[BR-F28] Paving the Way to Floor 29 [Team 3: Alkor]
Koga replied to Plot Master's topic in The Frontlines
The enemy coiled, in a way that only a lumbering mass of a meat and muscle and fury could. Thirsty, for blood and vengeance, every step it took made the ground rumble, the air itself became pregnant with malicious intent. Callisto would not be deprived for much longer. Even with the party returned to almost full strength, they were still in mortal danger. Alk was in no condition to fight. Not now, whatever visions he'd seen leaving him still stunned. Oscar, Astralin, Morningstar, Katoka, every Frontliner kept up their attacks, trusting that their tanks and healers would have their backs. -

Astra replied to Wulfrin's topic in Beginner Floors
Naturally like any good quest, there was a part two. Of course the fatigued alchemist Zackariah didn't have Dorian's money, but that was no sweat to Astra. This was still just the start of his journey, and any hurdles were to be expected. Astra followed his companions as they walked through the Town of Beginnings to Lyle's forge, watching an influx of players and NPC's alike as they passed him by. As they crossed through the entrance to the forge, the sound of clanging metal filled Astra's ears. Astra looked towards Wulfrin, as he was leading the charge into the shop, and could hardly be - Today

[PP-PT-F01] [ASSIST] Debt Collecting...Again <<The First Few Lessons>>
Wulfrin replied to Wulfrin's topic in Beginner Floors
"Lyle," Wulfrin pinched the bridge of his nose and looked towards the ground in annoyance. "Right. Part two. Let me save you some time with this one." Wulfrin was not pleased having to return to the rude smith, but as a necessary evil to overcome, Wulfrin begrudged led the group to the smith's shop across the Town of Beginnings from Zack's. The smith was hard at work striking a piece of metal of sorts. As Wulfrin crossed the threshold, his form shifted as the shadows of the dimly lit interior engulfed him before slowly retreating. Before the trio stood another Astra. Wulfrin had been stud -

[PP-21-PT] A Measure of Mettle <<Betrayal of the King>>
Freyd replied to Freyd's topic in Intermediate Floors
Freyd took in Ty's response with little more than a curious raising of his left eyebrow. There was no right answer. Everyone picked up something different. The point was to be able to answer with any kind of insight at all, otherwise, he'd have just taken a beating for no reason. Sheathing his blade, the Whisper returned to his ward's side, seemingly content. Their goals had been achieved, and she'd be stronger for it the moment they left this frigid, stagnant hall. "As long as you learned something," he merely replied with a smile, dusting off dregs of old mob dust from his armor. -

Freyd replied to Plot Master's topic in The Frontlines
"We're holding our ground and keeping a good pace at the same time," Freyd replied, grateful to Baldur for a moment's respite. "This bear seems to have my number, but as long as I can keep soaking up its damage without other ill effect, that lets the rest of you do what you need." Wulfrin had already charged forward, dutifully resuming his assigned task, and the rest of the team quickly rallied behind. "Looks like the other groups have also recovered. I'm not sure if there's more to this thing or not, or if we're simply meant to endure and wear it down while keeping our fingers crossed -

[F1-SP] Days into Nights <<The First Few Lessons>>
Wildfire replied to Wildfire's topic in Beginner Floors
Bending over Echo begins to take a look at the latch and lock. I guess I have to find a way to open it. I don’t think I have a skill but I can give it a go Echo attempts to open the lock. It clicks a few times as they get their positioning wrong. Then with one good attempt the chest clicks open. Okay so that is the hard part let's see what we have inside. Opening the chest they are stuck marveling for a moment as multiple items enter their inventory at once. Okay so the game has an idea of what you are probably going to want then when you open chests like this. I have consistently gone with po -

Wildfire replied to Wildfire's topic in Beginner Floors
Echo walks out of the shop and through the town. It is still dark out. Better that way I think, I don’t really like having to push through crowds. The rhythmic pattering of leather boots on the cobblestone turned from harsh to soft as Echo reached the end of the town. You know before I go too crazy with the boars I have heard that there are treasure chests around. I bet that I might be able to find something useful if I can find one. They walk to the edge of a small clearing, it seems to have an indent out of it that leads to one of the more wooded sections of the floor. Taking their time they -

Wildfire replied to Wildfire's topic in Beginner Floors
Echo walks through the silent town towards one of many blacksmith shops. I wonder if they will be open or if I will be in need of waiting. I guess if worse comes to worse I can make my way out and keep looking for materials. I don’t want to get too far away from the safe-zone though, I want to be here as early as possible. Who knows how long this quest will last. To their pleasant surprise, there was the pleasant sound of hammer on steel as Echo approached Lyle Tealeaf’s blacksmith shop. I could listen to that sound for ages, I wish we had shops like this back at college. I can imagine th -

Wildfire replied to Wildfire's topic in Beginner Floors
Fire burns in the hearth, small but with ferocity. It illuminates the homely room, a brown rug adorns the otherwise carpeted floor, a small round table, just big enough to sit four with a white doily on it. A lone figure sits in the armchair in the back corner…. It was my grandfather's favorite chair Echo thinks to themself as they sink into the plush and well used cushions. No sound stirs in the house, safe for the crackling of that small fire. I should go check on them Echo thinks as they try to stand. They go to adjust the position of their arm and find that it is stuck, but it is more than -
[BR-F28] Paving the Way to Floor 29 [Team 4: Jomei]
Jomei replied to Plot Master's topic in The Frontlines
A sickly, purple bile seeped from the corners of Callisto's maw as its tongue lapped at its oversized claws. Jomei's head cocked to the side curiously, though his defense never dropped, watching what appeared to be a wounded animal tending to its paw. When he finally noticed that the sizzling, discolored saliva had been coating the rotten claws, it was already too late. The bear rushed forth at Jomei, ignoring the rest of his squad. The ginger attempted to dodge out of the way, but Callisto anticipated the player's movements. Jomei was left ravaged by the attack, bright red gash marks on one s -
