Despite the blows that they were landing, Reytac could see when the monkey's attention turned back to Sewallus. The guard captain was drawing too much of the aggro - but Reytac was not on with seeing anyone die today. He saw the ape start to rise up to its feet, shaking off the stun as it focused on the elf again. Rey could see its form flickering, and it looked like some of its thick fur had been shorn away by Sewallus. That was - good. It gave him just that much more of an opening. The beast turned away from him, its ponderous head turning faster than it had any right to as Rey moved again.
