  1. "You're still like a fox to me." Vigilon didn't really care what Atzo said about himself. To Vigilon, Atzo was like a fox, and that was that. "Besides, aren't foxes canines too?" Vigilon decided to put opinions out of the conversation and return to why they were here. Vigilon started down the mountain and started searching.

    Let's roll, shall we!?

    Nothing at all. So far, at least. "Alright, to be honest, I'm starting to get sick of watching others succeed so easily, while I find nothing most of the time!" Vigilon continued walking, while looking for areas with possible places interesting enough to search. He also thought about a few things. "Wolf? Bah, he looks like one and claims to be one, but that doesn't change the truth, which I currently think is a fox. If I'm wrong, life or this game will prove me wrong. But back to the task at hand. I need ore if I'm going to forge anything."

  2. Vigilon found a seat and sat down, unsure of what will happen next. He saw yet another player he didn't know. "I better introduce myself soon." He believed he should wait for everyone else to get settled at least a little before introducing himself. Perhaps the next conversation might go smoothly. However, there was always the chance it would take a turn for the worse. "Hmm... If there is a chance for things to take a turn either for better or for worse, I should be prepared for either. Maybe there will be something I might need to know for future reference, or maybe it will be more grieving. Whatever it will be, I should be cautious on the subject." Vigilon waited for the next words, keeping the possible scenarios in mind. "Hmm... Some of them seem to recognize each other. It's obvious they know each other and their struggles in this virtual prison. Perhaps they're on the same side? Same Guild? Previous encounters?"

  3. Vigilon walked throughout the Town Of Beginnings, searching for the Npc Alchemist known as Zachariah, known for helping new players start off in SAO. He wondered about the possibilities of what he will be doing with the Npc mentor. As he looked around the immense town, he realized he didn't have a map. "Dang, all this time and I don't have a map? Should have gotten one, would have made my search much easier." Vigilon hoped that he wouldn't be tangling with anything he couldn't handle. After all, he preferred not to pick fights he couldn't win. "Perhaps this quest was for literally anyone and everyone. At least, that's what I hope for the time being. Last time I heard, Zachariah was this way. No, wait, was it this way? Great. I'm lost. Better ask for directions." Once he was going the right direction, he knew he should get himself a way of navigation sometime, if not soon.

  4. As Vigilon walked, he thought about what to feed it. Never mind, he couldn't possibly feed a monster without food in his inventory. Disappointed, he began looking for food vendors in the area. No luck, must be the snow. What should he do? Where could he find food for a monster? "Hmm... Perhaps there's a restaurant nearby... I should see how much col I have. 533? This won't get me much. Now what?" He looked around, saw something on the ground, picked it up and stashed it in his inventory. What he would do with it was a mystery to him, as long as he was on this floor. He decided to look around for anything else before setting off.

    Let's roll, shall we!?

    Nothing. "Must be all the snow. Which direction should I go? Should I leave the safe zone at all? Will I ever find a good companion?" Vigilon continued to think out loud as he slowly walked towards the edge of the safe zone.

  5. When Vigilon heard Atzo's words, he turned his eyes to the side and gritted his teeth. "Dang! Wha-? How? Impossible! There was no possible way he could read my thoughts! Unless he read my actions, words, and face...Hmm...." Vigilon knew his secret was out, he just couldn't believe it happened so fast. Back in the real world, it normally took a day or two at least for someone to realize he didn't trust them, assuming Vigilon didn't trust them. He remembered a time when he was younger, when he read small stories that personified animals. One that often stood out in his mind was sly, cunning, almost impossible to see through... At last, Vigilon found something that was a lot like this Atzo(to Vigilon, of course), and although it wasn't his original goal to figure that out, he was content with having this related knowledge in mind... Vigilon turned to Atzo and returned to a still face, then said, "Well, look who's sly as a Fox! That's actually the fastest amount of time it took for any of those I didn't trust to figure it out! But you are wrong on one aspect. I don't trust you, but I also trust you slightly, at the same time."

    @Itzal

  6. Vigilon started his trip by exploring and acquainting himself with the Town of Snowfrost. "'Looking for a companion?', he said, 'I dare you to search in Floor 4!', he said. Where am I supposed to go In this place for a friend in which the trip won't kill me!?!?" Vigilon decided that whenever he wasn't in danger, he could gather materials. Either way, he had to find a way to find one. But how? He decided to look around and ask around. Soon, an Npc came to him, saw that he was having a hard time, and spoke to him. "Are you unwell?" "Actually, I hope to find a familiar. But I don't even know how to find one." "Oh, you seek companionship! Well, there is a way. If you feed a monster, you have a chance at taming the gruesome beast. It isn't easy, but should you succeed, it can help you out, travel with you, and befriend you!" "A monster? Crap. Looks like I'm not getting off this one easily..." the Npc bid Vigilon farewell, and the next problem for Vigilon sunk in.

    @Beatbox @Sey

  7. Vigilon decided to search again while he thought about how he would strike.

    Let's roll, shall we!?

    Nothing. Just his luck in finding mats so far. "Exactly why is this happening specifically to me? Everyone else makes it look so EASY!!!" He looked back at the fight going on. Perhaps he should just jump in. No, not yet. He had to find an opening in which he could strike the enemy, and help the player that saved him. He had to do something about this. This meadow was large, but Vigilon didn't see too many monsters when he looked around and had a visual on the area. After all, this part of the meadow was fairly close to the Town of Beginnings, which was still in the distance. Vigilon now paid close attention to the fight going on. He knew he had to strike sometime, but not yet. Soon. Very soon, he would have to strike.

  8. When the new player intercepted, The two Boar charged for him instead of Vigilon. Before they charged, the Boar Vigilon had previously faced gave him a look as if to say, "I'll deal with you later, I guess, but don't get cocky. I'll be back for you." While the two Boar were distracted, Vigilon turned back around to return to what he was previously doing.

    OOC: Gathering mats so you can gather hate ;)

    Turns out, there was nothing in the jagged rock after all. Vigilon decided to wait for now, and see if he should continue gathering, or fight alongside this other player. Clearly the player seemed to have saved his life, but for what purpose? Vigilon was occasionally confused in chaotic situations, and this was pretty close. Vigilon paid close attention to the fight, thinking about when he should strike. "If I can just see how the Boar move, since I'm not trying to avoid them at the moment, I can strike them without worrying about missing all the time." Vigilon prepared to put his thought into action.

  9. Vigilon began to feel like he was being watched. As he walked on, that feeling only got stronger. When he finally turned around he noticed a Boar with a familiar look in it's eyes. "Not you again!" Vigilon was surprised to see that this boar had survived to this point, and he hoped that he wouldn't have to tangle with it this time. The Boar came close. The monster let out an unfamiliar squeal, and another boar was on it's way. "Figures, it brought backup this time." Vigilon backed away slowly from the two, knowing he couldn't possibly take them both on alone. "Ah, is there anyone around...? Umm... Okay, so, you brought backup this time. guess I can't escape at the moment..." "Why did this have to happen today?" Vigilon continued to back away, hoping to not have to deal with the two Boar. He began thinking of how he would proceed in this situation.

    @Stryder

  10. Vigilon looked outside the Town of Beginnings, remembering the two embarrassing encounters with a single Boar. "Guess I can look for materials outside for a bit. If that same stupid Boar comes back for me, I'll be ready this time." Vigilon was hopeful and confident for today's search. He thought about if he really was to get a familiar, where could he get one? Where could he befriend a mini-dragon? He also wondered if he would ever join or make a Guild. Perhaps that will be for another day. Right now, he needed to find materials. Specifically for practice. As he walked, he wondered if he would find anything else in the meadow. "If I encounter someone, I better be ready. I can't die out here, so I should run again if things get too ugly." However, Vigilon's plan for the day was yet to be a minor catastrophe, for there was a Boar, yes that same boar was keeping an eye on Vigilon, and waited for the moment to charge. Meanwhile, Vigilon was ready to scour a tiny section of the meadow.

    @Stryder

  11. "Someone was murdered in a duel?" The very thought confused Vigilon in a minor way. Then again, it was possible. "To be honest, if it was up to me and I was strong enough, I'd probably bring the murderer to justice, then face repentance to keep my name clean. Ah, sorry, I've kinda been a vigilante in various games. I'm used to avenging someone every now and then..." Upon hearing Shield ask about a better place to have this conversation, he admitted, "My apologies, but I haven't the foggiest idea..." Vigilon felt sympathetic for Piera. To know someone for a while, and then that person gets murdered... Such a thing would be unbearable to Vigilon. He waited for a response, and tried to shake off the horrible thoughts about good friends getting murdered. He looked back at Shield. "Just some survival for a long while, and tanks look THAT fierce?!?" Vigilon had to admit, even to himself, Shield was slightly intimidating at the very least.

  12. Vigilon walked across the town of beginnings. Night was approaching. He wasn't in the mood to sleep, so he began to explore what the first floor held during the night. However, he kept his eyes wide open, treading with caution in case he walked out of the safe zone accidentally. He soon found himself inside the room of resurrection, and he looked left and right, trying to see where he was at the moment. "So this is the room of resurrection... Looks more like an indoor cemetery." As he explored, he saw the many names of the living and deceased. He walked over to one stone and saw his own name. Creepy. He stepped back and continued looking around, disliking the dreary air in the place. He heard echoes of someone crying, and wondered if someone was paying their respects to someone they knew. He laid eyes on two players, and walked over to them. "Hey, are you all right?"

  13. Vigilon was encouraged by Itzal's action, although he was tired of how Itzal made it look so easy while Vigilon struggled to find a single herb or ingot, with little success. When Atzo asked him if something was bugging him he responded with, "Not really, I'm fine. No need to worry about me." If he was to keep the fact that he still had yet to trust Atzo a secret, he would have to develop some kind of poker face to avoid suspicion. He still had an unanswered question in his head. It was practically a private discussion in there. "So? Is he trustworthy or not? ...There's too little information, I still can't decide..." As his right and left sides of his brain debated on trust, Vigilon attempted to keep a still face, hoping to remain without suspicion. "Would I be better off with a Guild, or will I remain primarily solo?" He stored this thought in his head, and awaited the next words.

    @Itzal

  14. Vigilon walked across town, thinking about what he should do and his current position. "Hmm... As much as I'm not likely to do this, it looks like I don't have many options when it comes to allies I can trust." He began writing the following request for the bulletin board. "Anyone level 3 or under is welcome to train, gather materials, quest, etc. with me, as long as what you have in mind is within reason. If you wish to do this, meet me at the bench at the center of the Town Of Beginnings." Vigilon began walking towards where he and any player who would answer will meet. "I hope I didn't do anything stupid just now." he thought. Work with his decision now, regret things later, was his next thought. "The next questions are, who will I meet? What will we do?" Vigilon continued to dwell on the possible scenarios.

  15. "A Blacksmith." After looking at the three headed wolf, he thought, "That's it, I gotta get my own companion" Heck, everyone he met so far seemed to have a companion, so why wouldn't Vigilon want to get his hands on his own mini-dragon? When he heard Itzal ask if he could lead him to a safe place to seek out materials, he was up for it. "I guess. It kinda depends on if I can find ore there." Vigilon began wondering about what he should call his shop. "Any other questions before we should go?" Vigilon thought about what he should do if something went wrong, like if he ended up within some kind of trap, or if the place wasn't void of monsters after all. He certainly trusted Itzal to a pretty good extent. He still had to think about Atzo, however. But how to figure him out... Currently, however, that was out of the question.

    @Itzal

  16. Vigilon put his plan into action, hoping to succeed.

    Let's roll, shall we!?

    Vigilon jumped on the beast. The Boar was infuriated and threw Vigilon off his back, and Vigilon landed in the safe zone. On his face. Enough was enough. Vigilon left for the center of town. He had enough of Boars for today. "Phew! that could have been nasty!" He looked at the time, and decided to end his search. He had a few materials, so it was good enough practice for him. "I've had enough for today. maybe I'll look at the available quests, and see which ones I'll be doing." As he walked, he kept pushing the following thought into his mind. "Always make sure to see where you're searching. Always make sure to see where you're searching. Always make sure to see where you're searching." He decided to take a break and relax for a bit. His adventures and shenanigans in SAO weren't over yet, but a little relaxation wouldn't hurt. He decided, should it exist in this game, that he deserved a slice or two of Pizza after his long morning.

    Vigilon tripped, and hoped he could get away next time. The Boar trampled him, and stood in his way towards the town. "I'm through with this crap. I'm leaving the battle, moron. Don't try and stop me."The Boar snorted, and stared at him as if to say, "I'm not supposed to let you leave, idiot." Vigilon saw the desperate situation he was in, and he wished that he had remained in town. "This is ridiculous. Why is this even happening?" "Perhaps if I jump on top of the boar and jump off, I'll have a clear path of escape. I should proceed carefully, so that I don't end up in a worse situation. But when to do this action? a minute, maybe, but I have to do it fast." The Boar squealed, and prepared to attack. "It's now or never, I guess..." Vigilon Prepared himself to run.

    Vigilon tripped and fell, while the Boar, aiming for his head, ended up leaping right over him. Vigilon, frustrated, stood up, thinking, "Well, at least he didn't hit me in the head this time." The Boar stopped itself before it could hit the wall. Vigilon stared at it, trying to guess it's next move. However, he needed a breather before he could attack again. The Boar turned, ready to face Vigilon. Vigilon backed up a little, so that he could try to avoid the Boar's attack. Perhaps running off wasn't such a bad idea after all. Vigilon considered his options. "Well, I'm in a bit of a pinch here. What should I do?" Vigilon looked at the Boar, and began to prepare for the worst, since his luck might drop even lower than right now. Vigilon stepped back even further, towards the town entrance, and decided to flee.

    Vigilon's sword got caught in lock with the Boar's tusks, but after a few seconds, he pulled his sword out of lock after grabbing one of the tusks with his left hand. He threw the Boar to the side, causing it to tumble and stumble. "Serves you right." Vigilon kept a close eye on the Boar, waiting patiently for it to come back charging. The Boar snorted, squealed, and was practically having a temper-tantrum as it rushed towards Vigilon. "Oh wow... That boar looks pissed!" Vigilon smiled and said, "Ready for me to finish you? You've come to the right place!" "My sword!" The Boar continued charging, and Vigilon waited for the right moment to evade and strike. "That's right... Come straight for your doom..." Vigilon got into position. The Boar squealed loudly, Vigilon was prepared.

    Instead of a simple charge like Vigilon assumed, the Boar jumped at his head. Vigilon suffered from getting rammed at the head, and got his sword stuck between the bricks in the wall. "Argh!! Wha-? Dang! Grrr....Why, how-did-this-happen!?" He got the Boar off of him, but now he had to get his sword out of the wall. "Perhaps I'm not so lucky after all." he thought. The Boar looked at him as if to say, "Ha! In your face! Who's your daddy now, stupid player?" Vigilon, now most certainly provoked, got his sword out after listening to mock squeals for three minutes. "IS HE LAUGHING AT ME!?" "THAT'S ENOUGH. YOU'RE IN FOR IT, PIG!!!" Vigilon put on an intimidating face, and began to rush at the Boar that mocked him for his poor luck during that moment.

    Vigilon dodged the attack, and the Boar ran into a wall. "This is my chance!" Vigilon stabbed the Boar in the belly while it was dizzy, and the monster Squealed pretty loudly. "Ha! Take that! How do you like me now?" Vigilon hoped his luck would be the same for the remainder of the fight, but he was still unsure of the possible results. The Boar shook itself off, turned to Vigilon, glared at him with hateful eyes, as if to say, "I'm done playing with you. Now you die." Vigilon, unafraid, smiled at his current progress. "Come at me, and we'll see who comes out on top!" The Boar squealed loudly, and rushed toward Vigilon, hoping to hit him this time. Vigilon smiled, knowing that he taunted the Boar into a rage.

    The Boar tried a different tactic this time. It went for the legs. Vigilon was struck in what he knew was the soft spot of his legs. He retaliated with making a cut on the Boar's back. Vigilon was not technically in extreme pain, but it was still annoying to be rammed there. "Argh! So what, I'm still hitting you at least! If I figure out how to dodge all your attacks, you're as good as dead! I'm not dying today, and I'm not going to look like an idiot either! You will die, or I will escape after dealing more damage than last time! You hear me!?" The Boar was oblivious to Vigilon's yelling. In fact, it only had one goal in mind. Killing. Vigilon didn't care his voice wasn't heard. He just had to get this off his mind.

    Vigilon struck the Boar in the back, near the shoulder. The Boar retaliated by ramming him in the chest as usual. "Argh... Is that all you got? come at me!" Certainly, Vigilon pissed off the Boar. The monster squealed and snorted, then took an offensive position. "If I can just get the timing right, I can dodge that thing's attack and retaliate with ease." Vigilon thought. He would have to stand his ground for now. if things got too ugly, he would have to flee again. Perhaps if he considered his moves correctly, he might actually kill this Boar. Encouraged by his current progress of attack, Vigilon prepared himself for the Boar's worst. "Well? What are you waiting for? Come at me, will you!?" Let's roll, shall we!?

    He found an herb growing on the grass, all alone. "Guess there's plenty to be found in this meadow, to new players, at least. WAIT. MEADOW!?!?" He looked around. In front of him, he saw a Boar with a look on it's face, as if to say, "Back for a rematch, chump?" "Figures. It's the same one." Vigilon knew he wasn't getting out of this one easily. He readied his sword, a tight grip on it this time. He began thinking of how he would fend off the Boar's attack, and then strike back. He waited for the Boar to make a move. "Remain focused."

  25. Vigilon looked around for a place where he could search. He soon found a good place to start looking.

    Let's roll, shall we!?

    There was nothing of interest or value. As he continued his search, he looked around town, trying to find places he could go later on. One problem though, it would take almost a day to have looked and memorized a good amount of the town. He began to believe that training for DPS was harder than he thought, and practicing scouting was slightly easier. Nevertheless, he decided to have DPS as his main build. The question was, how would he do this? Which skills would he prefer to use? As Vigilon dwelled on this, he began looking for flowerbeds with more variety. "I gotta find something sometime... I can't go on like this... I have to find more materials..." He would need to find materials for his future profession soon, ingots, or perhaps ore.
