork from her, and cut off a bit of cake and offer it to her given she'd looked like she'd wilt away when he first arrived. "Such sour topics, is a bit too grim." He'd wave a finger as he'd poke a little of the cake into her mouth "I have little interest in killing all of your friends, mi amore. Neither does Laughing Coffin. Opal's infiltration was a little false report. A guise. fabbricato. She tried to self promote and bit off a bit more then she could chew." Lancaster gently rubs the fork on her bottom lip, searching his thoughts and counting the guillotine he was enc

"The Laughing Coffin, a bit nebulous to say aloud I must admit." He wasn't wrong, he must have picked up on the dour expression Mari had given at saying the name. She wasn’t trying to. He explained how they found her effective, capable and ruthless. Parts of it felt like compliments, others…ruthless…not so much. He admitted they wouldn’t be able to control her. She snorted. Closing her eyes to think back on her mindset back then. “I don’t think even you could have controlled me back then, maybe... I was a fucking mess. All those chemicals you saw in my workshop? The contraptions? Imagine

The smile widening in his neck alerted him to the fact she felt the sudden pressure, and Lancaster nibbled her ear gently as a way to get even. The slight rub of her legs, allowing her own tension to build in equal measure. "This cake is squisito, but I am afraid to butcher the name again, mi anima gemella." A little red glow with the trail of smoke, drunk in a way that the man had no tolerance and would ever build any. The tightening topic saw him tightening up to pull her in, shifting to tap another flick of ash into the filling cup. He'd nod, struggling to keep a straight head as he'd sit w

Raidou would look to the board state, his castled rook opened when the pawn had been taken earlier. His king secure, and the queen moving an excellent interference through a power play. The man would draw the line, as he'd run the rook right through her backline. "Checkmate." The man offers mysteriously, knowing full well that the line of soldiers were undermined by the simple play. To rely too much on strong pieces, without the insight to see how they interplay with one another left spaces where everything could be undone with a single well planned stroke. Elda presses a left into his cheek c

Mari waited, watched as he immediately lit a cigarette, with her permission. Chain smoking in such a way would leave him for dead in the real world - but here it left little effect beyond an unpleasant smell. He relaxed further into the chair, an arm coiling around her waist, a thumb gently running against the skin of her hip beneath her sweater. This felt…so warm. The woman closed her eyes. Her head rested against his chest, fingers absently tugging and tracing the clavicles that protruded from his loose fitting shirt. She could feel his heartbeat. Could feel the gentle rise and fall as he br

His skin was alarmingly cold to the touch. It was a bit weird how she retained heat like fire and he held the coolness of storms. An arm wraps around her back as a hand lays on her left side. Watching each movement carefully learning the strategies of which were hidden until now. "Hmm, but if I move my bishop then my queen would be exposed by your other knight right here," pointing to the piece being referred to. Focusing on every move that could possibly be made. "Moving my bishop would put me in check mate," tying to push every scenario into view. "If I move this knight right here," moving i

He'd enjoy that rake of her finger against his chin, leaning into it just a bit and even making a space for it to ride. "This amuses me, glad to be of service." He'd lean forward and allow his hot breath to escape as he'd gently nibble on her neck, a treat for a good hound. Once Mari told him he could smoke he'd sigh in relief. "I will not lie mi amore, is was out of respect but I normally go so long... I appreciate your kindness." He wouldn't hesitate to poke one in, folding his thumb into his palm and flicking it out to see fire spring to life on its tip. The cigarette glows in a rushing red
