  1. Taking in the sights, the hunter could only think for a moment before getting the fishing pole out of his inventory. If the goddess was correct, then the lady that was with him was somewhere out there. He had to slow himself as he thought he was on a timer after what the goddess said. Though, with him being on this island, he could not think about where else the woman was. There was no way to get off of the island that he knew of. There had to be some here that would point him in the right direction. Walking along the shoreline, Hirru couldn't see much out from the horizon. Maybe th
  2. It finally seemed like the fighting was going somewhere, as the boss' stats seemed to come into view. They still had a long way to go, but they seemed to be running through it pretty well. Even when the creature shifted its tail to smack them. The wind it produced would have swept them away, if not for the tight quarters that made the tail drag the ground. This would still hit their tank, Freyd, as he took the attack ridiculously well. It even sounded like a hard hit, but the man's hp didn't dip barely a blip. It was here that the hunter thought about something. Did.. the boss not have
  3. Hirru held his hand up to the water goddess, as if to ask for something. "Wait.." "I do not wait, mortal.. The sea waits for no man. The flow is everlasting and the cycle forever ongoing. If you think that you can make nature wait, then you are very mistaken." "I apologize. I did not mean to offend." "Then you would do well to set out your rod and fish out your female companion. She has been lost at sea for some time. With a little bit of luck, I'm sure you would find a way to seek her out and rescue her. The goddess would smile before looking around the lagoon.
  4. "You do not sail. You do not swim." The lady of the water would start to pout about the things that have happened to the hunter. "You pay no mind to those that are missing, even though your life is fine as is." She would continue to speak about the hunter as if she had been watching them the entire time to then criticize him at every turn. Who is this being that kept throwing insults his way? "About the only thing you seem to be good at is to fish, but even then you are still of amateur level for. Yet, you wish to be granted audience with me?" Hirru then thought tha
  5. The girl! Where was the girl?! The hunter looked around but couldn't see any living being other than the foliage on the land, and the fish in the sea. If there were any woman that was with him, they are long gone now. Possibly drowned underneath the waves that capsized their boat. It was a rough thing to do to make someone that doesn't understand a thing about sailing to start sailing. This quest had already claimed a life of an NPC. Hirru shook his head after thinking that. It was a bloody NPC! They would probably spawn back in the main town once more when someone else wants to do th
  6. "Keep calm! Carry out your attacks!" He would call out to the rest of them. If their regular attacks wouldn't work, then this round of attacks would cause more to occur. He could see many different effects pooling together from every attack that their group and from the others. He couldn't fully see which one was which, but there was some heavy damage over time effects and elemental hits in there. As the so called 'Elemental Warlord', the hunter would think that this may invoke some kind of response. More so than what it was currently doing, which was relatively ignoring them.
  7. As they stepped through the gate, the crystals light seemed to be less brilliant as he thought. The seemed to shine on in the brilliance of colors, each a representation of the crystals above. Were they not also representations of the elements around? He forgot which one was which though.. Blue for Water? Red for Fire? Green for wood.. The heck is yellow? Though, that would all come to a fissure as the crystalline walls seemed to move. The boss wasn't in the room, it was the room. Large and intimidating, the serpentine body would coil all around the area with only the head coming down
  8. "We've all been out of sorts lately. Especially after that last floor boss fight. Everyone has been off on their own devices." Hirru was predominantly talking about the 26th floor boss raid and the subsequent event that had them shooting through the skys in flying ships. He was still not comfortable about that whole mess, especially after the issues that came after the fight. Gabrandr being spared by so many that he thought were going to kill him.. Hirru's own tribulations that spawned from the events of a previous floor's fight would pop their ugly head that day too. There was so m
  9. He would look on to the dark sky. If the hunter would actually check his clock, he would see what time it was, but the darkness here would make it seem like the night had taken its hold. As would NIGHT have their attention on the hunter as he began to speak his tale. "Most tales about this place would probably start where it all began for us all. That fateful day where we all started and became trapped in this damned prison." It was something that most people didn't need to be reminded of, as this was the one thing that everyone was fighting through the floors of Aincrad to begin
  10. It wasn't even a moment after he let those words pass his lips did the signs upon the door start to alight, and the golem would reanimate. He nearly panicked, as it was far too early to start the fight and he thought he doomed everyone here. The hunter was about ready to send up a barrier until the rest of the front lines had appeared, but something else happened. The golem, it walked away. For some reason, the hunter felt something from the creature's body movements. It was as if the creature was depressed and unsure. It must have been blocking the door for a reason. Did.. was he.. Wa
  11. Listening to them go on and on in this circle that they have been spouting, the hunter was starting to understand. Those phrases must mean something, if that's what they were going for. Hirru didn't really think that was gonna work, but he would hear them out as they went. Nari, NIGHT and that Morningstar guy all tried so far. The hunter said that he wasn't going to join in, but there was something odd about what they were talking about. Wouldn't the broken world be at the end, where a world would be cleansed anew? He didn't know what else there was, but the order that the last two were
  12. Since he was nowhere near the ability to work through this area on his own, he would have probably waited for @Freyd and / or @Crozeph to help him along the way. He still lamented that he couldn't just walk the paths himself, but his search wasn't much help through their last venture through the area. They would be his guide, instead of the other way around. "Ronbaru? Dagan? Srona? Ordsea? Braso? Am I missing something or do we fancy talking politics to rocks?" It would be the first thing that the hunter has said to a few of them for a while, but it was reasonable to assume what
  13. A message would come from Nari, a small notification that his order was complete. Hirru sighed in relief as he had two professions working on these healing items. He was going to go check up on Zandra when he got the message. This would definitely help out during their boss raid. Taking his time to walk into the teleportation station, he would warp down to the fourth floor. Walking into the studio, the hunter would wave to his fellow raider. "I know it must have been rough, but thank you for getting all of this done. It'll help us out when the fighting gets prolonged. I'll be s
  14. "It was certainly interesting, to say the least. First time I had been to such a.." Jolly green Hirru grew silent for a second before continuing on with his sentence. He didn't want to seem too lost in thought. Though, with Hirru starting to have a reputation of odd things, it may not be to his favor about anything that he would do. He wondered how everyone thought of him. "..lively gathering. Although, I guess I did have a hand in throwing things for a loop." He didn't want to say that he may or may not have ruined it, but he knew what he did. There was always something t
  15. The hunter awoke coughing and sputtering as he lay face down on a soft, wet sandy ground. His vision was filled with the bright grains before a film of foamy water would slosh around him. Instinctively trying to get away from the water, Hirru found himself on a little patch of sand surrounded by the sea. The blazing sunlight above seemed to tell him that the storm from before had passed, but it did not seem like the light was where it was supposed to be. "Uh.. has it been a day?" He thought to himself before looking around. This wasn't the only island it seemed, as there was litt
  16. NIGHT's attacks were spot on to take down one of the guardian elementals without much issue, though the hiccup from the first strike seemed to be not her own fault. The incline may have done it, or something else. Now, though, there was only one left. The hunter figured he may be able to get it, but these creatures sometimes had a slight amount of evasion with their make. The dungeons were getting far too predictable at this point. Though, it was around this time that the system would make some kind of change, but they may not see it until it actually happens. With that, the lone ele
  17. "I guess.." He looked around, but there wasn't any place nearby to sit and watch the flowers, that is any place he wanted to move to. They were still in the middle of the garden of flowers, with the tree's canopy covering them all. The red-ish flowers that hung overhead would send a soft pinkish glow down, illuminating the golden flowers underneath. The night was still young, and it would probably still be after what he would have to say. "..I should tell another tale." Slowly, he would walk back to the other side of the tree, where the stone pathing would encircle the tree a
  18. Yet another time where he didn't have to do anything and the one with the fallen and holy weapon would burn through the scores of enemies. These weapons were seriously something to look out for, but the hunter knew just how bad it was to find. There was probably only one way to get a full version of one, and that was to fuse together specially appraised weapons with one or two of each unique enhancements. Already a physically and mentally daunting task, as it probably took hundreds of appraisals. Lots of regular weapons sold off to the nether that was the merchant's network. He wondered i
  19. "Wha.. Huh?" He didn't know how to feel about all of this. He was sort of okay in talking about the memory loss, but only to those that really needed to know about it. Those that took part in the 23rd floor raid had a right to know about it. So why did he still not let Jomei and the others know? Hell, he never told Freyd as much, and they started really going into Hirru's tales. NIGHT didn't need to know about it. didthey Hirru was hesitant to answer, and snapped a quick glimpse back to NIGHT. "No! There isn't.." A flash of blue and he was dealing with another apparition,
  20. "Probably going to come out if we try to investigate the main trees themselves." He walked forward slightly behind NIGHT. He still had reservations over the support deal, especially having someone else take the brunt of the battle while he did a little healing or buffing. He had wished he had <hate> gain skills or abilities, so that he could tank a bit, but that would cause more problems. Especially since he was the healer now. He couldn't heal himself without using an AOE heal or a potion. Sighing heavily, the hunter checked once more to find that the two trees seemed to be hi
  21. Hirru could only stand there as the flower that glowed as brightly red-ish as his visions showed him. He couldn't understand too well why he kept seeing these people. Why were they there for him at some points, but not when he would need them the most. Though, did he really need these things constantly talking to him? He didn't even know who these people were! He only knew that they would come to him at times of terrible stress. Was it his mind making things up? It could be a possibility, but that wouldn't explain the times when he saw NIGHT as the blue haired girl. He wasn't stressed
  22. Hirru kept them moving steadily, with slight variations to the left or right, depending on specific spawn zones within the region. Although the ant hills of the 11th floor were a bit farther out, that didn't mean that their tunnels didn't extend throughout the entirety of the floor. Little holes or caves could suddenly turn into their spawns for a month, if not dealt with before hand. If it wasn't for Shield explaining how the game's system probably worked, then the hunter wouldn't understand how the system kept tabs on our leveling and farming locations. It would spawn things in for a cer
  23. Hirru looked to the both of them and could only smile under that rough beard. This would be a second for him, as he had not spent this holiday with too many people before. The gift of giving, it seemed, was something that was worth the price of what it took to get these weapons. Both were relics of his hunting past now, to which he would no longer be a part of. That is, without help. He would smile and nod to the both of them as they gave thanks for their presents. Hirru looked back to the other girl and only shook their hand. "It is okay if you do not wish to answer now, but at any
  24. Everything seemed to be quite different to when the event first started. First of all, there were screams and a commotion that seemed to be coming from all around. Voices that were unfamiliar to the hunter, as they were not ones of his familiar friends and acquaintances. Nor were they of anyone else in the party that he knew of. More importantly, why was his vision so blurry? Rubbing the back of his head, Hirru found that he was lying on the ground, for some reason. The sounds around him seemed to alert the hunter to something going on, as this was not where he last remember himself
  25. It wasn't long before something new and rather unexpected would stop their descent. A large flat plateau that seemed to be covered in tiles of black and white. Covering a majority of the tiles on both ends of the plateau were statues, each representatives to a specific color palette: white and black. They were specifically entering around the side of the white colored statues. The other side seemed to be blocked slightly by the two largest statues of the other side; one looking like a lithe regal woman, and the other a jovially fat noble man. Behind them was the exit, but something didn't
