Y'know, if I was a PKer... Now would be the perfect time to go nuts. The frontliners are all in the dungeon/fighting the boss. The strongest players are not around to stop stuff from going down!

I'm just going to go ahead and whine about it now rather than let it eat me up from inside. I apologize for my words ahead of time, I just need to rant and rave for a bit and get it out of my system. Feel free to ignore me if you'd like.
Why does Zero get a unique skill when nobody else does? And as a direct result, I don't care temporary or not, why does Zelrius?
This is a system which is not released to the public, and checking the rumors in the actual broker thread where unique skills are discovered, none of them are related to the Darkness Blade. The only one that remotely suits the bill is the field boss Snow Beast, but that rumor was for Essence of Steel and nothing else. I don't see one justifiable reason for either players to be able to use the skills. They can have them, sure, but until the systems are finalized and released I don't think they should be usable.
This is the equivalent of the mods making use of the tier 2 materials a month before its released to the public because they have the main points roughed out. I'd also like to point out the unique skill that's listed in both Zero's journal and signature isn't Darkness Blade but Coordinated Edge. So I ask a second time, why does Zero, if any mod, get this unique skill ahead of time and is able to pass it on to other players?

Oh, absolutely. I'm never ever the "leave me alone" type of ranter. I vastly prefer to be fully understood opposed to anything else :D Even if not agreed with necessarily.
It started around the time I was made aware that you were borrowing a unique skill, something which had at around the same time been promised to other players. Now, saying this straight up, no I am not upset that unique skills are delayed and in fact I understand why it would be and feel no ill will towards this. That said, at the time I was upset that, from my perspective, you as a 'regular' player were being granted a power that 'was not available to others'. Not darkness blade specifically, but unique skills in general. It felt like poor timing at best and unfair advantage immediately before a boss at worst. I leaned to the former :P That along with the fact it was being leveled up, sounding like something that shouldn't be happening because it is being updated and so none of its features, levels included, were final. Basically such feelings flowed and brewed but was being ignored and sealed up until now, buuuut if I am perfectly honest seeing "Darkness Blade" in your event boss list was the final breaking point. Nothing personal to you of course, nor zero, it's about what had been happening, not the people involved. :P
tl;dr I got a bit miffed seeing Darkness Blade going around and so I decided to say publicly how it made me feel instead of wanting to say it and not.

Ooh~! hard mode enabled! Tell me, does that negative mitigation mean being damaged does MORE damage to me?
Pity there is no pickpocket skill, we'd have some Oblivion enchanted armor pickpocket situations. Spoiler: Enchanting your gauntlets with fire doesn't let you do fire damage unarmed in that game.

So, uh, quick question. SP, if a quest is worth more now than when I did it can I add that SP to my current total? Or is it lost to the abyss?

Kalesh if your threads are locked, you remain with those rewards, including the SP rewards. You don't have to redo nothing as they were checked and valid at the time you did them.
The same thing applied to all the players after the SA update when the quests were revamped. All that is written as a reward at the end of a locked thread, SP wise, doesn't change. I would've apreciated you PMing a staff member about this instead of posting it as a status update. To reduce the posibility of being feed false information.

Ever just get the sudden urge to totally change the weapons your character uses, but you've already invested SP that you can't get back in another weapon, even if it is only two SP?
I have and am having that mental debate of keeping the old or going into the new currently.

My (planned) build isn't really tank, or canon. 2thorns, 2 damage, 1 bleed, and not sure what to do with the rest, if I am honest.
I could go heavy momentum which doesn't seem too worth it, or I could maybe steal something from the light armor group. Regen I dunno about since the description is vague, but I could get evasion and still have room for some mitigation too :P

Alrighty, pending approval of the thread my IC excuse for Kalesh being missing for this many months will be done and he'll actually exist again.
That said I'm not RPing with anybody outside a safezone until the PK rules edited (as Mack says they are being). Or you are somehow able to convince a PST or GM to contractually obligate the two of us to not stab each other in that RP. Not because I don't trust you guys, but because I don't know what the new rules are going to be and what loopholes might occur mid-RP as a result. Once I do know I'll be able to make that decision and not be uninformed. I'm fine with taking risks, I just am not fine with not actually knowing the risks.
I shall unleash my full fury once this passes <3

I have an inventory question.
You know how in MMO you can stack consumables? Is that the case here? What is the limit number-wise?
e.g. I have five food items that regenerate energy of the same quality, three healing crystals of the same quality, and seven performer songs of the same type and quality.
Do these take up one spot in our "at ready" inventory or are we going on the idea that each item individually takes up one slot?

Sure, that all sounds good as long as it's clear that I'm not gonna be sitting right next to you or something when approaching the water. A trait of Kalesh is that he is a very suspicious person, so he'll probably be a bit off to the side to ensure a swift blade swing won't send his head rolling or somesuch. He's not anti-social or a loner, just untrusting. I'll start us off if that all sounds good!

Do you think we are hollow inside?
And no, that's not some existential question, I mean literally, do you think that on the inside of our characters we are actually hollow like in games where if you put the camera somewhere you are not supposed to see like inside a skull it's just empty with no textures except maybe the eyes and teeth?
