[F01|SP] The Garden | <<Nature's Treasure: Little Eden>>
Nari-Lanreth replied to Nari-Lanreth's topic in Beginner Floors
This is going surprisingly well, all things considered. Nari pulled back as another fish soared onto the riverbank, landing beside the small collection that was quickly growing. The assortment of goods and pieces she was going to walk away with at the end of the day made her smile – successful, certainly, even if it had been frustrating to begin with. She could almost see the line of progress she’d made just over the past couple of hours, the line being sent out and pulled back in. Each time her successful casts becoming more and more of a normality. Much better than foraging had ever gone, I -

Nari-Lanreth replied to Nari-Lanreth's topic in Beginner Floors
Nari watched as the pair sauntered off, Nemo chattering away in sudden excitement at the question and interest casually thrown towards him. Onora seemed to listen with a distracted intent, her eyes continuously scanning the areas around her to make sure nothing approached that would be unwanted or dangerous. A habit that Nari was maintaining as well, both in her own vicinity and the path that Onora was taking away from her. A small measure of concern at the growing distance had welled up within Nari, and she found herself shifting on her spot in agitation. Calm yourself, you’re going to l -
"We could find you shomeone? Maybe not though... I don't -" Jevi did find someone though. Perhaps not a lover or someone to keep her bed warm like Mari was insinuating, but she found someone to spend time with. Connect with. Jevi wasn't feeling lonely, for once in a long time, and that's all she could ask for. Even if it was a bit too soon to call this woman her friend, at least, for tonight, they could act like it. For now, that was enough. "Well, I've used my name at least." "Hey, not my fault you're not good at the masquerade game." Jevi teased her. "Besides, I techni.

Nari-Lanreth replied to Nari-Lanreth's topic in Beginner Floors
’What are we going to have for dinner tonight?’ Onora glanced at the pile of fish that Nari had captured during her few moments of fishing, the question as much curious as it was rhetorical – Nari could pick up that much from the words and tone. She gave a small shrug, considering a sarcastic reply before remembering that it wasn’t necessary or even called for in this instance. ’I’m open to any ideas you might have. You’re the better cook than I am, anyways…so I’ll leave the decision and oversight to you – just let me know what needs to be done, yeah?’ It was a typical response that she g -
"You're mine" A flush of warmth traveled across his cheeks, contrary to the prickling coolness that traveled up his spine. His heart like a wild drum, beating in time with the song. Uncertain if it was the percussion, or his own heartbeat in his ears. Yet those whispered words still pierced the boom of the bass and the cacophony of conversations around them and melted his core. Lessa was matching his energy, and was doing it better. It was only after their lips separated did he try to take hold of the reins again.. though the soft touch of her lips made coherent thoughts impossible.

Nari-Lanreth replied to Nari-Lanreth's topic in Beginner Floors
The line snapped again in her hand, and whatever thoughts may have plagued her mind were broken away as Nari returned her attention to the task of fishing. A task that was becoming much, much easier as she remained seated and at work. She’d already collected far more than she had expected – though she would have been more content and excited if she’d managed to obtain the rare and required gleaming scales that could be peeled from the rainbow trout. In time and with patience, I’m sure I’ll get there…just like the shards I find when foraging for things. Though those are…less likely to appear co -
Reytac adjusted the collar of his shirt, loosening it slightly as he took in a deep breath. He had debated, going back and forth with himself, on whether or not he should attend the masquerade. He hadn’t gone to many large parties – attending the cookout how been the first time he’d seen more than a couple of Players together at the same time in over a year – but he finally convinced himself that he should go. Should remind himself that he wasn’t alone here – hells, that he even knew people again. And, it would be a chance to unwind and meet some new people, to reconnect with being human. He’d

[F01 - F09] <<Katana Skill Acquisition>> The Strength of The Blade
Alinta replied to Alinta's topic in Beginner Floors
Alinta watched Jack, how his gaze hovered over the large cooled magma walls that surrounded the city. Keeping it safe. A whisper of a floor boss, and she could see… there was a sort of fire that burned behind his gaze. A passion fueled determination that Alinta knew meant he was going to work toward the frontlines. Alinta didn’t like it, the thought of him dying to a boss. But…the frontliners had made it to floor 30…and the last few battles hadn’t had any deaths - at least not with the information she had gotten. Alinta pursed her lips. She should check the monument of life. Cross check each d -
In any other circumstance with people, Arbalest would find herself trying to open a locked door. The chain on the other side of the door is unreachable but it gives her enough to peer into, enough to at least see and greet. This time the door was open and a she was greeted with a smile. It caught her off guard very quickly. "Happy to see me at the top?" She questioned, barely giving time for the man to speak on assistance. "You don't even know me- Oh, but I guess we all benefit from someone standing atop floor, 100 huh?" As she thought more about it, it made more sense. He was bolstering

[F30-PP] In a land of edibles, what is a fish? {Jacob's Ladder}
Mari replied to Hirru's topic in Intermediate Floors
"Catch anything?" say "J-Jomei?" Mari asked, looking up from her fishing rod, she had just finished affixing a gummy fish to the hook. She was surprised to see him. "What are you doing here?" A question spoken from genuine surprise. Mari had expected him to go join Hirru, and whomever else was with him. "Why aren't you in the safe zone with the others?" A question stemmed from someone so used to doing things on her own. Being on her own. Even with the company of her husband. Mari glanced down to her right arm, still pink, still healing from being burned. Slowly, it dawned on her - her own -

Reytac had to hold back a snort at the self-compliment that Sinnamon used. The woman was definitely not lacking in confidence, and to be fair, it was deserved. A brief once over had shown enough to show that, even if he’d not let his gaze linger past that. Still, at least she knew she was purposefully choosing some pain for appearance, which.. Tracked with the women he’d known, she wasn’t the first. With a chuckle, he followed after her. ”Sourcing things does seem to be the roughest part of things. Whether that’s gathering Materials, which has often been the sticking point for me, or ge

Only having just sat down, Arbalest quickly found herself in the same feelings those amongst the dancers. When those feeling began to dissipate instead of being re-introduced to the plate of food that she so desperately desired was replaced with a lovely looking woman. As great as she looked, Arbalest herself was not in costume -- besides the mask of course -- and was so surprised by the sudden shift of her position. It was quickly making her sick despite her prior experience. "Ugh...Fuji was less nauseating than that-" She started complaining before noticing Bliss. "Oh. You're not the ho

This hadn't been her goal, she didn't come here for this, for him. Yet she found herself on the edge of his knife, ready to give in, yet horrified to do so. Everything within her warred against her flesh, but it was being drowned into a muffled ghost with every inch he claimed. This was dangerous, foolish. He would change her, her old self would die the moment he bridged the gap... if he did. She felt it, he was trembling, it hadn't been her imagination. She looked into his eyes once more, the question begged, Why? Why did he shake? What wound them so tightly? Why did she feel this way?! Her p

Acanthus cursed as Carsar took to the sky. Her first attack was not as clean as it could have been, and gave the dragon a chance to take flight. Reytac and Nari's strikes did not connect either, leaving the bloodied dragon ready to take its revenge. But how were they supposed to bring it back down? Carsar, despite his laughable HP and damage, was light in the air. He tested the party with a few diving swoops, and it became apparent he could retreat to the sky faster than they could follow. Without ranged weapons, they needed a creative solution. Acanthus tossed her weapons to the gro
