Kityuisa

The weather, being mildly sunny with only a few clouds in sight gave the terrain around Kityuisa a certain glowing warmth. The scenic display of the grassy and rocky outcrops that one would call mountains aided in the glowing feeling that she felt in the pits of her stomach. Ha..ha, you're quite right Yui. What a beautiful landscape for a friggin death game. Get yourself together, and stay alive. Kityuisa had no idea what she was doing on floor 7, it had not been that long ago that she had adventured out of the inn she had stayed in for two whole years. Yet here she was skipping from the small floors to floor seven. To others, it would not seem that difficult... At least to those that actually got their life together before two years had passed. Kityuisa had centered herself in the unsafe, "safe" zone known as Deepedge. Her fingers on the hilt of her dagger, her eyes glancing back and forth. That's right, Yui. Stay alert. It's not everyday you lose your sister.. Kityuisa tried to shake her thoughts away but with each passing second they became more and more chaotic, leading to small laughs gracing off the soft lips of the pink-haired female. To anyone, she would seem unknown... weird... crazy... And, that's exactly what she was. A nearby NPC looked at her with a weary and cautious expression that caused Kityuisa to get herself together. Brushing her thoughts away she marched to the NPC, "Hello..." The NPC seemed even more caught off guard with the fact that the once-laughing player was talking to her and offered a shy hello. A smile lit up on Kityuisa's face now, and tried her best to ease the mind of the NPC, but to no avail. With small talk here and there, Kityuisa finally asked the uncomfortable NPC if they had seen her sister. This caused the NPC to dismiss themselves and go into their house.  A frown flittered across Kityuisa's face, and her thoughts follow.. HAHA, what else did you expect? You have no clue how to ease the minds of others when you can't even ease your own mind. Not sure what else to do, Kityuisa walked to the center of the village. Running her fingers through the tips of her hair she looked to the sky, spotting the clouds. A small smile replaced the frown that the NPC had given to her as she felt the warmth of the sun. The sun was pasted on Kityuisa's pale-ish skin and her eyes glanced down from the sky scanning the area around her.

Rumors of the Dragon Hatchlings that protected the valuable emeralds had reached even the weakest of players, Kityuisa  being one of them. Her own location, being in the simple starting place, the Town of Beginnings. Kityuisa had been searching for her sister since the starting ceremony during day one of Sword Art Online, and her search had gotten her no where. Due to this, Kityuisa had remained rooted in this town. Her own thoughts drowning out the realistic measures that she had to take to get stronger to continue her search on other floors. Over the past two years, Kityuisa had refused to leave the town. Her level, still being level one, she devoted herself to just sitting in her inn room that she had spent quite a lot of col overall on. She had become well-known with quite a few NPC's on floor one in the town she never left. She heard all of the rumors, as the frontlines reached each boss room she knew. When they succeeded in the boss fight, she knew. Her knowledge being vaguely tested as she slowly continued to crumble mentally and emotionally. Roughly a week prior to the day that was today, Kityuisa was shocked into the present. She was doing nothing but idly sitting by, her search had to continue on higher floors than she was. Her sister most definitely would not have stayed on floor one forever and deep down Kityuisa knew it. So, when word reached her ears about the dragon hatchling, Kityuisa knew what had to be done. Despite having next to no knowledge on combat, she had been gathering intel about all the occurrences, all the monster in Sword Art Online. The dragon hatchling, sure would be difficult especially due to the fact that the only combat experience Kityuisa had was before the entrance ceremony with her sister when they killed a couple of boars, but if anyone stronger than her were about to face the beasts she would hunt them down and force them to let her join in. The money from the emerald would prove valuable to her, and even if she was... useless, she wanted to continue her search. Besides, if anyone did come from higher floors, perhaps they had met her sister. Kityuisa opened her inventory and equipped her weapon, her sharp dagger that she had been given by one of the many NPC's that had grown attached to Kityuisa, due to the fact that she stayed in town for so long. Kityuisa made her way out of her inn room, she still needed armor... But not having much gear, would never stop her. Her footsteps echoed down the stairwell as she made her way to the base floor of the inn, the NPC waving at her, expecting her to continue her search. Kityuisa waved back, spotting a familiar face at a crowded table, she walked over. She already had a vague idea on where the hatchling was, but she wanted to double check, just to make sure. "The dragon hatchling, it is in the plains, right?" The info-professed NPC nodded its head. Kityuisa blinked a few times, shaking away her small doubt of how this quest would help her find her sister and left the inn, heading in the direction of the plains.

Yui Kana Tsumugi was born in a small unknown town on the edge of Japan. When she was very young they moved to a new town, right near the main hustle bustle of Tokyo, but far enough away to be it's own city. A small unknown city, Chīsai Mura. Ever since her little sister was born, Yui has always been obsessed. Yui would do anything to protect her sister. Around the age of nine, Yui began to learn methods of intelligence and protection, casually. When she turned eleven she went to the big city, Tokyo. A lot of stuff happened there, and when Yui came back she went hard at learning as much as she could. At the age of thirteen she went to America, where she became her family's youngest assassin. Her father had been in the business for a long time before retiring, her mother never knowing. Yui was taught by her aunt and went on a lot of different missions. When Yui graduated her class early, she was happy. Her little sister was really proud of her too! For her little sister's birthday she got both of them a nerve gear and a copy of Sword Art Online. They joined the game together.. But they agreed to meet at the opening ceremony. The ceremony happened and she had never seen her sister again. Ever since that day, she has devoted her life to looking. She had to find her sister. Little does Kityuisa know, but her sister never entered the game that day. Her parents had called her to help with dinner, and Kityuisa was stranded alone, in the game.

Courageous. Yui is very brave and confident in her own abilities. When she wants to do something, she does it. No matter the difficult situations she is facing, she always has a strong heart. Her naturally psychotic nature only boosts her own confidence. She is willing to do anything she has to, if it means she will survive and keep what she owns. Yui doesn't get scared easily and can be leaned on by those that are nervous in nature, not at all confident or anxious by the events that occur.

Intelligent. Yui was a straight A-student at her school and graduated as her class's Valedictorian. Yui is very thought-oriented and has a quick-paced mind. This means that Yui tries her best to think of the best solution to every scenario and thinks things through, even if only briefly, before acting. Due to her intelligence, Yui also has innovative thoughts. She likes to come up with solutions outside of the box and has a vault of knowledge at her disposal. She has taken up a number of different hobbies and interests that aid in her expansive mind.

Friendly. Yui is a very friendly person and will say hi at the drop of a hat. Despite being friendly, Yui tries not to gain close connections with others to the point that she fixates on them, but that does not stop her from adding people to her friend's list and teaming up with others and becoming friends with them. Yui loves people in general, and loves watching human interaction. Yui likes to see how people react to different scenarios and loves to just be surrounded by others.

Fixation. Yui is a very obsessive person, when she finds something or someone she really cares for, she claims it as her own. If someone were to try to take it from her, she will get it back;; whatever the cost. Even, at the price of another person's life. When Yui has something or someone to be possessive over, she will even kill it/them if she gets to keep it close to her. "No one else can have you, so I have to kill you." Due to this personality trait, Yui doesn't take losses easily. If she loses, she can easily become mentally unstable.

Unpredictable. Yui is one who doesn't voice her ideas publicly. She often-times thinks things through and acts right then and there. If she doesn't do it in the moment, she can easily end up not doing something. Her actions are just like a chicken;; running around with its head cut off. Each idea that she has is always different and unique. 

Deranged. Even though Yui isn't one to speak her own thoughts and emotions; in order to give off a confident aura around her;; Yui is very deranged internally. Since the launch of the game, this trait got even more intense. When alone, Yui can be found speaking to the voices inside of her head. While surrounded, she speaks to them within her own mind. Every action she takes is thickly laced with her psychotic thoughts and feelings. Yui may keep herself calm and collected for the sake of others, but when her true thoughts leak to the surface;; its rock bottom. Yui is known to randomly giggle or laugh no matter the circumstance.
