Zamharuun glanced at the girl who just cracked the joke, "Aha, good one.." he said with a drained voice, whilst ignoring the remark of falling on spikes *is this girl a sadist?* he thought to himself. Zamharuun took another yawn, and looked back towards the man he fell on who still seemed to be gathering his thoughts, then turned back to the girl and smiled, "i've got one, what do..." Zamharuun looked over the girl's shoulder noticing a woman that appeared to be running away from the area "ehh" he said with a puzzled look, then shrugged. As he turned towards in an opposite direction walking back towards the forest completely forgetting about the joke he was about to tell, his foot got caught under a broken bit of wood that had separated from the fallen branch *thud* "Ow". As he got up again he noticed his left hand had been cut, red blood began flowing out, and tainting a small patch of grass beneath him red, "hmmmmmmm" Zamharuun stared at the cut for a while and then entered another daydream. 

     

  2. Hydra, stood in the centre of the street, things had quieted down a little and people had continued to get along with their daily chores. A brief moment of silence hung in the air, Hydra zoned out shortly,  before calling back about 10 seconds after, "My name is Hydra, if that's a little too tedious to say then why not call me..." Hydra paused again "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..." for another 5 seconds Hydra seemed to go into a deep slumber standing in the bustling street. A confused villager watching him called out to Ethereal "Ahh, most people call him by the name daydreamer, or day for short. If you can't tell why then you must as be as stupid as he is slow." The villager roared chuckling to himself. Hydra suddenly sparked back to life "Alright! See you tomorrow then" Hydra began walking away from the town into the forest, forgetting completely about the whole naming conversation, but in anycase he was smiling as he left.

  3. Hydra was a little taken aback by the adventurers generosity. "Wow, are you sure that would be okay? I don't want to place a burden on you, after all it's my fault I've ended up in the current situation I'm in now." Hydra stretched his arm behind his back, and glanced towards the armoury the man pointed out, the armour was by no means breathtaking to Hydra but it looked like a warming establishment, Hydra looked back at the man. "In any case, I won't ignore your valuable advice, if you do decide you have the time though I will meet you here tommorow at noon, I have to get some preparations done". "Oh and one last thing before I go, what was your name again?" 

  4. "Hey, Wait up!" Hydra came panting up behind Ethereal. "I wanted to apologize about before.. again, you know about the tree thing" Hydra said with a weary smile on his face. "Truth be told, im a little lost, I have been since I arrived here, and well I am now in short supply of bread and was wondering if you could teach me the basics of fighting so I can look after myself a little better". Hydra suddenly becoming aware of his surroundings notices the towns villagers glancing at the man he met early that day. He looks up into the deep azure sky and clenches his fist as though trying to grasp something, *dammit he thinks to himself, if only I didn't zone out so much in my first days here, then maybe I could of made something better of myself like this man here* 

    He glances at the stranger, wondering if he will get a response, becoming slightly anxious with all the townsfolk surrounding him. 

  5. Awoken from his daydream, Zamharuun looked down at the adventurers causing the ruckus, his right leg dangled from the branch he was sat on, back to trunk. He let out a yawn before contemplating if he should greet them. Before he could make that decision the branch he was sat on snapped, the peaceful kiss of the sun breaking through the leaves and the sounds of birds tweeting was suddenly spoilt, "AHHHHHHH!" *thud*. Zamharuun dazed but otherwise fine staggered to his feet. He took another large yawn, before dusting himself off. Looking down at the spot he fell in, he noticed another man that looked to be taking a nap, then he realised this man had actually broken his fall, "Ah s.sorry, bad habit, I was daydreaming, and well I didn't expect to find people here... are you okay? Zamharuun looked at the man with a worried smile on his face. As he turned to look at the others, he noticed several boars surrounding him and the man "When did these get here?" he said with a puzzled look, before taking another yawn failing to contemplate their hostility.

    About: History/personality

    Peter was originally from a middle-class family in England. For most of his life, he had grown up as a gamer receiving his first handheld console at a young age. Playing games taught him how to be insightful, problem-solving skills and a greater respect for things in general. However, of course, it came at a price, by the end of his primary years he had begun showing the early signs of addiction, whilst he had friendships these clearly did not last. Broken away from the real world he entered a violent cycle of coming to grips with what was what, never really going after life but letting life come to him. This attitude left him feeling isolated and depressed at times.

     

    By his early teens, one of his friends at the time recommended he started watching anime, similar to gaming he was intrigued by the livings of various characters. Unfortunately a mix of anime, RPG and his introverted outlook combined into an obsessive daydreaming disorder, that was often triggered by music. For many hours of the day, Peter would daydream, this all occurred in his mind and not in reality. At school, he was relatively successful, however, by no means smart he was not an idiot either, with some effort he achieved high grades although the rest of the time his outlook was laid back, and casual. He was also shy, timid, naive and incredibly anxious.

     

    By the age of 18 he was a mix of emotions and personalities, no one truly knew his character deep down. Not his friends, nor his parents. Yet with the announcement of the nerve gear, he thought he had found the answer, a cure to his troubled mind. SAO was only supposed to be the beginning, in essence, it was. Upon entering he immediately felt his dreams come to life and a great weight lift off his shoulders... Little did he know however that life wasn't as simple as coming to him, the answer was not a cure but a curse. For the price of redemption, he had become a player participating in the death game that SAO had become... 

    Virtues:

    Insightful: Hydra has a keen eye for looking deeper into an individual's motives than most. His quiet and mystical personality gives him a better understanding of those around him and he uses this to do good and honest deeds, it also gives him a better connection with others around him, separating friend from foe and right from wrong. The spearman finds himself emphasising a lot with people who had suffered from a tragic past, even those that annoy him he tries his best to keep away from rather than cause any conflict.

    Creative: Hydra does not lack in a vivid imagination. Rather than focusing on the details, Hydra looks at the bigger picture. He often spends his free time daydreaming and the fact that he is in Aincrad is an example of his dreams and imaginations coming to life though many others would call it being stuck in a nightmare. He further uses this on the battlefield for efficiency. Rather than playing the short quick game, Hydra favors the long. Hydra is no more intelligent than the average person but his wisdom helps him to uncover his opponents strengths and weaknesses in a drawn out battle.

    Harmonious: Hydra does not seek power or glory, he simply wishes to help if help is needed. By no means will he go out of his way looking for those in need but nor will he turn a blind eye to those who are clearly suffering and nearby. Hydra values the weak just as must as he does the strong giving him a fair sense of justice and morality. To the brunette, the life of a King is no more valuable than the life of a peasant. He also applies this to nature, frowning upon those who harm animals for the purpose of entertainment.

    Dreamer/Idle: Hydra got the name 'Daydreamer' for a reason. All the time Hydra's mind drifts off by itself, making him completely oblivious to his surroundings. Although not a huge problem in combat, Hydra can often zone out when others are talking to him. As a result, he tends to never know about the more important details and plans, making himself and others vulnerable. 

     

    Isolated: Although good at empathizing with others, Hydra prefers the quiet and solitude isolating himself from the world. The few friends he has made are very close to him but his sensitive nature means most people he meets are passed off as acquaintances. The worst still if Hydra feels he is failing someone he burns out quickly and has oft' suffered from depression and anxiety as a result.
     

    Naive: Hydra aspires to be something he isn't and may often go overboard trying to live out as his 'dream' type character. This doesn't help in most situations and when thinking of tactical plans and he can only offer so many ideas before he suggests something 'unordinary' that could just make matters worse. If his decision is likely to involve another to much, he might shy out completely offering little input at all.

    Fang of the Water Serpent [T2] (6 Damage) A one handed spear. The tip is silver and slightly curved, it reflects any natural light brightly.  The main shaft of the spear is grey and engraved with an intricate design of a river which is a dark blue.
    Armor of the Water Serpent [T2] (2 Heavy momentum, 1 Regeneration) A black set of armor with deep blue edges. The armor is plated with wave like patterns coming away from the shoulders. A three headed water serpent coils around the main body of the armor and up to the neck where it's heads rest. 
    Shield of the Drowned [T2] (54 Mitigation)  A medium sized shield pitch black in color. Intricate waves flow around the whole shield and towards the center there is a engraving of a creature from the depths dragging its prey down with it. The picture looks to resemble characteristics of a dragon, however only it's eyes are a vivid blue the rest of the image is faded.

    Story Thus Far

    • Hydra's story had begun for the first real time after a tree branch he had sat upon had cracked causing him to land on 'Ethereal'. This was his first friend to make in Aincrad, the pair can often be found in town together questing and helping one another despite the difference in level. He owes a lot to this player, for getting him up and going on his own feet.
    • Hydra has since met many people, although Ethereal seems to be away a lot of the time. Hydra made another great friend by the name of Nixon, however, he to seemed to vanished. Finally, Allania is his other good friend, the two go on many quests together and whilst they fall out now and again they are good friends.
    • Since starting his journey Hydra has finally found his calling, traveling from floor to floor he aims to wipe out creatures that have been causing chaos in nearby areas. Some of these creatures included the Gemini, the sand shark, and his four inner demons. Hydra knows there are much more to battle.
    •  Most recently he has decided to take a short vacation on the second floor where his store has been relocated.
    • As time went on Hydra did more and more quests, forming new allies although never becoming particularly close with any of them. Then came the time of one quest, where he and another murdered an NPC, thus granting Hydra an orange cursor.
    • Time went by and Hydra had to isolate himself from others more and more, he had always been use to feeling lonely. In fact he took enjoyment in the fact he was an introvert. Although as he stood by the frontliners moved onward. A sense of guilt clung to him as a result.
    • Hydra finally removed his orange cursor, dueling Redemption in a 1v1. Now he aims to help once more.
