[BR-F28] Paving the Way to Floor 29 [Team 2: Freyd]
Wulfrin replied to Plot Master's topic in The Frontlines
Wulfrin was still in laser focus mode, but he could have sworn he saw Freyd continuing to torment Callisto as if nothing had happened. The only explanation Wulfrin had was their shared shill Shades of the Gemini, but it's abilities were barred from events like raids. The whole situation made no sense, and so long as no one took notice, that would solidify that Freyd's "ghost" had just joined his ever-growing chorus of spectral incarnations of his sins. Callisto was no longer playing around, it was desperate and looking for a chance to escape. Like the previous round it took a stance sugge -

Wulfrin returned to the AoE gameplan as he struck the left head of Cerberus, Inferno Rage and the three Infernal Hellhounds. The hellhounds reeled from the stunning strike whil the left head of Cerberus fell limp in defeat. The two remaining heads lashed out towards Wulfrin with only one being able to land a blow on Wulfrin's avatar. His health continued to deplete at an uncomfortable rate. Wulfrin himself was now in a danger zone of his own. His own health pool was approaching the red. The enemy opposition that Wulfrin faced was already seeing significant decline in numbers. The Hellhound rei -

"I think they're doing pretty well so far," Wulfrin said to himself as he continued to swat away boarlets that desperately tried to attack him. "Remember you each only need three each. The tranquilizers can help if you have an opening as they will immediately knock them unconscious." Pesky things stood no chance at that though. The downside was they were out pacing his battle healing, so at some point Wulfrin would likely have to clear the field. Not an ideal scenario, as it would actually slow them down, but at the very least it would allow him the chance to recover. Wulfrin had brought -

[SP-F09] The Bleeding Citadel | <<Gate Keeper of Fire>>
Wulfrin replied to Wulfrin's topic in Beginner Floors
Wulfrin struck the right most head for the last time as Cerberus, Inferno Rage let loose a mighty roar. The gat behind it was flung open revealing the expanse of Avernus beyond it. Three more Hellhounds made their way through as Wulfrin recovered from his Sword Art. Cerberus's flesh flared with a brighter intensity that Wulfrin merely scoffed at. The fireproof on his armor was going to negate any fire damage that would come his way, so unless the boss got his damage buffed, Wulfrin had nothing to worry about. The new Infernal Hellhounds approached Wulfrin. One of them managed to make use of Wu -

One head remined out of its target range, so it became the next target. Wulfrin's blade carved into the right head with similar precision to the previous heads. In between strikes Wulfrin eyed his health carefully. His own HP was approaching his personal danger zone of half. His left had drifted into the deep pockets of his armor and pulled out a small healing crystal that had been keeping stashed away for the raid. He had hoped not to dip into his stash, but he had no choice. Each attack from Cerberus, Inferno Rage was devastating enough to warrant extra caution. Wulfrin had chosen his loadou -

Wulfrin continued his intrricate ballet of sword play around Cerberus, Inferno Rage. His blade continued to dance across the hide of his infernal canine foe. Every strike continued to drop the health points of the middle head. Eventually its health bar hit the critical point. Wulfrin immediately ceased his assault as to avoid killing the middle head. In the post art freeze though, Wulfrin found himself improperly positioned. It didn't help that Cerberus was changing attack patterns. Wulfrin found himself getting pincer attacked by the middle and right heads both finding purchase in Wulfrin's d -

"Step one complete," Wulfrin mumbled through labored breaths as he readied another attack. "Just don't hit the leftmost head." Wulfrin had to change up tactics now. Each head was too large for him to AoE, not that he'd want to anyway. The added part of Cerberus, Inferno Rage being immune to stuns meant his go to attack would have to be the basic sword arts available to all players. Wulfrin focused in on the middle head. In his mind is was simple focus on one head at a time, and most importantly don't get hit. Wulfrin's blade carved through the flesh of Cerberus's middle head with ease, th -

Wulfrin was in full crowd control mode. His blade continuously alight with a sword art that was border line button mashing in a game with no buttons. Each strike was calculated though, as he needed to be precise with his attacks. The trick to getting the Sword Art he was after was to get each head of Cerberus, Inferno Rage down to about a quarter of its health bar without killing any of the heads. This last barrage of attacks from Wulfrin not only cleared the field of Infernal Hellhounds, but also brought the first of Cerberus's heads down to the proper level. Cerberus, now without its m -

Arriving at Cerberus's den and the change was significant. Cerberus has basically doubled in size and radiated a heat similar to that of Avernus, the hidden area beyond the gate he guarded. Wulfrin's blade stood at the ready as he approached. As wulfrin took the last step to enter the den proper, Cerberus let loose a mighty roar that shook the infernal cavern around him. Three additional beasts manifested in the wake of the mighty roar. In unison their health bars appeared revealing their upgraded names: Cerberus, Inferno's Rage and Infernal Hellhounds. Wulfrin noticed the heads were too large -
Returning to Floor 9, Wulfrin did his best to prepare for his dive into the hellish landscape of Avernus. The first obstacle in his path would be the rebirthed Cerberus. Though for Wulfrin that was less of an inconvenience. Cerberus's rebirth meant he could grab one of the few remaining sword arts he was missing. This one supposedly applied burn on a hit, and considering that the DoT version of the enhancements usually required precise swordplay that even Wulfrin couldn't nail 100% of the time. Having a guaranteed to proc option would increase his already expansive arsenal. Wulfrin's info on t

"Hey Night," Wulfrin mumbled as he entered the familiar shop on floor 1. The air grew heavy as he walked, the shadows of the evening seeming to cling to him as he walked in a half-alive state. "I need a favor. I picked up this trinket a while back and wanted to get it transferred into my main kit. Unfortunately the other two enhancements aren't really of use to me. I've been using one of your Dioscuri since I started and that is basically what I'm wanting to keep around." He placed on the counter a brooch, a Gleaming Scale, a Demonic Shard, and a handful of fish. He scrawled out some info

[BR-F28] Paving the Way to Floor 29 [Team 2: Freyd]
Wulfrin replied to Plot Master's topic in The Frontlines
Callisto’s hide shuddered with each impact of Wulfrin’s blade and the sequential follow up from his teammates. Freyd the ever stalwart defender rushed in, wreathed with the flames of a three headed gate guardian. A delayed dab from the Whisper reciprocated from their off tank Mac as their disgust at the boss regenerating hung in the air. Mac’s strike was well timed and placed in such a way that it sent Callisto into the same disoriented state Wulfrin had been keeping him in for the extent of the raid up to this point. Baldur was the next to follow up, their katana a light with a sword a -

Wulfrin replied to Wulfrin's topic in Beginner Floors
Wulfrin watched as the fledgling warriors took their first steps into the dangerous wilds of Aincrad. Like a silent mentor he observed each of the perspective players. Siren was first to move. With precision, her rapier (a finely crafted Sentinel Armaments original piece), pierced the first boar's flesh with ease. It burst into a shower of fractal lights, but just as quickly as it feel, another took its place. Astra moved next. His form was choppy, unrefined, and not unlike Wulfrin when he first started. He had expressed interest in becoming a DPS user like Wulfrin. If that were to be the -

<<Floor 22, Wulfrin's estate>> Wulfrin's mind was far too clouded for sleep. Diwali was a nice distraction for a time, but it had come and gone far too soon in his eyes. He lay in his bed staring up at his lakeside estate's ceiling. Sound asleep next to him was Ciela, his darling wife. Thoughts of countless possibilities flooded his already over active brain. Contingencies on contingencies. For the fifth time now, he attempted to induce sleep. *DING* A message alert chimed in his ears. With a few quick gestures, being careful not to wake his sleeping partner, Wulfrin -
<< Floor 22 | Sentinel Armaments >> Wulfrin was hard at work in his workshop when he got a message ping on his HUD. One of the newer players he had helped out, Astra, was requesting his presence for a bit of fishing. Looking at his stores of items, he could use a fishing trip that was more than just a handful of minutes while some newer players searched for materials. He looked over to his main bench where a freshly sharpened blade and set of light armor lay waiting. "Good a time as any to give it to him right?" Wulfrin asked out to no one in particular. "Perhaps giv
