Not sure they do, I mean, there isn't a lot of arguing room with the statement "You are NOTE SAFE" and "other players may attack you if they so wish". Kinda seems like it's pretty spelled out.

Where's it say they need an in character reason? The only thing I can find is that there needs to be clear indication of harmful intent in open threads, but this wasn't an open thread.

I'd just like to announce that although the majority of my characters have been killed, I wont be leaving the site. However, I think their is definitely an issue that needs to be adressed, something that was at the forefront of discussion back when Dom and Zelrius died. People who have been members of the site and have been working on their characters for years can lose it all because someone wants to have an IC freak out.

I really think they should allow that thing that people were talking about before. If someone's IC dies they can make a new character but they start at a higher level. Not exactly at level 1. I mean for me.. I've been here or more than a month now, but I've only gotten to 11.

Sounds like a pretty legit idea at this point.

Joking aside I'd be more up for an SP reset just so I don't have to someday fall on my dagger because I put points in the wrong skill or something silly.

Things seemed to have been going incredibly well and then a few key damage dealers missed. It was quite likely that if even one of the two who had missed had managed to land a hit, that this entire fight would be over. By that same logic, if she even tried to hit it she was going to miss. IF Manta couldnt hit that thing, with all of her enhancements and mods, Ebony didnt stand a chance. She would stand back and just let the others do their thing. Vote here on what you'd like regarding a respec system.

I'm just curious about what others think of the sword arts system, in relation to my own thoughts.
I just feel like many of the weapon options are dumbed down versions of other weapons. Take the Rapier and Dagger for example. Just looking at the rapier, its larger, with better range, and due to it's size it should have more power behind it than a tiny dagger.
Lets ignore that last point though, as this is a videogame and it might not work exactly the same as they do in real life. Dagger gets a 4x4, or the equivalent of a 16x1, whereas Rapier gets a 13x1. What's the difference? Not much really. Rapier just gets a few rank 2 stuns and the possibility of getting a 5x1 AOE if you invest 13 points into Martial arts. However, dagger gets a 6x1 stun move with martial arts. So, like I said, incredibly similar. Still, dagger ends up on top somehow with a 4x4. (Or 4 stabs/slices that hit with 4 times the normal force). It just doesnt make sense to me.

Ebony walked up to the place where the event was supposed to be happening. It seemed like a whole bunch of people had already gathered, most of whom she recognized. She didn't see anyone who wasn't a frontliner, making her wonder if the system had sent the message only to the top players in the game. She adjusted the unique quality glove on her hand, wondering whether or not to loan it to Zandra for this fight so that she could go full DPS in hopes of getting the last hit prize...

Ebony smiled and set up her own side of the trade, tapping the accept button. Now she finally had a leg up on the other supports, if only for a short while. She nodded to Ariel. "Thank you. The look doesnt really fit my style, but the effect certainly does." She replied to her, slipping the glove on before exiting the shop, wondering if she'd be able to find a party to scout the fourteenth floor, or if the parties had already been created and set out. -

Ebony wandered into the tailors shop, her hand holding onto the necklace that she had received from the Christmas boss. She had recently changed her mind pertaining to a deal that she had planned to have with Lowenthal. Now she thought that she might be able to trade it for the item that Ariel had received in the Christmas boss fight. She walked up to the counter and placed the item on the counter. "Hey Ariel, I was wondering if you'd be up for trading that item you got from the boss for this?" She asked, removing her hand. Shining Icicle, Accessory Trinket, +3 Loot Dice, +1 Prosperity -
The boss battle seemed to be drawing to a close. The bosses health was already quite low, and the group didnt even include Zelrius. Still, if this bosses rewards worked like the other bosses had, she might as well pull out her banner of support and heal the people in her group. She did just that, ringing out the anner from her at the ready inventory, and planted it on the ground in front of her. The red color on the banner gradually shifted to grey as the people around her were healed. Now it was just up to Manta to finish the boss off. Used 'Banner of Support': 2/3 Charges left Klau

Ebony slowly walked into the room after Calrex, wondering why a support like her was one of the first to enter. She didnt get much time to think before the boss showed up, stomping the ground and causing her body to be encased with ice. It looked like the same thing had happened to everyone else as well. Everyone appeared to have been damaged, and her, a healer, couldnt do a thing about it, stuck as she was. There was dome good news at least. It was almost time for the boss battle to start. That is, if you called two days almost. It wasnt that long of a time though, at least in her opinion. Ebony sat down on the ground a good ways from the entrance, listening to the ticking of the clock as she went through the items in her inventory. She glanced over her potions. She had a good number of mitigation potions, but those wouldnt be any use once the fight actually started. She pulled out the perfect one that she had bought from Zandra a while back and drank it down. Hopefully she would have enough mitigation to survive this now. She sti

Of course, Ebony couldn't pass up this chance to possibly earn special items. And she had a better chance than most. She glanced over the sign in sheet, seeing who had signed up so far. Zandra hadn't signed up yet, but Shizuka had. That shouldnt be too much of a problem. All Ebony needed to do was heal more than she did. Without Zandra there, Ebony felt that she had a pretty good chance to earn herself an item. She wrote her name in her regular, messy handwriting before leaving.

I dont know of any active Imps. There are 4 active Cait Sith and 2 active Spriggans. 1 Active Sylph, 1 active Undine, and 1 active leprechaun (Soon to be two)

Ebony entered Zandra's shop, feeling more than slightly greedy. She had a good deal of col, and was planning to buy some health crystals, both for herself and Manta. Manta was a pretty bad alchemist, so she rarely made any good items. Actually, good items were pretty much all that she made.
