So, I've noticed that over in The World Seed, ALO is finally in development. I'm doing my part to help by spreading the word here, and if anyone would like to help by developing or testing, just PM Kyot0 or Grimm, and they can get you situated.

Well, from what Sports I've done... I could have gone with paintball, but those shots can hurt. Shots to the back are among the worst. I used to do kickball weekly, but I didn't enjoy it as much as my vote. Dodgeball was much more fun, so that's my vote.

Vigilon was making sure the forge was still in working order. Even though he had too few materials, it wouldn't hurt to have some maintenance. Someone entered through the door, and he saw someone looking at two of the items he'd crafted. Bruniikahrel's Resilience, and Darukai. Both pretty good choices. He came up to the counter and asked for the items as he motioned to them. "Yup, that's only 1400 col. It's nice to know that some of my best work can be put to good use." ...Seriously? Am I the only one interested in most OP threads now? I actually thought the latest one that was posted would be bursting with performers or something, due to what the thread was. Is it the place? Is nobody interested? ...Or is it just me?

Right...so I actually have notes to add to some of my answers, for a few reasons I won't be mentioning. The whole thing of being able to create a character in a world like this seemed like a good RP opportunity. To be honest, this is the first Forum RP site I've ever been to. Having to become stronger seemed to be the primary task of my character, Vigilon, from since the beginning, and even the present day. I've been able to find bits of story I could throw in with that in mind, and the only thing I didn't like about this situation of mine, is the slow level growth my character has... I m

Since I was wondering about something, and wanted to get other people's opinions about it...
Is it possible for typical players like myself to start Poll-type threads in SAO(OOC) subforum to get other players' opinions on something?

Well, from what you're saying, I think I haven't given the context...so I will do so now, 'cause better late than never.
Basically, I have found myself in a specific roadblock. I have been considering getting Vigilon into GGORPG, but unlike with SAORPG, I ended up finding about four potential avatar choices and I can't seem to figure out which one to go with. Thus, I considered possibly letting the players around share their thoughts on which one should be the avatar Vigilon ends up with. Besides, all I could come up with on asking for the players' opinions kind of comes in like a multiple choice question that would be easier to track by going with the poll setup. I also didn't see a "GGO(OOC)" subforum anywhere in the world seed, and last time I checked, discord is still not an option for me. And yes, the Poll option does appear for me when I prepare to start a thread.
So...does my context change the answer, or can I still ask for players' thoughts?

@Vigilon If you need anything Gun Gale Online wise, i'm running that project so i can help you in that regard :) As for there being no OOC subform, that is something we really should get on, thanks for bringing that to my attention :)

Vigilon returned to his shop, with materials fresh from the seventeenth floor in his inventory. Oh. Yeah, that. Heh, I honestly knew that was going to happen. I'm such a jerk to my own character. XD
I mean, at least he lives, you know? It's all story, something to develop my buddy, something to drive him to grow stronger, and stay in that direction. That loss is gonna tick him off/disappoint him for sure, he's not going to take it mildly. He will be driven to overcome the situation sooner or later.
One thing I'm glad to know is: My leveling progress speed has improved :)

Vigilon waited patiently as the identification process was happening. He would be at the game's mercy for the item's enhancements. He was hoping it wasn't typical damage, for it would contribute nothing. Shield listed the results. "Hmm...bleed and paralysis will certainly be useful. Vigilon remembered a place where items could be identified. He'd been needing to drop the sword for about a while now, and if he was going to do some half-decent damage for once, he would need to see what the perfect handwraps an Ice elemental had dropped were capable of. He needed to know. If he could use it, he might have a better damage output for the remainder of his tier one days. Which, as a result, could make it a bit easier to take out some mobs he could loot. Vigilon was doing a little cleaning in the area that he did his forging. He had to do it often, so that nothing would end up catching fire or anything. Sure, the building was indeed made of stone, but not everything within the building wasn't flammable. He heard someone knock on the door, followed by his girlfriend's voice. "Yep, I'm here. Vigilon was back in his shop, ready to start crafting again since he had the materials, although not for long. He selected four materials from his storage, and he started up the fire. Anyone wish to join me in a col grinding thread in floor 10? It'll be an OP thread, but there WILL be combat, and for the safety of players, I'd like to have a "maximum" limit that is no player that is higher than level 24 can join. and all monsters will be at the max HP of 500, just for maximum efficiency. The battles will be like, I dunno, one monster per player in thread I guess? Bring buffs if you'll need them!

everyone can agree with that thought. Solo threads are hard it is a test of mental ability to push through it. However, even then solo threads do have the nice bonus of forcing you to be more creative, and forces you to improve your writing style to compensate for the lack of another person helping at.
