  1. "What in the world are you guys doing? Snowballs? Fighting? Forts? Hmm.. I guess." // Team A!
  2. It looks like that's what brought out their hidden adversary. Dark hair, couldn't tell the exact color with the current lighting, but that didn't matter much. Their clothing, though simplistic, seemed to help them blend in, although the hunter didn't think that was impart by any specific enhancement or design. The stealth skill was quite well known to hide even the largest of great sword wielders, if done correctly. This one didn't need that, it seemed. "Well, if it isn't our third party." Hirru was not going to let this opportunity get away from him, although he really didn't ha
  3. The glow of shades and ghouls that inhabited the realm were starting to come out more and more, as a lantern became dark leaving a single smoldering remnant of light, from the last remaining one. It cast its glimmers upon Hirru's back, shining upon the silver plating that was his armor, leaving a feint outline from behind his shield. It was the only light that he could properly use, as the glow of the shades were not something to easily go by. They were known to cause imagery that may not be real. Making the dead seem to be living residents of the world. Some times, they would look upon t
  4. "I'll let you know that the heat is unbearable without taking proper precautions. It gets to the point where you are boiling in your armor." Hirru would continue on the information that he still had of his old hunting grounds. There was so much to talk about that there probably wasn't enough time in the day to talk about it all. Where to go and what to do were all things that he had to figure out on his own, mostly. Although, he had to figure out everything anyway.. "Your health starts to drop, if you don't seek shade or shelter when the effect is upon you. It's not something yo
  5. "Hey now! I didn't intentionally flood the place. It.." He remembered that to have himself be recognized by the player known as Jevi, the hunter would have to do something drastic, but he didn't really mean to leave the water on. He was just in a hurry, as she seemed to be leaving and he didn't want to catch her leaving without a proper means. Rubbing the back of his head with his free hand, Hirru had no weapon to be a threat with the entire time. What was keeping their hidden stalker? This was not Hidden's M.O., so who was it? "..It just kinda happened.." There was also
  6. It seemed that this one was having some troubles. Quite a bit more than the hunter was really willing to work out, but the talks would have to be a timer. Whomever was skulking about in the dark isn't really attacking either of them. Was it a matter of numbers? It is true that two versus one is not usually a good tactic to face against, although the hunter has faced greater odds while fighting for his loot and lore. It was best not to dwell on it too much though. If it was a matter of numbers, then the moment that the had a chance, the hidden one could attack them once one of them walks
  7. "Ah, it's a pretty dangerous place, but it starts with some of the most useful skill from throughout Aincrad." Hirru would start out as he recounted the layout of the fifth floor, also known as, the desert floor. Although many things changed after the twenty fifth floor incident, it still mostly kept the same motif. Hirru would talk about the main town, Fortaleza, being a minor stronghold before, was now just a fair sized town. The desert, which took over all of the floor, seemed to have worn away some areas, giving vision towards a large chasm that wasn't there before. The multitude
  8. The sight of the individual that was not seeming to hide their position would come into view, and it was not someone that he was expecting. He didn't really remember the name of the one before him, but he did remember her from the party at Koga's. She was with Astreya, while he was trying to deal with a flooding kitchen. He couldn't really remember if she was anywhere else, though he had a sneaking suspicion she was at the tournament too. So odd for another player to be here, though that could say the same for him. "Aye, usually so. Was expecting something else to be here, but not a
  9. The sounds of a woman's voice called out in the distance. Although the murmur of the dead were not that uncommon, they were not that clear to begin with. Just moans and cries, really. No, this one was inquisitive and farther away from the center of town. Hirru wasn't really expecting anyone to be coming here, especially one of the worst floors to venture into without night vision. Unfortunately, Hirru never learned that modular skill. Although, what he did have was a certain set of skills to find the unknown. Getting up, his quick change allowed his equipment to be set in an instant
  10. "Believe me when I say that this is only a sign that my next hunt will end with not but col." He shook his head as the items disappeared into his inventory. The chest, having dissolved, also took the bait with it. The bleeding scoundrel could've left a bit of it for the fishes, but not so much of a morsel was left. The hunter wrestled with another bit of bait from in his inventory, and cast it back out into the calm flowing water. After making sure it wouldn't catch something in the next couple of seconds, Hirru would continue on. "I guess you're testing the waters, or so they sa
  11. How long has it been? Time seemed to flow so oddly from the norm, at least that's what the jade haired hunter thought, as he walked through the silent streets of Yomi. It seemed to be that time of year once more, where the streets were slowly reverting back to normal after the holiday season. Only during the last couple weeks of the tenth month, a slightly livelier tone could be felt from the central square and the main roads leading in and out of the town. Normally, there is no light nor any sense of life on the floor, even in Yomi. Everything is a spirit or undead type mob. Though, dur
  12. Hirru let out a slight chuckle and nodded to the company. The one going by the name Kana pulled out a fishing rod, intending to join the hunter. By the look of the rod, it would seem that he had only just started his fishing venture. It was a small time hobby, but something that was suppose to yield one of the most treasured unique items, a gleaming scale. These scales that could be gathered from Rainbow Fish, were incredibly rare, all due to the fact that you had to catch a rainbow fish to begin with. He remembered the quest giver telling him as such, but looking at his own inventory, he
  13. The waters surface seemed to tremble as a disturbance comes about from around the bend. The sound of clanking metal on metal of the heavy armor classes; the hunter would know them quite well. It would seem that someone was walking towards him, although with how many still lived on the first floor, it could be anyone. With a slight turn of the head so that he could still see the bobber in his peripherals, he eyed up the individual that would be coming so close to a lone individual. Long black hair and armor that seemed to be familiar. It was only then that the hunter would recognize the in
  14. Diverging Streams Flow Into One The fight to keep everyone's hope alive still rages on overhead, upon the newly founded floor twenty seven. A tireless assault that tests even the strongest of individuals. Everyone's lives that have been trapped inside the floating castle, Aincrad, hold these players in high regard, even if none know their names. These men and women, children and adults, are all there to complete the every growing challenge. These are the front liners, the hope of this world. However, hope can falter and fade, and so has the determination of many of the once stron

  16. It had been some time since the rune scribe had a customer. Although, it could be said that there hadn't much foot traffic in these parts in a while. Though, when the long dark haired individual walked around the corner, Hirru was keeping his inventory of unidentified items up. He didn't want to be caught without his records kept, especially when someone could use these items more than him. Upon hearing the man out, the jade haired rune scribe would nod to him. "Yeah, that's about right. Welcome to the Travelling Flame's Rune Appraisal! I'm Hirru, and I'll take care of that weapon a
  17. Grave's words seem to strike the hunter in an odd way. Yes, all of them were young adults, he guessed. Even some children here and there, but that was it. Most of them had proven themselves to have grown past their physical age. He was pretty sure of that. Though, to call all of them heroes, may be a stretch. They were all doing it to survive, but knew that they couldn't sit still to do so. If they stayed here, they would all die slowly. Hirru had been told as such, as they were all just wasting away on beds or what not. Sooner or later, someone would pull the plug. It was all a matt
  18. "Yeah, the Knights are no more. The guild is still there, but there is only the Commander now. Although, no, I haven't joined anyone else yet. Had too much on my mind." Hirru sighed the response as they passed more burning lava. The flames that scorch out would seem to singe the hunter a bit, but not by much. Although he may not have <<Survival>> equipped anymore, his health pool and regen would disregard the minor environment damage. At least, for this floor. He wouldn't have the capacity to do the same on the highest floors, if they ever brought out a reason for it.
  19. Hirru would follow after NIGHT, slipping out of the wagon without too much issue. He had plenty of time around wagons to dismount them without falling from his heavy armor setup. Putting the book away, he didn't want it to be the primary concern at this moment, although, he may have let on more than he thought. When asked about the origins of the book, the hunter would give an honest answer. "Oh, that? I found it in a dungeon on the 22nd floor. In the Forest of Memories, I asked a friend to help me with dungeon that I found. Though, the place was covered in fog, the fog seemed to pu
  20. Hirru shook his head as NIGHT asked if she should switch out her weapon. "No, although this is for observation, I can always revisit this dungeon multiple times to learn more. I prefer our safety over information. We may be powerful as we are, but that can change quite easily, especially if the enemy has something we don't know about." He nodded down to her hand as the weapon would disappear. "Whatever is your preferred method of fighting would be better. Especially for the next part of this place. We've taken care of the dungeon's guardians, so let's enter and deal with the
  21. "So, right before I fully joined the front lines." Hirru would say as Grave would start eating the ration that he gave him. Still as happy-go-lucky, as ever it seemed. The feeling and want of reminiscing upon old times would make him start to walk. "Let's get going, and I'll talk about it all along the way." Walking out of the main gates of Yogan Village, the two of them would be heading westward towards the Iron Wrought Ruins, where this quest would take place. For most, they would be take the shortest route through the lowlands, but the area was known to shift and changed d
  22. Seeing everyone starting to come in to the kitchen, the hunter was reminded of the glory days of the Knights of the Blood Oath. Grave making food for everyone in his café, especially for the ever hungry Chewie, as all the blacksmiths of the guild would come down to eat their fill. Hirru really had to think back on it, and there were far too many of Blacksmiths in the guild. Of course, there was Opal and Mack's constant pranks using Opal's or Petra's potions that would paint someone purple for an hour, or make sounds follow them for a time. Although they kept everything rather strict, that
  23. Flipping through the book, the first couple pages seemed to have instructions, or more like a warning. NIGHT was going through it rather quickly, so Hirru wasn't able to see exactly what it was pertaining to. The next couple pages seemed to have, what looked like poems of sorts, or were they riddles. Again, NIGHT was flipping through the pages faster than what he could read. Though, after the three pages, they seemed to have little to no writing what so ever. Not really much to go on, unless one actually read it. He took the book back while NIGHT was asking him questions. "Huh..?
  24. Unlike his venturing partner, Hirru had no proper power against these creatures. NIGHT's barrage would send all but one back to their digital prisons, or what ever the hell this place would call the after life, if ever a things was reasonably viable. Her movements mirrored many others that would use the sword arts, though, he could swear that some of her own movements were being thrown in. Though, the darkness that came out of it was something he had been seeing a lot more of lately. "Fallen, huh?" He had seen similar effects quite a bit more recently, mostly from when Hirru was v
  25. "I'm.." He lets go of the book enough to allow NIGHT to access the inner workings of the problematic book. "I've been looking for this quest for some time, to the point of nearly going mad. I would venture around the floor that it used to be on, only to claim nothing but the exhaustion of a sleepless day." He would be embarrassed to say it, but there are many things that he could not say about the matter. At least, he was trying not to. It was such a burden to lie to people about it, but it was a reasonable thing to not talk about. What would the world think, if one person d
