This truly has turned into LH. XD Not complaining though. Im a big fan of strategy, and group fighting and farming has a lot of that.

Also note to everyone - AoE farming is going to be a thing of the past. With mob HP going up, you're gonna need to form groups if you want to farm. Materials are about to get a lot harder to come by!

That means the merchant gonna get ALOT more customers :)

@Hirru yup, I still have the mechanics for the fencing tournament somewhere around. Last time I didn't do it because just a couple of people we're on board with the idea. For those interested on how it works I'll look for the thread and link it here on a later reply.

Basically it still depended on rolls but instead of damage you gained point by hitting a certain body part.. the first to reach X amount of points wins the 'duel'.

Though it is still dice dependant, people can't one shot each other. Example: the duel I had with Cal to test the mechanics we were almost even in score despite him having higher... almost everything except damage.

yeah that one. People didn't get it that one can use any kind of item (weapons in this case) in the game. The only downfall was that you didn't get to use the weapon's SAs if you didn't invest in the skill. In this case native 1 handed users had a +2 points advantage but basically everybody could join as damage is irrelevant in this 'duel' style.

I'm open to ideas in how to improve the fencing concept:D

I've mostly stayed away from the LN so far so that I could enjoy it at my own pace whenever it came to anime or manga, though I know most of the beats so far.

But you gotta admit Alicization Arc beats previous arcs in SAO as Reki's writing style has improved significantly since the initial Aincrad Arc and I like the chemistry interactions between Kirito and Asuna in the Progressive series... so far (I'm at the middle of vol. 3)

I'm in the middle of volume 2 I think? Shortly after killing the spider queen and visiting the village again.

To me, however, it's been less about the quality of the characters or the storytelling and more about the setting.

Yea, they did it that way so that low levels could catch up with high levels faster. It really only works if you're in a group of 2 maybe.

Bleed, statistically, isn't worth it. Straight +DMG will deal more.

Thorns is good for protracted fights, or whittling away something with high MIT (such as boss fights) but not really for trash, since the number of mobs we can spawn is limited for 4 per player.

In 99% of the encounters, a straight +3 DMG/+3 ACC/+3 MIT is going to be your most effective item set regardless of character type or build. Once you have some +ACC from other sources, you can start to fill in other enhancements for flavor.

my max damage is 22 without buffs baldur, trust me bleed will deal more damage

I think it's only for certain quests though. There are some with larger team caps or others with no cap at all-

There are a handful with no caps, but I've been looking through a lot of them and there are very few that are actually good for a team.
