  1. The players she'd passed entered the building, and Dazia did what she could to not make a sound. She kept a watchful gaze on the players, and then a male with long hair looked over in her direction somewhat, and with the actions he was taking, he seemed to be aware of something...and that would only mean one thing if it was true. She'd been found. She remained still, but a half-grimace formed on her expression as she began to silently worry about what the man intended to do. For the time being, however, she looked at the various players with him. There was the male player with black
  2. "There she is, get her!" "Damn it." Always those three. Ever since Princess tipped them off, they'd been chasing Dazia all around Aincrad. Dazia knew that in the Town of Beginnings, one easy way to escape from sight was among other players and NPCs. She traveled from crowd to crowd, then found a secure but temporary hiding spot as to swap her attire from combat gear to some casual, black clothing, hoping to throw them off her trail. She then quickly darted away, seeking some more helpful shelter until she could assure herself that the three who were chasing her gave up again. Sh
  3. In need of a teleport Crystal again, due to having ran out, Dazia made her way over to various merchant shops, only to find that they were not open at this time. However, she would eventually stumble upon a different kind of mercantile setup when her search brought her to floor thirteen. It was definitely an odd sort, and it was manned by two people, it seemed. Whether or not there was another, that had yet to be seen. Whatever the case, Dazia needed to get straight to business. Get in, purchase the teleport crystal, get out. Simple as that. She would find a teleport crystal, bring it over to t
  4. The Ninth floor was, under normal conditions, too warm for Dazia to tolerate. That, however, would change, when she sets out to finally get her hands on this "Survival" skill... Despite the sweltering conditions, Dazia would enter the floor, due to hearing about an exceptional blacksmith who forges within it. Must be easy to find materials and heat sources on a floor like this, so it kind of made sense to her. She would enter the shop and take a look around, eventually deciding to make a custom order. She would pull out an order form, and fill it out with the desired item type, material,

  6. The player wasted no time in getting to work. The sights that seemed to suggest that she was a ghost, rather than a player, suggested a possibility as to what this might have been. Chances were, it was that one skill Dazia had heard of, but had yet to gain herself. Disguise, it had to be that. All Dazia would need to would be to track down whatever allowed her to unlock it, and she would be heading over...but for now, first things first. the gear. Dazia would hear some muttering, something about not...trying to wear a dress in combat. "Why is everyone choosing appearance over practicality
  7. Closed...closed...closed again...Dazia had looked throughout various floors for any tailors that were open, and time was of the essence if she was to survive with better gear, now that she had reached the second tier. "Damn it, how am I supposed to get armor that I actually have the skill for if none of those who make it have their stores open?" She thought, with a scowl on her face. She was searching through floor four now, and it might be worth it to investigate the cabin over in the frozen forests that littered the floor... When she reached the cabin, she would see, on the door, readin

  10. Dazia knew she had far to go in terms of her profession, but she would need to make use of what little she had. She took two of the materials she would need, and got to work. Unfortunately, this day's attempts would not go as well as they did the day before. One of her projects shattered as she tried to work on it, while another came out in a way that wasn't too good. She wanted to fix it, but it shattered when she tried. She let out what was clearly a frustrated sigh as her head then hit the desk. It would be a while before she could actually get the shop and its inventory into a decent state
  11. At long last, Dazia finally had herself a shop. For the time being, it would be closed until she could get herself a fair inventory of both items and materials...speaking of which, she needed to get things set up for herself, not only in the first story, but the second one that she could use as both a workshop and a makeshift living space. It wasn't much, but it would definitely save at least a little col from having to stop by inn after inn... Once she had finally gotten the interior situated, she decided to start working on her crafts. They were likely to fail, but she believed she woul
  12. Ombre Di Cristallo Not far from the gates of Taft, there is a two-story building to the left of it, over in the forest. The trees around the building appear to provide ample shade for it. The building itself does not seem like very much on the outside, but does appear to be well kept, with the exception of ivy growing along its walls, despite there being evidence of the ivy being clipped, its growth controlled. A sign beside the steps leading to the door reads "Ombre Di Cristallo", but due to the in-game translative feature, it can be read as "Crystal Shadows". Upon entering, a sma
  13. Dazia had been in this game for a long time now, and yet, she had never heard of this part of the Town of Beginnings? So it was true, there is always something new, waiting to be discovered by the players. She would make her way to this part of town, where she had heard of two player-ran shops. She needed consumables, so she would be on the lookout for...what was she looking for? She would have look closely at the buildings around in order to find what she was looking for. After some time, she would see two buildings that didn't exactly look like they were in the best shape. One of them had a

  15. I'll admit, I didn't expect my muse for my <<Earning a Living>> thread to drop to 0%, but it happened when I realized I was going to have to find some way of making a 150+ word post for each. single. failure, in crafting. Just how am I supposed to do that? There's not nearly enough I can come up with at the current moment!

    1. Teion

      Teion

By the way, shop posts have only a 100-word requirement, not 150~

Earning a living thread, not shop. At least to my understanding

Whoooops, I read the word crafting so many times I missed that part. My bad :'3

Yeah, unfortunately if you're struck with bad rolls you'd just have to keep trying until you get it. Just For the Halibut was a real slog for me like that, took Shield and I ages to push through all the bad CD rolls.

  16. Turns out, Dazia might not have to get as involved as she thought she was going to. The awkward situation of the possible triangle wasn't worth listening to, but at least there wasn't any unnecessary hostility directed towards her. Soon, Krysta and Vigilon walked over to the merchant to see what he had in stock, soon finding out about the raffle. Who knows, her luck here in the wintertime might be far better than than the summertime, judging from personal experience. "Go ahead and talk to them if you'd like, Yinangi. I'm entering that raffle." She would walk over to the merchant, take off her
  17. Dazia went on her own way again, and pretty soon, Yinangi came by. "Heeeey! How are you, Dazia? Hey, why aren't you wearing anything festive this time of year? Don't tell me that the nearest tailor shop ran out of festive outfits, that shouldn't be possible!" "I'm not exactly in the mood to wear such bright colors, it's not like they would suit me well. I may find myself able to relax, and at least try to have a good time, but I'm usually not one to wear something...like that." She explained, gesturing to the elf outfit that Yinangi was wearing. Yinangi huffed and said, "Oh come on, can't you
  18. Dazia was originally intending to explore the fourth floor for a bit, but once again, she would have to do something else. The entire settlement was now lit up and festive. "Just what are lights doing in the time frame this game was set in? It makes no sense!" If there was one who she thought might like a Christmas event, it was Yinangi. So she decided to message her. After she sent the message, she would walk around and see what would be happening. She wouldn't be wearing anything festive, for she just wasn't in the mood to wear red, white, and/or green. She saw some things happen as
